Hello Aura. The canonized Book Ecclesiastes never became Ecclesiasticus. Ecclesiastes was penned by King Solomon, son of David, of Jerusalem ( Ecclesiastes 1:1) around 935 BC. The other book you referred to, Ecclesiasticus, is what we call an Old Testament Apocryphal Book, which along with several others, were considered unsuitable to be included in the Canon of Scripture we have now, nor accepted by the Jews. Various tests were applied to those apocryphal books & they failed. Ecclesiasticus was written by a Jewish scribe, Ben Sirach of Jerusalem around 200-175 BC. Do you have a problem with a verse in the KJV & the apocryphal book? None of the KJV verses pertain to the apocryphal books. However, the 1611 version of the KJV had the apocryphal books included.

The person have this understanding, but as we know. Every thing is made for Him. Alsow the time, and all knowlegde as in 1 Chorintians 3. 18- 23

I'll think the person have fear of death, becouse in the v after it stands, 23 I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years are throughout all generations.

    Kevin,

We know that in John 2:19, Jesus said destroy this temple (speaking of His body) and I will raise it up. So Jesus said He would raise His own body from the grave.

It is interesting, because we read that right before Jesus died, He dismissed His Spirit. His body was laid in the tomb, but we also read that during those three days while His body laid in the grave, He went into the lower parts of the earth, to a place called Hades, and He released the Old Testament saints. So His Spirit was separate from His body.

I believe that after that took place, Jesus then raised His physical body from the grave, as He said He would do. I believe Jesus had the power to raise Himself. We know He has resurrection power, as we read in the account of Him raising Lazarus from the grave.

I also believe that Jesus is God. He is God the Son. I believe also in God the Father, and God the Holy Spirit. All three, co-equal, and co-eternal, and all three being one God.

    Barney,

Jesus was making a comparison between the flood back in Noah's day to what is going to take place before His future judgment comes. In Noah's day, people were being warned but they mocked Noah. All those years while Noah was building the ark, the people must have thought he was crazy. A flood? Right! Up to that point, they had never even seen rain. And he's talking about God's judgment coming in the form of a flood? Even after Noah and his family entered the ark, the people were still living life as usual as if nothing was going to happen. And then the rain and the flood came. Do you think they were still mocking while they were drowning in the water?

It will be the same when Christ comes. People today are being warned but they also, like in Noah's day, they are mocking the gospel message. So Jesus is making a comparison.

Here's something very interesting. After God shut the door on the ark, do you know how long it was until it started raining? One week! That is prophecy. After the door was shut, they still didn't know it. That is why it says they didn't know it until the flood came. The flood came and took them all away. It was life as usual until it came, and it was sudden, and it was quick, and it was unexpected.

It will be the same when the Lord returns for His church. Back in Noah's day, the Lord saved Noah, his wife, his three brothers, and their wives. He saved them from the flood. It will be the same for believers. Jesus will come and remove His church from this earth, and just the same as the door of the ark was shut, when Christ removes us prior to His wrath being poured out on this earth, the door will be shut. There will be many outside the door pleading to be let in just to hear Jesus say depart, I never knew you. Just like those who mocked in Noah's day and were left out once the door was shut, it will be the same after Christ takes us away and shuts the door, as we see in Matthew chapter 25 with the parable of the 10 virgins.

  • S Spencer - In Reply on 1 Peter 1 - 4 years ago
    Hi Kevin.

Great question, We have the verse you mentioned.

    God

1 Peter 1:21. Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

    Holyspirit.

Romans 8:11. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

    Jesus.

John 10:17-18. Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.

No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

    God bless.

    Amen Brother Dan.

Here's a few that is over looked.

Hosea 5:14-15. For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him.

Look below at verse 15, The same "I" in verse 14 is the same "I" in verse 15. and He in verse 15 is a prophesy of Christ after his ministry and his 2nd coming.

Verse 15: I WILL GO AND RETURN TO MY PLACE, TILL THEY ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR OFFENCE, AND SEEK MY FACE: IN THEIR AFFLICTION THEY WILL SEEK ME EARLY.

    Here's another.

Isaiah 40:3-5 . The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, MAKE STRAIGHT IN THE DESERT A HIGHWAY FOR "OUR GOD".

Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:

And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

Malachi 2:17. YE HAVE WEARIED THE LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or,

( WHERE IS THE GOD OF JUDGMENT?)

    Next verse-

Malachi 3:1. BEHOLD, ("I") WILL SEND "MY" MESSENGER, AND HE SHALL PREPARE THE WAY BEFORE ME: ( AND THE LORD, WHOM YE SEEK,) shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. ( This is easily established that this is God speaking, )

God came as mentioned, "JESUS" and John the baptist prepared the way for him.

    ( EMMANUEL.) -God with us.

    Matthew 1:23.

See here In Matthew 11:10. For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

    God bless.

The Word If you want to focus on what's specifically written to the Church of God That's Romans thru Thessalonians that is what was Given to the apostle Paul by revelation from Jesus Christ Galatians 1:11+12 But I certify you brethren that the gospel which was preached of me was not after man. verse 12 For I neither received it of man neither was I taught it but by revelation of Jesus Christ. But remember all scripture is profitable. In His Service

Sarah Louise Vines Hello and God Bless First there is no tie in to covid vaccine and mark of the beast, also the Church of the Body of Christ will be up and away before the beast or the antichrist or the son of perdition is in power. These things will not go into full power until the church is taken up. P.S. If you got the covid shot your not going to hell if your born again. I have no idea where so called christians get this info from but it is not in scripture. In His Service

Dear Brother Spencer, Thank you for your love. If we want to know the love of our hearts to the brethren then we must be close enough to our brethren where they can see our conversation in life and reprove us as necessary. We can write here and quote scripture but it is difficult to see the love and humility within our lives, the same that the thirsty may witness. So there is the Church where we can greet with the Holy kiss and wash each others feet and hear and see the testimony of the faithful and see the parents teach the children and see hopefully in due time the same answer their call to God. Children becoming brothers and sisters in Christ increases our faith. The Spirit unifies these believers to make them of one heart and mind. But most importantly loving God with all their heart and mind and their neighbors as themselves.

    :)

    Hi Brother Carleton.

It has been a busy week. Sorry for my late response.

1 John 2:1-2. is straight forward and a blessing to the whole world if the receive it.

Here is where I believe Is one of the most ignored and misunderstood sections in the scripture, considering its importance. ( NOTICE WHAT I HAVE HIGHLIGHTED )

1 John 2:3. And HEREBY WE DO KNOW THAT WE KNOW HIM, if we keep his commandments.

He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: HEREBY KNOW WE THAT WE ARE IN HIM.

He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.

Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.

HE THAT SAITH HE IS IN THE LIGHT, AND HATETH HIS BROTHER, IS IN DARKNESS EVEN UNTIL NOW.

( He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.)

BUT HE THAT HATETH HIS BROTHER IS IN DARKNESS, AND WALKETH IN DARKNESS, AND KNOWETH NOT WHITHER HE GOETH, BECAUSE THAT DARKNESS HATH BLINDED HIS EYES.

( This is divinely done by the Holyspirit, it's not left up to you! This is part of the gathering together, bound together by one Spirit.) "HEREBY we know" WE CAN KNOW!! The Spirit don't lie. So we should examine ourselves to see if the Holyspirit worketh in us. Confirmed ( NOT BY YOUR DOCTRINE ). But by Love for the BRETHREN.

    Here's more-

John 13:34-35. A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Peter understood what level of Love this is in John 21:15-17.

    God bless.

Kevin In the context of 1 Peter starting at verse 19 But with the precious blood of Christ as of a lamb without blemish and without spot verse 20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world but was manifest [brought into physical evidence] in these last times for you. This is talking about Jesus Christ, 21 Who by him Jesus Christ do believe in God that raised Him Jesus christ from the dead and gave him Jesus Christ glory that your faith and hope might be in God. Hello Brother Rick, We never knew what peace and rest were until that born again moment. Peace was always evasive until that moment of repentance and forgiveness by the Holy Ghost at Calvary. Now we carry that peace with us as lambs if we remain faithful to the calling. We know when that peace diminishes yet like a well trained horse for the smallest needed change in direction in order to keep His peace we will gently heed. A blessing of sanctification really and a witness to the thirsty.

Thanks brother Carleton. Great to hear from you. Our peace is in Christ Jesus. He dwells in us and He is our peace!

Carleton In the scriptures Romans 5:1 Therefore we have been justified by faith we have peace with God through our lord Jesus Christ as long as we are faithful in our walk. I don't see losing the peace of God spiritually but if we get caught up in the things of the world we will lose the effectiveness or fruits of that peace of God.

We have the righteousness of God also we have been redeemed or bought back and we are sanctified or set apart but again if an individual chooses not to change than what he's been given is of no effect.

The work of the walk is an individuals mindset to the word, and the choice to do it Gods way. Most christians do a pick and choose why because it fits what they like. The idea is to Let Go and Let God. Just some of my observations In His Service

    The book of revelation was revealed to John; the beloved disciple of Christ; who else deserve to receive this reward because John has loved Jesus more than the others disciples, his true and intense love is agape and genuine, not Evil desire on it, but love God. ( Revelation 1:4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;), (Revelation1:9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. Revelation 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,) And even the scholar of the universities did not understood Paul when he declared that he knew a man, in Christ Jesus that was foretold things that he can not say it. ("Awesome"), By the Holy Spirit help you will know it. {

    2nd Corinthians 12:2 I knew a man, (John the beloved disciple of Jesus,) in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knows;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. (John the beloved disciple of Jesus,), 2nd Corinthians 12:3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knows;), (Paul can not tell because was not his own experience, but John can and he revealed in Revelations 1:10), 2nd Corinthians 12:4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. 2nd Corinthians 12:5 Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities. (bad sight,) 2nd Corinthians 12:6 For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he sees me to be, or that he hears of me.}

Rick, thanks for the advice. I do stay with the The King James version and though I get bogged down in the "speech" I still keep going. I am reminded of the scripture Jesus said one time I believe it's in John 16:13 "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:...." (or Comforter as He said in the prior chapter) or Holy Ghost as he said in John 14:26:"but the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost,..."anyway I am comforted in the fact that though I may fall short in understanding the Word of God, the Holy Bible, I know the Holy Ghost that I have( with the evidence of speaking in tongues) will lead me into all truth, and show me things to come. In Christ's Love.

    Hebrews 11:5

"By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God."

    Ecclesiasticus 44:16

"Enoch pleased the Lord, and was translated, being an example of repentance to all generations."

    Genesis 5:24

"And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him."

SO WAS ELIJAH: 2nd Kings Chapter 2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. 2nd Kings 2:12 And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces. (ELISHA was witness of it.)
