1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 speaks of one. However, you will not find the word "Rapture" used. The phrase you will see is "caught up." The Greek word used for the phrase caught up is the word HARPADZO. The Latin word is RAPTUS, which is where the English word rapture comes from.

Yes, it says when Jesus comes believers will be caught up with him in the air. Beware of those denying scripture.

Lex The question is not Gods ability to forgive the question is the persons being honest in their Heart about what they are doing or want. Getting born again and changing is not lip service! Why do we get bent out of shape and attack one another over translations, I find it extremely valuable in word study so I find it a blessing being amongst a dear Brother that's willing to help in the Greek and Hebrew translation whether by looking it up or by him being educated in the language.

Jesus and the jews back in that day spoke the same language so they didn't have a translation problem,

So when exposing False Teachers Jesus taught them to look past the exterior, and Intellectual abilities and turn your focus towards the INNER MAN.

( If you have the right translation and received virtue from your years of studies there should be a transformation taken place you have no control of.

This is one of those instances where the Greek text gives us clarification on what the English text is saying. When Jesus said "Touch me not," we read that, and it seems like sort of a rude thing to say. It would be like going up to someone we love to hug them, and they say "Don't touch me."

But as brother Chris alluded to, the Greek word used for touch is the word HAPTO. It means to hold on to, cling to, or fasten yourself on to someone. So knowing that, we can better understand what Jesus meant. He was telling Mary to stop fastening yourself onto me. You see, she was not letting go. She was fastened on to Jesus.

In Matthew 28:9, it tells us that she had a "death grip" on His ankles. She was not going to let Him out of her sight again. So Jesus wasn't telling her "don't touch me." He was saying let go, stop clinging to me. There was a reason for this as we see in John 20:17. Jesus says for I am not yet ascended to my Father.

This is where the changeover comes in. This is where Jesus has revealed Himself as the resurrected one to Mary and she's got this grip on Him like she's never going to let go of Him, and Jesus is telling her that she has to let go because He has not yet gone to the Father.

So the changeover is that this is no longer going to be a physical relationship where have to you see me, hear me, and touch me to believe. Now it's going to be by faith. Paul ministered that change in 1 Corinthians 5:7 where he says "For we walk by faith, not by sight." The changeover is going from the natural feelings and human senses, to faith, believing and trusting in Christ and His word in spite what we see or feel.

Jesus wasn't saying "Don't touch me." He was ministering to her about the change that has to take place, which people have to live by faith, not by sight. Don't fasten yourself onto me, for I have to ascend up to the Father. After I ascend, then will I send my Spirit to dwell in you, and my Spirit will cause you to live by faith.

When Christians with renewed minds study the Scripture and rightly divide it, they will learn things. And the more things they learn, the more they know. The problem I've encountered with most self-identified Christians on this site is they may read the Scripture, but they do not study it, and the few who do study it, don't rightly divide it. The Scripture is for reproof and correction in righteousness. As I see it, the self-identified Christian commenters on this site reject reproof and refuse correction. Scripture says a wise man accepts correction and is grateful when he receives it because he cares about truth. Maybe the reason you think that you don't know more than others is that you really don't know more than others. You know a fool can appear wise if he keeps his mouth shut. The problem for fools is they don't know that, so they open their mouths and remove all doubt. I began commenting on this site because I am compelled to share the truths that the Lord Jesus Christ has taught in the Scripture over the past 50 years. Although these truths are for everybody, they are not to everybody. They are to God's elect. "For many are called, but few are chosen." Matthew 22:14 KJV

In this particular case, the fault lies in the leadership and all advisors. They should have consulted the Lord and remembered the instructions given by Moses in how the Ark was to be transported. This also shows how everyone should have known how to approach the Lord. This was not an easy lesson to learn, nor figure out. Verse 3 may give us some light in this situation, as they "...enquired not at it in the days of Saul."

We are some what in this same situation with our relationship with the Lord. Our leaders are ignorant of the things of God, and we as a nation are suffering because of their ignorance. We need to turn back to the Lord and worship Him with all our soul, and all our might.

WHAT IF the first beast in Revelation is Fascism/Communism- which was wounded by the sword in WWll, yet lives-

and the second beast is technology(the first Apple Computer was sold for $666.66-Google it) which has given the corrupt power for the first time in history to monitor every living person on the face of the earth, and can make the image of Fascism and corruption (originated to attempt to restore the Roman Empire through Benito Mussolini)?

The second Beast(Technology) can make the image of the 1st Beast, which was wounded by the sword and did live(WWll was lost and Benito Mussolini hanged, yet his followers continued on) speak, and there is a movement now all over the world to comply with a mindset and hate is directed toward Christians the same way Hitler directed it towards the Jews. The second Beast will have the power that all who will not worship the image of the first Beast to be killed, and no one will be able to buy or sell, unless they have the mark of the 1st Beast(Fascism) which is the number of a man.

Think about it.

And when Christianity is no longer preached, and the Spirit of God no longer pricks the hearts of the wicked(the two witnesses) the world will celebrate and send gifts to one another, and suffer not their bodies(the churches) to be buried.

The Sight of The True Church

In God, love reaches its highest point and is the culmination of His glory. In the man Christ Jesus on the cross, love is at its highest. We owe everything to this love. Love is the power that moved Christ to die for us. In love, God highly exalted Him as Lord and Christ. Love is the power that broke our hearts, and love is the power that heals them. Love is the power through which Christ dwells in us and works in us.

Other than resurrection day, the first day of the week, this was the day of The Feast of Firstfruits. This feast is one of the three feasts that were held in Jerusalem, which is the first day after the Sabbath following Passover. Also, it was the first day of weeks counting the days of seven Sabbaths until the 50th day, which is the second harvest, Pentecost.

The Feast of First Fruits is the first harvest, they could not eat any of this harvest until they brought a sample sheaf to the Temple at sunrise on the first day after the Sabbath following Passover. The priest then waves the sheaf of grain from the first harvest for acceptance by God, the first fruits of the first harvest were offered to God.

Jesus is the First Fruits of those who slept, Mary Magdalene could not touch Jesus before he ascended because no one could partake of him before God accepted him. After he returned, they could touch Him, that is why Jesus told her "Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father".

Just think, sunrise on the morning of the Feast of First Fruits, the priests waving the sheaf of grain left and right before the altar, and the women arriving at the Lord's tomb around the same time. ( Leviticus 23:9-14) ( John 20:17)

Jesus fulfilled the feast of Passover as the Lamb of God, without spot or blemish, without a bone broken, He fulfilled the Feast of Unleavened Bread with a perfect sinless life, He fulfilled the Feast of First Fruits being the first harvest the First Fruits of those who slept, and He fulfilled the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost), the second harvest by sending the Holy Spirit, the first fruits of the Spirit. There are three feasts not yet fulfilled.
