In my personal walk with the Lord, because all of our walk with the Lord is personal, I ask that his will is done. and in asking his will to be done in my life he gives me his spirit to ask him of his wisdom. What a great GOD we serve.

In verse 26 it says that God is the strength of my heart and my "portion" forever. What does "portion" mean in lay terms?

When was satan cast out of heaven in the bible? Scripture to back this up. Is chapter 13 in revelations historical? Scripture to back up. Is satan still allowed to talk to God about the body of Christ in condemning them? Scripture please.

Brother Mishael, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

Revelation 16:12 .... that the way of the kings of the east be prepared.

Revelation is the REVEALING of JESUS CHRIST.

I BELIEVE the kings of the east represents the BORN AGAIN.

Revelation 5:10 And hath made us unto our God KINGS ....

Matthew 2:1 ....and there came KINGS from the EAST (to worship) ...

It's hard to apply countries to Revelation, because in the last two thousand years anyone living at any given time could make Revelation fit their TIME.

Look at Revelation how it FITS CHRIST.

    Food for thought, SPIRIT reveals.
  • Earl Bowman - In Reply on Romans 8 - 4 years ago
Sister Annie, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

God is SPIRIT, spirit can not be seen.

God (Spirit) wanted children (sons and daughters) of God; but he wanted them to have a BODY.

God spoke Christ (the Body) into existence. All the FULLNESS of SPIRIT (the Father) dwells in the SON (BODY of CHRIST).

Revelation 3:14 An unto the angel (Christ, the messenger of the Father) of the Church .....these things say the Amen, the faithful and true witness (of the Father), the BEGINNING OF THE CREATION OF GOD(SPIRIT).

We can not even begin to fully understand the GLORY the SON has had with the Father since the BEGINNING.

The word of God tell us that through the works of the CROSS, Christ is going to give us this SAME GLORY that he shares with our Father.

When we come to this TRUTH, we are ready to be present with the Lord and absent this body.

But; our Father CAUSES us to continue SUFFERING IN THE FLESH, until our appointed time to depart this flesh.

    Then this happens:

1 Corinthians 15:54 DEATH is swallowed up in VICTORY.

We are then GIVEN the BODY of CHRIST and the FULLNESS of SPIRIT (GOD).

John 17:21 And the GLORY that thou hast GIVEN me, I have GIVEN THEM; that they may be ONE as we are ONE.

The law, the terms and conditions concerning the sanctification and forgiveness of sin , were spelled out specifically according to the law of Moses. Looking at history and the failures of society, have been given too us through the old testament. Sin is a condition that man from creation has separated us from our Father. The law could never make us perfect. There would always be a remembrance of those things.

Things being the sins, that easily separate us from His perfect righteousness and His WILL for His creation!

Now we live under grace. The grace found through the continuing forgiveness of sin through faith in the blood of Jesus. This new covenant, given to you and me freely, securing a new way between God and man! So, then the law is only a schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, old things are pasted away, all things are become new! The sins from the past can only be covered and forgiven through the blood of Christ. When we understand these things, then we can say without hesitation, from a new forgiven condition, what Jesus has shown us is the way the truth and the life. These things should drive us immediately to our knees as we cry and say thank you for such great love! Thank you Jesus for such great love!

An afternoon meditation. It is a sad situation when a born again man or woman takes a sword that was now re-formed into a cultivating tool for peaceful agrarian purposes and uses the new tool as a weapon of offense.

Brother Joel, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

    Hebrews 1:2 Hath in the last days spoken to us by his (the Father's) Son (Christ), whom he (the Father) appointed HEIR (Christ inherited EVERY THING AND EVERYBODY) of all things, by whom (by Christ) also HE (the Father) made the worlds (all creation, including man);

Let us (the Father and the Son) make (create) man in our (the Fathers and the Sons) image.

If your still in your FLESH, then you haven't YET become the IMAGE of the Father and the Son.

Ephesians 4:4 For there is ONE BODY (in Christ), and one Spirit (Life and Truth).

This is GIVEN to you when you no longer SUFFER IN THE FLESH.

1 Corinthians 15:54 .....DEATH is swallowed up in VICTORY (the works of Christ).

My husband needs a new job; he is 60 doing a much younger man's job of delivering heavy packages 8+ hours a day. He must take much overtime, as well, to make ends meet. We have spent our lives in ministry, and are trusting the Lord to lead us, but we are tired and getting discouraged as many things keep going wrong. Please pray that we would not miss whatever opportunity that He has for us, and that if we must continue to suffer, we would be strengthened and be able to be content.

Thank you very much, and God bless you for your care for us.

I sure hope so , I'm sure that somewhere in the Bible it says that the generation that sees Israel back in the land is the last generation , that happened in 1948 , then there was the six day war of 1967 , the year I was born . If I can find the reference I will post it on here .

    Hello Tracy,

Jehovah is a invisible spirit ( John 4:24) and doesn't need to dwell in physical creation.

the point is, if we can see it literally this is not were God resides.

So what is heaven? the Hebrew word means High or lofty.

he is way superior in power. but we do have a fine example of

his Almighty power by means of what he created like the sun for example. If a rocket can't land on the sun; this proves the power of God's invisible spirit. he can accomplish wonderful things in a instant, quicker then a blink. Romans 1:20; Genesis 1:1,2

God shares his invisible presence with angels.- Hebrews 1:7
  • GRACE_ambassador {ChrisE} - In Reply - 4 years ago
Precious Glenda, yes, very good point, as taught By our GRACE apostle, Paul:

"Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest LIVE LONG on the earth." ( Ephesians 6:1-3) However, choosing 'our own' way:

"Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. FOR THIS CAUSE many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep {HAVE DIED!}." ( 1 Co 11:27-30)

Thus, it is a Biblical Fact, and we all really 'should' Heed WHAT GOD SAYS:

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked; whatsoever a man soweth, THAT shall he also reap" Galatians 6:7)

And, then, of course, there is Also "reward OR LOSS thereof" at our Judgment ( 1 Co 3:6-15 cp 1 Co 5:1-5)

    Hope this helps...

Please Be Richly Encouraged, Enlightened, Exhorted, and Edified!

    ( 2 Timothy 2:15; Romans 16:25; Ephesians 1:3-9; Ephesians 3:9=Grace/Mystery

    Hello Onyi,

If the verse doesn't say we don't know.

however, what we do know is in Exodus 6 Moses

told Jehovah God ( psalm 83:18) that he was circumcised in lips.

Moses felt that his speech was cut off. you can think of someone with a stuttering

defect. sometimes in old age people voice is choppy or weak. especially some more then others at the age of 100 years old or more.

What the bible does tells us is that Moses was 120 years

old when he died. Deuteronomy 31:2,14; Joshua 1:2
  • Michelle on 1 John 4 - 4 years ago
Humans are superficial. We cannot love what we have not sensed, without the aid of the Holy Spirit. This is not to say the love starts with sight, or that you should love people before you love God. But if you love God, then loving fellow Christians will come naturally.
