Hi English Sacha In the old testament men of God had spirit upon them conditionally which is why David the King said take not thy Holy Spirit from me. Notice I said upon them not in them None of the disciples had spirit until the day of pentecost when it became available to be born again by believing In what Jesus Christ by the Work of Gods Grace. Abraham was justified by believing there are people in the old testament who were as God says in Luke 1:6 were both righteous walking in the commandments of the law doesn't mean they had spirit and doesn't mean they did not sin it's just that they did not break fellowship intentionally. So the people in the old testament will be resurrected by there faithful walk in the law, we in the age of grace totally different administration saved under Gods deliverance by Jesus Christ are not saved by our works but strictly by Gods choosing and our believing. We must believe to receive.

Hi T. lewis All Biblical prophecy telling of future events I.E. when thus saith the lord is stated happens verbatim, when I hear I'm not sure of time frame or it wasn't clear or it should happen soon or was either God or an angel red flags go up .

The Apostle Paul to the Galatian church said if I or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel let them be accursed . First thing 2 Peter 1;20+21 No prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation[that which is forthtold or foretold], second prophecy has already been given of whats going to happen in the world to unbelievers that is what the gospel is for.

If someone goes on t.v. and says God is telling him there's someone watching out there with weak heart and if 8 million people are viewing chances are someone with that condition will be listening. Once the words I'm not sure or it wasn't clear no dice the true God is always clear and specific, no confusion.

Revelation or specific knowledge from God will always fit with scripture James 3:17 also most revelation either to deliver a person to get them born again which is a glory to God or to protect defend and edify the church which is a Glory to God

Sister Sacha, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

Daniel 12:1 And at that time: (prophecy) the coming ministry of Christ, in the FLESH for forty two months; afterwards the ministry of CHRIST THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT; which has been going on now for two thousand years.

Daniel 12:1 And at that time shall Michael: Michael is the MESSENGER (angel) of GOD; CHRIST is the MESSENGER (angel) of GOD. Michael is Christ and Christ is Michael.

Malachi 2:7 For the priest's (Christ is our high priest) lips shall keep knowledge, and they (priest's lips) shall seek the law at his mouth (Christ mouth): for he (Christ) is the MESSENGER (angel) of the Lord.

Jude 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel (messenger of the Lord).....

Revelation 12:7 ....Michael (CHRIST, messenger of the Lord) and his angels (ministering Spirits, messengers)......

Daniel 12:1 And at that time shall Michael (Christ) stand up, the great prince (Christ) which standeth for the children of thy (God's) people: and there shall be a time of trouble (has been going on now for two thousand years), such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time (when you can enter into the kingdom of God) thy people shall be delivered (saved from death and the grave), every one (chosen to be a priest) that shall be written (IN CHRIST) in the book (IN the WORD, IN CHRIST).

There is TWO RESURRECTIONS; the resurrection of the saints, both those of the old testament (at Christ resurrection) and those that are born again (that share in Christ resurrection, so they never see death).

Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth (all those that died before Christ resurrection and those not chosen in the AGE of grace) shall awake, some to (age of the ages) life (those in the FIRST RESURRECTION), and some to shame and (age of the ages) contempt (SECOND RESURRECTION).

You can NEVER understand the prophecies without understanding there are TWO RESURRECTIONS.

Thinking more about Daniel Ch 12 V 2 , I suppose that those who are raised to condemnation could be the Israelites who witnessed Gods miracles when He brought them out of Egypt and led them through the desert for forty years and yet they still moaned and misbehaved and didn't trust Him , and those Jews who were alive when Christ was amongst them and they heard and saw him and knew who he was and yet they still rejected him and therefore rejected their own God who had sent Christ to them . That would fit but I worry that it's me that's making it fit because I want it to .
  • GRACE_ambassador {ChrisE} sound decisions - In Reply - 4 years ago
Precious friends, I would agree with the 'decision by conscience,' since God Does Give believers a 'sound mind!' 2 Timothy 1:7 As with my rule of 'Sound Doctrine' of studying ALL of The Scriptures, may the LORD help me 'Carefully Consider' ALL of the medical Evidence of Toxicity vs SAFETY of ALL of the 'clinical' trials of NEW experimental medicines (and pending lawsuits?), and the advice of my family's expert physician of what is or is not for us. Amen?

In my own family, we have not had the vaccine, but have all had the Covid, and are now 'immune.' Praise God For HIS GRACE on us!:

Curious The book of Romans is written to the body of Christ people born again in the church now in Chapter 8:1 ir starts out those whoa walk spiritually no condemnation then near the end from 30-39 the point is for the believer nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ because we are separated by God called out by God redeemed by God made righteous that isn't license to sin or break fellowship, we are talking about what God did in us through Jesus Christ not what we did to ourselves.

We are saved , called ,made righteous, spiritually seated in the heavenlies, that cannot be retracted, but you can choose to not walk by the spirit that is in us therefore make up your mind Gods Will his word or your will the flesh.

First one freedom believing God to meet your needs second one bondage driven by our old man nature.

  • T. Levis - In Reply on Psalms 68 - 4 years ago
Chris as I've been studying prophecy I've realized it was given in times when it was needed, either for correction or for hope, direction, protection. If things were obvious it wouldn't be needed. I am referring to all prophetic here. Matthew 2:12,13, Matthew 16:22-27, Luke 13:33,34, Luke 2:26, Daniel 10:1-3, 1 Samuel 3-1,9,10,11,12,13,14, it's also for revelation, exposure: when a person thinks they've hidden something from others or GOD= 1 Samuel 15:10-29, 2 Samuel 11 & 12, 2 Chronicles 20:20, There are many examples in scripture.

Those two examples you've given wouldn't seem to me prophetic but foresight if it didn't edify the Church, encouraged, give direction, revelation etc., In line with GOD & HIS Words we could reflect on. Ezekiel is an example of very strange exhibited behavior probably to get the attention of "a stubborn people" so even if someone seems weird that might not be a reason not to listen. So, in the examples you gave on the surface it seems irrelevant to us.

Let me give an example. Yesterday we were discussing Australia. Amanda Grace has given prophetic 'Words' regarding Australia saying things like "GOD hasn't forgotten you Australia" she said several things about leadership & GOD knowing the wrong that some leadership were doing. I think she said an earthquake would be a sign, there was a large earthquake very soon after then a few political things happened with people stepping down. Then just recently a Pro.Life Premier was elected. Looks to reflect in line with GOD's will. Her blog has her written prophectic Words Amanda Grace Ark of Grace.

Even with accurate 'Words' 1 Kings 13:11-34, Deuteronomy 13:1-5, serve GOD only. Hopefully this helps

I do not believe you can loose your salvation. I believe that once you are saved and truly believe in your heart, then you are always saved. I have not been in God's word as I should have been for many years now. I am back to reading my bible daily and I have lots of questions.

Thank you for answering my question.
  • Earl Bowman - In Reply - 4 years ago
Sister Sacha, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

God CHOOSE you before the foundations of the world: You CANNOT lose your salvation since you were CHOSEN, because you salvation is not up to you; but GOD.

Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath CHOSEN US in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love.

Ephesians 1:11 In whom (in Christ) we have obtained an INHERITANCE (to become a Son of God), being predestinated according to the purpose of him who woreketh ALL THINGS after the counsel of HIS WILL.

Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he that began a good work in you WILL PERFORM IT until the day of Jesus Christ.

John 15:16 You have not chosen me, but I HAVE CHOSEN YOU, and ordained you (to be priest) ........

1 Peter 2:9 For you are a CHOSEN generation, a royal PRIESTHOOD .....

Exodus 40:15 ....for their ANOINTING shall surely be an everlasting PRIESTHOOD, throughout their generation.

May the SPIRIT reveal his TRUTHS to us, God bless you.

Hello, it really doesn't matter what man thinks, but what God says, correct? So, if you believe and trust God then go with God's word. Here's the problem: people are falsely assuming they're 'saved' before they're even judged. It doesn't say in the Bible we're saved before we're judged, but after. The judgment is to determine salvation. So, you have many here claiming they can't lose their salvation. But that won't occur until after this life. So, they are taking verses that are for that and assuming they apply now. But read the Word closely, Paul said we can have assurance of salvation. Not that we're saved and can do whatever we want with no consequence. Paul said to run the race to get the prize. But people here are thinking he said 'you already have the prize, so don't run any race, and enjoy the world.' It says don't conform to the world.

Matthew 12:32 "...but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come."

    Matthew 7:21-23

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."

Hebrews 10:26 "For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,"

    Hebrews 6:4-6

James 2:14-26 "...faith, if it hath not works, is dead..."

James 2:19 "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble."

1 Peter 1:13 "...hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;"

    Romans 11

John 14:15 "If ye love me, keep my commandments."

    Matthew 12:31-32

    Romans 14:12

1 Peter 1:5 - "...salvation ready to be revealed in the last time."

1 Cor 9:24-27 "run the race", not the 'race was already won.'

    2 Peter 3:17

    Luke 8:5-18

    1 Timothy 4:1

    2 Peter 2:20-22

David Absolutely he was in a culture that had more gods and holidays than we have now between the greeks and romans which worshipped intellect and nature and self then other cultures that worshipped the galaxy i.e. planets or a combination of all of what I stated. Christsmasses origination is Romans Saturnalia celebration in origin. So indeed what Paul was talking about in colossians 2:16-23 covers all this stuff.
  • Jesse - In Reply - 4 years ago
    Dear Curious,

I believe in eternal security of the believer. I believe salvation CANNOT be lost. The entire salvation process from start to finish is all of God, not man. It is God who saves, and it is God who keeps a person saved. If salvation is dependent on man's work in order for man to keep himself saved, then are we really saved by and living under God's grace, or our own works?

What do you believe about salvation? If you are saved, do you believe you can lose yours? If so, what is it that would cause you to lose it?
  • Gail - In Reply - 4 years ago
No, you cannot loose your salvation. We are sealed with His Holy Spirit, the earnest of our inheritance, until the day of redemption and nothing can separate us from His love( Eph 1:13-14). Paul our apostle, the Apostle to the Gentiles, commanded members of the Corinthian Church in 2 Cor 13:5 and 2Cor 11:4 (some preach another Jesus and another gospel ) to examine themselves whether they be in the faith. If the answer to that is yes, then you have eternal security. See Eph 4:5 and Phil 1:6

Hello Matt If what your stating a lot of what you hear being taught have no clarity and appear to be salespitches that's because for most its a head trip of knowledge Jesus Christ spoke the wisdom of God by Spirit inspired sayings not head knowledge with no heart, that's what the pharisees and sadducees and politicians did and somethings haven't changed much.

Hi Brother Agabus took Pauls robe ties off and tied himself and said thus saith the lord so will the man wearing this be tied up going to Jerusalem, God was trying to tell Paul through Agabus don't go and told him point blank that the man wearing this would be taken and if it weren't for being rescued Paul would have died. The reason the believers ceased saying do the will of the lord in context they were begging him not to go to Jerusalem which was Gods Will. This story is hardly read in the proper context.
  • Stanley Turner on Genesis 1 - 4 years ago
The point of Genesis is that God created everything. But then the Bible tries to explain what everything is, which is challenging. Day and night, what about dawn and dusk? Land and water, what about coral reefs? And the exceptions are many. So what? My question is "should Christians look to the fact that God created everything, or should we nitpick the Bible for legalistic reasons?" Thanks for your answer. Stan

Your bible is what I have been looking for, I use to hate everything about Christ, but now I love him and go to church every Sunday. Thank you so much!
  • Rick - In Reply - 4 years ago
Brother I hear that loud and clear, I believe in our day and time the true God isn't moving that big because of unbelief in the body of Christ. A friend of mine was at a rather large gathering where a believer was sharing about idolatrous practices and in the middle of it said by the way all of you still doing these things leave now or I will come down and throw you out, about fifty people got up and left ten minutes later he said with a smile now lets Get Into some serious Bible.

Some one might say that's harsh, I say spiritually God was cleaning house nobody was harmed they were ask to leave. By the way supposedly this was a leadership conference.
  • David - In Reply - 4 years ago
Hi Kent The reason why in the old testament they could lose the spirit it was upon them not in it was conditional we are born again we didn't earn it, it is Gods gift God gave it unconditionally now an individual can choose to walk in the old man nature or be tricked and think what he's doing is walking by the spirit or not really be born again but the gifts and calling of God God doesn't take back. I know of a popular musician who is born again and chose not to walk in the faith believing anymore that's not Gods fault. Let God be true and all men fall short of the glory of God, we who choose to believe sin daily in some way but not on purpose totally different situation, we ask for forgiveness and get back to fellowship. It's the ones as it says in the Epistle of 1 John that they think they don't sin and call God a liar that are deceived.
