Put that scripture in Google and type TEACHING after it, or COMMENTARIES

and don't read Wiki. Read Bible comments.

Not much is going to change until people vote for the party that is doing things that are good for all citizens.

if we vote in money grabbing, compromising with our enemies (representatives) like we have now; nothing is going to change.

its not red vs blue or white vs black and brown or rich vs poor.

    it's about good versus evil.

if we dont vote right and protect our freedoms, our constitution and faith

theyre gonna knock on the door and take our guns.

i don't have a gun, but i have a bible and i know how to use it. jesus is returning soon.

This is New Testament. Go to your Church when they are having services; hopefully with Communion. Find a church that actually teaches on Bible scripture.

Everybody has 19 viewpoints on this. God just wants us to rest, worship at church and spend the day with family

Those things are occult. All carry a spiritual death sentence. My advise is to burn those books you have and get a King James Bible with a concordance.

    Look up Babylon.

Find the TESTIMONIES LINK on this website and read those of people who came out of the occult practices. Jesus is your only hope.

Will write more tomorrow. My phone needs charging.

    Adam,

Thank you for having eyes to see, an honest heart to discern with, and the ability to call out what is written.

This is the report of a watchman.

( Ezekiel 33:7) So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.

    Glenn,

I read what you said again, at least 6 times. I'm glad I didn't skip over it. You wrote the most beautiful description I've ever read. Mysticism of the ages set in poetry ( 2 Peter 3:8). However, the 'day of the Lord' begins at the sixth trumpet, not the seventh. Thanks for the vision.

Yes, there is a lot of evil. I used to believe the USA represented a moral good and I no longer believe that. I don't go so far as some people do, however, who absolutely hate the country and hate people of a certain race. I think that's wrong. But the leadership is lost and corrupt. Every day it is becoming more like Sodom and Gomorrah and one day I think God will have enough and let it be destroyed. I don't think the US will survive long term as it even seems to be destroying itself. Every other country also has corruption and evil too, as mankind is very flawed and keeps choosing sin. Seeing so many killed because of taking an experimental injection and then seeing the coverup is really eye opening. People in denial as to what even the truth is, and anyone who dares question their assumptions is at risk of being 'cancelled'. Scary times not unlike Nazi Germany.

Why do churches hold church on sunday and not saturday ? Remember the Sabbath to keep it holy. So if a church holds on sunday doesnt that mean they are teaching false doctrine ?

Who does America think they are to tell China what to do? Your first concern should be stopping America's military from killing innocent people. Stop the evil US from hiring ISIS to fight in Iraq and Syria. As soon as Russia entered the war in Syria, they routed ISIS, while the US bombed open fields, as to not hurt their ISIS assets. The war on terror is a hoax, and one America won't survive.

Every professing Christian should understand the depth of this chapter. because this is truly an important instruction of GOD ALMIGHTY TO MEN. but men fail to see its relevance bringing miseries and poverty to everyone.

our king Jesus even reiterate it in Matthew 22 : the most important commandment is LOVE GOD ALMIGHTY WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND SOUL . man then continue on his loss journey bringing all kind of tragedy: war, famine, pestilence poverty.

they thought that there is no GOD anymore, not understanding that there lack of understanding about the commandments of GOD BRING A LOT OF CURSES. you see, just as the curses did take place on Israel, the same is happening to the world; GOD ALMIGHTY IS NOT A PUNISHING GOD. but men attracts to himself his own demise, because men choose evil works than righteousness : GOD ALMIGHTY SEND HIS SON JESUS to bring peace and prosperity but they crucified him instead

thank-you, however this verse is not complete, first and upmost and i Quote 'Deny yourself' is the key.....in the Bible the Lord spoke and said the greatest gift ONE can give is,,,, if one would lay down his life for another.... and that is the greatest love one can give.... HE himself showed all of us by example upon "that cross" the cross is a symbol, of the love that i have to follow & Be more Christ like in this attempt when i decided to server & and be of service....ALL that Christ is and has done is that CROSS that i carry.......

Brother Adam, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

Why do you BELIEVE FIRE is literal of physical fire. Why is the worm that never DIES a literal or physical worm.

Christ SAID my words are SPIRIT, therefore the fire is spirit, the worm is spirit.

Job 25:6 How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man (SPIRIT, TRUTH, LIFE), which is A WORM?

Hebrews 12:29 For OUR GOD (SPIRIT, TRUTH, LIFE) is a consuming FIRE.

Colossians 1:27 ...this mystery .... CHRIST IN YOU....the fire (spirit of Christ) that DESTROYS and PURIFIES is never quenched but IMMORTAL. The worm (spirit of Christ) that DESTROYS flesh and never DIES but is IMMORTAL.

We are the vessel (POT) the fire and the worm are the potter (CREATOR).

Psalms 104:30 Thou (the Father) sendest (SENT the Son) thy Spirit (of Christ), they (the vessels) are CREATED (by the WORKS of SPIRIT) (the fire and the worm): thou RENEWEST the face of the earth.

    Adam,

The warning to not take the mark is specifically for the 144 thousand sealed saints. They are the only ones strong enough not to take the mark ( Revelation 20:4). God knows everyone else, Christian or not, will accept the mark during the great tribulation. This is human instinct to survive any way possible. Chapter 14 is for the saints.

    ( Revelation 14:9-11)

9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

There are Bible accounts you accept at face value, and others you don't accept at face value (more to it than meets the eye). If you don't understand who the immediate audience is, you will not gain full understanding. You will think it's directed at you, and say something like "I wouldn't take the mark", when in fact, you most certainly will take the mark. Most Christian's are weak as water and will clamor to take the mark. God knows the hypocrites, Christian's in name only will lose their religion for their bellies. Each claim must be proven in its measure, and this one has problems in its rhetorical design.

Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

    English Sacha,

I read your 1st message with the same understanding of your 2nd message. I instinctively know what you said, so no worries. Bless your heart for double-backing around to safeguard my fragile feelings, lol. Bob Dylan has a tune called "License to kill", and has some typical Zimmy lines about man's fall. It's about a woman (Christian) sitting on the hill (Mt Olives) waiting for Jesus to come and take away man's license to kill. "Maybe a noise maker, spirit maker, heart breaker, back breaker, leave no stone unturned, maybe an actor in a plot that might be all that you got, till you error you clearly learn". The Stones make a horse-meat pie sound scrumptious in a song that rhymes with "itch". Too bad it wasn't a corned beef pie, my dad would be 1st one at the table.

I don't consider my brief challenge of ailments a bad thing considering I could have it much worse. I pledged yearly donations to the hospital annex facility years before I checked in as an experimental outpatient, and I requested they treat me the same as a non-paying client, from a disadvantaged background. The Lord has blessed me beyond my dreams, so I can share the joy with other like minded souls, into the vapor. Cheers to your husband for the well wishes upon a stranger; he's a rock standing out in an ocean of doubt, without compromise.

    Hi ChrisE,

Thanks for your response and thoughts, as well as all of your related scripture, I read all of your scripture, and the scripture is all very good, but it does not convince me that water baptism is no longer a requirement for a Christian.

When I read scripture I place the most weight when Jesus speaks (because he is speaking from God). Here is Jesus speaking about water baptism:

    John 3:5

"Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."

Jesus said there must be 2 actions (TWO ACTIONS ARE REQUIRED) We must be born of Water and of the Spirit! Done. If you argue with this, then you are really arguing directly with Jesus, in my opinion.

Here is additional scripture showing 2 ACTIONS are required:

    Mark 16:16

"He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."

He that believeth - We must believe - 1st ACTION

and is Baptized - WE must be baptized - 2nd ACTION

The scripture doesn't just say we must just believe, we must do BOTH!

Last, but not least, my question would really be, why wouldn't a Christian want to be baptized in water and the spirit, as Jesus states: to enter the kingdom of Heaven?

    God Bless.

Brother Carleton; I AGREE, we are reigning NOW, with him, in truth, in peace, in life, because he has revealed this to us, through his written word AND the living word abiding IN US.

His word ALSO declares to us what we will BE DOING after we depart this body of flesh.

Psalms 126:6 He that goeth forth and weepth, BEARING PRECIOUS SEED (written and living, Matthew 13:37, Luke 8:11) shall doubtless COME AGAIN (as SEED) with rejoicing, bring his SHEAVES (the harvest) with him.
  • Carleton - In Reply - 4 years ago
I would like to add another meditation. In the beginning God through Christ created man in the image of God to live on forever. Man separated himself from this image by his own works. The punishment from God was immediate. Man lost part of the whole image and became in the flesh, earth and world a false image, because man was no longer representing the whole image of God. This incomplete image was now mortality by corruption (sin).

What was missing? Holiness and righteousness.

What was gained? Food for the dragon, Satan.

Until Jesus came in the likeness of flesh, earth and world to save man in God's complete image which is eternal Life.

Jesus is not just a man; human.

He is the Son of God. By being born of a virgin, He became the SON OF MAN.

He's fully the 2nd person of the Godhead ( Romans 1). He attained the right to come to earth and be born legally a human. [when Abraham was told to sacrifice his son Isaac]

Because of that act of faith, Satan was legally defeated. He was stripped of the power of death, the grave and the keys to the prison by Jesus when he died on the Cross. Satan got his neck stomped too.

We have DOMINION from the book of Genesis. Jesus secured THE AUTHORITY OF BELIEVERS to get Satan out of our lives.

If we go to hellit's because we chose hell. "Acting Clueless" won't get you a pass.

If you don't like the way we preach stuff, then YOU study and come back and we will listen. I will. IRON SHARPENS IRON.

In the Bible, Jesus says to "take up your cross and follow me." How do I know what my cross is? Is it a symbol of a Christian's willingness to die for or suffer for Christ?
  • Adam - In Reply - 4 years ago
    It uses the word "destruction."

I don't know if you believe in hell or not. Most Christians do, because the Bible warns us about hell. So, if you believe in hell, the next question is how long does it last? Instant destruction/death, medium term death, long term, or eternity? The Bible uses different synonyms, examples, parables, etc to describe hell. For example, if you keep reading in Matthew 7 verse 19 it calls it a 'fire'. Matthew 8:12 says there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Mark 9:48 says the worm never dies and fire unquenched. 2 Thessalonians 1:9 says "everlasting destruction." I interpret this is not short. Revelation 20:10 also suggests it's not short in duration. Jude 1:7 - uses the word "eternal fire." Matthew 25:46, Matthew 25:41. These are only a handful of examples and I think there are more suggesting that hell is not an instant death. If you find just as many verses saying hell is instant and you die instantly, please share them. I also don't believe the word death or destruction automatically means it's instant. It can happen over a longer period of time. For example Adam and ate the fruit and was condemned to death, but lived 930 years. He became mortal and died just like God said and it wasn't instant, but the death was slow. Is it out of the question to consider the same could be true for hell, especially since many verses say it's eternal?

People will likely interpret the duration differently and we probably won't know for sure until the end. But because of the scripture, the context, that hell is intended to be a punishment for those who disobeyed, I do not believe it is an instant death. I think people will be very sorry and deeply regret they disrespected God and did not take Him seriously and I believe God will fairly see those who chose evil are punished. God bless.
