Hi Harold . Personally I think there are many ways to fast , depending on what you enjoy in life . I drink one bottle of wine a week , if I wanted to fast I could deny myself that for maybe four weeks ? You could maybe not eat meat for one week , keep your t.v. off for a week ? It's only a real fast for me if I am giving up something I really love and enjoy , probably a bit to much .

I agree with you. Why would God create people to be like robots.

He created us in His Image and Likeness. He gave us free Will to choose evil or good; to choose our destiny.

In Deuteronomy Gods says Choose Life!! I told some people that God is Pro Choice and they almost crucified me. He's saying CHOOSE-LIFE.

So that we may LIVE__and our offspring.

Thank The Lord Jesus! That His Blood draws a line in the sand. If we follow Him, we will, to choose Life.

Most people miss it, that a demonized god, named Moloch/Molech, was worshipped by the people giving their children to be sacrificed to him. It's still going on. He's dead, but that practice continues. I guess it's truewe're destroyed for lack of knowledge.

We have free will and are able to choose to obey or disobey God. He's saying: Choose Life.

Before I got saved I drank an ocean of liquor, with pills. Almost died "accidentally". I chose that. After near-death, I chose Life and Jesus. It's lasted 36 years.

Life is more peaceful and agreeable to just choose life; all the time. We can look at this world through the Lense of what God purposed for it

I am a 46 year old Woman just recently placed on the heart transplant list. I pray God allows me to keep the heart I was given by him hallelujah. My heart is beautiful I am a good person whom God created .I also suffer with my kidneys .I ask God to heal me from the crown of my head to the soul of my feet in Jesus name I pray Amen.

Bro Dan That just confirms my point, when a person is born again they choose to go Gods Way his word his condition which requires a change in heart and mind by the spirit not just believe. Please pray for my family. We are in deep regret of our decisions in life. We have lost some loved ones and are somewhat sad. There is a non link to God that we cannot fight. All of Gods dietary rules were for our protection. The didn't have refrigeration.

Certainly in that scene, The Lord is showing us up close and personal, that demons can get inside of humans, pigs, to do their demonic work against the HUMANS. They were inside the man and they were able to move into the pigs. Jesus was showing us that reality. They are outlaw spirits. They do not have permission to get inside anyone.

We have to be exercised in the kind of "fruit" they leave laying around: fear, sickness, depression, unreasonable anger, haughtiness, etc. The part of the crowd that screamed for Jesus to be crucified was demonic. The word of God, is speaking to the person, reading the words, we should put OUR NAME in place of the name he is speaking to.

Hello again Earl My last point when God gave the ten Commandments he Told the children of Israel you shall not throw any other Gods before me I am a Jealous God. There are events in the old testament that the adversary did and there are events that the true God did then there the ones that the True God allowed the adversary to do, why because he is almighty God with Job Satan said to God If I do this he'll curse you, God knew His man and said no he won't and your not allowed to kill him. Job was Gods example of the Goodness of the true God and the Wickedness of Satan, also Gods word says God cannot be tempted neither tempt he any man. God will prove us but not tempt James 1:13+14 there is a difference. Do I believe Gods Will will come to pass absolutely but on His Terms.

Hi Earl There is a difference between God allowing things to happen because he cannot break His Word, God intervening to bring to pass His Word, I am fully aware of the scriptures that you show and many others. Why doesn't he just stop all chaos and world destruction then? Why did He not stop Adam and Eve from there act of disobedience sin in the Garden.

Everything in the old testament was to bring to pass His Greatest achievement which was buying us back from His arch enemy the adversary but doing it on terms that God set up which means he won't lie or manipulate to bring His Justice to pass. He greatest achievement our Saviour on totally legal grounds, and the enemy knows this. Our God is true in all His ways and works are pure and all life giving and sustaining. When our lord and Saviour was here in person where ever he went He wrecked havoc on the enemies kingdom and brought to light the difference between the two, John 10: 9+10 steal kill destroy. The adversary manipulates to his advantage everything the true God has done that is why he will and does use scripture to His Advantage. I think you should get your records on your past surgery and see another doctor. Pain is a sign that something is wrong.

I'm going to put your name on my prayer board; and continue to agree with you for healing.

We ALL go through this.

Keep praising God for strength and guidance; but see the doctor again. Write down your diet, meds you take, over the counter meds too.

Over the years, various biblical scholars and language experts disagree on the interpretation as a gift or favor. (You can easily research this subject.)

I believe God's promise as "a favor" simply because we are instructed by Jesus and all of the apostles including Paul, throughout the scriptures to follow Christ, repent from sin, be baptized, and follow God's 10 commandments, to produce good fruit/works.

Brother Rick, you state you will stick with the scriptures, then you will agree we must take some action too - to receive our salvation!

Here again is apostle Paul "King of Faith" speaking that "we must work out our own salvation with fear and trembling". This takes Action on our part! There are many more verses throughout the bible instructing us "to take action" if we wish to receive our salvation.

Philippians 2:12

"Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling."

So, we must "work out our own salvation", there is no FREE TICKET!

If we are Born Again, we must experience a change! Our old selves should die, and we will live differently, by making a conscience effort to follow God's 10 Commandments and refrain from living sinful lives.

Based on the scriptures, the act of "just believing" does not accomplish salvation. The easiest way to fail, is to say "I can just believe" and continue to live my sinful life and I will receive my salvation. Many people believe this false doctrine and I would suggest they read this scripture below, and think about where their own salvation stands today!

Hi every and any one . Thinking about the herd of swine in Matthew . I think it's a good idea to try to remember how powerful and important visual images were and still are . My memory for words and names and places etc is terrible but I never forget a face or a landscape , I can find my way around any where that I've ever been even if I've only been there once as I can remember what I've seen very easily . The Bible is full of truly awesome visual images , the transfiguration of course , the little cloud like a man's hand that brought rain , I'm sure you can think of loads also . In the mouth of two or three witnesses......I'm sure that if some one that you respect and trust says to you : I saw it with my own eyes ! You would be inclined to believe them . Think of some of the great visual memories that have stayed with you , even from early childhood , they never leave you and the people who saw the pillar of fire and the pillar of cloud would have those images for ever , to comfort and encourage them during hard times when their faith might have been tested . Visual images are still important but I'm guessing they were extremely important in helping the Truth spread as there would have been thousands of witnesses to the awesome things done in the Old and especially in the New .

I've puzzled over this too . Those pigs shouldn't even have been in the land of Israel . Maybe they represented the unclean Romans ? Or all Gentiles ? Or the way in which there will not be any unclean thing in Israel in the future ? I'm sure there is also some symbolism there as well as an actual herd of pigs . What useful purpose was served by letting the Demons posses the Swine and cause them to commit suicide? The poor pigs weren't hurting anyone and the swine herd suffered a financial loss through no fault of his own-and even in Old Testament times, non-Jews were not commanded to refrain from eating pork. This was one of the special strictures that only applied to God's chosen ones.

The law was given to Israel and there was no tolerance in keeping it. It was the ministry of condemnation. If you break one you broken them all and if you do it once you're forever lost if you're not covered by the Lambs blood.

No you will not loose your salvation. If you are really save. That you received Jesus Christ as your personal saviour repent to him. The Holy Spirit will work on you to change your ways.

Salvation is a gift from God.

Not of works, lest any man should boast.

I know we still do something that is not good doesnt mean that you will loose your salvation by doing the wrong thing. The good thing that we have the assurance to go with the Lord and repent the sin that we do for our wrong doings and the Holy Spirit will help us to change and to turn away from the bad things. The assurance of being saved receiving the salvation of God.
