You said: what's interesting when it came to rescuing Lot and his daughters is they were basically grabbed by the angels and dragged out (of Sodom and Gomorrah) ......
Christ is the ANGEL OF THE LORD, so all other angels would be in his image, both body and mind ( 1 Corinthians 15:49).
This same thing happens today:
John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up (on the cross) from the earth, I will draw (drag) ALL MEN to me.
We go about life; but at God's appointed time we are stopped in our tracks, and God drags us out of BABYLON.
John 15:16 You have not chosen me, but I have CHOSEN YOU.
Paul was going about his daily life, killing Christians, God stopped him and dragged him out (Paul did't choose, God chose).
ALL MEN; a few, in this age, and the rest after this age and the next age, WILL BE DRAGGED out of Babylon TO CHRIST.
1 Timothy 4:10 ....who is the saviour of ALL MEN (even the ones that don't believe in this age), SPECIALLY those that BELIEVE (in this age).
Does this mean if we do not have the law, we can't be held to it?
So if I never had the chance to read the bible or had some one tell me their is a God, am I going to be judged differently?
is this what Romans chap5 verse 13 means?
People today don't have the undeniable physical presence of Jesus Christ in the world. So they can't recreate the Pharisees' sinful event. But it's still possible to end up in an unpardonable state. This happens when a person rejects the Holy Spirit's call to salvation and holy living, and then dies in a condition of unbelief.
The stages leading to an unpardonable state are simple. An unbeliever chooses to sin, even though he knows it's wrong. He resists the Holy Spirit's gentle prompts toward conviction and salvation. Over many years, this hardens his heart against God. A time comes when the Holy Spirit makes no impression. Any desire for the Lord has dried up. No sermon or song can move him. His heart is hardened to the Gospel.
No sin can separate you from God's love. Only a conscious decision to reject the Lord can result in your spending an eternity apart from Him. Don't wait another minute to receive His offer of salvation.
But if we are continually faced with worldly offerings & our peers or the majority voice are readily accepting them, then it would take a very strong character with godly principles to withstand or even giving them any concession. And with the majority who might ridicule the resistant one, the pressure & pain becomes even worse. Praise God for His Word which reveals His Mind & so we know that our stand against evil has His affirmation, which gives us boldness & confidence.

Many Christians believe that when they pass away they will go to heaven. But Jesus spoke about our being prepared, because He didn't know when the last day would be. And here He speaks, 'I will .. at the last day'.
Myself, believing in the power of context, and mans obsessive ability to twist Scripture to fit what he wants to believe; it has me stumped.
I've spoken with several, who believe Scripture, but it's out of context to the Word. What is either before or after what they believe is God's Word, for them, is not what is said, in context.
Satan's mastery of my Father's Word, and his ability to twist everything to our liking is stoopifying. And guiding a Christian, to maybe look at it again, only brings his wrath, which is so far out of line with the Bible, a 'tilted-head, What?', becomes an automatic response.
Do not be misled, He says.
So, which which is which?
Dead and prepared? Or, dead and gone?
Right now he's into the trying times, becoming a marine, 12 wks of boot camp. Please let us pray may he call upon the Lord for strength and guidance , and wisdom..and endurance.
May the Lord overshadow him, and all the young men there...working so hard .
Romans 12.13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
And remember Romans 12.20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
We will complete the work in us who Hi have begun. Amen.
And 1 Corinthians 15:49-53, where "flesh & blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God", but when the change comes at the last trump, this corrupt flesh must put on incorrupt flesh & prepared for Heaven, that we might "bear the image of the heavenly".
And brother, nice to see you back here.
The Pharaoh (first mentioned in Exodus 1:8) & seen again in Exodus chapter 3 onwards, also cannot be verified. Either he was Amenhotep I (1546-1525 BC) or Thutmoses I (1525-1508 BC). So, to answer your question, it was definitely a different Pharaoh in Moses' day to the one Joseph knew. And of course, there were many Pharaohs in-between, at least ten pharaohs.
From my observation when in ministry in Pakistan, most Christians (like many of us in the West: some strong, some nominal in faith), will almost never share the Gospel with their Muslim neighbours or consider going into public places to reach them. With the nature of Islam, & specifically govts. which are increasingly adhering to Sharia Law or aspects of it, reaching out to Muslims or even making ill-considered references to Allah, their prophet, or the Quran, may get them into very hot water. So when we foreigners went into the marketplace (or the girls, door-to-door) to sell/give out literature & share the Gospel, the indigenous Church began to tremble. We were always warned, as the apostle was in Acts 21:10-14, to be very careful or better, to spend more time with 'us' to teach 'us', but it was for that purpose that we were there: to bring Light & Hope to many living in darkness & hopelessness.
As you correctly stated, there are many believers "seeded" within those communities, yet the very poor amongst them already suffer under the Islamic ruling, by not receiving electricity or water for their homes, kept segregated, & being held back from higher education. If we showed the "Life of Jesus" film to them followed by a message, we had to take our own electricity generator & lighting, for they could only depend on sunlight or moonlight to do their work, or homework for the kids. We had a special leading to such folk who always hungered to learn more of the Bible, but we knew that the Church at large also needed feeding. Pastors were present, but often they too needed teaching. So, I relate this to share with you that the Church (in Pakistan at least) needs to be more than just a visible entity but to be "the hands, feet & mouth of Jesus". We were trying to meet that need, D.V.
