Hello Carol. I can't think of any specific Scripture to fit the situation you've shared, as the Bible speaks generally about those who are righteous & acceptable to God, whom God receives into Heaven (both adults & children).

But if it helps, you can look at Matthew 18:1-10, where, in His discourse, Jesus spoke of little children & how we are to become like them; i.e. the innocence of children at that stage in life, whether or not they have been brought into the world legitimately or not. As you know, every person in the World is precious to God Who made us - and He has done everything possible to get His Word to us, so that we may know Him & be saved through His Son, Jesus' Sacrifice. So, the child who is innocent & without blame, even if its parents may have conceived him outside of lawful marriage, will still be acceptable to God (providing the child is still in the age of innocence). Once the child reaches the age (this age might vary) where it is conscious of sin, by planning to commit it, then the child is now accountable to God & needs to be saved - it needs to hear the Gospel & respond to it.

So, I believe that all children, before the age of accountability, are accepted unequivocally by God, no matter what their family situation might be, or the country of birth, or even the religious position of its parents. Rather, it should be of grave concern to the parents if they are in a sinful relationship, that they should set things right before God & all concerned.

You're Welcome Sony. I am very privileged to actually know and have had warm conversations with well over a thousand brethren. My wife (my best friend) knows way more personally. So online is more about quietly taking some time off and seeing what others are thinking and experiencing in their Christian lives. We live in No Ca near the Oroville dam.

Dear friend in the Holy Name if Jesus Christ.

Too understand the Holy scripture fully, i gess its not learnd in one day or two. And what it stands it stands.

Kindly understand that for about 2000 + years ago. Man and woman have a more separated works and today.

    1. The scripture is basic wrote by men, For Men.

    2. The Queen of Saba is the only woman who have some respect, and a high position.

    3. We have Ruth, Sara, Tamar. Elizabeth, Maria and some others.

    4. All others have ppl call for slave woman, whore woman, temtation and like that. Who is soo blue in theyr eyes that they dont see the devil? Whom let them run away and have a dream of a woman? Is it soo that they dont have a belive? Or what? Are some men sorry s..... Or folich?

    5. And i hope u are a christian man. If not please follow this website to get saved too day! Dont stay one sec more in the darkness.

    6. Many man have cause destruction too woman. And they are whoremenn as well.

    7. 1 Tim 5:14 is for a woman in a church. And i belive woman agree in that. No one vill stand alone in the war of God. Do they?

    8. Tit. 3:2-5 All woman i know in the church do soo. So what problem is this?

Remember dear D W L. That the Spirit is in whole, not only black letter on white.

    9. U know how can Crist marry a man from earth? How can Christ long for a man who suppose too be a earth man?

A husband and wife is one, please dont forget.

All things is for Him. He shall have the fully honor and glory. We who is the bride is bought for the most expencive blood ever!

No. He's talking about the Caught Up In The Clouds (rapture of the church).

Some have received Jesus as Lord and Savior; and others neglect "so great a salvation".

Some are ready to go, and others delay to make that eternal decision.

We must understand what Jesus is showing us in John 3 (for starters). It can't be clearer.

Apostle Paul met Jesus on the road to Damascus to kill more Christians. (Book of Acts) One moment he's a killer of Jews; the next moment he's born again. In his temporary blindness he is confronted by his own deeds and the reality of the Risen Savior, and his own desperate need to be saved.

Jesus said to all of us, Blessed are those who have not seen (Me), and have Believed.

Belief through the beauty of Faith is of great value.

Our human hearts are a Throne. Either we are sitting on it, or we decide to put Jesus on it.

We all have the ability to shove Jesus aside (to do a little more sinning).

Believe me, you will greatly miss knowing that Jesus is on that throne. You feel the emptiness in your soul.

We can change our minds and repent. Open our hearts to Jesus.

In my experience with the "on and off" period of being a new believer, you know when Jesus is on that heart throne. You feel His Presence and you hear his Voice. It is gentle. His voice is still and small; but powerful.

I still do lay my hand over my heart to feel His power and His strong love.

Does anybody else do this? I think I'm weird sometimes, but I cannot deny His Presence in my life. I hope for everyone to experience this.

    Wesley's Notes for Hebrews 9:27

9:27 After this, the judgment - Of the great day. At the moment of death every man's final state is determined. But there is not a word in scripture of a particular judgment immediately after death.

People's Bible Notes for Hebrews 9:27

Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. The fixed order for all men is to die once only, and to be judged after death. When they die, finality is stamped, on their life work.

    Hebrews 9

    25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;

26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

  • Women Making a Difference - In Reply on Isaiah 3 - 4 years ago
    Thank God for your faith.

You may be edified by viewing some of Iverna Tompkins videos on YouTube.

We are all people of these difficult times and days. Women need encouragement to evangelize the women who are needing it. I am not saying: revolution. We can all see of women in Jesus's life on earth, and all through the New Testament, who helped as they could and made a difference. Were written of, in the Bible. Hebrews 11

It's just as important to raise our children with confidence in Jesus, to walk with them too.

We're not orphans. We're adopted by the "spirit of adoption", and legal children of our Savior and King.

Carlton I appreciate your thoughts .

To me a friend or brother are close to the same thing , even a wife .

The bible says a friend loves at all times . My experience tells me that it's easy to just love online , and not have any real commitments to those on line .

On line is a good way to meet people but that's only 1 step in the process of finding people .

It can be too easily shallow , words are powerful and I think it's wise to be reserved on who we meet online . Until proven .

    Thanks

Dan , I appreciate your thoughts , but I see a neighbour as some one next to me .

To receive some one as a brother is more intimate.

Like taking a wife as well .

It says in proverbs , except two be agreed they can not walk together.

So the level is much higher for a brother , can we walk together? Having not seen their walk ?

I tried online dating years ago and because of distance , it never worked out , even though I loved them on line . Pictures phone called etc .

    Sony,

This scripture pretty much sums up how God wants us to treat our brothers and sisters.

    Matthew 5:43-48

43Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. 46For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 47And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? 48Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

    God Bless.

We are not given a description of the tree and it is most certainly not any tree that exists today. It is traditionally depicted as an apple tree.

It was a Fig tree. It was the closest to Adam and Eve. Genesis 3:7. And the eyes of them both were opened, thy sewed fig leaves together, and made them selves.
  • Brother dan - In Reply - 4 years ago
    Sony,

Are we not all children of God?

If yes, then are we not all brothers and sisters?

Is Jesus Christ everyone's brother? Did Christ say he came to save the unrighteous?

Can someone be unrighteous today, but repent and become righteous tomorrow?

We should judge not, lest we be judged.

We are supposed to Love All, and let Jesus/God be the judge!

    God Bless.
  • Remember to Keep Holy the Sabbath Day - 4 years ago
It seems that many people today deny that the world was created by God.

Even many professing christians forget or just ignore to keep Holy the weekly seventh-day Sabbath, which God implemented for memorializing His creation. It is the 4th commandment, and God asks us to make sure to remember it.

    Exodus 20:9-11

9Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

How can we honor God today, and prove to Jesus that we really love Him?

    John 14:15

"If ye love me, keep my commandments."

    Happy Sabbath Day!

Dear Hope , there is so much that can be said about Jesus and the things that were revealed in the New Testament regarding women . How about the lady who had had an issue of blood for twelve years ? She should have been at home in isolation because her condition meant that she was pretty much permanently unclean , instead she mingled with a throng of people and touched Christ's garment . What was his response to her ? Is this in any way connected to the events in Genesis and the curse that was put on women because of Eve's sin ? I could say more about this and other signifant instances regarding women but I'm not going to . What's the point . May God bless you my sister in Christ .

Dear Sony, I agree that we really need to be able to greet one another and fellowship in person to know how things really are. But we can by faith and goodwill reach out to others by writing our thoughts and reading other's thoughts. Regarding the use of the word "brother" for me it is ok to use the title if one likes by giving confidence that we are in the same race. However, to really know a brother in the faith our lives must be proven together. Where we examine together whether be in the faith once delivered. When a smaller body of believers believes together that they have searched their lives together and believe they have peace with God and man, then they can be of a communion spirit. Hereby we can truly remember Jesus as our Savior and share the cup and the bread in unison. This healthy body can prove together new members born again testimonies, they can sing praises more clearly, they can both literally and spiritually wash each other's feet. I am not at all offended in the words used in a salutation if they are kind. I like your thoughts. It is very difficult but sometimes rewarding to move forward as brothers of peace in Christ Jesus on a website where we can trust that we are on the road to Emmaus conversing together while Jesus draws nigh unto us. Finally it is a short walk, truly only Jesus knows our hearts. Do we know Him, does he know us? Love to all brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus.

That is a question that has been asked for ages. Some feel that the devil knows your thoughts, while most others don't.

Scripture does not give a definite answer on that subject but scripture does indicate that not only the devil but some angelic beings have access to one's mind _ Acts 5:3 Satan filled the heart of Ananias _ Luke 22:3 Satan entered Judas _ Matthew 1:20 -25 an angel came to Joseph in a dream _ Genesis 31:11 an angel of the Lord spoke to Jacob in a dream. One can argue that to have access to one's mine doesn't mean they can read your thoughts.

    And there are these scriptures

Job 1:7-12 Satan before God discusses Job and the amount of access he can have to Just.

Ephesians 6:11-16 discusses to put on the whole armor of God and to *quench* the fiery darts of Satan.

James 4:7 tells us to *resist* the devil and *he will flee*.

1st Peter 5:8 tells us Satan is like a roaring lion *seeking* whom he can *devour.*

Revelation 12:10-12 the devil stands before God day and night accusing man, and woe to the inhabitants of the earth the devil has come down.

Scripture is clear - Jesus knew one's thoughts even while in a flesh body Matthew 9:4. To Jesus the spirit was given to him without measure John 3:34.

I believe Satan and certain angels have the ability to read some of someone's thoughts and Satan, being the accuser is allowed to influence those thoughts. I feel Satan and the angelic beings who have access to any thoughts of the minds/hearts of mankind are given a limited measure, unlike God who has full measure. Example what I'm going to eat for breakfast or what type of clothes I'm going to wear any given day isn't something they would need access to or even care about. But the part of the mind our decisions are made against good or for what we know is right, Satan knows our thoughts.
