Hi Dan Brother believing is the starting place because without believing Romans 10:9+10 you cannot receive the faith of Jesus Christ to have the ability to walk in the grace. Many take no action because they never really believed better known as lip service or not believing in their HEART. Those can't change because they never really believed. There are definitely some people who come to church to be seen, and that's always been the case. People tend to expose their bodies for attention (which they think of as love), or for money; sometimes both (like with actors and actresses on TV). The world has trained everyone to think we need carnal attention or else we're not valuable. All we need is to be pleasing in the sight of God, but we forget that and try to be crowd pleasers. I also wear a little bit of mascara and I color in my eyebrows lightly, because I'm pale and I rubbed off a lot of the hair on my brows trying to fix them when I was younger - doesn't want to grow back, now. But I talk to God about it in my mind pretty frequently, I apologize for thinking I could do a better job than He did on putting me together. :- And I thank Him for being my eyes and guiding my hands while I attempt a slight enhancement - on my own, I can get ham fisted and heavy handed about it. Not to mention asymmetrical. At any rate, I hope He forgives me my little vanities and I do my best to keep my thoughts humble and grateful. He blesses me with so much and keeps me from the struggles I would otherwise create for myself.

Images are an obsession for people in the world, everyone wants to be seen as their best possible image, we just can't see very clearly and don't understand how others are perceiving us. If someone looks like they're lost in worldly ways, they probably are, and we should pray for them to delight in pleasing God instead of striving for the carnal attention of a world that only wants to eat them alive. It's hard, though - I'm not a big fan of mostly naked women parading around town, either - I just keep reminding myself that I don't have any control over it, but God has all the power, and He hears my prayers.

Today l see God's hidden beauty that others are not seeing. For everyone is running in their own turmoil of this morning not yet promised to them. Money, Power, Greed, no heart for the needy. Only caring for me, myself, and l. Evilness is strong in these days. People are believing lies from Satan before going into the words of their Creator. The one who created everything on this Earth for them. The kindness of the Christian's are like a needle in a haystack. For there is few in-between the Evilness that now are around in these days.

Why oh why can't you see the beauty that you should be seeing. God is sadden when He sees His creations going to be controlled by the Evil of these days, and not going to His Words that he has promised in the Bible. Going each morning on your knees to find what He has promised in His Words to carry you through the day. At night, thanking Him for seeing you through another day. And giving yourself to Him before you sleep. Asking for forgiveness of any sin you could of done, and not knowingly how to react. Ask for forgiveness. "Forgive me Father, for l have sinned, and fallen short of your Glory." To say that is to recognize and figure out what you did or thought, from the worlds point of evilness. For God wants you always to be a Blessing to others as His Son Jesus was as He walked on the Earth. So give a thought to this writing of mine, for My God put in my Heart to write, and show how He wants mankind to be, as our world becomes more and more into Revelation Days. Control!!!! Lies!!!! Meanest....Self...for God will start destroying what beauty we have on this Earth faster then now. For mankind has been destroying for some time out of Greed. .Heed my warnings!!!!!

Of course we are tempted. We don't want to fall prey to temptation. I am very familiar with Paul, who said that he does what he doesn't want to do, and doesn't do what he does want to do.

We are tempted to sin, but we don't want to sin. I should have been more clear about that, I apologize. :)

Yes, Faith is the starting place, followed by action/change, and then this will result in Grace from God! We will not get the Grace if we do not change our lives and walk in Christ. Many christians profess "Faith and Grace" but take "no action" to change their behavior nor do they walk in Christ and strive to keep his commandments.

Matthew 7:22

"Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?"

Matthew 7:23

"And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

The Holy Bible and God's Word is not a puzzle as some would like others to believe. The simple, the meek, the humble, and the children will inherit God's Kingdom. With that said, we don't have to get a PhD in theology to understand God's Word because if we are sincere, and humble, LIKE CHILDREN, God's Holy Sprit will teach us THE TRUTH.

Again, the scripture spoken by Jesus is very simple to understand and sums it all up:

John 14:15

"If ye love me, keep my commandments."

Jesus said the commandments (Law) will last until heaven and earth pass/end. Heaven and earth have not passed YET, so the law is still in place!

Matthew 5:18

"For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."

The apostles did strive to keep the commandments, please see scripture below:

1 John 2:3

"And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments."

If we let others lead us away from the TRUTH with the "popular faith and grace argument" we are blinded to the THRUTH!

Mark 7:9

"And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition."

So in summary, we can keep God's commandments and walk in his ways, or follow your own man made tradition, as stated above in Mark7:9

Explain chapter one of first john

Hi Job. There are many Scriptures that explain spiritual growth, but I like 2 Peter 3:18: we are to "grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ". This verse tells me that spiritual growth depends on my relationship to my Saviour - the closer I am to Him, the more I know about Him, & the more I exude His Likeness, all declare the level of growth in my spiritual life. And to do this, I need to spend time in His Word, in communing with Him, & allowing His Spirit to work His Work in my life. Yet, I know there is still much work to be done in my life & this will continue to go on till my entrance into His Presence.

Paul explains the number of 500 that saw the risen Christ! Then He goes on to say that some of them have fallen asleep! This amazing as it may seem, has made me wonder how this could happen! How to fall asleep? How does one fall asleep after seeing such an amazing incident. The incident of Christ appearing before all these people after His resurrections! The scriptures use terms as the conscience being darkened, a sense of seeing yet not seeing. Hearing but not hearing. This confrontation with the holy one, and then how can these things be?

The word faith, is indeed like a grain of mustard seed. The word is the seed! It cannot grow in anything less than good soil! Is faith only a premonition, are these things really happening! The spiritual is not carnal. Earthy is earthy! That which is of the spirit is spirit! Thanks be to God, who guides and directs those who love Him! The holy spirit, lives and reigns even in His word! These words are His words, moving us, even now as they they always have!

And they were Father Son and Grandson that became 12 tribes .We see this great metaphor in the heavenly realm as God the Father ,and God the Son and God the Granson that son that comes out of Christ loins ( his seed etc ) The H.G. that Child of Promise that Jesus said the father wd send in MY NAME ,In my name implies he is the father of the Child , Even in the natural a Child always comes in his Fathers Name. But the H.G is our new innerman that has to be born in us via the seed of Christ the living word thats y the new birth is so important Its Christ means of regenerating himself in us sinners ,Whosoever receives one such child in my name receives me which is the H.G. the Granson, he is the Granson simply b/c he comes out of Christ loins ( his seed ) thats y Isaiah refers to Christ as everlasting Father he is the Father of the H.G. as the H.G cannot be born in US without his seed the word BEING SOWN IN US. thus he is truly the Father of the H.G. When HE breathe on them they received the H.G. HIS BREATH was his words which is his seed.Its God that wants a posterity, It was God the FATHER that made that great Promise of multiplication of Christ seed being multiplied as the stars of heaven thus there is gona be an Israel of God which are spirits that are gona be born in us via the seed of Christ,Without this heavenly trinity which includes a granson ( That heavenly Jacob) n Isaiah 49 the H.G there cannot an Israel of God or the 12 manner of fruit that comes of the throne of God in Rev 22 . I just want to say thanks for the book. I don't know how much time I have left living it's getting really difficult for me in any part of my life. I am actually terminally I'll. I have condition with my entire spine it's getting worse in all forms please just pray I live past my 50's plus I have a known thing called breathlessness.
