    Hi Sarah.

Lets put this verse in context.

In the previous verses the Lord is speaking of false teachers and how to identify them. -

Matthew 7:15-21. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

In verse 22 he gives the contrast of the deceptive vain works of those mentioned.

If you noticed the Lord never challenged them in their proclaimed works

    The Emphasis is being deceived!

He said I NEVER knew you.

You see in the scripture unbelievers prophesying.

EXAMPLE: John 11:49-51. And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,

Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.

    And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;

This group in verse 22 was NEVER saved!

Jesus says I NEVER new you.

It's not what you know, It's who you know and who knows you!

John 10:26-28. But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

( MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE, AND I KNOW THEM, and they follow me:)

And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Your fruit reflects what has been changed on the inside.

    God bless.

JD Moore, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

Man translated the bible, man has beliefs of his own; often, using the word being translated to fit His belief.

Why did the translators translate the Greek word hades (sheol in Hebrew) half the time GRAVE and half the time HELL, when the same word is being translated.

Revelation 1:18 ....I (Christ) have the keys of hell (HADES) and death.

1 Corinthians 15:55 ... O grave (HADES), where is thy victory.

The same Greek word translated two ways.

The translators couldn't translate hades as hell in 1 Corinthians 15:55 because Christ has victory over hell (hades).

Christ has VICTORY over DEATH and THE GRAVE, keys (VICTORY) of the GRAVE (mistranslated hell) and DEATH.

These keys and this victory is Christ RESURRECTION.

John 11:25 .... I am the resurrection ...... Keys (victory) of DEATH and the GRAVE

The same translators translated the Greek word aion to mean eternally or everlasting or for ever and ever, when it aion should have been translated AGE.

Revelation 11:15 ....and he shall reign forever and ever...should be translated, he shall reign for the AGE of the AGES.

We know this is correct because 1 Corinthians 15:24 says when he has subdued all thing to himself he will turn the kingdom back to the Father, so he has to reign for the AGE OF AGES and not for ever and ever.

This has happened to me as a choir director forced out from a calling from Jesus to praise and sing and teach his gospel even to youth however this happened to me from leaders who coveted and took what they could not and would not try to understand my true calling that was shown to me in a vision from the lord Jesus almighty god. the one who did this is a stranger to me but accepted by some who just seemed to need the man and not our living god I truly feel the Levite spirit working and trying to keep up the church is a great joy to me and a few others considering that god would use me a sinner saved by his marvelous grace now I need his guidance and strength I forgive as I have been so abundantly forgiven god bless you for this platform my heart is truly blessed by this message from Nehemiah 3

    Evelyn,

Verse 16 says that if any man see his brother (That is, a Christian), sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death.

You see, it's God's will that if I see a brother or sister involved in a sin that is not unto death, (And that's the rejection of Christ), I can pray for every born again believer, and God's life will minister to them, because God will not allow His people to live in habitual sin. And I can pray according to His will. But then he goes on to say that there is a sin unto death: And I do not say that he shall pray for it.

Verse 17 says that all unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death. So, all unrighteousness is sin. That's the non-believer. And there is a sin that's not unto death.

All the sins that Christians commit are not unto death. The only sin in the bible that is unto death is in Matthew 12:31-32. Jesus said wherefore I say unto you, all manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

And whosoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaks against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

The Holy Spirit is here to convict people of their need of Christ. If you reject His testimony, you have committed the unpardonable sin. So what John is saying is that I can't pray for someone who is rejecting Christ. I can't pray for them to get saved because that's between them and God. I just pray for His will to be done.

And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

Look up, where are the seven mountains located. This tells you who the beast is. The beast is located in Rome or in Vatican City

Revelation 17:18 Tells you who the beast rules

Hi Dorothea These are the scripture then you decide I choose to let Gods Word speak for itself. In the Gospel of luke 4:6 The devil says to jesus Christ all this power and glory of them speaking of the kingdoms of the world will I give thee for that was delivered unto me. Carefully notice it does not says ownership it says ruler there is a major difference. Also in 2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of those that believe not. Also Ephesians 6:12 for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers again notice power. Now in Genesis Gods arch enemy satan knew that God gave dominion and power to Adam and in Genesis 3 that dominion and power was handed to serpent [figure of speech magnifying his slyness] i.e. the devil by making them believe his lie so he stole the power and glory of creation from Adam because they believed His word instead of Gods Word. Meaning God said thou shalt surely die the serpent thou shalt not surely die. They died spiritually they lost there spiritual connection with God and power over His Creation. He DID NOT INHERIT THE POWER OF THE WORLD. Now with what Jesus Christ accomplished for the believer when born again that power has been bought back for us in Christ Jesus when we walk by the spirit. Ephesians 3: Now unto him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the POWER that worketh in us.

Good morning Nic, Please look to Jesus as your refuge and eternal hope. The Holy Spirit will confirm your place in Jesus by Peace. This is all because God the Son came and fashioned himself as a man and was confirmed by God the Holy Spirit and God the Father at the Baptism of John. He, Jesus took on the sins of the world, your own and mine and died in them but God by the power of the Holy Spirit resurrected Him to Life eternal. We could never approach God in our sins directly except by the shed blood of Christ by faith. In Christ we can dwell in peace and be led by the Holy Spirit protected from the concern of blasphemy of God by our sin. This is the Love of God in His Will; to come to man to save man in his sins in God who is our Lord and master and his name is Jesus. Jesus sent God the Holy Spirit to comfort the believer and teach the believer all truth, as the Holy Spirit is Truth. The blasphemy of the Holy Spirit can only happen by claiming The Holy Spirit to one's self without being in Jesus the Son of God whom is God. Where there is no remission of sin, sin will remain and sin is spiritual death and spiritual death is the answer to unforgiven sin. I hope this answers questions.

  • Chris - In Reply on Genesis 15 - 4 years ago
Hello Prasanth. In Genesis 15:1, Abram received a vision from God & in it God spoke to Him. As declared to us in the Bible, the Essence of God's Being revealed to us is His Word & His Spirit: not three gods, but One God manifested in the fulness of His Being. So when God speaks, as here, & many other places in the Bible, He is sending out His Word to inform or alert man.

But when God planned at a specific time that One should lay down His Life for the sins of mankind, instead of giving another animal for sacrifice or creating another man for this purpose, God sent forth His Word (from within Himself), clothed it with flesh, so that the Word of God could now be seen & heard by His people ( John 1:1-14; Hebrews 1:1-6) & ultimately lay down His Life for us all ( John 10:14-18; 1 John 3:16). So the Word of God came into the world formed as a human babe & was called the Son of God ( Luke 1:35).

  • Rick - In Reply on Matthew 12:50 - 4 years ago
Hi Nic These are things if God you should dwell on. First God Is Love that is his nature that is his heart towards creation that is his motivation, that is what he does all the time. He heals, He gives life, He protects, He preserves, He builds up, every aspect of who he is The Father of Fathers the Almighty sustainer, He is tender sweet forgiving and forgetting of our shortcomings knowing that we are but flesh and blood, all these aspects and more are shown throughout scripture. For those of us who fear him better known as respect Him He is wonderful, to those who reject him they fear Him but that is terror knowing His righteous judgement and eventually their end he is despised. Remember in the scripture when Gods angels appeared to believers first two words always. Gabriel with Mary fear not Shepherds in the fields fear not, the angel to Zacharias fear not, so why not make it God to Nic fear not! God Bless!

The Revised Standard Bible: What about who translated this version? I want to zero in on how this bible was put together, who paid for it to be originated and why. Please refer me to the source materials to answer these questions in order to reveal how superior the KJV is over all other efforts and claims to be God's Word. The KJV is the only true written in English and unedited?

Hello and God Bless Nic God cannot protect people from sin, sin is the state we were born in Ephesians 2:1 or driven by the desires of flesh five senses. Now when you are born again confessing Romans 10:9+10 and believe and walk out on the faith given the faith of jesus Christ Gods viewpoint of you is sinless, all sin past present and future paid for and forgiven. The challenge for the Christian is now to learn to listen to the new man created in righteous by God which is the spirit inside and act or to do everything same as you did before you were born again i.e. old man nature which by nature was against God. Also a really big deal is not to beat yourself up when you sin, not saying don't tell yourself its ok, in contrast know or understand what was done wrong thank god for forgiveness and move on. Don't think that all believers aren't in the same boat so to speak that we don't all act in our old man nature unwillfully that's part of the renewed mind battle. Notice I said battle because the battlefield is the mind, Godly thoughts and actions or your going south. Prayerfully this helps.

Hi Eric The vision seen by peter james and john was Elijah and moses, they were not physically there because they were dead jesus told the disciples to tell no one. It is the same type of vision given to peter in the book of acts by the spirit Acts 10:17. A vision is revealed knowledge to give direction by God to do or understand what he wants known or done. The church Epistles Given to Paul concerning the Church of God in the age of grace is this kind of knowledge known as revelation or revealed by the spirit.

Satan can do nothing without the will of God. While having this wisdom, one may begin to understand the works of God that they are past our understanding. We pray His will be done!

That salvation, He has provided through the Son, will be according to His glorious nature, and what we need to know He will provide through the knowledge of His Son. Desire the sincere milk of the word that u may grow thereby! F.E.S.

"Casting out Satan" . A witness who loves Christ and His words will do much more than cast out satan. You are not of the world, if you are a true believer in the gospel, you will cast out even demons! Unaware you may be of these things, you are bringing a soul closer to His redeemer! Opening the eyes, that live in darkness! You are a child of God!

    God Bless you Sarah!

The Angels desire to look into those things that live and move within the soul of man! This is how they glorify Him, exalting His kingdom through their praises! While we are His instruments on earth, they are the witnesses of the holy Spirit and its works within the soul of the believers! The same power Joshua had, is the power we have through the holy spirit!
  • Fred Scanlan - 4 years ago
Glorifying God in the man Christ Jesus! How profound that this holy spirit can move mountains, change the direction of the winds, even the change the great religious minds! This holy spirit found in the body of Jesus Christ. The same living and moving Son of God, that holds all things together!
