  • THERE IS NO GOD THE GRANDSON mishael - 4 years ago
The Scriptures about the Godhead. Sometimes called "Let Us..." in some passages. These scriptures are evidence of all 3 persons of the Godhead speaking to each other.

    Genesis 1:26, 3:22, 11:7

    Isaiah 6:8

    Romans 1:20

    Colossians 2:9

    Acts 17:27-30

    1 John 5:7

    John 10:30

"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and GODHEAD so that they are without excuse:"

    Genesis 1:1

    The Father purposes

The Word (Jesus) speaks. ( John 1:1)

The Spirit (Holy Spirit) executes the spoken word. Action.

All working together. Jesus came to show us the Father, as Emmanuel.

    Matthew 1:23

Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Jesus came to bring to each born again believer; the baptism and the in-dwelling of the Holy Spirit.

    [ Genesis 1:2, John 3:6, Acts 2:1-3,

    John 16: 7-15]

The word: Grandson is no where in the King James Bible. To teach this to lambs in arms and Gods sheep, is not good.

Let us all Read, 1 Timothy 6. All of it.

We all bear the responsibility to teach the truth.

    Robert Rogers,

When it comes to salvation, Judaism and Christianity are in opposition to each other. I'm not sure that they complement each other at all. One is salvation through keeping the law (Judaism), and the other is salvation by grace (Christianity).

A great study on the difference between the law and grace would be Galatians. It was written because false teachers attacked Paul's ministry and message that salvation was through grace alone, without the deeds of the law.

The Judaizers professed to be believers in Jesus as Messiah. Their doctrinal approach was that the Gentiles were not in a position of Sons of the Covenant to receive the promises of God until they became Jews and they followed the Law. The first law they said that Gentiles must keep is circumcision.

The form of the letter of Galatians was different from all of the other letters written by Paul. It's the only letter not containing a commendation. Paul did not commend the Jewish believers in Galatia because they were mixing law with grace. It is the only letter written by Paul that's addressed to more than one church.

Galatians is a very important book that gives us the difference between Judaism and keeping the law, verses Christianity, salvation by grace alone, through Christ alone, apart from the law.

Galatians is a shorter version of Romans. Romans is considered the Constitution of the Christian Faith. If we only had the book of Romans, we would have everything we need to know about the Christian faith. Galatians is considered to be the Declaration of Independence of the Christian Faith. Our independence and freedom comes through Christ, not the keeping of the law.

Back then, when a Jew would crossover from Judaism to Christianity, it would cost them dearly. Their family would disown them, they would lose their job, and they would not be allowed in their own temple. They would be persecuted. It was as though they were dead to their fellow Jews. It's not much different today!

i am a strong believer in the grace of God, I also believe, that we must have, eternal life before we died. I believe we must died with it. It is our insurance to heaven, one cannot buy insurance after they are dead, so we cannot get eternal life, after we are dead, if we do not died with it. It would be wonderful, if someone that love us so much, would buy us, life insurance after we are dead. but how sad it is, they cannot. neither will anyone will be able to buy us, eternal life, after we are dead. It does not matter how nice the funeral may be, we must have it before, are we will died without.

    Marie,

John chapter 3 verse 12 starts out by saying, "If I have told you earthly things, (That would be the wind from verse 8) and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?"

And then Jesus says in Verse 13, "And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven."

So Jesus is saying that I am the only one that has come down from heaven, But if I tell you earthly things and you don't get it, and you are the master teacher of the Jews? Nicodemus should have associated the Lord's teaching to Ezekiel Chapter 37 Verses 1 through 15.

This is where God takes the prophet and He shows them a valley of dead bones and says this is Israel. Spiritually dead! And He says to him, prophecy over these bones that flesh would come on them. And the bones came together and the flesh came on the bones.

And then He says prophecy to the wind that the wind would blow on them and breathe life in them. And he prophesies and the wind blows and they are filled with life and spirit.

And so God's promise to His people Israel is that you are spiritually dead until my Spirit gives you life. But right now you are spiritually dead!

And He tells Nicodemus, you should have known what I was talking about. How can you be the master teacher in Israel and you don't know anything about being born from above? You don't know anything about the wind blowing, and how the spirit moves!

    Rick,

I like that phrase you used, "Work by inspiration and works by perspiration." That makes a lot of sense when we understand the literal definition of the word faith, which is persuasion. Any work that we do in the flesh (Human work), apart from the persuasion of God's Spirit leading us to do the work, He will not bless that.

The only thing flesh can produce is flesh. Our flesh cannot produce anything spiritual. My personal definition of the word faith would be the presence and activity of God's Spirit in a believer's life. Faith is a fruit of God's Spirit.

When His Spirit persuades us to do the work, that's called faith. Everything else is just human effort/human work, even if we claim to be doing it for the Lord. If He's not in it, if He's not the one giving us the faith (Persuasion) to do it, our labor is in vain.

And amen to the battle taking place in the mind! Paul fought for the believers mind. There is a special word used throughout the Greek New Testament, and it is the word MERIMNA which has to do with anything that occupies the attention of our minds. Satan uses everything in his power to keep us busy, and keep us distracted. He keeps our minds occupied (MERIMNA) so we won't have time to study the word.

Once we are saved, Satan knows he has lost us forever to Christ. He can't touch our spirit/our soul, because in order to do that, he would have to penetrate God's Spirit in us, and that's never going to happen. So the only weapon Satan has against a believer is to occupy the attention of our minds. He pursues us/chases us (DIOKO) and tries to wear us down in order to get us to give up. But as long as we have Christ in us, Satan will never succeed. And Jesus has promised to never leave us!

Amen, that is awesome. Please keep that daily commitment to God's word and never let up. Years ago, a dear friend and brother in Christ gave me an expensive leather bound bible and inside the front cover he wrote these words:

"This book will keep you from your sin, or, your sin will keep you from this book!"

If you want the truth in Scripture, Paul, don't waste your time looking up the Greek and Hebrew words for the meaning of Bible verses and the definition of English words. The KJV translators were superior scholars and were fluent in Latin, Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic. God promised that He would preserve His written word, and He used those 47 KJV translators to do just that. When you read or study Scripture, use a search engine and pull up Webster's 1828 dictionary to look up the definition of a word used in the KJV. Consulting Greek and Hebrew words only leads to conflict and confusion, and God is not the author of confusion. People who consult the Greek or Hebrew for the meaning of verses or the definitions of words are not Greek or Hebrew scholars and do not possess the knowledge to accurately translate the Greek and Hebrew words into English. The KJV translators already did that job more accurately than any of the wannabe translators ever could. Wisdom is justified of all her children Luke 7:35. Peace.

As king Saul's life showed, we cannot live a life of evil while enjoying the benefits of the Lord God Almighty. We must make a decision of the type of relationship we want with the Lord. We risk the safety and protection of God, for the pains and loss of sin.

Lord, bless our country and Your people as we go thru this pandemic, economic crisis, social unrest, and lack of proper leadership on all levels of our government. Shine your face on us, and bless us with your peace and glory.

    Paul,

The word sanctification means set apart. It comes from the Greek word HAGIOS. The words sanctify, sanctification, Holy, and Saint all come from the same word, HAGIOS.

A saint is someone who has been set apart, sanctified (HAGIOS) for God's purposes. The term Holy Spirit describes what kind of Spirit He is. He is a Spirit that has been set apart from all other spirits.

Stop lying saying the vaccine is saving people. Why would doctors and nurses quit their job if the vaccine is safe? Get real people. Almost Everybody that gets blood clots end up on ventilators and most of them die. Non vaccinated people knows they can use Theraflu to get rid of Covid and Ivermectin. Repent all.

    Chun sam,

Luke.22:42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

John.5:30-32 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true. There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true.

John 6:38-40 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

John.14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

John 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

1Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

1 Corinthians 15:25-28 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith, all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

May this help, pray and study and let the Holy Spirit be your guide.

I doubt you will find a Scripture verse stating the Cain was born of the evil one, i.e., Satan. Cain was Adam's first born and because of Adam's sin, Cain inherited a sinful nature, which all men born of women inherit. You man be thinking of these verses from Genesis: "And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him." Genesis 4:6-7 KJV

If you mean sanctification, the words means God's grace acting to make His elect holy by purifying and alienating them from sin and the world. He is making them vessels fit for His use, purpose, and glory.

"But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:" 2Thessalonians 2:13

Jesus, Israel's Messiah, was sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel, not to the Gentiles. "But he [Jesus] answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel." Matthew 15:24 Jesus commanded His apostles to go only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel with the gospel of the kingdom and not to the Samaritans or the Gentiles. "These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Matthew 10:5-7. When Jesus was on earth, Paul says that He ministered to the circumcision, the Jews, and not to the Samaritans or to the Gentiles. "Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:" Romans 15:8. You are mixing Paul's gospel of grace through faith with the gospel of the kingdom that Jesus and the twelve ministered to the circumcision.

This was the same problem that Paul addressed before the counsel in Jerusalem ( Acts 15) and in his letter to the Galatians. Paul said that if anybody, including angels, preached a gospel different from the gospel that he taught the Galatians, which is the gospel of grace through faith, let him be accursed, i.e., excommunicated from the faithful in the church.

Finally, Christians should heed Miles Coverdale's advice when studying Scripture:

"It shall greatly help ye to understand the Scriptures if thou mark not only what is spoken or written, but of whom and to whom, with what words, at what time, where, to what intent, with what circumstances, considering what goeth before and what followeth after."

May the Lord Jesus Christ grant you mercy and renew your mind so that you can accept reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness. Amen.

Genealogy of the tribe of Benjamin from which God chose Saul to be the first king of Israel as the people wanted.

Though we may not recognize these names, God does! Just as My Lord God knows the names of all His righteous children. I am righteous because of the blood of Jesus Christ the Lord God of Heaven, Earth and all the Universe. I am listed in the Lamb's Book of life because I trusted in the Sacred and Blessed work of the Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross at Calvary. "Not of works that I have done, Nothing but the Blood of Jesus"

May the Lord shine His face on all who call on Him. May the joy of the Lord be on you and yours as you walk in His Word and Wisdom. God bless us all as we await the coming of the Lord. May our leaders and those in authority learn to govern righteously and fervently in the Name of The Lord Jesus Christ. September 2021
