It's seems that people like to de simplify things , that is what they used to do in the dark ages . People who could read didn't want the less fortunate to be able to read and understand the Truth for themselves because then they would realise that the word of God was being twisted and manhandled by them for their own benefit . The ruling classes manipulated the word of God in order to manipulate the rest of the population for their own benefit . I firmly believe that this is why God caused us to have the Bible for ourselves . He gave us the printing press and brains to learn to read and understand for ourselves so that others can't manipulate His word . He does not want us to be ignorant of His love in our lives .He does not want us to have to rely on some one else telling us what to think and feel and do . He gave us His word and made it simple because He wants us to understand and believe and be close to Him because He loves us . He is not the author of confusion or mysticism . It is simple . People mystify it in order to inflate their own egos , it the ' I know something you don't ' mentality , ' you couldn't understand this you are not educated enough ' , don't believe it folks , this book is for YOU . It's a love letter from your God . You can understand it .

Yes , and you are correct , there are numerous , loads , tons ! of those words , words , spoken by God Himself . Do we discount and disregard the words that God speaks because He speaks most in the Old Testament ? Does God deceive Israel ? Does God lie ? No , He definately does not ever lie .

If you read carefully ,Jesus is saying that that is what those people say they have done . Just because they say that they have done those things doesn't mean that they have done those things . They claim that they have cast out devil's and done marvelous works . Jesus obviously knows better .

Hello Nic. You've received some good advice, as we would correctly look at this matter (your matter) with spiritual eyes, i.e. finding the answers from the Scriptures. As much as I fully agree that the answer can only be found in the Word of God & with implicit trust in Him to work His Grace in you, I thought to join in to share a personal encounter with someone I know who demonstrated aspects of what you've shared here.

She is a sister in Christ, fully in love with her Lord. Yet she had blasphemous thoughts constantly ringing through her head. And so severe were they, that she believed those thoughts were not just passing thoughts, but being articulated in her own words against God. In sessions of counselling with her, she actually admitted that she heard foul voices compelling her to blaspheme against God & numerous occasions of believing that she had lost her salvation. Many servants of God had shared & prayed with her, but she continued to grow weak in spirit because of this continual turmoil in her head. She did love the Lord & so was perplexed how she could love Him & yet blaspheme Him.

Now, I know that you may or may not identify with this dear one, but what was determined was that this was not a spiritual problem per se, but had its roots in her brain function. She was one who had some type of 'chemical deficiency' that seemed to play havoc with her thinking & particularly manifested in this spiritual area. She enjoys great relief now from these 'voices & thoughts' as her Christian doctor/psychologist has her on medication to deal with this brain aberration/deficiency. She did come off or reduced her medication at times, & the mental afflications began. Her doctor often had to regulate her dosage.

I just share the above to give you another side to this dilemma & not at all suggesting this must apply to you. Maybe something to explore - and if you do, I think only a Christian doctor would understand your experience - others might write you off as crazy.

Hello Tony. Thank you for your further clarification; previously I wasn't clear as to how you were viewing these passages. If I may explain my understanding:

a. Jeremiah 31:34 & Micah 7:18-20. I believe we see these passages differently. In both passages, I see a new Covenant God made & now brings in for Israel. This is not the New Covenant in Christ's Blood which avails for all men, but another Covenant that is different from the Mosaic ( Jeremiah 31:31,32) (& by inference, the Davidic) - a Covenant which will be unconditional (v32); it will include a change in their hearts, fellowship with God, knowledge of God, & forgiveness of sins (vv33-34). In Truth, all this avails for them through the Messiah of God, Whom they rejected & crucified; & so they go the same way as the Gentiles who reject God's Offer of Salvation. Yet, there will be a day in the Millennium, when they will finally acknowledge the One "Whom they pierced" & God will confirm this Covenant made to them & their sins will be forgiven. And also with Micah 7:11-20: God will fulfil His Promises to Israel, to Abraham, & to the fathers of old (v20). These verses also speak of that special time of forgiveness & blessing to the House of Israel.

b. Revelation 20:10. This verse aligns with Revelation 19:19,20; that the beast & his false prophet were first cast into the Lake of Fire. And Revelation 20:10 shows that Satan also joins them there & their torment will be eternal. So, I don't understand, "Since the wicked are raised from their fiery grave, why do they need a second judgement?" Which 'raising' are you referring to? And which 'wicked'? But if you're referring to vv 11-15 (Great White Throne Judgement), the Books were opened & their names were not found therein - & those dead were raised to judgement, including the finality of death & hell, were all likewise consigned to that eternal flame.

So I sense that our interpretation of these passages may differ, which I'm happy to pursue.

Prayer for us to find a good Bible based church with true leaders of God, for God to protect us and give us all peace in Jesus Name.

I was brought up in a christian home, believed myself to be one but lived in complete disobedience to the word of God. I drank, fornicated, had relationships with married men, stole, fantasized about sex all the time and was just the most disgusting sinner you could think of. I had an abortion that really shook me but not for very long before I fell back into my sinful ways. I blamed everyone but myself for my messy life. in 2006 I met my now husband at work. He pursued me and we fell pregnant and got married, even though he was from another religion. We were happy at first until our daughter started getting sick almost every month. if it wasn't high fevers, it was flue, rash on her little body, ear infections, pneumonia. During this time, I participated in my husband religious prayers and ceremonies, very aware that I'm worshipping false gods. My daughter's continuous sickness brought me to my knees and I started attending church again. I repented of my sins and God saved me. This caused so much unhappiness within my home, my husband hated the church, always critized me and blamed my family for my change. My journey as a believer started in a methodist church but I left it after the pastor told me there's nothing wrong if I still attend hindu temple with my husband as long as I pray to Jesus. But that's a false teaching because we're to serve God in all areas. So I joined another church who was into healing ministries, speaking in tongues and all the charismatic garbage that went along with it. I served here for 6 years in the children's church and saw how so called holy spirit filled people, had extra marital sex, were disrespectful, forced compulsory tithing. God wasn't done because He gave me a love for his word and upon studying it I discovered that most of the things this church believed in was a false gospel. So I left here and God led me to a church that teaches sound theology. I praise God for his mercy. Im still married and pray for my husband's salvation.

We all feel like that periodically. Me too. I WAS "harming Christians with Astrology." Satan hates servants that walk out on him; as in give their lives and future to Jesus. Read your Bible in silence. "White noise" is not always helpful. Start in the New Testament. Find out exactly who Jesus is to you; what he promises to you. Proverbs are for Wisdom. Psalms to comfort your soul. 2 Peter 3, to understand we're running out of time. 1,2,3, John, how to forgive yourself.

Jesus is the 2nd Person of the Godhead ( Romans 1) and He says, Seek (ME) and you will find Him. He doesn't leave ussometimes we walk away from Him. Stay close and talk Out, to Him, what exactly is bothering you.

Honestly, Satan buzzes around us like moths do to a light bulb; trying to get us back. He just wants us dead. But he knows you are off limits now. ASK God to send a couple of angels to walk with you for a time and be your bodyguards.

Don't limit your faith. Ask for what you NEED. Not worldly wants.

I had a vision not long after I saw a Big Table loaded With all kinds of Food! Jesus was on my right at the head of the table. I was hungry and I was shoveling food at my mouth. He wants us to taste and see the goodness of the Lord.

We are to Edify each other, no matter where we are in our walk with Jesus. Depend on Jesus, and Holy Spirit. Prove all things through scripture.

The sin can be committed so why do you say God protects people from committed? What do you mean?

The Holy Spirit is Gods. Sent by God , the power of God . Of God . on and on . simple stuff .

For meditation. The Holy Spirit is God, and he is with God the Father and God the Son. If the Holy Spirit were not God it would be not be possible to blaspheme against Him. For those who blasphemed against the Holy Ghost the same cannot know forgiveness, because the Holy Ghost is Truth and is God. The Holy Spirit is the Power of God that no man or human power or evil spirit can manifest or claim to themselves. Extraordinary power by the Holy Spirit is of itself and not of man or other spirits. God the Father protects us from such possibility of blasphemy against God the Holy Spirit by God the Son whom came as a man and appeared as a servant where all and no where else, forgiveness can be found for a man if we believe by faith. The life and hope of the Son as a man could be rejected by man and later by repentance and remission of sins, forgiveness can be found, but knowing the miracles of extraordinary power of the Holy Ghost worked in the Son to resurrection of Life cannot be attributed to unclean spirits, as this would be a lie directed to God the Holy Spirit who is Truth.

Hi Ronald The book of Romans 1:18-23 Hits the nail on the head verse 18 who hold the truth in unrighteousness, I believe in God my way man either worships nature, self , others or a power based on intellect which is still self. This is why he is without excuse. All of what I mentioned is driven by the five senses which is our condition from birth i.e. lust of the flesh eyes pride of life. The unbelievers choose unrighteousness.

Hi Tony I'm curious about something you said God didn't Give Adam independance from Him that negates freedom of will Adam was given complete authority over earth to till it to keep it and a helpmeet to reproduce the only point that God made don't eat of the tree of knowledge of Good and evil. Except for that Adam and Eve had complete freedom of will, that changed when they were deceived and lost there spiritual connection with God and were subject to the will of the five senses. By the way that's how Eve was tricked by the enemy first His appearance then 1st step He got her to question what God said then to consider what he said then to add to what God said then to subtract what God said then at the end Ye shall not surely die when the true God said Thou shalt surely die. Then because of sin or broken fellowship that started there they lost the Spirit connection with God. Overtime they died physically from sin contamination the wages of sin is death, they because of disobedience lost the life quickening spirit.

Yes, Someone. Jesus renews you. He gives you new life when you thought yours was over. He renews your strength like the eagles. He is our savior, comforter, deliverer, and he is Lord.

Protais faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. So first we must have the word of God (which is the bible). Second we must hear the word( or read it). And third, we then believe the word or have faith. God bless you!
