Many of Paul's writings are commands, not his, but from the Lord. When he had a thought that he might write or speak that was not a command he sought permission.

Prayer should always be our first response to every situation.

Today I pray for you A heart free of sadness, a mind free of worries, a life full of gladness, a body free of illness, and a day full of Gods Blessings.

"It is better in prayer to have a heart without words than words without heart."The best is yet to be." - ...

"Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud." - ...

"Do good and good will come to you." - ...

"A positive mindset brings positive things." - ...

    "Positivity always wins ...

"When things go wrong, don't go with them." - ...

"Live life to the fullest and focus on the positive." - ...

Hi Andrew The word implacaple is irreconcilable or without natural affection Romans 1:18-32 is concerning people who know or are aware of the truth but choose to go against God. Hence verse 24 vain or empty in imaginations or reasonings then foolish heart darkened, verse 24 God gave them over they had a choice but they chose to worship themselves or nature or anything other than truth the end result is from verse 26-32. These are wicked people who will not change hence implacable or irreconcilable.
  • Baptism is an Act of Love, Worship and Obedience - In Reply on 1 Corinthians 12 - 4 years ago
    Baptism

    Mark 11:28-31, John 1:29, 36,

    ** Matthew 3:13-17

"And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness"

I truly believe that water baptism is an act of obedience. For me, it was a line the demons could not cross over to torment me anymore. All sin is bad. Satan is legalistic. If we sin ( Job 1), he's at the throne asking to sift our baby Christian faith. God will not allow it. We are in Christ Jesus. That is what our faith grows on.

First thing the Holy Spirit taught me is that the Blood of the Lamb, is more powerful than anything Satan has. If we can't even speak it out, our born again spirits can cry out to God and plead the Blood of Jesus.

Everyone has a moment to resist stepping out, to sin against ourselves and the Lord. We obey sin, OR, we call upon the Blood Jesus shed on the Cross.

I think most people don't perceive the daily battles going on in the heavenlies over things we get into, daily. That's what we give thanks for. May we not disregard the holy blood of Jesus. He's given us His Authority to fight back with. Parents, fight on behalf of your kids. The war continues. Complacency is heartbreaking. Don't let the devil take your kids hostage, your health, your marriage, your job, your extended world.

Collectively we have so much power to pool together in prayer: corporately. If we would just show up at church and decree in prayer over anything__change would occur. As it is written!! The PRAYER OF AGREEMENT. We live like orphans. Who is your Abba? God is my daddy. I love my Daddy more than anything. He loves me! We have daily relationship. I never forget His or Jesus's HOLINESS.

One last thing. Read Psalms and perceive the adoration, worship, trust, anguish of heart over sin, relationship, more. That's where love begins and continues.

Baptism screams, "I am my Beloveds, and My Beloved is MINE !! (Song of Solomon)

Matthew 25:31-46, Matthew 7:21-27, John 3:16, Isaiah 53, John 20:29, John 5:19-20, John 5, Here are a few scriptures to help you better understand who GOD is.

Hi Adam Most people can't understand or are blinded scripturally God is all powerful and all knowing but he also is the author of freedom of will and does not force his will on anyone or anything. The devil or satan is the one who wants to be like the most high only by manipulation, true God pure love false god lust of flesh product of his doing. All people have a choice either to do evil or good.

Second post about the veil of the temple . When the veil was ripped it exposed the fact that the mercy seat wasn't there . There is no mercy for Israel or for any one through the ordinances of the temple , the sacrifices and oblations cannot save Israel or any one else . From that moment Christ is the only way to God . The law cannot save , it only condemns . Christ becomes the mercy seat , we may approach God in prayer through Christ our Sinless High Priest .

As I'm sitting here drinking my coffee and eating breakfast I come to this comment and get so happy and the feeling of joy sets in my heart. I'll admit I haven't been there to much for my wife and family even though they've seen a change in me but God is working in me to have more wisdom in doing the things I need to do for my family which is give them time and love and a lot of patience with them. Even at times when I feel faced with difficulties in my own marriage that's when I have to ask Save my marriage oh Lord ! I love this woman so much and have not been the best husband but I know that trusting in God and understanding he ordained and sanctified this marriage is the key to making it work. I know it will get better within time. Finances will get better.

I've mentioned to her about speaking to the counselor, principle, teacher someone to address these concerns about the bullying so hopefully we can. I was bullied and I don't wish that upon anyone (mentally) it's draining and some kids can't get out of it but by the grace of God I was.

I'm in the counter at McDonald's most of the time and we'll I've been giving the opportunity just to give the seeds out to customers/employees. Maybe not full entire conversations but I've been learning when to open my mouth and when not to. There's times where I feel like I am a complete failure but I know that's when I have to seek him more.

Prayer means alot to me. Loving my God means the world to me. He's shown me his goodness and I try to reflect that upon others so they can to see the light of Jesus and one day ask where my hope relies on and well it's on Jesus !

Brother Chris, Sacha, and others that have dealt with all these trials and have been such an encouragement to me. Like I said I don't have to many friends nor brothers and sisters but I know my family is the family of our Living and Loving God and one day we will tell our stories to one another how we all overcame it.

    Many Blessings

The reason the veil of the temple , which shielded the mercy seat from view , was ripped open at Christ's death is because it was the barrier between God and man , which is our sinfulness . Because Jesus served God completely and never himself , the veil is not needed any more and we have access to the Most Holy Place through Christ who is our Sinless High Priest in Heaven who ever liveth to make intercession for us . Note it was ripped from the top . To me that means from heaven . If we continue in Christ , doing our best to be as much like him as we can be given our personal circumstances and limitations (we all have them ) then his perfect and willing sacrifice covers all our sins . We can rejoice and be thankful and do as much good as we can when and where we get the opportunity , confident in God's love and mercy towards us when we do fail (we all fail ) , because of what Jesus had done for us . Where does a malevolent evil spirit that gets to be in God's presence and makes us do all kinds of awful things that we wouldn't normally do because we are so good and nice (yes , that was sarcasm ) fit into all this ? It doesn't .

Hi Jonas In Gods word there are a few translations of the word know or to know according to context, one is the word oida which would be i know mentally that there is this being called God I've been told about Him. The other is ginosko experienced by some one born again of Gods Spirit. Example of first I know Romans 10: 9+10 but haven't done it, the other Ephesians 1 :18 The eye of your understanding being being enlightened that ye may know [I.E. experienced understanding God works in your life and you manifest that] what is the hope of his calling and what the riches of his inheritance in the saints.

A few days ago , I spied the most awesome vase of coloured Italian glass in a charity shop window , my first thought was : my best friend Jeni would go crazy for that . I thought it would be very expensive but it wasn't so I bought it for her as a pressie and I was soooo happy to be able to get if for her cos I know she will adore it . I've looked on line and it's worth several hundreds of English pounds . I have about 300 in my account . For one second I , I was tempted to keep it sell it and keep the cash . I , me , thought of that . But just for a second . I bought it as an act of love towards my friend , it cost me ten pounds . So , my original intention was an act of love . I was tempted , by my own desire / lust . My own greeed . Mine . I own it because it's my lust and greed . My friend will have her pressie . God will provide for me as perfectly and generously and lovingly and thoughtfully as He always has done . I want for nothing , but I do some times desire / lust for things that I don't actually need . To give in to my own lusts is sin . To serve myself is sin . I sin every day . Christ denied himself and served God perfectly . I'm very thankful that he did .

I think we complicate things , and I include myself . We complicate things when we bring some one or thing into our relationship with God and Jesus . There is One God , then there is us and then there is a beautiful sinless mediator between God and us and that is our Sinless High Priest in Heaven Jesus Christ the Righteous . We need a mediator because we sin . God can't even look upon sin . How does an evil supernatural malevolent spirit stand in front of God and talk to Him as if they were well acquainted ? We mystify and confuse our own selves : is satan tempting me ? No , it's probably some thing you really want to do , you want to do it but you know you shouldn't . That's our flesh talking ,our physical or mental or emotional desires screaming to be satisfied . It's not satan tempting you when it's some thing that YOU WANT TO DO . We complicate things by ascribing a mystical power to make is do wrong things and then we compound our own sinfullness by not talking responsibility for it . Not me though . I know that it's me that wants an extra glass of wine , it's me that wants a flashy new frock that I don't actually need , it's me who gets angry too easy , it's me that feels too lazy to go and ask my neighbour if they need any shopping , it's me . Just me . Serving myself not God . That's what sin is .

Where does God identity himself as Jesus ? He does not .

Where does Jesus identify himself as God ? He does not .

Where does the Holy Spirit identity himself as God or Jesus ? He does not .

The trinity is a big lie .

Where does it ever say God is of God ? It does not because that is insane .

But Jesus is the son OF God .

That is self explanatory unless you are a deceived trinitarian.

You can twist scriptures to match your insane beliefs.

But God is only God . 1 and only just as he said .

Think about it a little please .

Thanks I'm glad I'm not nuts like doctrine of trinity is !

Mary. 'Usury' is an older English word, which today we would refer to as 'interest' (e.g. gaining interest on an investment, or paying interest on a loan). In the biblical usage, 'usury' sometimes had a slightly negative connotation: one of excessive interest. In the Old Testament, the children of Israel who lent out money to another 'brother in the faith', was commanded not to even charge interest (whether in money or kind) on that loan, but to freely lend (see Deuteronomy 23:19,20).

I'm unsure whether that Law is still practised in Jewry, but in Islam (which could be similar to Jewish practise), this teaching is also apparent. However, banks & other lenders somehow obviate this ruling by introducing other conditions. Even when one purchases an item at a store, even though the purchase price tag might be evident, you're not actually paying the price asked, but putting a 'contribution or gift' (Hadiya: Urdu) towards the cost of that item. So, 'usury' & money matters that were strictly enforced in the past, are somehow altered by 'letter but not by spirit', so that the profits still keep coming in.

I was sorry to read that brother Arnold, but life's concerns happen to us all & in our case as believers, the Lord enables us to see the situation correctly & also gives us wisdom to deal with it. Your son, no doubt will recover & your daughter being bullied can be taken up with her teacher or principal. Your wife undoubtedly sees the difference in you & even though she may look at it negatively, how you treat her (even over & above what she expects) will certainly test her thoughts & feelings.

Your Lord & Saviour must certainly come first in your life - in everything you say and do. And your family come next, even before you can ever think of evangelizing others. They are the family God has given you & has given you to them. They are special & priceless in God's Eyes & I know they are to you also. Even if your wife may be at odds with you in various areas of your marriage or faith (& we all face this to some extent), she must never lose sight of the fact of your unflinching devotion, support & trust that you have for her. She must know you as her devoted husband and one who can rely on that special bond of love from you because of that special bond you have with your Lord. Your life, your wise counsel & care you give your family from the Lord, will speak volumes to them more than any coercion to be saved. Saved, they must be, but according to your witness, the Spirit of the Lord can work & will work through your life.

You have a great ministry right there at MacDonalds - not many jobs allow for such special interaction between employees. And these folk can approach you knowing they'll get a listening ear & practical help. I assume you're not at the front counter when it would be difficult to take orders & share in personal matters. Soak your family, your working life & your contacts in much prayer - and watch for the answers in the Providence of God. Just sharing the above as a reassurance that you are being used of the Lord.

You can not be rebaptized in Jesus name twice the thing is you need to stop sining stop playing with God turn from your evil ways God will not be mocked. The only way to be rebaptized twice is if you where baptized in the titles that is not the true baptism its not valid Acts 4:12 only in the name of JESUS is there salvation. We don't serve a God of confusion, its plain and simple it is written, this world wants to have the last word their opinion, philosophy, theory which causes confusion, let God be true and every man a liar.

Sanctified is set apart, holy. God sent JESUS who was sanctified for us. John 3:16

    Old Testament law

    Exodus 21, Leviticus 24,

History & today teaches us that a ruling body or a People that refuse to punish criminal behavior fairly: results in chaos, fear, injustice, revenge, distrust in leadership, distrust in policing forces, instability in communities & breeds corruption, & more crimes.

    1 Peter 2:13-17

Clarify for "they are sent by him for punishment of evil doers" "honor the king" to be lights, blameless

However if you're in USA we are the Governing force. "we the People"

GOD gave society laws to follow & punishment

JESUS gave example of forgiveness for individuals, religious, family & even examples of forgiveness in society. With those he said repent. Paul is an example of repentance.

    Hopefully that's helpful.

Thank you and I think you're giving too much credit to a fringe cult belief that very few believe and isn't supported by the Bible. One can only arrive at such creative interpretations through man's reasoning, not God's truth. Rather than read the Bible directly as truth it seems some try to come up with their own explanations for things first, then cherry pick whatever scripture that can be found to fit their belief. The red flag is someone trying to diminish the divinity of God, or to diminish the divinity of Jesus Christ, or lift up satan. It's amazing how sneaky and poisonous these false teachings are. Anytime someone does this it should sent the loudest sirens and emergency lights filling the air.

Most of the false teachings seem to come from logical fallacies and false assumptions. Some claim that since God is all-knowing, that we don't have choices or freewill, and that's an example of a false assumption. This starts with someone wanting to make sense of an all-knowing God, but in forming their belief end up throwing out many other scriptures that show that God clearly gave people freewill/choices to do good or evil and there's examples of God changing His mind. Is God not powerful enough to choose to live in the moment on our timeframe and change His mind if He wants? Of course He can. We must watch out for satan's lies and stand on guard with our armor on, as he is a pure evil being ready to devour us. 1 Peter 5:8
