    Sister GiGi:

If there's not HIDDEN meaning in God's word, but totally literal so all can understand, then whats the meaning of:

John 9:41 Jesus said unto them, If you were blind, you should have not sin: but since you say. We see, therefore your sin remaineth.

Do physically blind people literally have no sin.

The TRUTH is HIDDEN and the Spirit has to tell you the meaning.

John 6:63 ....my words are spirit....

I takes the SPIRIT to understand the meaning.

1 Corinthians 2:14 ....because they are spiritually discerned.

    Sister Gigi;

Matthew 13:33 Another parable spake he to them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leaven.

If there's no hidden meanings in God's word, tell me what this means.

The disciples nor anyone else understood Christ words, because they have to be spiritually discerned, the TRUTH is HIDDEN.

Hello Jeanette John was called John the baptist because that is what he did and that was His Brief but very Important ministry to Israel to prepare peoples hearts for there messiah. Also Jesus Christ in going to him and being baptised was part of filling all the law which is what he completed. Now some say that to be born again you need to be water baptised but in Acts chapter 1:5 For John truly baptised with water but in contrast ye shall be baptised in Holy spirit ot many days hence. One Spirit baptism supersedes the other water.

Hi Dean No Dean how can A God of Love by freedom of will be a control freak.
  • David - 4 years ago
Hi Earl By your communication whether the spirit or not can be determined by the reader, but apparently we have no will and we are nothing but tried tested exeriment with God or so to speak puppets. A loving God does not manipulate nor control thats what true love which is by freedom of will. Do you make your children love you or do you make people love you by force? The Spirit Speaks!

How did the name of John the Baptist get started?
  • David - In Reply on Luke 10 - 4 years ago
Hi Tim In the context of Jesus Teaching first a priest then levite passed him on the other side no compassion or heart by their actions, then a samaritan not only cared for his wounds but picked him up took him to a inn ad paid for him to be taken care of look at he compassion and care and love given to someone he did not know it all took time and money. Interestingly the priest and levite were supposed to know Gods will by the law but didn't carry it out. Context Thou shalt love the lord thy God with all your heart soul mind and strength and neighbor as thyself. It speaks loudly, also the wine ad oil were used together medicinally in the east.

Sister GiGi, Do you think possibly long held doctrines could be incorrect.

Revelation 12:9 ...Satan...who DECEIVES the whole world....

This says EVERYONE has been deceived, can you point to day that the Spirit brought you out of that deception.

I can point to the time the Spirit delivered me from the TRADITIONS OF MAN.

Do you walk by and comment on trash someone else threw down on ground?

I actually "humble myself" and pick it up.

We are all called to be good stewards. That's what I was talking about. Have a blessed day.

Sister Sacha, God puts us here and he lays a TEST before us. WE spend most of our lives never knowing the answers to the test, THEN the one who wrote the test comes and whispers the ANSWERS in our ears.

Hi Mabylissa By the time the wise men or Magi saw Jesus he was not a baby he was a young child in a house Mathew 2:8-11 the shepherds saw a babe in a manger Luke 2:12 Jesus was at least 2 years old when the magi saw him that's why herod gave the order so he wouldn't miss. God intervenes and told Joseph at nazareth Mathew 2:12-15 go to Egypt thats when herod gave the order which in verse 18 was prophecy spoken by Jeremiah. Herod was evil ,when he died Joseph was told go back to nazareth of Galilee when God wants His will to pass nothing will stop that.

Hi Tim Exercising my sense of humour I was going to say maybe he thought it was a salad LoL O.K. seriously doing that at that time both fluids in balance have medicinal properties it was not unusual to lightly wrap wounds with oil and wine.
  • David - In Reply - 4 years ago
Hi Fred I don't understand your statement God sends someone to hell, that contradicts these scripture. John 3:16-19 those who [choose] to believe not. They liked there evil deeds. Romans 1:21-24 Gods gave them over but there choice or will not to glorify God. Gods will is 1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. God does not condemn or accuse that's the adversaries job, man by freedom of will or choice or if you will is manipulated to not believe and walk away from God. God already knows mans condition that was the whole purpose of sending His Son knowing that some would believe and be rescued. Again John 3:16 think about it.
  • Chris - In Reply on Luke 10 - 4 years ago
I agree Tim, that would sound strange to read it that way. Though I think it should be understood that the Samaritan bound up this guy's wounds, first pouring in the oil & wine. So his wounds were bound, he was put on the donkey, taken to the inn & cared for. The oil & wine information is just added in there showing that the care given to his wounds was more than just a bandaid job. At least that's how I read it & for it to make sense.

Hi Gigi What I'm seeing is that Rebekah was shown by the lord Gen. 25:22+23 that the one child Jacob was by promise and the other was indeed going to serve jacob. The interesting scripture to me is Jacob came out second and took hold of his heel why would God mention that if there wasn't a specific point perhaps Jacob was supposed to come out first. Esau being the first born by birthright eastern culture naturally would get the blessing but when Esau sold out so to speak for just food that told me he had no commitment. There are a number of things Esau did which showed his motives weren't right, also Rebekah knew what God was telling her and made sure the birthright went to whom God was telling her. The promise was already made to Jacob God gave Rebekah and Jacob revelation Gen. 27:5-27 to be sure His will would be carried out. I don't believe Jacob or Rebekah were deceptive I believe God was showing them what to do.

Many times on this commentary the term the spirit showed me or the spirit reveals or I got a revelation has been stated or mentioned, given that the Word of God is written revelation or what God has revealed on how he functions or wants understood. Concerning spiritual matters to have 6 different interpretations or ideas of what is meant to say my understanding is more appropriate but to say the spirit showed me is a different story. God is not going to have 10 different ideas one subject matter that is confusion or give a new revelation on what is already written. Not at all judging or pointing finger I myself also more than likely have done this. It is a valid point. We speak the truth in love keeping in mind its not to be squeezed to be made to fit our ideas but let it speak for itself, God word is perfect and it is to use a figure of speech the mind of God.

Knowing the words of Christ never change.

This bible I have has not changed. This I suppose because the world has never changed!

The sinful nature of man never changes, their is nothing new under the sun!

There is however this He says!

That the world shall wax worse over time. The condition ,though the same. will worsen?

If you know His word and have lived long enough, you too would know these things!

Their are Pastors and priests who teach otherwise, that it is not possible for a loving God would send men and woman soul too hell! These so called docs of theology in their own ignorance will take you too hell right along with them!

Hell is a real place ! Damnation is a real word!

    Repent and be baptized F.E.S.
