Hi Lojay, Here is what the bible says [44] But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; ... [46] For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye?

Amen Grace. We know that God loves the children. He said to let the little ones come to him. Jesus even put one on his lap. God also said that a righteous person and their household will be saved. So stay in faith, and keep praying sister.

Yahweh I come before you on behalf of Ekpokoba Chukwuma Vincent. In Jesus name, I pray for a reunion of Ekpokoba's family. May you put it in their hearts that it is time to gather and communion with one another. In addition, we ask that you give Ekpokoa a greater desire to serve and worship you. Yahweh, make her cup overflow with your spirit. I pray all these things in the name of Jesus.

The KJV is claimed to be the inerrant word of God and superior to all other versions. I am curious as to why the KJV notes "corn" as a staple grain in biblical times when it did not exist in that part of the world until after Columbus discovered the Americas. Other versions of the bible use the term "grain" as opposed to "corn", which would be more accurate. Considering this; How can the KJV claim to be the inerrant version?

It occurs to me, that God, is the supreme leader of the Universe. He created the Earth, and will send an angel, or possibly Jesus Christ, his son, to gather up all of the lost souls at the end of the world's existence. All of the true believers will go to heaven, if their sins are forgivable.

    Dee,

I would like to echo what Brother Chris has shared. As he has shared, that word mansion is the Greek word that means dwelling place. Some believe that we will each get our own mansion in heaven someday, but unfortunately the word MONE in Greek never refers to "mansions" as we know a mansion to be. They are dwelling places.

But here is something that is interesting. The word MONE is only found in two places in John Chapter 14. Verse 2 and verse 23 are the only two places that the word is found. In verse 23, it is sort of like a bookend. Jesus starts out be saying, "In my Father's house are many dwelling places."

Now in verse 23, Jesus answered and said if a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our (abode/MONE) with him. Again, same word, MONE. So where's the dwelling place? It's right here. It's me, you, and every other believer who has Christ dwelling in them. We are the dwelling places. Jesus says we will come and make our abode with him.

Now in verse 2, it makes it sound like Jesus is doing that in heaven. But He has to go in order to come back. He can't send the Holy Spirit until He leaves. He's getting ready to prepare a place for us. But right now, we are the many mansions, or many dwelling places spoken of in John 14:2.

Precious friend, Good Question About God's Great Handiwork!:

Day 1: light divided from darkness Genesis 1:3-5

Day 3: earth to bring forth vegetation Genesis 1:9-13

Day 4: lights in heaven; a greater light {sun?} to rule the day

and a lesser light {moon?} to rule the night Genesis 1:14-19

Bible answer: "Yes," God Created the vegetation Before the sun!

Please Be Richly Encouraged, Enlightened, Exhorted, and Edified!

    ( 2 Timothy 2:15; Romans 16:25; Ephesians 1:3-9; Ephesians 3:9 = Grace/Mystery fellowship {Romans - Philemon}, God's 'Light' For ALL "to SEE," today,?)

The earth was first and in darkness verse 2 , then verse 3 God said let there be light .

Most people do not know the earth was in existence before even the stars . Therefore the earth is the centre of creation and not apart of a vast universe if you believe Genesis .

    Judge,

Day and night, light and darkness have other meanings other than we think of in this physical world. John 1:4-5 Romans 13:12. In day three, grass, herbs, fruit trees came forth growing and full of life in preparation of the other life that was to come for to be food. God is light as we see in Revelation 21:23-25 and Revelation 22:5 when all is new there will be no night, no moon, or sun, the glory of God will be the lighten and Jesus will be the light.

The sun and moon and the stars were placed in the firmament (heaven) on day four after the plants on this earth were thriving in day three so, what we hear things cannot grow without the sun or the earth would be a ball of ice, leave out the glory of God and His only begotten Son, the light that darkness/unbelievers comprehend not.

    God bless,

Chris Prophecy from the true God will always come to pass verbatim, prophecy from false prophets never does Jeremiah 23:21+22 so called prophecy from false prophets inspired by devil spirits will never come to pass verbatim. In 2 Kings 6 starting at verse 25 there was a great famine in samaria that in verse 31 the king blamed the man of God and wanted Him dead. Chapter 7 first two verses is a great example of revelation or future prophecy that happened verbatim from the true God.

I don't believe God restored Israel in 1948 . They have yet to Acknowledge Jesus as lord .

The promised land was given to the British after the ww1 , they defeated the Ottoman empire in war . The British where given the promised land believe it or not check history . The Ottoman Empire signed a peace treaty with The British and ceased to be a power .

During ww2 the Jews made deals with the British to help them win a war with Germany etc . The Jews got USA into the war and turned the tide big time . Shorty after Jews had a much easier time getting back home . The British won the war the Jews did not , or was able to defeat the Ottoman Empire .

The British did not pick a fight they just finished it .

Spoils go to the victor . Jews made business deals to enter a conquerored land .

The Lord does restore Israel of old but it happens when He comes back .

Good question Ready and on reflection Rick I love those great verses saying that you see the fruit and the value of it resulting from correct doctrine.

Not being legalistic and adding to the work on the cross and showing fruit Eg Not even judging others who are legalistic but loving them into the kingdom and toward the real truth.

    Hello Mishael,

If I may add a little perspective on Mark 13:30. And please know that I am not being argumentative as you mention you are not looking for an argument. I'm not looking for one either. I truly respect you for the things you share here and I always enjoy reading your posts. Thank you for that. You don't even need to respond back. I just want to share some info that I've learned on this word generation that is used here. The word in the Greek text is the word GENEA, and it has nothing to do with years. It means a race or kind of people. I'm not sure if you recall, but I remember that there was a group back in the mid 80's that said that Christ was coming back in 1988. They came up with this calculation from taking the 1948 date and adding 40 years to that. At that time, they considered a generation to be 40 years. So they took the word generation, and put 40 years to it and came up with Jesus returning in 1988. Well, that didn't happen. But since that time, there has been other groups coming up with exact dates of Jesus' return. They also believe that the word generation means years when that is not what the word GENEA means. It means a race or kind of people. In Mark 13:30 where Jesus said this generation shall not pass, the generation, (Race) He was speaking of is the Jews. What Jesus was saying was this generation, meaning this people (Jews), they are not going to pass away until all things are fulfilled. They are my chosen people, the elect.

Again, I'm not trying to be argumentative. and I don't expect any response unless the Lord leads you to respond. I just wanted to share this definition of GENEA with you. If it did refer to years, I would agree with you on the number 70. But then again, we've passed that date also. Have a very blessed day!

  • Adam - In Reply on Genesis 3 - 4 years ago
    Hi Earl,

I don't understand your definition of the word then. To help me understand, did you choose to type a response to me or did something force you to do that beyond your will? It sounds like you don't believe you have some kind of freedom to do what you want, but I can't relate to that, because I have complete freedom and that can be used for good or evil. I'm typing a response to you willingly because I choose to. Maybe you're not? If you feel like you're being controlled by another force against your will then there's probably nothing left to discuss on the topic, as I just can't relate and is hard to believe it.

    Joshua 24:15

    God bless...

Hi T. Lewis What you stated is absolutely correct many times in the old and new testament men of God did or told others what to do to Get Gods results and they did not question they just did it. Noah was told to build an Ark because the earth was going to be flooded by rain and until that time there is no record of rain upon the earth also he was given specific instructions on how to build a boat. New testament Jesus Christ ask the disciples how are we going to feed over 5 thousand with a few loves of bread and fish then told the disciples what to do and God supplied the need. In our day and time when we dare to believe whats written or told to us and act we can have the same results. I know a women who stopped in the middle of a teaching prayed for her son who at that exact moment had a loaded gun in his mouth pulled the trigger and the bullet discharged and turned into powder, later on he called his mother about it and she told him she prayed at that time and the result was him being born again. Our Job is to Let Go and Let God Work!

Your explanation that states "We obviously can't achieve perfection in this life but we can strive for these characteristics."

(Reference: 2 Corinthians 13:11) is not what I understand to be the case. According to the following references, man can be perfect; not in his own strength but in Jesus Christ: Deut 18:13, 1Kngs 8:61, Job 1:1 & 2:3, Ps 37:37 & 138:8. Prv 2:21 & 11:5, Lk 6:40, Jhn 17:23, Eph 4:13, Col 1:28 and Jas 3:2

    Perhaps my understanding is lacking.

The subject of the pre - trib "rapture" has been discussed even from the first century church. Proper research will show that Ephraem The Syrian spoke about this subject in one of his sermon's entitled "On the Last Times, the Anti-christ, and the End of the World" in 373AD. A translation of the sermon includes the following segment:

"For all the saints and Elect of God are gathered, prior to the tribulation that is to come, and are taken to the Lord lest they see the confusion that is to overwhelm the world because of our sins."

The rest of the sermon deals with the events of the last days, starting with the rapture, the Great Tribulation of 3 1/2 years under the Anti-christ's rule, then the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I believe in the pre-trib rapture, but I will be the first to say that this does not prove that it is correct, but just to clarify that the view of the pre-trib rapture is not a new subject to the church as many would believe. God bless everyone in your service to the Lord Jesus. Most important is for us to carry out is Matthew 28:18-20.
