For the sake of the young reading this, stop referring to "born again" as an ex-backslider seeking the Lord. You dilute the meaning of what Jesus said, zapping my energy. Learn and change your ways for the greater good. Call a spade a spade according to the letter.
The first resurrection ( Revelation 11:12) takes place at the seventh trumpet when the mystery of God is finished. "Raptured" Christians are not part of the army (saints) standing on the hill with Christ, they are no where to be found in Revelation 14:1. If you were "raptured" where did you go that you're not part of God's army? Misleading people about a pipe dream has drawbacks in the eyes of God. Stop perpetuating a popular, yet unsubstantiated lie through false faith and poisonous divination. Christian's that think too highly of themselves will be greatly disappointed when darkness comes. Both the righteous and the wicked will die like they have in previous wars. Know the order, and realize your place according to the grand scheme.
God bless.
If I may without offending, we have four, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John describing this confusing and miraculous day and I feel ( Matthew 28:9) is later in the morning. In Matthew, Mark, and Luke the angels told the women to go tell the 11 that Jesus had risen. In John 20 Mary Magdalene was the first to see the empty tomb and ran and run into Peter and John and they went and she probably went back with them as the other women were arriving, Peter and John went home.
To keep it short; when Jesus met the women, ( Matthew 28:9) they were on their way to tell the 11 when Jesus appeared to them and they held him by his feet. It does not tell us how far they had gone from the sepulchre. You may disagree but that is ok, Matthew 28:9 was after Jesus ascended and returned.
My understanding is when Jesus first ascended in John 20:17, His name was placed above all, what we see in ( Ephesians 1:17-23). Also, I feel this was the fulfillment of the Feast of Firstfruits, as the smoke of the sheaf of the Firstfruits ascended to God, so the Firstfruits of the dead, who is Jesus ascended to God, I feel that was the reason Jesus did not want Mary to touch Him.
Have a great day and God bless,

I have family and friends in the RC system...I can't call it a church. A lot of true Christians left the RC system an excellent book is "50 Years in the Church of Rome". By Charles Chiniquy a RC priest who left and became a Presbyterian minister (sadly today also in the RC system).
I pray our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will bless you and your loved ones. a brother in Christ Dartmouth Nova Scotia Can.
Hebrews 5:9 is speaking about the perfection of Christ. It says, "and being made perfect (Telios/Complete), He became the author of eternal salvation unto all those who obey Him."
A person must surrender their life to Christ in order to be saved. The obedience comes after salvation, after making Jesus Christ the Lord over your life. The flesh will never submit or be obedient to the Lord. It is His Spirit that He gives us, that dwells in us, and persuades us to be obedient to Him. Can a person be disobedient after they are saved? Yes, they can. However the Lord will always deal with a believer who chooses to be disobedient. For those He loves, those who belong to Him, He disciplines, He chastens. And sometimes that discipline can be pretty harsh.
The Lord requires obedience. He requires us to be faithful to Him. But if we slip up and become disobedient, our salvation remains. Jesus Christ purchased our salvation at the cross. He shed His blood to redeem us from sin. His sacrifice was made perfect (Telion). It was a complete and perfect sacrifice.
The completion: It is finished. He has done it all!
today's bible verse and inspiration and prayer on my phone
"Why would the Bible tell someone to drink wine when strong drink is a mocker . Are they talking about grape juice or wine that swirls in the glass?"
Try to understand. When Jesus was born, God had sent His only begotten Son to die for our sins so that we could be reconciled to God.
Jesus was 33 yrs old when He started His ministry. Jesus's first miracle was to turn water into wine. After that the miracles happened more often: the sick were healed, he fed the multitudes with a few loaves of bread and a few fishes, the blind got their sight, the lame walked, demons were cast out, and the dead were brought back to life.
Jesus gave His disciples the authority to preform those same miracles in His name. ( Luke 10:1-20)
When Jesus was crucified and died, and buried, and God raised Him from the dead, and Jesus ascended into Heaven-
His disciples continued on preaching the Gospel of Jesus, and preforming miracles (like healing the sick) until the day when they died.
HOWEVER, the time of miracles was a one time historical event. The miracles were Jesus's credentials that proved He is the Son of God and that God had sent Him.
The miracles ceased when the last original Apostle died. (I think John was the last.)
The Apostle Paul who, wasn't one of the original Apostles was specifically chosen by God to preach the Gospel of Christ to the Gentiles. (Hence, Jesus appeared to Paul on the Damascus road.) When you read the Pauline Epistles you think they were written one after another. When in reality, months or years passed between letters. Paul was a very old man by the time he had written his letters to Timothy. The age of miracles had ceased to where Paul (or Timothy or any other of the other disciples) couldn't heal anyone. So he told Timothy to drink a little wine for his stomach's sake. (the wine helped kill the bacteria that was causing Timothy stomach problems.)
An occasional glass of wine is okay. Alcoholism is not.
