I did the google search on exactly how we impeach or force out dangerous legislators. Who will ante up and do that?!

Instead they are packing the Supreme Court with more seats for Democrats. AND THEY ARE SYSTEMATICALLY REWRITING OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS !!

I'm with you there Lighton , often when I read posts on here I have wondered , has the person read it all ? Have they treated the whole thing with respect ? Not just the knew Testament ? Did they get to know God through the Old Testament before they got to know Jesus ? Do they respect all the Words of God or just the ones that back up their preconceptions and already formed mind sets ? Some times I honestly feel as if they have just typed one word in a search engine and quoted every verse with that word in . My Bible is paper ,with no references at all in it ,and I've never ever used a search engine . My search engine is my brain , and you cant search in a brain for something unless it's already there in your brain because you have read it all many times .

In Hebrew, the word is 'chokmah' & the feminine gender is assigned to it. In English, Wisdom would have no gender (a neuter word), & we would just refer to it as "it".

There are people who pretend to be decent, and behind closed doors they commit prosecutable felonies--dangerous crimes against people who can do nothing back. They prey on their children--no matter how tiny or how old, they prey on their elderly parents as well. GOD sees all their wickedness, and if any of their victims try to get out of such abusive situations, GOD may will not to help their victims. These thrown away people may be the "trash" that society sees on the street. The abusers/monsters, may be the PTA dad, or the stat at home mother, always available to swoop in and "rescue" her sick daughter...even if she caused her sickness (the mother, that is) herself. The victims may speak out, but because the abusers build up their name in "public" people are quick to dismiss "oh your mother loves you!" even if they've never even MET the victim's mother. I see the pain, the abandonment, the further degredation by society once these children grow up to become "losers." They may never brake Man's law but they may be poor, or crippled, or bare physical damage to their appearance caused by their abusers, and seen as "less than," or garbage by society. They may be kind, honest, and sane but their clear lack may cause fear in the eyes of those GOD has not so cursed. These people need prayer to believe that the Holy Bible is true, when all of their years and decades of prayer, fasting and trying to walk as Abraham, Job, Daniel, Noah, etc don't move the LORD to seem to care, or "be." I once asked a woman who was poor and suffered from MS, if she believed in GOD, or Christianity. She seemed to want to hide her doubts from me, but I could understand why she would not, as cold as it was that November night. I do not know if the GOD of the Holy Bible is correct...if the Holy Bible is correct. I believe in a Brilliant Creator GOD, please pray that the Almighty TRUE GOD will PLEASE speak to me/tell me who He is NOW, please. I hope in Christ, but much abuse has rendered doubt

I like to believe that I am faithful to Jesus and have been most of my life! There have been times when things were not easy, but we never went without. God blessed me with a mind, and a will too work and make a good living. He has fulfilled his promises. As a matter of fact, my life at one time was as Job. Now, I can say like him that god has doubled and in some cases tripled my health, property, and children. All these things I lost a one time. The bible is true, only if you believe it and what it says, and not what someone else says! Such as Jobs friends could be like ours, who say curse God.

Well Chris it's not elusive to me , I have read it many times over the years but did not think much of it as some of us know God is the eternal Spirit and creator of all things invisible and visible . Also the God of all men including Jesus . But many can not fathom that fact .

What the Lord taught me is many do not read the Bible as I do . Rather they read men's books on the Bible and also search engines more recently and they are terrible for leaving out verses . Computers are destroying the truth if that's how you get your information these days . How many verses are omitted and never heard ? Plenty is my guess .

Like google that has its preferred customers on the top of the page and many never get viewed or on page 100 that no one reads .

People need to get back to reading the hard copy Bible and let God use it as intended .

The power of this same spirit that lives in man ,would go forth and conquering the Goliaths of the world. Conquering even their hearts and minds, that they might see the truth. Opening the eyes of the blind, coming to the knowledge that we must live, excepting who we are and the differences in us! Growing in the knowledge that comes from having confidence in the creator of all things, both here and now, into eternity! I believe there is 2 keys to these passages starting from John 15:1-12.

For starters Jesus says I am the "true" vine. I think that was in contrast of Israel being a degenerate vine.

Jeremiah 2:21. Yet I had planted thee a noble vine, wholly a right seed: how then art thou turned into the DEGENERATE PLANT OF A STRANGE VINE UNTO ME?

Israel done things be ordinances and command, The law couldn't change you from within.

I believe the key here is who's PRODUCING the fruit.

John 15:4-5. Abide in me, and I in you. As THE BRANCH CANNOT BEAR FRUIT OF ITSELF, EXCEPT IT ABIDE IN THE VINE; NO MORE CAN YE, EXCEPT YE ABIDE IN ME.

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: FOR WITHOUT ME YE CAN DO NOTHING.

This phrase means that Jesus will fellowship with the believer. The idea is this: "He who abides in me, with me abiding in him." There is a dynamic with Christ that takes place when believers allow Christ to abide in them. The person who has Christ abiding in him or her bears "much fruit." I believe with Christ in you, What ever you ask for will be in his will for you.

Like Jehu, we can get rid of the "big" sins in our lives and yet still be "away" from God in our true relationship with Him. We may find ourselves missing our Bible reading, for what ever reason. Not praying due to circumstances in our day. However, God knows those situations we face, and He is merciful and graceful towards our short comings.

We must therefore assess our daily walk, repent and confess our sins and choose to please and glorify our God.

May we love the Lord and carry out His will. There is much to bring before the throne of Grace of God. The situation in Afghanistan, current pandemic, our economy, our social and political turmoil but to name a few. Most of all, the many people who are facing eternity without the Lord Jesus Christ in their souls.

May we prove to be faithful stewards in His name.

Discernment and prayer should be used before automatically assuming every verse in the Bible applies to us. There were many specific instructions to people in certain circumstances in certain times, in certain places. For example: if I read Jonah 3:2 it says go to Ninevah- does that me I myself must go to Ninevah right now? Or do you think this is historical for our benefit to see how God instructed Jonah to go there?

How about Genesis 6:14. If I read that, does that automatically I need to build an ark? Did God say that to me and only to me?

Now, let's go back to your Tobit verse- does that truly mean what you say it means? Did you pray and ask God about it and see any confirmation from Him?

What about other followers of God in the Bible who had mixed race spouses? I personally do not believe your interpretation applies as I do not see evidence for it. A current political movement is aimed at dividing people and making people feel entitled. It is deceptive and evil and I believe it's from satan and not God, based on the fruit and lies of this movement. I believe God over man. I will follow God over man and He said this: Galatians 3:28. Jesus was to be of the HOUSE "and" LINEAGE of David. "This is not synonymous " Jesus was to be of the seed of the woman. Hear you have the LINEAGE. Which goes through Nathan.

I believe Sacha was right. The account in Luke is Mary's Genealogy. focusing on the humanity he starts with Joseph ends with Adam.

Mathew beiing a Jew focus on the Legal rights starting with Abraham and ends with Christ. Here you have the House of David going through Solomon.

But notice the twist in Jeremiah, "The last of the descendants of Solomon on the throne before they went into captivity.

That's why the lineage is through Mary and the Legal rights is through Joseph by Marriage. Solomons lineage was cut off at Jeconiah. And that's why Jesus is called the seed of "The woman ".

Here I believe we have The House and The lineage of David.

So we have Joseph of the House and lineage of David but the right to the throne by lineage was cut off at Jeconiah.

And its not even a vaccine in a traditional since -- its a completely novel (and largely untested) concept called an "RNA vaccine". (Admittedly this is stuff everyone should already know.) And there's a complete blackout of all completely valid information, e.g. if you already became positive for the virus and didn't get sick (or even if you did get sick) YOU DEFINITELY DO NOT NEED THE VACCINE NOW. And why the blackout in the world press for all known treatments for symptoms. It goes on and on and on.

The crazy thing is, that after every megachurch in the country just willingly shut down for months, now they're demanding everyone get the vaccine or mask up at church (certainly true at the megachurch I grew up in.)

The word torment used in the parable of the rich man and Lazarus is the Greek word BASANOIS. The meaning from Greek to English would pretty much be the same as what we would understand torment to be. Whether it is mental anguish or physical torment, I think it can be both. It seemed to be both for the rich man. He seemed to be in a state of mental torment knowing that his family members (brothers) would soon be in this same place unless someone went to warn them. We also know that he was in physical torment, wanting the tip of his tongue to be cooled. Can you imagine that? Here is a man in physical torment and all he asks is for the tip of his tongue to be cooled. He didn't ask for someone to throw him a rope so he could get out!

We also know that there is a place of eternal torment called the lake of fire. To tell you how the word torment is used in other verses would take a tremendous amount of time and space. That's a huge favor. I don't mind sharing my understanding with you but I'm not sure I want to tackle that one. The short answer is that the word torment means pretty much the same in English as it does in Greek.

For the rich man in Hades, he's still in torment. One day he will be released, judged at the Great White Throne Judgement, and then cast into the lake of fire, a place of eternal torment.
