God sets these fruit bearing tres on the third day.
" before the flocks in the gutters in the watering troughs when the flocks came to drink," Conception of the flocks did not need the flock of Laban who had kept them away on three days journey."And he set three days' journey betwixt himself and Jacob: and Jacob fed the rest of Laban's flocks."(v.36) Does the number Three have a spiritual significance?
The water in the gutters is especial. "; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."( Jn 4.14) Does it not evoke the man and woman and the Garden of Eden? The river went from Eden to the garden is an open valley so it serves the role of a trough. God did not require human parents to create Adam and Eve. Neither did Jacob need it.The same Sprit who organised the God document sets two similar events to be spiritually understood. The Spirit does not trivialise the holiness of God by 'breaking Covenant' as false teachers seem to suggest.
Jacob explains: "And it came to pass at the time that the cattle conceived, that I lifted up mine eyes, and saw in a dream, and, behold, the rams which leaped upon the cattle were ringstraked, speckled, and grisled./ And the angel of God spake unto me in a dream, saying, Jacob: And I said, Here am I./ And he said, Lift up now thine eyes, and see, all the rams which leap upon the cattle are ringstraked, speckled, and grisled: for I have seen all that Laban doeth unto thee./I am the God of Bethel, where thou anointedst the pillar, and where thou vowedst a vow unto me: now arise, get thee out from this land, and return unto the land of thy kindred."
(Ps.50.5)
"So shall my righteousness answer for me in time to come, when it shall come for my hire before thy face"
Here we have the kernel of the everlasting Covenant. What does it mean to be the blessed of God? Zion who has to live with daughters of Babylon shall see the glory of God."For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye." (Zec.2.8) God blessed but he was to live as a sojourner and pilgrim while 'thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies." Jacob sees the dream and understands the significance of Mizpah was in the mount' which the Spirit says can be seen to this day." And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen."(22.14-19) The name serves as a double for Zion as Bethel stands for new Jerusalem.
Here Jacob makes a proposition to Laban and uses this expression 'before thy face'. The spiritual meaning of face never changes. It sets his hire before God. "Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth."(Jas.5.4)At Mahanaim God presents His host to Jacob as the heir of promises. But in the house of Laban God shall instruct what faith would really mean. Everything there has a bearing on the blessing under the Covenant.
The rods that Jacob pilled or straked connect his action to the trees of righteousness "and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind." (Gen.1.14) "And he set the rods which he had pilled before the flocks in the gutters in the watering troughs when the flocks came to drink, that they should conceive when they came to drink./And the flocks conceived before the rods, and brought forth cattle ringstraked, speckled, and spotted."(vv.38-39)
Good morning! A morning meditation. If we know the Lord's peace who is the Prince of Peace, why would we leave his peace to war?
Before we move into the house of Laban and understand its purpose we shall go further in the two worlds of the Spirit and of the body. The latter includes the glorious body, a building of God the same he had prepared for his Son before the worlds began. So walking by sight is not an option but a perilous path. "and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat." God shall indeed send a whirlwind of destruction and make nation as Moab,"Moab hath been at ease from his youth, and he hath settled on his lees, and hath not been emptied from vessel to vessel, neither hath he gone into captivity: therefore his taste remained in him, and his scent is not changed."(Jer.48.11) What does he say? Drill, drill, baby drill.Such a greed shall not stand. There has to be separation as Jacob would make at Mahanaim."And Jacob went on his way, and the angels of God met him./And when Jacob saw them, he said, This is God's host: and he called the name of that place Mahanaim."
The angels of God see ever the face of God in heaven. The dream revealed to Jacob his true position is out there among them and not in the world given to changes. Jacob and Laban both tagged by the number Twelve , made the covenant as families. " and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed." (12.3) But the two bands of angels reveal the two nations of light and the other of darkness. In his prayer he says," for with my staff I passed over this Jordan; and now I am become two bands." (v.10)
This separation of light from darkness Gen.1.4 and we shall see in the visions of Daniel aswell where the name Ulai and Jordan refer to th river of time.
"And Mizpah; for he said, The Lord watch between me and thee, when we are absent one from another." The pillar set between two mount is called. Mahanaim or Mizpah our strength is not in accumulation of things,"I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."(Heb.13.5)
"Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?"
Acts 7:50
"Hath not my hand made all these things?"

Despite for instance Ruth being a Moabite of whom it is written will never have any place nevertheless she forsook her people her country and her 'gods' and followed after her mother is found in the genealogy of Christ . The prostitute of Jericho who hid the spies also found grace in the sight of God she too can be found there .
When we obey the gospel and put our faith in Gods good work of Calvary rather than our own works we are " counted righteous" and the Righteousness of Christ is " imputed" to us . Then the Holy Spirit imparts that righteousness by His indwelling and in consequence we begin to do righteous works as we walk in the light .
Mary His mother was a sinner also but she too was counted righteous .But this earthly body is still subject to sin and death so how can she give birth to a Holy child? The blood of any child is determined by the father and the blood of the as yet unborn child is kept completely seperated from the mothers blood for if they mixed she would die.
Jesus when teaching in a house was told his mother and brethren were seeking to talk to Him. He denied his flesh and said " who is my mother and brother etc? but " he that doeth the will of God"
It is easier to understand how I can be His brother if as He taught us " Our father" and can by the grace of God follow Him . But how can I be His true mother?
Mary the mother of His flesh not as some foolishly claim ' the mother of God' received the Word of God " let it be unto me according to thy word" and believed in the promise and in due time brought forth The Son.
He did not bare the image of Joseph but was the express image of the invisible God.
Do not we who are His receive the Word as a seed ( parables) it is conceived gestated and in due time produces fruit ? Or Christ.
We are BORN again of incorruptible
"And they did eat bread, and tarried all night in the mount.
The Spirit set this line 'tarried all night in th mount' to indicate there is breaking of dawn. Laban blessed his sons and daughters "And Laban departed, and returned unto his place." Jacob on his part was indeed blessed of God, the God of Abraham and of Isaac. 'Unto his place' is not where the living God has chosen for Jacob.
The Spirit sets a pillar for eternity foundation of which says, "Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity."(2 Tim.2.19)
The Spirit gives us two mounts, one which is Eden the Mountain of God and the other mount Sion.(Ezek.28.13-14;Rev.14.1) There is an open valley between. Having said these we have the war of kings in Gen.14.9-10 " four kings with five./And the vale of Siddim was full of slimepits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there" The Spirit sets parallel narrative like 'And there was war in heaven" to establish the two worlds between heaven and earth. (Rev.12.7) Thus the nature of this open valley is to be spiritually understood. Lucifer shall be sent down the pit as the king of Sodom finds his own pit. " For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:"(Isa.14.13)
"Now therefore come thou, let us make a covenant, I and thou; and let it be for a witness between me and thee./And Jacob took a stone, and set it up for a pillar." (vv.44-45)
In contest of the everlasting Covenant the Spirit arrays several covenant of which we have seen from the patriarchs and it was thus Jacob set up a pillar to commemorate the house of God at Bethel. What were these angels ascending and descending along the ladder? They are the great congregation that in the new heaven and new earth shall make up the holy city of God. As the risen Christ tells the church in Philadelphia it is called new Jerusalem."Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God," Everything is new. It is according to the word, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."(2 Cor.5.17) He has to overcome first in the world wherever he is placed that he has 'a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens./For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven."(2 Cor.5.1-2,7) So how do we walk? "For we walk by faith, not by sight."
Jacob representing the nation of Syria calls the heap of stone a name different from what Jacob calls. " And Laban called it Jegarsahadutha: but Jacob called it Galeed." How shall such a covenant stand, given the reprobate heart of Jaco's progeny?" King Asa of Judah forms an alliance with Ben-Hadad, the king of Syria, against King Baasha of Israel. Asa sends silver and gold to Ben-Hadad, persuading him to break his alliance with Baasha and attack Israelite cities."(2 Chron.16.1-6)
"And they did eat bread, and tarried all night in the mount." (v.54) Laban and Jacob set up heaps of stones creating a valley of sorts. The Spirit has a purpose of an open valley between Eden. mountain of God and mount Sion. (Ezek.28.13-14;Rev.14.1)
The names that the Gospel of Matthew so carefully preserves - from Abraham to Joseph. There is order there, and purpose.
Ephesians 3:6
Today, we are part of that same body, though in a different way: not by natural descent, but by the faith that unites us to the Son. John 1:12-13
Those who came before prepared the way for the One who would gather in Himself all who were lost. Isaiah 53:5
If the Body of Christ is made up of many members, then the genealogy is like the bone -
the unseen but essential structure of the human body. Each generation upheld the promise - even without fully understanding - until the promise became flesh. 1 John 4:4
For there lies the evidence that the Lord came not through angels, but through people - fathers and mothers,
the righteous and the unrighteous. Matthew 24
If we are His body, as the Scriptures say, then we are also grafted into that lineage - not by blood, but by grace.
Not heirs by right, but by adoption. And that, to me, is the sweetest form of belonging.
The genealogy of Christ is, therefore, a body - and in it, we were placed.
Mk 8.24-25Jesus healing the blind is narrated by the Spirit to establish that he is giving the example from the world of the Spirit. He did not inspire St Mark to write from the medical point of view but from the point of the Word. "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions." That is His goodness. Instead of believing in his Son and it is in him the fulness of God rests the false teachers have made man suffer needlessly. They dispense God's Covenant as one would distribute his business cards at the kerb to all and sundry. In such a generation of vipers and adulterers what they get is what they deserve.
Coming back to the healing. Jesus healed his spiritual blindness first and not other way around. Men whom God has called and set apart, as Jesus says see the face of God in heaven. "Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven." (Mt.18.10) these are the angels whom Jacob saw in his dream, ascending and descending. The imposter churches have purposely kept back the single measurement of man touches both worlds of the Spirit and of the body. The god of this world has blinded them so they do not rightly divide the word of truth. They divide the truth so they make evil good and good as evil. Is America blessed as these false teachers keep saying?
Be of good courage and even if we meet people who do not accept either the word or us. Because I believe that GOD is with us in all things if we allow it. He is there with His guidance no matter what, He is not the One who fails when we need Him. Imagine Jesus having to live with the fact that His mother probably did not believe completely in Him when He was there near and alive. But on the Cross she had to see it. There is grace in that too. Be blessed and strengthened in Jesus' name, Amen
Romans 5:1-5
Thanks, brother. If you wouldn't mind sharing your thoughts on Revelation 3:10-11, I feel it connects with verse 12. The one thing we must understand is that the great tribulation and the wrath of God are not the same thing. As we will see later in Revelation, there will be two resurrections; a rapture of the Church would make three. Why would the last of the Church be spared what all those in Christ from the beginning of the Church have not been spared? History has recorded their faith and the horrendous ways they were killed.
God bless,

Let me add for your guidance, "The Spirit here onwards is creating a narrative thread to explain, the truth behind "and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed." The 10 brethren of Joseph committed a crime in selling Jesus on whom falls the blessing of the heir of promise. He suffered unjustly as Jesus did. Jesus was sold for 30 pieces of silver while Joseph was sold for 20 pieces. However families of the earth do not continue either with Ephraim or with Manessah. In Jesus it picks up again where he gives a new definition for family. "But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?/And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!/ For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother." Mt.12.46-50 What holds these together? The number 12. Jesus chose 12 disciples to create a new family where 12 is a tag in heaven and 12 on the earth as well. Gospel of Christ doctrine of Christ as taught to his disciple make this number special. Even when Judas let we find the apostles casting lots to choose a replacement. How many were there in the upper room, 120. Frem them the riciple is to spread the gospel. So the principle of Association works this way:" He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me."(Mt.10.40) When you received Jesus you received God as well. " He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me."(Lk.10.16)

My understanding is the God gave the land to Abraham when He established His covenant with Abraham in Genesis.
We all; including myself need to be "wise as serpents; innocent as doves." ( Matt. 10:16). We must balance being obedient in service to our country whenever possible without being displeasing to God. That is the standard for those directly in harm's way now in our military; or us as civilians. We certainly should have a say with the "decisionmakers" when we can; although it seems things are bound to follow the current trajectory. We need to be wise in not falling for the narrative that is set forth to bring predicted and controlled reactions by those who would back that agenda. We must as Christians put the Great Commission as paramount; therefore helping those who are our "enemies" or may be hostile to us. I don't see this as an impossible contradiction; that is ensuring justice of unbelievers who God keeps under control through the law ( 1 Timothy 1:9); but still loving our enemies and not wishing harm on them. Many in all nations are caught up in what is going on.
As to wisdom when and where to flee to and how much preparation is needed let us all take that prayerfully to the Lord. We know that when push comes to shove there will be people who will try to break in and steal our supplies; food and money supply when things get desperate. We should have a plan for ourselves and pray for Him to speak to us when to leave; or whether to stay where we are. We should have resources for ourselves and prepare ahead to have some for other believers in need whenever we can get it to them as well as for outsiders. A practical suggestion is not to put everything in one place but spread it out and of course have a disaster plan.
We also need to trust God to meet our needs. Getting the whole family involved is also helpful as everyone will have to help. We can learn much from people such as the Mennonites on this subject.
I hope this provokes interaction; thought; prayer and perhaps fasting.

I will be praying for you. How concerning your condition is at the present. May you have peace and improvement over time.
The question we have living in the United States is what is appropriate and are we willing and able to absorb the "collateral damage" of such an event? This site isn't primarily for political events; but we should be aware that much money an influence that is not focused on what is truly right or genuine concern for others motivates the decision making in international affairs. It is a sad and conflated mess.
This transitions into the post I was going to get into today about how should we prepare as individuals and for at least short to medium range time frame for the needs of others particularly in the body of Christ but others who will need help with what appears to be an inevitable economic crash; food supply shortages; power outages and attack(s) on our nation? The Lord could rapture us out but given that He comes at a time we do not expect; I tend to think not for some time. I will get into that subject in a separate post.
In regard to the first paragraph it has been planned some time ago to war with a given list of nations by certain individuals I will leave nameless here from plans hatched or expressed openly since the 1990s. Iran is the last of the nations mentioned. Our miserable outcome of regime change can be seen by what is going on in Syria today; and repercussions in Libya. There is no reason to expect anything better in Iran at least if others are involved rather than the citizens themselves. My point to this and the last post is that there is blame to go around everywhere; and once wars go on there is more and more "wanton" killing as desperation to win and survive progresses. We have to soberly assess that very real threat in our nation once society breaks down especially with cell phone and computer communications. That is why I am writing this and other posts while we still have access so people can prayerfully put make wise decisions now.
I don't know much about Haifa but am aware that there has been a large (actually one of the biggest movements in the world) of gay activists in Tel Aviv. At least in part God may be bringing judgment more severely there because of their rebellion which has some shades of this in Revelation but also Isaiah 1:10 in regard to Jerusalem which could be extrapolated to this and like regions of sin.
The heart of the matter is where the Lord is exactly into His evaluation of the current "State" of Israel. A brief research into the subject shows that the British mandate and eventual Baflour Declaration in 1917 got the ball rolling to the eventual creation of the state of Israel in 1948. We see in Isaiah 66:7-8 prophetic evidence of this event; but we also need to keep in mind that men set up the current political state as well as dividing previous Arab and Muslim nations in what is the named countries of the "Middle East" today to a large extent. I am of the opinion that much as Israel of old; God will be with them if they are walking in righteousness and vice versa in disobedience. Given that a Christian cannot be a citizen in Israel unless they have Jewish background and the death sentence in some ultra Orthodox places along with attitudes of banishment from family as a nation they are still very hostile to Christ. I still hold to the general concept that there are certain actions that may trigger God judging sooner rather than later. It is much like God still at work in the church today despite the fact only a small remnant remains. Israel has yet to go through its greatest trial as the book of Zechariah and Revelation detail to purge those who are truly God's children and to restore the nation.
Jesus makes the blind look up. He sees men walking? Do you spiritually explain it or literally take it? God has given every one same faculties, and heart to know the truth. Either you are an instrument for good or darkness has taken possession. You may indulge in Jesus talk but it is merely eye wash. They are sent as missionaries to ends of the earth, and what souls care they winning if their own soul is damned?
"and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."
(Continued from the previous)
2."And they that sell them say, Blessed be the Lord; for I am rich:" "ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!"(23.16-19)
3."And their own shepherds pity them not"(v.5) " hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation./Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves."(vv.14-15) Finally we have Jesus quote: "For ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. Darkness still remains generations after generation and it is the face of the deep we live in it!
"In him was life; and the life was the light of men./And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." ( John 1.4-5) Without the true Light what does literalism and hypocrisy of flase teachers in our midst are we to be shocked at the level of false doctrines circulating about? Only Jesus Christ can help them. "And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking./After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly"( Mk 8.24-25)
"In thy light we se see the light."
Darkness was upon the face of the de
"For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven." (Ps.119.89)
Jesus Christ as a sign is the glass we look at so we are changed, " But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord."(2.Cor.3.18) How the Spirit has given a meaning say to a word as 'the face' cannot change. When Zechariah speaks of "Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul loathed them, and their soul also abhorred me,"they belong to darkness. It was upon the face of the deep. Thus it qualifies beyond the nation of Israel. We shall go from the specific to the universal sense.
Who are they? They lord over the poor of the flock. "1. Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty:2. and they that sell them say, Blessed be the Lord; for I am rich: 3.and their own shepherds pity them not."(v.5). They covenanted with Judas Iscariot so the Spirit clearly instructs us who are these, "and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the Lord." The just shall live by faith and they 'waited upon me'.
Now Jesus in his woe to ye in Mt.ch.23 refers to all the three. We shall compare athe Zechariah quote with the Jesus quote and apply to the present white washed sepulchres.
They lord over the poor of the flock." For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers."
Zech quote "1. Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty." "The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:/All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
2."And they that sell them say, Blessed be the Lord; for I am rich:" "ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing;
