Dors not cancel what Jesus said or what Paul says to sin no more. 1st John 1:8 is not at all saying "if we say we have no sin that we commit everyday we deceive ourselves. 1st John 1:8 is referring to 1st John 1:3-4 writing to people how to have fellowship with John to be called a Christian and not a sinner any more as all sin is of the devil period 1st John 3:8. When we come to Christ we where all sinners as all has come short of the glory of God Romans 3:23. John is giving out the plan of salvation how to be saved.

All means all not just one or two things in your life. Jesus never died for one sin or two things he died so all sin can be washed forgiven and forgotten.

Get out of get into verse 9 to confess your sin. If you want to be in verse 8 be my guess, you are going to roast, you are going to burn. Verse 9 tells me he is just and able to forgive all sin and NOT just not one or two things.

1st John 1:9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

[10] If we say that we have not sinn((ed)), we make him a liar, and his word is not in us

According to the bible in 1st John 1:6, you are the liar as you claim salvation, you claim fellowship to be a brother of Jesus Christ, and yet you are still walking like the devil hand in hand with him. Obviously, you were told a lie believing you are walking with Jesus when in reality you are walking with the devil in sin.

1st John 1:6] If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness,((sin)) we lie, and do not the truth:

[7] But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

We are to be dead unto sin once Romans 6:10-12. Jesus died unto sin once and not over and over to sin and repent as you are calling Jesus a liar and putting him to an open shame. No sinner can make heaven no matter how you slice it as all sin is of the devil.

There is nothing new under the sun. Amen. I shall answer this part,"Jesus feeding the multitude was to show who he was the new King of the Jews the Son of God the messiah as promised, this was foreshadowing Jesus. According to 2nd Kings 4:38-44. He was not there to the will of God which is complete and for this reason he avoided being made a king by a section of the people John 6 :14-15. He categorically rejected the idea and he testified,"My kingdom is not of this world" ( John 18:36)

God sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions" (Ps.107:20) Prophet Isaiah connects this to the word gone out of his mouth that shall never return to him in void. (Is.55:11) So Elijah raising the son or Elisha healing the pottage were all done as a stand in for Jesus who is the Word become flesh.

Multiplying of loaves in the Gospel must be set in context of Ec.11:1-2. "Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days./ Give a portion to seven, and also to eight." The same verse from Isaiah and the Spirit refers to the manner Jesus died ,perfecting the will concerning him (number seven) and preaching unto souls in prison (number eight). Narrative mode of the Spirit and usage of numbers have been covered so the newness to which you allude makes our born again experience as 'new'. It is only in terms of it. The new heaven and new earth is subjective experience of every saint redeemed from the earth. God shall never require correction or recall of his will. (Re.21:1)

Ge.1:1 is annotated by He.11:3 His word made the worlds appear by faith. The earth is the visible image of God so the Preacher says, "The earth abides forever"(Ec.1:4) All things are set in context of the Son. "All things were created by him, and for him:/ And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.(Col.1:16-17) So Elisha serves as a double for the Son, and every other holy men of old.

Thank you! The seed that was sown among thorns never brought fruit to perfection also. Also, St. John 1 said we have received of his fulness. I thought I was the only one that ran across the scriptures you gave. It is easier life to live under the cross and our failures than to follow the gospel be transformed by the Holy Spirit and live under His direction. The keep continuing in failure is really no better than the old law. Hebrews 10:1 "For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect".

Wikipedia article for Michael, and at the Protestant section it states:

Citing Hengstenberg, John A. Lees, in International Standard Bible Encyclopedia, states: "The earlier Protestant scholars usually identified Michael with the pre-incarnate Christ, finding support for their view, not only in the juxtaposition of the 'child' and the archangel in Rev 12:1-17, but also in the attributes ascribed to him in Daniel." Charles Haddon Spurgeon, a Trinitarian, stated that Jesus is Michael "the only Archangel", and that he is God the Son, and co-equal to the Father. In Spurgeon's view, "archangel" means "head of the angels" rather than "head angel," and is a title similar to "Prince or Leader of the host." ( Daniel 8:11)

John Wesley: "Michael here is commonly supposed to mean Christ."

John Gill:"and is no other than Christ the Son of God, an uncreated angel who is 'one' or the first of the chief princes."

The early Protestant leaders believed this.

I'm sorry, my mistake, but I don't seem to be able to say what I mean clearly. I understand and agree with what you are teaching in these comments wholeheartedly. What I was asking you was, why in your comments when the 2 Corinthians verses are highlighted in red so you can place your cursor on it and it gives you the whole verse the link doesn't give the verse but says there's no text of those verses in the KJB which, of course, they are.. Maybe you can't see it but even in this last reply it does it. I know you don't mean for it to, but it's basically saying those verses are not in the KJB. I won't bother you anymore with this. I do admire what you have said in your comments that these people in the world are evil and we are to keep ourselves separate from them. Thank you for your patience. :)

I attached a link to a source but this site blocked it. No external links allowed.

The Protestant church called Seventh Day Adventists teach on this point. Go to: Seventh Day Adventist Church Biblical Research Institute. Search on the Adventist website: is Michael another name for Jesus. Dated February 13, 2012.

The Seventh Day Adventists chose this name because they keep the seventh day sabbath. The Adventists eagerly look forward the soon return of Christ. Additionally, they teach the three angels message from Revelation. "Worship God, Babylon has fallen, come out of her, my people".

    Shabbat Keeper"

    Genesis 2:1-3

1Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. 2 And on the seventh Day GOD ended his work which he had made;and he rested on the seventh Day from all his work which he had made.3 And GOD blessed the seventh Day,and sanctified it:because that in it GOD had rested from all His work which GOD created and made.

In fact,in the beginning,i.e. in JESUS was the Word, the Word is GOD,understand? And by/through JESUS all things created by GOD the Father were made by JESUS;and without JESUS was not any thing made that was made, understand?

On the other hand, when GOD planned to restore or restitution ALL THINGS in six Days- Acts 3:20-21-, and to rest in the seventh Day, in fact ALL THINS which GOD described in His plan- Genesis 1- He called those things which were not as though they were. GOD is Omnipotent, Ominscient and Ominpresent. When GOD said in to rest in the seventh Day, He was speaking and revealing of His rest in this CURRENT MILLENNIUM,that is the seventh and last millennium or seventh and last Day.

For your better understanding, you must remember that JESUS,the Greater Light, was sent by GOD the Father around 4000 years after Adam,or around 2000 years ago.In fact it still was the fourth Day, understand? GOD,the Father, was still WORKING when He sent JESUS here, understand?Even my Lord JESUS said and revealed that the Father still was working- John 5:17:

JESUS said still in the fourth Day:My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.In fact, the sixth Day has just ended,we have just entered the seventh and last Day,we are living in the beginning of the last millennium, the blessed seventh and last Day of the rest of GOD the Father. From now on JESUS takes command of the Universe

Be careful and get ready. From Adam until JESUS passed around 4000 years

From JESUS until this current time have passed around 2000 years. The sixth GOD's Day just finished. We are living exactly the turn of the sixth to the seventh Day.

    Get ready

You are not understanding what I am saying. Jesus ETERNAL. He is the WORD. Jesus created everything. Jesus is God.Jesus is not a created being. Since Jesus is eternal, what was he doing before born? Think about it. What was he doing?

His name was Michael the archangel. The leader of the angels. God was living among his creation, the angels.

    How is that far fetched?

YOU CANNOT HAVE FAITH WITHOUT PRODUCING GOOD WORKS.

James, 1:25- But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed

James, 2:14- What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?

James, 2:18- 18] Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

James, 2:22-Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

James, 2:24 -Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

James, 2:26-For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

    EVENTUALLY

If works are not present after knowing the truth in the word of God and accepting it, it is because your faith is false.

(Faith = believe)in the word of God and put it into(practice = works)so the works come automatically otherwise it is faith does not come from God and this faith cannot save you!!

    THE FAITH

    GRACE

    REPENTANCE

    PRACTICE GOOD WORKS

    BAD WORK = SIN

GOOD WORK = SAVE AND SANCTIFY

It is good works that demonstrate that a person is saved

    You cannot(BELIEVE = FAITH)in the word without

(PRACTICE = WORK)and you cannot(PRACTICE = WORK)without having heard, received and believed in the word.

Pay attention to what follows to fully understand all of the words of the Lord who teaches us in righteousness and mercy through his son Jesus Christ.

ATTENTION: Beware of false teachers, pastors, prophets.

    HERE IS THE CONTROVERSIAL VERSE

Ephesians, 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

    (it is by grace that you are saved);

    FOR WHAT

Because it is used without taking into consideration the entire Bible.

LET'S START, FOLLOW ME WITH YOUR BIBLE!

Titus, 1:16 They professthat they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Ephesians, 2:10- For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Philippians, 1:6 - Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Hebrews, 13:21 - 21] Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Titus, 2:7- In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing

    Colossians, 1:10- That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

    WARNING

Romans, 13:12 -The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the worksof darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

Ephesians, 5:11 - And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works ofdarkness, but rather reprove them.

    GOD JUDGES WHAT????

1 Peter, 1:17- 17] And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

Romans, 2:6 - Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

YOU CANNOT HAVE FAITH WITHOUT PRODUCING GOOD WORKS.

You wrote: "Until we draw the last breath , we must battle. And, the battle is ourselves!"

But the battle is not ourselves only, "but against the wiles of the Devil, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places, wherefore take unto you the whole armour of GOD, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand- Ephesians 6:11-13".

    Revelation 16:13-15

13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs(why frogs?) come out of the MOUTH of the dragon, and out of the MOUTH of the Beast(Beast of sea- Revelation 13:1-10), and out of the MOUTH of the false prophet (the false messiah, FALSE LAMB- Revelation 13:11- AN IMPOSTOR- John 5:43-47. Take a look.)

14 For they are the spirits of devils (a saatanic trinity), working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great Day of GOD Almighty (that is the Lord's Day, the seventh nd last Day or seventh and last millennium, the current millennium).

    15 Behold, I come as a thief.

Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

Daniel 12:12 - Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

Daniel 12:10 - Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

God does not change, it is his covenant changed.

    2nd Cor 3:sufficiency is of God;

[6] Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

[7] But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:

[8] How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?

[9] For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.

[10] For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.

[11] For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.

[12] Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:

[13] And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:

[14] But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

Hebrews 8: 7] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.

[8] For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

[9] Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.

[10] For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

I hope you have a nice week brother Spencer. I have been thinking a good part of the day of the relationship between the sacredness of life and it's relationship in the Church with a present reign in Christ and non-resistance in doctrine. One small thought is everything belongs to God. So Paul says greet the brethren with a holy salutation, we can prove love this way, even a little bit on an online forum.

    God bless you.

Hi Momsage. About your concern on "no matching KJB text": if a contributor writes out a Scripture reference that this KJBO Site engine doesn't recognize, then you will get that warning. Quite some time ago, KJBO put out information on what were the acceptable ways of writing Scripture (sorry, I can't find that information now). But in the case of " 2nd Cor 6:[14]", this wouldn't be acceptable because of the brackets used. I always spell the verse/passage out in full (even though it takes up more character spaces), e.g. 2 Corinthians 6:14, as I know the reader can just hover the pointer over the reference to see it rather than go to the Bible verse. Hope that helps sort this out for you.

Thank you Jema for your reply. On the Isaiah 13:12 reference, we would find no agreement at all, as the verse, when understood naturally & in context refers to the scarcity of human life during those times of the LORD's intervention & destruction. If you are finding Jesus in there (i.e. "I will MAKE A MAN more precious than fine gold"), then that would have to be a personal discovery rather than a textual truth.

And likewise with Colossians 3:10, the text doesn't allow for such an interpretation (i.e. of God creating Jesus). Paul is writing about two 'persons': the new man (i.e. the human being renewed by the Spirit), and of God (Who creates in His (God's) Image). So, it doesn't speak of Jesus, but of man who was once created in God's Image (Adam), & then after the fall, that image was marred, which necessitated a re-creation of that image in man. And to do this, man had to be changed inwardly (becoming a 'new man'), who now is being "renewed in knowledge" into the image of the One (God) Who created him (man). Yes, we do have 2 Corinthians 4:4 & Colossians 1:15 to support your use of 'image' as to Christ's 'creation', but we also have Genesis 1:27 & 1 Corinthians 11:7 to support man being made in God's Image. But to put Christ in Colossians 3:10 would violate the point of that verse which is directed to man's renewal.

Lastly, you wrote that you "don't really relish the idea of a big debate". That puzzled me since you initiated those questions for our responses. If we gave responses without 'debate/discussion', then the whole exercise would be entirely fruitless & pointless. So maybe you just wanted to share your understanding of those verses, but not willing to defend your beliefs; and these matters (of Christ's Divinity, eternal judgement, etc.) are vital to Christians & also in the preaching of the Gospel. Without these fundamentals, we have no Gospel - we have no message of liberty & hope to share with a lost world.

    Good evening friends,

I would like to ask for prayer for my son, Rob. He will be starting TMS therapy for depression beginning tomorrow, since medications have not been effective for him. This therapy involves repetitive magnetic pulses delivered to the brain. It is FDA approved and has had very promising results for many people. Please pray that God will cause this therapy to be effective in stimulating long repressed cranial nerves to begin working properly again and to suppress the working of cranial nerves that lead to negative thought patterns and depressed mood.

I pray for him often, but did just pray yesterday for God to bring healing to the physical aspects of his brain that promote depression. And here today, he informs us of this new therapy he will begin tomorrow. I am happy to know that there are some new medical therapies to treat depression. Praise the Lord for this breakthrough.

I certainly appreciate all who would be led to pray for Rob. The therapy is a 5 days a week half-hour session for 4-6 weeks. He may need to take time off of work to make appointments since the clinic is almost 2 hours away, so would be a half of a work day off each day. Pray that all works out that he can et morning appointments so he can get to work in the afternoons to evenings at his present job. He gets insurance from this job, so he needs to retain it.

    Thank you.

    Hello,again

Shabbat Keeper, where in the Bible does it say that Michael the archangel is God?
  • GiGi - In Reply - 1 year ago
    Dear Shabbat Keeper,

Again, I do not think that believing that a person lives on without a body after death necessarily leads to spiritism. That is an

    erroneous assumption.

I do not think, though, that our dead loved ones in Christ are watching over us and involved in our life here. I believe that they

are with the Lord and that involves not knowing what is happening here on earth. That is what the Scripture is talking about

when it says that the dead know nothing-that is, nothing of the goings on of this world and life.

Eternal life is received when we believe and when we die, only our body dies. But eternal life is a completely different kind of life

that earthly life. it is a completely different realm of existence, of which we cannot pierce the veil in this life, nor can those

believers who have passed from death into life pierce the veil between eternal life and earthly life.

I guess we will just have to accept that we differ in our views on this and we will find out when we die what is true.
  • GiGi - In Reply - 1 year ago
    Dear Shabbat Keeper,

I have never advocated communicating with the dead. But I do believe that the Bible teaches what Jesus said that those who believe in Him, though one dies, will live forever.

    Hello, Shabbat Keeper.

My understanding of the Sabbath commandment is to rest on the 7th day, but not a commandment to go to church. So going to

Sunday worship services is perfectly permissible but not mandatory. And the Sabbath rest for believer is in Christ Jesus-

Heb. 4:3-rather than a specific day of the week. The commandment is a shadow of what was to come in Christ. We rest

everyday in Him because we do not work for our salvation in any way. He did the work of salvation for us. It is still good practice

to have times of rest during the week, whether a day or specific times of each day.

If you wish to keep the Sabbath as was proscribed by the OT law, you are free to do so. And if one keeps every day the same,

that is permissible according to Romans 14:5.

You said "Before Jesus was born in Bethlehem, what was he doing? He was living among his angels, as Michael".

What you are preaching is not true, but a false interpretation of the Word of GOD.

Michael was never born from the womb of Mary, Michael was never the Word made flesh as you suggest and are preaching, actually, what you are preaching it is tares invented by the spirit of lie, or rather, invented by the father of lie- John 8:44-45.

By the way, my Lord JESUS Himself sent Michael for this War against the old Serpent, called the Devil and Satan, now in the time of Apocalypse also called the great Dragon - Revelation 12:9. Take a look.

Furthermore, we which are alive and remain unto the coming of my Lord JESUS shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven(in His coming) with a shout, with the voice of the archangel -MICHAEL-, and with the trump of GOD: and the dead in Christ shall rise first (as is written in Daniel 12:1-3): Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them to meet the Lord: and so shall we ever be with the Lord, according to the preaching of Paul Apostle to the Church of Thessalonians. 1 Thessalonians 4. Take a look.

You must to re-study the matter and to stop preaching that satanic lie of the father of lie. In fact, the battle, the War, is against him and his messengers, not against you in person.

The Word is GOD, self-executable, understand?

Not justified to remain a sinner, we are justified to be the image of the Son of God. If I am the image of the Son of God Jesus Christ, how can I be the image of the devil st the sametime? You have to ve dead to one sin (the devil) to be alive unto another righteousnes (Jesus Christ). Jesus never died to establish a new type of sinner called a Christian sinner, God forbid. Jesus died so sinners can be Christians can be holy.

Romans 3:24] Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

[25] Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of -->sins that are past, being now

I was preaching 2nd Cor 6 &7. We have to come out of the churchs to be a seperate people. Come out from among them.

2nd Cor 6:14] Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

[15] And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

[16] And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

[17] Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

[18] And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

2nd Cor 7:1] Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
