Dear Glenn , I'm not sure if I understand you correctly when you say that no one has died . There are lots of scriptures I could ask you about , I will choose Ezekiel Ch 18 , what do you think it is about ? If death is not the cessation of life what is it ? If when we die we still live on in some form why would God say what He does in v23 and v32 of Ch 18 . I feel as if I am beeing brutal towards you and I'm sorry because that is not my intention . If we go to somewhere wonderfull after our physical bodies die why aren't Christians everywhere killing themselves so they can be in that wonderfull place ? As far as I'm aware the Bible does not say that suicide is a sin . Many Christians have extremely hard lives in very difficult and distressing circumstances , why aren't they killing themselves to get to that lovely place as soon as possible ? I am genuinely interested to know what you believe and why you believe it . I have noticed that a lot of people , not you or anyone on this site , family friends work colleagues etc are extremely offended at the thought of ceasing to exist ,people of other faiths etc prefer to believe that 'something ' happens to us or we go 'somewhere' . I honestly think this belief comes from human pride , our pride in our own selves and desire to be of some importance in some way to some one . We are grass . But for the love and grace of God in devising a perfect means of salvation and without Christ's love and obedience to God that's what we would always be , grass . Here today gone tomorrow . I am sorry if I have been rough on you , I don't mean to be , please don't take this as a personal attack because it isn't one I promise . I can only speak my beliefs .

You are so right Fred , when I read about Jesus calling himself the shepherd it means so much more to me because I have read Ezekiel ch34 . We must remember that Christ is the embodiment of the Old Testament law and prophets , he was brought up on it , he quotes it directly or indirectly almost constantly , it fed him , it comforted him it strengthened him . It can do the same for us . The more you read the more you realise how deeply interconnected the Old and New are and it really strengthens your faith and gives some sense of the hugeness and beauty of God's ways towards us . God is everlasting , we are grass . However , He has devised a means by which we may be with Him forever and He has done that because He loves us ! God's love is truly awesome to me . It often makes me ashamed of myself and my small faith and cold lazy selfish heart .

Where in the Bible, does it speak about seasons in the end times. (Not telling them apart)?
  • Fred Scanlan - In Reply - 4 years ago
What i see reading the old testament are the prophets warning the people to repent. The stories of the blessing of God unto man who repent and give thanks for his blessings. His judgments that happen even after the people have been warned. Examples of faith, prophets like Jonah the stories of going the other way, while God will have his way. Moses and his faithfulness at the same time not depending on God and losing the chance to see the promise land. These are great men and woman who have set great examples for us all. Jesus and the apostles , use these all as examples of faith. There is a lot of camping in the bible. Camping out, can be fun, also a great learning experience on survival and looking out for one another. Many examples of nature and animals, planting and harvesting. It is a book about life, also about the horrible sin that lies within us all! Your right ,the old testament, is the history of man and God! Reading the kjv can be difficult at times, but worth the effort, for in it is the holy spirit, that makes us ask the right questions! When we ask we shall receive, a well springing up unto eternal life!

There is a link out on the Red Link page where you came into this room.

Go there and click on the BECOME A BELIEVER link.

It's going to answer most of your questions. There is also a prayer that all Christians pray when they choose to believe on Jesus.

We need to remember what Jesus experienced to make all this possible.

Start reading in your Bible in the Book of John, and the 1-2-3 John (in front of the book of Revelation. Romans is another great book for new Christians. Rvery odyssey in here is available to answer specific questions.

Satan was a created archangel. When he was ejected from Heaven (with 1/3 angels; turned demons)

They have no bodies. They have to borrow bodies to do their evil. Evil humans give their bodies to do evil. Demons can borrow animal, reptile, etc.

Satan didn't have Dominion or Authority to do anything to born again Christians; but the Christians must be taught what they have in Christ. Ephesians 6

Look at Hollywood! Way more movies on occult, sci-fi, and humans hurting humans. Very very few scriptural Bible films.

Humans were given Dominion in Genesis by God.

Only Bible readers would know that. Jesus defeated Satan by being crucified and then Resurrected. Christians have the same AUTHORITY to defeat Satan's strategies against us. It's done in prayer on our knees.

Most people just want to come home and watch tv or play online games.

Bad things happen to good people/Christians because we don't want to do the hard stuff that produces salvations, healings, deliverance from Satan's attacks. We don't need to be blaming God for our inability to follow the example of Jesus.

What would happen if we walked out on the back porch and yelled out loud: in Jesus Name, by His power and Authority, I take Dominion over every demonic strategy to hurt me and my family and loved ones. I bind your evil plans and cast you OUT OF THIS HOUSE

    OUT OF MY FAMILY

    OUT OF MY WORK PLACE

    OUT OF MY CITY

    OUT OF MY GOVERNMENT

GO NOW INTO OUTER DARKNESS TO WANDER. DO NOT RETURN

IN THE NAME OF JESUS. AMEN

I ask the Lord, to release warring angels to enforce and protect this prayer; minister to and guard those this prayer covers. Cover me and favor my family, Lord Jesus,

I give you thanksgiving, my praise to you, worship and honor. Impart to me discernment so I may stand in the watchtower and be vigilant against Satan's attacks. I rebuke the Spirit of Slumber! Holy Spirit teach me how I should pray for all my concerns. I receive it, in the Name of Jesus. AMEN! HALLELUJAH

Hello Brother in Christ. A few meditations within this subject.

Sanctification has a couple of parts:

    1) To (being) set apart for a sacred purpose- This part is imputed

Separated by faith and repentance of sin, man becomes converted, born again and justified and knows peace by the indwelling Holy Spirit.

    2) To cleanse from all impurities- This part is is imparted. The Holy Ghost will purify, as the believer by faith allows the same to bring to mind an obedience even an obedience to suffering where Grace will be provided.

This inward renewal and cleansing is received and not achieved by faith that the Potter will shape the vessel for His good purpose. The flesh is mostly opposed to this imparting, it wants to blame the world when it is the world. The flesh is opposed to suffering because, it cannot know the Peace of the Spirit of God and understand the Grace provided. The Spiritual man in the Body of Christ can understand that this suffering in the flesh is part of the understanding of the the suffering of Christ in the flesh.

It is not a Work to deny the flesh (world) to allow a greater sanctification of the Spirit of a born again believer. We are yoked to His Work at Calvary thereby yoked to His suffering which is Grace and Peace towards us.

The Word is Truth, it will sanctify, that is, if we understand the Spiritual Body and deny the world and accept God's Grace in our daily lives while being pilgrims and strangers in the body of the world.

Amen, Precious Thomas! Here is Further Scriptural 'Confirmation' for The Body Of CHRIST, "Departure Truth" with CONFIDENCE, dead or alive:

"Now He that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, Who also hath given unto us The Earnest of The Spirit. Therefore we are always Confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from The LORD: (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) We are Confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present With The LORD!" ( 2 Co 5:5-8)

Paul further teaches: "For to me to live is Christ, and to die IS GAIN!" (Phi 1:21)

"For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to DEPART, And To Be WITH CHRIST; which IS FAR BETTER!" (Phi 1:23) {critics' sleep/UNconscious/cease to exist are NOT "FAR BETTER!"} OR:

IF He Comes while we're alive:

"Then we which are alive and remain Shall Be Caught Up together with them in the clouds, to meet The LORD in the air: and so shall we ever be with The LORD!" ( 1 Th 4:17):

"Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory...But thanks be to God, Which Giveth us the victory through our LORD JESUS CHRIST!" ( 1 Co 15:51-57)

For all who MAY NOT HAVE this CONFIDENCE about "Departure," God's Simple Will:

    A) Believe The GRACE Gospel ( 1 Co 15:3-4; Eph 2:8-9; Rom 3-5)

    B) LOVE neighbor, fulfil ALL The Law ( Gal 5:14; Rom 13:8-10)

    C) Study, "Approved Unto God" ( 2 Ti 2:15; Rom 16:25; Eph 1:3-9 Grace/Mystery 'fellowship,' today!) Also: Link

As I read Genesis, few things confused me, hope I can get some help for answers.

In Gen.1:26 God made man after their image and likeness and verse 27 God created male and female

but then in chapter 2 verse 7, God just formed man from dust of the ground and became a living soul and that's Adam down in verse 21-23 God created the woman ( Eve). My question is, did God created first batch of male and female human before He created Adam and Eve?

Brother Sonny, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

Most people are taught by the traditions of man, very few study themselves and let the Spirit reveal the truth to them.

Romans 8:20 For the CREATURE (CREATION) was made SUBJECT TO VANITY (evil), not WILLINGLY, but by REASON of him who hath SUBJECTED the same (creation) in HOPE. (Becoming ONE with their CREATOR).

Ponder on the tree of KNOWLEDGE of good and evil.

That knowledge exist TOGETHER, you can't have the KNOWLEDGE of good without also having the KNOWLEDGE of evil.

After partaking of this KNOWLEDGE of good and evil, God said, behold they (creation) have become like one of us to KNOW good and evil.

This KNOWLEDGE is necessary to become LIKE GOD.

John 17:21 That they (creation) ALL may BE ONE; as thou Father, art ONE IN ME, and I IN THEE, that thou also may be ONE IN US: that the world MAY BELIEVE that thou has SENT ME.

    Colossians 1:27 ... this mystery....CHRIST IN YOU.....

Revelation 4:5 And out of the throne (you are the throne of CHRIST)( Revelation 20:4) proceeded lighting, and thunder and voices: BURNING ( Isaiah 4:4) before the throne (you are the throne of CHRIST)( Revelation 20:4), which (lighting, thunder, voices) ARE the SEVEN Spirits of God (now in you).

Isaiah 11:2 And the (first is the) SPIRIT of the LORD (Father) shall rest upon him (Christ (in you)), the (second) spirit of WISDOM, and (the third spirit of) UNDERSTANDING, the (forth) spirit of COUNSEL and (the fifth spirit of) MIGHT, the (sixth) spirit of KNOWLEDGE and (the seventh spirit) of the FEAR of the Lord.

When we no longer have to SUFFER IN THE FLESH we will BE ONE WITH THE FATHER AND SON.

1 Thessalonians 5:2 - Portion of An Excellent Article: "The Day Of The LORD!

The Scriptures have much toSay about 'theDay ofThe LORD,' but precisely whatisTheDay ofThe LORD?

Generally speaking, of course, it refers to the time when the day of man, or "the timesof the Gentiles," will be brought to an end, and "The LORD AloneShallBeExalted"

(Isaiah2:11,17; Isa 2:11; Isa 2:17; Isa 2:11, 17). But will it include more than the actual Return andReign of CHRIST?

Will it include the prophesied tribulation period, during whichGod will bring Gentilerule to an end? We believe it will.

One pastor who teaches that the Body of CHRIST will go through the tribulation andthat its Rapture to be with CHRIST will followthe tribulation, writes:

'TheDay ofThe LORD follows the tribulation and it is the day of the LORD's wrath upon those who 'know not God and obey not TheGospel of ourLORD JESUSCHRIST' ( 2 Thessalonians 1:8). It comes as 'a thief in thenight,' which is not so with the tribulation.'

But this interpretation does not take into account ALLThatIs SaidIn Scripture about'TheDay ofThe LORD' - and contradicts some of it."...

...No, the Rapture of the Body of CHRIST to be With HIM will not follow the tribulation; it will precede it. Thus the Apostle Paul, after writing about the Rapture of the Body in 1 Thessalonians 4, continues in Chapter 5 with The Word "But," to show the disrelation of God's prophesied 'times and seasons' and 'The Day of The LORD,' From That Blessed Day {Of CHRIST 2 Th 2:2, et al}, for which every believer should be "looking, waiting, And watching!"...

Sometimes , when I read a post on this site , it is obvious to me that the person posting has not read the Old Testament . I don't mean that they haven't cross checked their references , I mean that they haven't read the whole Old Testament . This makes me sad and I hope that they will do so eventually . The thing that really distresses me is that sometimes I read a post on here and find it hard to believe that the person posting has actually read the entire New Testament . Romans is a fab book . If anyone has any trouble understanding Romans , please , don't be proud , just ask for help . There are lots of people on here who can help you .

I still do not understand, if creation was do perfect and the world newly created and all was godly, just where exactly did evil come from?

Since it was newly created and there was no other place mentioned again so seems like there was an error in some form, and then from the research I've done, a serpent was also referred to as an elder, and in more research there's a discussion of other forms of life, which other religions such as in India.

The serpent races are recorded thru history as are the ocean going mermen and merwomen which a race was discovered by Jaque Cousteau son a few years back on digital camera actually coming up and peering in the the underwater sub as well as three remains found in California on the beach.

I believe whatever exists living is created by God. If there are aliens it's just something else created by God.

When it comes to creation there's alot of gaps in time, books added, books removed, politics.

Example, Romans crucified Christ, the Sadducees and Pharisees were the ruling religious political parties of the times, I'd suggest they wanted Christ out of the way more then the Romans.

    2 Chronicles 3

Solomon begins the construction of the Lord's temple with detail measurements and precise materials. Nothing was left to chance, everything was by design.

Just as my life should not left to chance but by design of the Lord Jesus Christ. The measurements and precise materials come from the Scriptures of the Lord. 2 Timothy 3: 16, 17 The design is by the leading of the Holy Ghost within me. My responsibility is to put in the holy and righteousness of God and leave out the things I desire that are not of God. 2 Corinthians 6: 16, 17; 2 Corinthians 10: 3-6

Thank you Lord. Bless our country and the leadership that they may find the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior and there by lead by God's design and not their own mind. September 28, 2021

    Brother Adam,

Amen. I agree, and if I could pick only one scripture from the entire bible that summarizes what God really wants from us, it is Jesus speaking to us in this Scripture!

    John 14:15

"If ye love me, keep my commandments."

I would not want to look Jesus in the eyes on judgement day and tell him (Jesus Christ) who will be the Judge, that I ignored his request! We all need to think about this.

Here is Jesus speaking to us thru apostle John 30-40 years after his death on the cross - in Revelation below:

    Revelation 22:12-14

12And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Here is Jesus still saying the same thing to us 30-40 years after his death! Keep his commandments, and we will be judged for our good or bad works.

So the argument that the apostle Paul and others can teach anything different than what Jesus taught throughout the ENTIRE BIBLE, is debunked by Jesus himself in the above scripture!

    God Bless.

Romans 3 :31 Do we make void the law by Faith God forbid we establish the law as them that are born of God cannot sin ( the real new birth ) We birth the H.G. with in our selves which is the seed of Christ and that seed remains in us thus we CANNOT SIN, (THATS WHAT SIN IS THE TRANGRESSION OF THE LAW )WE keep the commandments ( that woman in Child birth in Rev 12 keeps the commandments as real Faith is a spritual pregnancy that is gonna produce a baby Christ in us which is the H.G. That CHILD of PROMISE .Jesus said think not that i have come to do away with the law or the Prophets I have not come to do away with the law but to fulfill the law . As them that are born of God cannot sin thus the law IS FULFILLED . Simply b/c they cannot sin b/c Christ is gonna be born in them the son of man. Not I that live but Christ that lives within me Paul said That Christ that is gonna be born in us cannot sin ( the Manchild the H.G. ) Thus the law is established by Faith that leads to a heavenly Birth of Christ in US. That Woman in Rev 12 keeps the commandments b/c she has given birth to the H.G. the Manchild that is gonna rule all nations including our selves as our God is a consuming fire. Our old adamic nature is gonna be consumed via his baptism of Fire. Old things has passed away,Behold i make all things New ( our old adamic nature that cannot keep from sinning is gonna be consumed. Remember the red heifer had to be burnt to ashes . That new born babe that desires the sincere milk of the Word is the H.G. that Child of Promise as Jesus said that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit Thats the H.G. OUR NEW INNERMAN that cannot sin. Thus the law is fulfilled .

Jesus said in John 14:15, "If ye love me, keep my commandments." So, if someone says anything that seems contrary to scripture I won't believe it, but believe God's Word. When I hear those saying things like obeying God is bad or following any law is bad, I think some nuances of the meaning are missed from Romans 6:15-18 which says not to yield to sin that you were servants to sin, but now are to be servants/slaves to righteousness. Being "free" from sin isn't a free pass to sin. John 8:11. I feel a moral duty to post scripture about this, because Christians hear this in church then go out and get drunk, do drugs, have sex outside of marriage, party, and enjoy following the world. They do that, because they are under the assumption that it's ok, because people (including pastors) keep telling them it's ok since they're "not under the law"- that they're free and can do whatever they want with no consequence. The problem is the Bible doesn't say that. Jesus says you should be concerned and fear the one who can send you to hell. According to Jesus, Christians and anyone else following the world of sin instead of Jesus should be afraid. Luke 12:5. Those who don't obey Jesus don't love Him. Those who don't love Him may not have to spend eternity with Him. God bless.
