That's the one! Thank you for replying. I pray that over my son (Cliff) for years, concerning people he loved dearly that died from terrible accidents. Everyone in his life are all Christians! I know he still blames God.

God CAUSED Joseph to have a silly little dream and to tell his brothers about that dream.

Thankyou for the lovely comments. Like you, I have been reading the bible for a very long time, 41 years in fact. I also like to read commentaries because every now and then, I pick up a fact or two that had completely eluded me. If the commentary is not correct or unholy in any way, I rely on the Holy Spirit to give me discernment as to what to do --- usually ditch and forget. I tend not to get so carried away with the Greek & Latin meanings and leave that to other erudites who have nothing better to do. We must all focus on Jesus because he will lead us, now, and at the end.

For myself, I can never get enough of Christ and am constantly wanting to learn. God Bless you.

I would love to discuss this lovingly, I am born again and I do my best to walk in the Spirit and I pray when I study to be led by the Holy Spirit. I was in a church in my early life but not saved until my forties. I have been to many different denominations since, and from what I have seen, this creed is placed above salvation that is only through Jesus Christ and placed as the foundation of Christianity.

Isaiah 7:14 Immanuel means "God with us". Another understanding, when the first Adam sinned God could no longer dwell in man. Jesus, the last Adam, on the cross repaired what the first Adam did, God can again abode/dwell in man. In Jesus through the Holy Spirit God dwells in us, now God is with us.

John 10:30 answer, John.17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

John 1:1 The word was God (in the beginning) God has no beginning or end so, what beginning? Is this beginning of everything or is it a prelude to Jesus's ministry that John repeats in 1 John 1 the declaring the Messiah has come in the world? I do not believe Jesus was created. Is there anyone living that can say how Jesus was begotten? Does not a word have to be spoken before it is a word?

Philippians 2:5 answers Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. If we read a little further we see why ( Philippians 2:8-9)

I can go on but my question is; why has this creed, the trinity doctrine, developed four hundred years after Jesus by the Roman Catholic Church that is responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths, has become more important than the gospel of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Do you believe if someone does not accept the trinity doctrine they are not saved and are not a Christian?

I have been asking our Lord God to give me and my family peace love and joy and God is sending people which are really nice encouraging me and also God is giving me signs that he is working. Recently became compelled to come to christ at the age of 55, asked Jesus to save me some years ago but didn't take time to read and develop a true relationship with him. For some reason which I have no clue I've recently been taken over with the desire to read and follow everything i can get hold of about Jesus and have been praying several times a day. Although I know I have to walk away from the world and it's ways, I am saddened and struggling because I have a lot of good memories mixed in with all the 55 years of living in the world and need to know how I can turn my back on all the fond memories even though Jesus expects it. I would like some insight if I may. I have been a Christian going on three years. And as of recently I read a book entitled Absolute Surrender by Andrew Murray which changed my life and gave a lot of clarity on what I was doing wrong in regards with living a Christian life. I know that I am a child of God and I know my purpose in life is to be an instrument of his will and to be a light that shines in the darkness. I strongly have been convicted but in seeking him more I'm studying his Grace, Love and the Fruits of The Spirit. I know if i'm made perfect in love then I have peace and that peace that passeth all understanding is in my heart with Christ my Lord. When it comes to be unequally yoked with my spouse I understand that I am to be at peace with all men and if I am then I also have fruit as we'll. I am finding it very difficult to live with my family who are unequally yoked and still share the deeds of this world. It's very hard but if I understand the word that if his grace is sufficient for me then that's all I need and also to understand that true love and pure love casts out all fear. So why do I feel bad in participating with either watching TV with her or my kids, movies, family gatherings etc.... ? I ask the Lord to show me how to love like Jesus, Talk like Jesus, Walk like Jesus, but how do I converse with family members or even friends who are in spiritual darkness? I know it says that If I am light I should have no dealings with the darkness but how can I ever lead my family or friends to Christ if I am not willing to take time to be with them. I've learned when I am in these situations I keep praying in my head and it really helps. But I love my wife and I know that Gods sovereignty was that we be together but it's hard you know and it can be very very draining. Any advice. I want to serve my God first but also share the love of Jesus. TY

You have hit on the very reason I never ever read commentaries . I just keep reading the Bible , everyday for the last 27years . Slowly I connect the dots , it may take me a while but I know for sure that they are my dots , I connected them , I can unconnect them if I find out that I've made a mistake and I'm certain I still have a way to go but I'm convinced by my own studies , of my own beliefs . We are all on the same path , some of us are walking , some trotting ,some sprinting , God willing we shall all reach our destination and see each other there .

Dear Joe , please do not torture yourself . You know there is always forgiveness with God . He understands that some of us are able to live in this world as single celibate people and some of us are not . He knows you and the lady that you love . My husband was married and divorced before I married him . His wife commited adultery more than once and with more than one person . He fought to keep his family together but in the end had to admit defeat . You and your lady need to be very very sure , of yourselves and of each other . I believe my husband and I were made for each other and we both had to go through our trials and tribulations before we met each other , in order to become the people that we fell in love with . As a young man , he would have scared me and as a young woman I would have been far too insecure and timid for him . We grew and changed and we are still doing that but now we do that together . Pray to God together , ask for His guidance and blessings and forgiveness and then wait a short while for the answer . If you are meant to be together things will go your way and you will be blessed as a couple . I wish you both lots of love , from God and Jesus and each other .

god (spirit) is sovereign; god leaves no part of his children being brought to perfection (image of god), to mans supposed free will.

we all make choices thousands of times a day; but there is always a cause that made you make that choice.

Please pray for the Lord's presence, hope, love, grace, mercy, help, blessing, favor, anointing, deliverance, complete healing , salvation, peace, comfort, provision, increased finances, promotions, good health, success, safety and God's rescue and hedge of protection and Warring Angels around me, my children, my grandkids, our homes, cars, jobs, health, minds, lives & for God protect and save all my children and grandchildren and me and fight all our battles and for God to bless me with a house to own that is big enough to accommodate me, and the desires of my heart being fulfilled, and a saved sanctified man of God that would treat me as Jesus would the Church & never uses public to manipulate embarrassing emotions he have but to care and protect me, respect and love me, be faithful, committed and marry me & stay married until Jesus comes in the rapture. Hello, not sure if I'm understanding your view correctly, but it sounds like maybe you don't believe Jesus is God. I do understand people's different viewpoints around this, because God the Father is just referred to as God in many cases. For example, Son of God in the wording suggests that He's not God, but the Son. However, that isn't the whole picture- as there's so much Bible verses showing His divinity and it would be hard for anyone to deny that Jesus himself was called God and scripture says He was God in John 1:1.

1. Isaiah 7:14 - People called Jesus Immanuel which means "God with us"

2. John 10:30 "I and my Father are one."

3. John 8:19 "if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also."

4. John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

"Word WAS God."

5. Philippians 2:5 - 2:8 "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:"

"equal with God"

6. John 1:3 - All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Jesus made everything.

7. John 14:10 "Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works."

"And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God."

"Let us make" - plural.

What I gather from this is they are different but the same. We will probably never 100% comprehend this until after this life. The Son is not the Father and the Father is not the Son, but it says they made everything together, are in each other, have similar form, they both have great power to do miracles, and both are referred to as God in the Bible.

If I may ask a question, I respect your knowledge of scripture. Jesus is the Son of God the beginning of creation, He is the first and the last, and His name is above all other names that are named and through Him, all was created. After His resurrection, God placed Him above all, until He puts every enemy under His feet, and we know that is death, ( 1 Corinthians 15:25-28).

We do see in ( Romans 8:3) He was sent in the likeness of sinful flesh, but there was not any sin in Him as was the first Adam when God formed him. The way many use the word Godhead, which is the same Greek words for divine, divinity, and divine being, gives the impression that Jesus could not sin. If Jesus was unable to sin what did He defeat? ( Hebrews 2:14-19)

The covenant had to be fulfilled in the flesh that was capable of sinning to be able to break the curse of sin. Jesus coming and what He suffered for us was the will of the Father. We even see in ( Matthew 26:39-44) and ( Luke 22:41-44) being in agony asking the Father if there is another way, but not the Sons' will but the Fathers.

Can't we know and accept the divinity of Jesus, as the Son of God, His name above all names, Him (Jesus) who now holds the authority overall, by God placing Him above all, Jesus is Almighty, ( Revelation 1:8), without saying He is God, which is called a mystery and confuses many? What I see and hear from scripture, there is God the Father, the Son of God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, all are one in the will of the Father, and we as the servants of Christ, and through Jesus, we do the will of the Father and are one with the Father. Am I wrong?

I do not want to cause strife, this is just a seriously honest question asked out of love.

While living in adultery, it is hard too say what I have forfeited in my relationship with Him, let alone the family! Marriage is right at the top of his list, being the family, that he has joined together . Divorce should never be taken lightly! It is only by His extended grace under His conditions, conditions we usually find after we have made our decision. Marriage should never be taken lightly!

She wanted the divorce then changed her mind and I kept it going out of shear frustration and I had also committed sin with a relationship. I since repented and have been single for 3 Years. I met a Christian woman got to know her, this time I waited and asked her to marry me and we are waiting until next year. I have been seeking the Father about this for sometime as to not put her or myself in a position of unforgiveness. I really Love her but I Love God more!! But he Loves me more!!
