  • PSALM 119 MEANING - In Reply on Psalms 120 - 4 years ago
    Psalm 119

The focus of Psalm 119 is the supernatural power of the Bible. When we read the Bible and study the Bible and most of all apply the Bible its supernatural power flows into our lives. The Bible is modern day spinach! ... Psalm 119 verse 1 says, "How blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord.

You can Google the scripture+verse in google; type meaning, after that. It will translate those names from the Hebrew or Greek.

In the book of James chapter 1 verse 22 the writer tells (commands) us to "But be ye DOERS of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. When you DO something that means it will require an effort. The bible teaches us to put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. We don't change just by reading Gods word but we must respond in what it instructs us to DO. Not just hear. So it DOES take self effort. We're not getting into heaven by slipping on a banana peel, its going to have to be a life lived.

Also, Jesus said (John3:5)" Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water (baptized, fully submerged) and of the spirit (receive the holy spirit-Gods gift to us Acts 2:38-39), he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Not JUST by have faith in Jesus, which is not wrong to have faith in Jesus because we're supposed to, just FYI, but faith without works is dead being alone. Works are the acts, deeds or that which one undertakes to do to show his or her faith. It's your Labour in and for the kingdom of God. Its everything that you do as unto the Lord.

Beautiful observation. Psalm 119 has each letter of the Hebrew alphabet.

Each letter has symbolic, graphic, and literal meanings. It is a very rich language with very deep meanings. Search Hebrewforchristians to get deeper insight into the pictographic language.
  • GREATEST COMMANDMENT - In Reply - 4 years ago
    Matthew Chapter 22

34 But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.

35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,

36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Where does Scripture SAY THAT Cain and Able had different fathers? That is fallacy totally not in the scriptures. In fact it say very CLEARLY that Adam fathered both Cain in Genesis 4:1 and. Vs 2:

[ Gen 4:1-2 KJV] 1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.

2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

Clearly they were not even twins.

Probably you heard from someone that crazy twisted story...I challenge you to SEARCH the scriptures for yourself rather than #1) believe what someone told you what the Bible said and #2) find someone else who teaches the Word of God without mans doctrine or interpretation.

Believing that God, the Creator, speaks to us in and through the Word, we can read it and study it to understand it for ourselves...we MUST else we can believe a lie. He says what He means and means what He said. Man wants to twist it - which is luciferic. Lucifer added one word to what God said and altered the whole course of mankind to fall.

Without the Holy Ghost, who leads and guides us to ALL Truth We cannot understand the scriptures.

    Hi Lynn.

Here's a copy of a reply from the same question by brother Jesse,

Thought it would be OK to share it.

    Quote.

Jesus said if any man will come after me, and that is the word behind. And here is the decision-making process. When somebody surrenders to Jesus Christ, they are surrendering to come behind Him. Every single person has a calling to come behind Jesus. That's it!

If any man will come behind me, and there are three things, or principles I would like to share with you.

Principle number 1: Let him deny himself.

Now the word deny, ARNEOMAI, means to reject. This is what it means in the Greek. But first I'll tell you what it doesn't mean.

It doesn't mean that you are to deny yourself an ice cream cone after church or after bible study. It means to reject yourself, period!

The next phrase says, "and take up his cross." And some think that means whatever hardships I go through today. But that's not what it means.

You see, according to Romans Chapter 6, when Jesus died on the cross, He died my death. Therefore I have died, and every day my flesh is nailed to the cross and I'm to carry that cross.

And thirdly He says "follow me." Do you see what He's saying here?

He is saying "Follow me," meaning that the position is behind Him.

A good text would beGalatians 2:20, where Paul says I have been crucified in Christ, and the life that I now live, he says I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.

You see, he has died. I don't live any more. I don't do what I want to do because I don't live, I died. Paul says I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. And the life that I now live, I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me.

He just said it all in one verse. Reject yourself!

I have had a conviction for a long time that our struggle every day in life is more against God than it is against Satan. Why? Because our flesh is continually trying to get down off that cross, and trying to get away from the struggles of life.

  • Adam - In Reply on Matthew 19 - 4 years ago
Hi Carole, this has been circulated around for years, but I don't believe it's true. I think it was made up by people to not feel as bad about it being hard for rich people to go to heaven. I believe the Bible already said what it means regarding the eye of the needle. It's already symbolic and this extra layer of symbolism that isn't explained in the Bible, but only by hearsay, is highly suspicious. The Bible says it's hard for rich to go to heaven and I believe the Bible over man. I don't believe this is a punishment on anyone who is financially successful, but shows how important and extra difficult it is to not be corrupted by money and the love of money. It also says in v26 that all things are possible with God on your side.

  • Carole Gonzalez on Matthew 19 - 4 years ago
Please explain "eye of a needle" in Matthew 19:24. I've been told it's a small opening in a large wall, thru which a camel has to kneel down (with nothing on his back) to get thru it. Is this true?

Isaiah,.. chapter 3 , starting at vs 4 , to about vs 15 or so ,.. explaining that in " In that day" meaning these days an times,.. there is surly a lot of end time material in the Old Testament,.. one of Jesus' favorite opening lines was , " haven't you read " ?????

Nakedness ; meaning Ham had sexual relationship with his mother,

And did you mean Cain ? ,.. if so , Eve was the mother of both Cain an Able , they were twins , by different Fathers,.. Cain of course of the Devil , for she partook of the tree of good an evil ,.. an Able of Adam ,.. hence the very first prophesy of our Heavenly Father, genesis 3 vs 15 ,..

For the truth that so many fail to see: see the documentary ITS WORSE THAN YOU THINK on youtube, if still there or on rumble and for sure at revelationsofjesuschrist.c I was at first dismissive, then skeptical, then perplexed, and quickly moved to repentance. I thought like many, that I knew and wouldn't be fooled. I didn't realize how deceived I was. Time is very short. View and pray for insight and wisdom. Your in for quite an education. It is worse than you think. Realize this one thing, no matter what you believe about the jab, mark or no mark, hand or no hand, (if you understood the greek root of the word you'd understand completely), IF the mark is here, then so is the beast. One does not precede the other. When in Daniel 11:24 prophesies of the anti-Christ type (Antiochus Epiphanes), it does not preclude the end times anti-Christ. This is just a foreshadowing of things to come. As it was in the beginning so shall it be in the end. Adam and Eve were in paradise, free from death. They were warned not to take into them what was forbidden or the would die (spiritually) and once consumed or taken into their bodies, they did die and they too were deceived. It just wasn't as the deceiver had claimed not. We have been warned from the beginning and we still don't see. We haven't loved God so we have been given a great delusion. We have all been deceived on a grand scale. Just as the religious leaders of Jesus time who knew the "old Testament" backwards and forwards did not see in the spirit, but only thru their carnal minds, they too missed the reality of the Messiah. They couldn't accept it and refused to believe it, to the point of killing God. So to, think we know, we think we will see it all coming. Just as Jesus said he would return like a thief in the night, (catch everyone unaware, unexpectedly), so to in parallel and counterfeit to Christ the beast has entered in peaceably (which translates unnoticed). Wake up you've been deceived.

Sabbath is Saturday and is different than when a church meets for worship. It sounds like maybe you are conflating the two. We are to be Christians and worship God every day, not just one day. Churches customarily meet on Sunday, because that's when the first century Christians did as stated in Acts 20:7. God bless.

Rev12; it is the development of the Christians church. Rev.12 ;1-8Jesus was the child and the location was Israel , the 12 star. Jesus was crucified during his the beginning of his ministry which started the Christians church. The red dragon were the leaders of the time who does not want the world to know the truth. They deceived the world about Christ bringing the world in the wilderness. They killed the early disciples of Christ calling them heretics . They control who will be kings, they killed those who would try to bring the truth. rev 12-9-12 Then they were defeated by michael and cast down to the world bringing more chaos and wars and deception. But GOD ALMIGHTY ALLOWED the church to get out of the wilderness, when the Protestant defeat the Catholic Church, this was started by Martin Luther. But there were john Calvin to bring about deception in the Christians world, the anti Christ doctrine. But then again the dragon did not stop in his effort. He succeeded in bringing the Christians to the and wilderness, they succeeded in putting up the 2 Vatican council bringing everyone back to his fold . Rev 12-17Let's see who will be the remnant of the woman , those who will keep the testimony

of Christ and follow the commandments . Observed church members had gone down, and we might not even be able to discuss religion. The the dragon is very strong he continue to deceived by bringing justification to their claim, rights, and declare that GOD ALMIGHTY is against them. But on the contrary, they are the one who turn their backs to GOD. GET READY the tribulation is just around the corner

The Holy Spirit is not around during the great tribulation, because, understand first that man brings all the miseries and poverty war,and famine disease flood and heavy typhoon to himself. He attracts it , because he choose evil works than righteousness, bringing death to himself. the Holy Spirit can not come to a person who does not accept GOD LMIGHTY.

AND THE TRIBULATION is man made as it has always been. Man creates this war and ,whoremongering idolatry, hence we are very close to the great tribulation

If you are a Christian before you start to study Revelation pray and ask God for his wisdom and understanding of the scriptures ask God for the knowledge of the word and do not rush through the scriptures allow God to brake the scriptures down for you to understand and God will. Jesus told us (in our language) to ask for his wisdom and understanding. As for the beasts there are two the first is the world and the second is a religious organization.

Hi Lynn , this is just my belief , others may disagree , I believe that my physical body is my cross , it is a burden , as long as I am in it I will sin and I am weak , need to eat drink sleep etc .This is what was crucified , sinfull flesh , however Jesus never ever sinned , therefore he did not deserve death , he never earned the wages of sin , we all do . That was , is , his victory that he accomplished , he never sinned so he did not earn the wages of sin which is death . He did it for us , that his sinless life and willing sacrifice is his righteousness , if we believe in him , that he is the Son of God and that God raised him from the dead then Christ's righteousness covers or blots out our sin from God's eyes . Christ is our righteousness . He did it for us . If we believe in him and in his Father then we are saved , saved from what ? 1st Thessalonians ch1 V10 .

Hi Harry , "experimental outpatient " surely that's a warren song ? If it isn't it should be ! Hubby is a total softy , he honestly believes that warrens songs kept him together when I had cancer , he genuinely loves him . I honestly believe that if you are a Christian you should treat all your sufferings as lessons ,Heb ch5 V8 . Suffering is extremely important to us , it smooths off our sharp edges . Suffering is valuable experience for us , or it should be . I learned for sure that I am not my body . On the morning of my 4th chemo I woke up and my body said to me , loud and clear : please don't do that to me again today , I don't like it , I had to psychologically force myself to go and have it and the other two sessions that I had . I now know that I am not my body . It can be very hard to be happy in this world , so many people needlessly suffering , it's hard to accept that as individuals there's not much we can do other than be as kind as possible to everyone who crosses our path . A favourite American writer of mine , Kurt Vonnegut says that the two most dangerous things for us are lonelyness and boredom because these two paths can lead us into terrible trouble if we are not carefull . I've never felt lonely and as an only child I have always known how to amuse myself . Books , especially the best book ever ! I've always loved reading , music is such an instant fix of joy and films . I feel very sorry for anyone who doesn't know how to be happy on their own . Thankfully hubby loves the same stuff as me . He's an only child also . I wonder if that's significant . May God bless you and may He keep you very close to Him always .

As a little child filled with joy laughter and excitement to meet Jesus Christ our saviour and king.

We wait in anticipation with our lanterns filled with his light to guide others to his path.It weaves and turns yet becomes straight when our hearts and minds are focused on his presence.

Pureness ,and holiness are his and his alone! We can only attempt to reach at the hem of his gown, and that he realise an angel to tend to our afflictions and doubts. As he blesses us each day with his prescense in our hearts ,and souls.Thank you father for all you have done for us in Jesus name amen
