Is that in a title to something you're reading from a church?

You just want an argument. I spent my time volunteering, studying the scriptures, freely; to help you. To point out scriptures for you to clearly show you GOD's infallible WORD points out the earth being round & rotation around in orbital circuit) before science ever could imagine. I am actually very interested in interstellar activity & scientific planetary discovery. We follow it rather closely. That's why I was quick to jump at your questions. (while everyone else skipped it)

The more I study GOD's WORD the more I am in awe of how much it really does say about space. I just recently found the scripture that I noted earlier That the heaven belongs to GOD but the earth ._to/for man. I would love to see a base on the moon & other planets, however that scripture hit me hard. It is GOD's not man's, what an amazing privilege to allow us to explore, yet very difficult, costly etc. i.e. The spacesuits needed for the moon trip won't even be ready for the scheduled & approved, expected missions of 2024! The more I study & witness history I've seen the Bible doesn't contradict science, science over time ends up proving the Bible is true & even logical reasons for GOD's laws.

Whenever you really would like answers for questions in life, the WORD, prayer, truth = we are here 24/7

Genesis 1:16 Just refering to God making lights in the firmament of heaven, not a word about space

1 Cor 15:14 Nothing to do with space

Genesis 2:4 Not related at all

    Psalms 115:16

16The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD'S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

"the lack of breathable atmosphere, radiation, medical complications?"

What? Scripture is not for private interpretation.

None of the rest of the verses have at all any implication of space, please point me the exact words or phrase, where the existence of space is even remotely implied. I will point you to exact words where space is outright denied, in a second.

But some of the verses you provided actually hint at the solid nature of heavens.

    Isaiah 40:

"Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?"

First of all, not a word about other planets, second "meted out heaven with the span". It's impossible to measure something with a span that is not solid.

Job 22:12 Is not God in the height of heaven? and behold the height of the stars, how high they are!

Space has no height, it stretches in all directions, solid heavens have height.

Joel 2:10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble

How something not solid can tremble?

Now I assure you, there's plenty of scripture that directly states, that the earth is flat, unmovable, and there's no space or other planets, but I would like you to debunk first this one please:

Gen 1:6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

    Where are the waters above?

    Hi Damoah Samuel,

Sunday is the first day of the week.

The Holy Sabbath Day is on Saturday, the last day of the week.

God made the 7th day the Holy Sabbath Day in the Garden of Eden.

    Genesis 2:1-3

1Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. 2And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

    God Bless.

Good afternoon Brother Earl, I like hearing about your life and your old country and farming. Did you mostly grow cotton? Some cotton is grown here in the North Valley, but I think it has to be quite separate from other crops. My son these days, after his daytime job heads across the valley and jumps in a shaker and starts his day all over again. Almonds are nearly over and Walnuts, Field Corn, Rice and Alfalfa are happening too. I am sorry that the old colonists Mennonites keep to themselves. I am not surprised though. There are likely some Charity fellowship groups in your area that are a bit more interested in thinking of eternal life. The nearest Churches like mine are in Dalhart and a very small group in Fort Sumner, NM. Church of God in Christ-Mennonite. We have many friends that are

a part of the Charity fellowship some very close ones just moved from our area to east of Austin a few weeks back. By chance I have German on one side too but no Mennonite, I think they immigrated ahead of World War 1. On the Scottish side we go back 10 generations and most were Farmers! Love to visit in person with you. Do ou still live on the farm? You mentioned your daughter once, is she nearby too? Three days a week I work all night long. The other days I can work in the day! Was a lot easier before I hit the sixties. Might take more meditation forme on the other subject.

Hdhdhd ASK: How do you ask god for forgiveness

    Reply: Matthew 6:9 saids,

... therefore pray ye: Our Father which art (are) in heaven, Hallowed (Holy) be thy (your) name.

    ( Psalm 83:18)

Matthew 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

(sins is like being in debt- Romans. 6:23, )

    Jesus explained further About forgiveness:

    Please read Matthew 6:14-15

Does this mean we can go on a shopping spree of immorality or do what God

hates because our debts are paid off ( Hebrews 10:26,27). no, we work to stay out of debt.

    How?

    1.Prayer ( Matthew 6:9,13; Matthew. 26:38,41)

    3. Study ( Matthew 4:1-13 "written"; 2 Timothy 3:16,17; Romans 15:4)

    4. Avoid the cause and those who practice them. if can't...

    #1 will help. ( 2 peter 2:9; 1Corinthians. 15:33; 1corinthians 6:9-11)

    Hope this is helpful

Hi Brother Dan , I understand exactly what you mean about Paul , though I do feel we should try and put him and his life and teachings into some kind of context . Remembering that he was originally a very devoted and zealous Jew and he has to do his best to try and help all these congregations that were mostly made up of heathens from all over the world and who were previously all kinds of idolators etc , he has a very tough job . There is no doubt that he was a chosen vessel of Christ's . From my own experience I think that we are the problem when we take his instructions as commandments and are too dogmatic about them e.g. his personal beliefs on marriage etc . I love many of Paul's letters so much and I think that all we need to do is put them into context and remember that Christ did choose him .

RESPONDING TO Victor Anyanwu on Philippians 1 asked...

An unsaved person told me yesterday he was told "there is nothing like rapture" Is it true?

You are replying to a comment by "Victor Anyanwu"

    Hello Victor,

    1 Thessalonians 4:13-17

verse 16: these Dead in Christ shall rise first. for example:

    1. ( John 11:11) Lazarus he died again

    2. ( Acts 7:55,59, 60) Stephen after saying this, he fell asleep in death. (the vision he saw was in heaven)

    3. ( 1 Corinthians 15:6) 500 seen Jesus appear after his death. but some of

    them died.

    4. Some of Jesus apostles died of old age, most died under roman oppression (by the "ad." "c.e." Jews)

(they were put in prison like Paul as you brought out in Philippians 1), some died in captivity.

Verse 17: Those alive or remain will like Jesus will go to heaven.

( Revelation 14:3/ 144,000). notice the first died. if the second is to be caught up together with them.

they will have to die from flesh...to be taken from earth. ( Acts 1:9,10; Revelation 20)

so no... rapture is not a word in the bible. when Jesus was impaled the scripture said

after that his spirit ( Matthew 27:50 invisible/ john 4:24) yielded up. no human can see the spirit.

    ( Jas. 2:26)

    Hopefully this helps

    Lily Mcallister on John 1

Is the Holy Spirit a person?

    Jehovah's is a spirit ( Psalm 83:18; John 4:24). and he made his Angels spirits ( psalm 104:4);

and he blew his spirit into Adam nostril "the breath of life." when a men or human dies, his breath goes out. and the spirit returns to God (not the flesh itself.. because the body is flesh made from dust - Genesis 2:7).

the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, these qualities is his spirit. this he has created men in his image to display these qualities to take care of the earth. -

    Galatians 5:22,23

According to Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus said go therefore baptizing in the name of the father, the son and the holy spirit (the accurate term is holy spirit because John 4:24 accurately says spirit). Also, Jesus is not God ( John 5:19) but he was raised up as a spirit again; and he is a Angel.- John 14:28

Point: God can give his spirit to anyone to serve his purpose- Luke 1:35. if we worship God, we must worship with spirit and truth- john 4:24. anyone who want to worship in truth...should believe in the word of God ( 2 Timothy 3:16,17). by this God will give his spirit and truth will speak.

To illustrate: person 1, person 2, and person 3 are all different people. God will and can give his spirit to person 2 to carry out a particular task. God may want person 2 to completes that task fully. he may use person 3 or person 1 to do something completely different or accomplish the same purpose. (so yes the spirit basically belongs to God, because he is a spirit and the source of distributing that spirit to accomplish his purpose.- Genesis 1:1,26,27 ). no human can force God to do this or that. he is the boss of the spirit.- Isaiah 43:11-13

    hope these scriptures help.

The very fact that we have a Father and a Son begs the question of a Granson and an Israel of God,That was the great Promise that Christ wd be multiplied as the stars of heaven. And the Father swore by his very self , Thats y the sower of that good seed wants to sow his seed in our hearts. That it might initiate a heavenly Birth of Christ in us which is The Child of Promise the H.G. They don't call him the bridegroom for nothin, He has a seed to sow in humanity which is the very seed of God. To whom the word ( his seed ) came it made them Gods ,Thus he multiplies after the God kind as he says that which is Born of the spirit is spirit. Jesus said that satan is the Father of the tares b/c he sows the tares ,Thus Christ is the Father of the wheat simply b/c he sows the wheat which is the GOOD SEED That LIVING BREAD from heaven A baby Christ ,Unless ya receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child etc which is the H.G. Thats y Isaiah refers to Jesus as everlasting FATHER , Jesus is truly the Father of the H.G. As the H.G cannot be born in our hearts without his seed the living word ,The H.G. Fell on them that heard his words his seeds . Jesus said his words are the very seeds of the Kingdom and the Kingdom being the H.G. Even in the natural a pregnancy has to precede a birth i.e. some one who is born from above has to have birth a Child which is the H.G the Child of PROMISE. Its just like Jesse,David and Solomon Father Son and Granson thats y Jesus tells David that he is the root and the offspring of David, Which was father son and Granson and God wd only let Solomon the Granson build the temple not any other not even David the son. Its that Granson (the H.G ) that comes out of Christ loins that is gonna build the temple with in us. As our bodies are the temple of the H.G. That new born babe desiring the sincere milk of the Word is the H.G. the Child of Promise from the seed of Christ. There cannot be an ISRAEL OF GOD without this Father Son and Granson scenario.

Romans 8:29 Precious Annie, hope this helps. Our Precious brother Sadler wrote:

"Think ahead one million years into eternity and look at our trials from heaven's point of view. From that vantage point, if you were to look back at the seemingly end-less trials of this life, they would seem as brief as a moment. Yet, these momentary afflictions work for us an eternal weight of glory.

Again, looking at our trials from heaven's point of view, thinking ahead one million years into eternity, and then looking back at the afflictions in this life which seemed too heavy to bear, they will seem light as a feather. Yet these light afflictions, work for us a far more exceeding weight of glory."

Hi Shayne, that's an interesting idea of body, soul, spirit being like the trinity. But do these really align perfectly? For example, is God always a body? and which of the triune God is always a body, Jesus? But scriptures (like the one you just shared) show that physical body was only a temporary thing for Him being on Earth. Matt 27:50 says Jesus gave up His spirit when He died on earth, showing that He too is a spirit. Also, God the Father or possibly a trinity also came into physical form too, when He wrestled with Jacob, for instance. Genesis 32:29. Also the LORD appeared to people in the old testament: Genesis 18:1-33. And who is the "LORD" of the old testament? Jesus, God the Father, the Holy Spirit, or triune God?
