Hi Chuck The context of what your looking for starts at John 15:1 Jesus Christ is the true vine, getting born again and doing the will of God his word you will bare fruit spiritually and every other way the word is the soil the more you stay rooted and grounded Ephesians 4:16+17 the more answers to prayer and abundance. For example, your first sentence sounds like a question, but seems like a different topic and you didn't end in a ? so you probably aren't interested in my opinion. "I know you believe you go to heaven, but do you believe that's all there is." I don't know what you mean by that either or how that relates to my comment to Gladys. Brother Adam, do you believe God's elect are going to judge the world.

Do you believe the dead abiding in the grave, will be resurrected back in their bodies of flesh, but God's elect (already resurrected with Christ) will be in glorified bodies, like Christ was after his resurrection.

We are all at different levels of understanding (exactly where God wants each of us to be at this point in our lives).

I know you believe you go to heaven, but do you believe that's all there is.

Brother Jesse, I would ask a favor, I would like to know the word torment in the parable of Larazus and the rich man. The Greek word translated torment. How was it use in other verses. Is it mental angush, seeing the glory the Son of God received, or physical torment.

Matthew 1:16 Jesus' lineage is connected to Jacob which eventually relates Jesus to Solomon rather than Nathan. One conventional explanation for these differences, from as early as John of Damascus, is that Nathan is the ancestor of the Virgin Mary, while Solomon is the ancestor of Mary's husband Joseph.

John Here's an example of your challenge,everything in Gods word is there in its original language for a reason, a perfect example. One of my study observations the number four biblically stands for the world or earth. The reason why there are 4 Gospels is that each one magnifies a specific aspect of Jesus Christ Ministry on earth. Mathew as King of Kings mark as servant of God to man, Luke as a perfect man and John as the Son of God. So I understand what your seeking but it takes personal study and research but above all that God showing you what to look for and where. God Bless

I would answer yes to that. In the parable of the rich man and Lazarus in Luke Chapter 16, the rich man had died and was in Hades and he was in torments. Now, beginning at verse 25, Abraham says to the rich man, remember in your lifetime that you received good things and Lazarus received evil things? So the rich man must have had memory of his life.

So then down in verses 27 and 28, the rich man asks that Abraham would send someone to his father's house to testify to his brothers and warn them so they would not come into this same place of torment that the rich man was in.

It is interesting that he has the remembrance of his past life on earth. He remembers his family. He remembers his brothers. And he says, father Abraham, send somebody to testify to them so that they will not come to this place of torment.

Hello, this is just my opinion, not based on scripture, but I believe will have perfectly clear memories in the afterlife. We develop our character here on earth and if we genuinely follow Christ then we build our character to be Christlike. Those who don't care or are lazy or say they're Christians, but do nothing I think are in danger, just as many verses in the Bible say. Matthew 7:23 etc. Since we have freewill in heaven (angels did like satan), I believe people we do too. And if we have freewill and aren't robots, that means we had better NOT sin in heaven! God won't allow such evil in his presence. So we had better clean up and clean up fast and get it right here on earth, else, I have doubts that the unprepared and untransformed will be granted into heaven's gates. That is my own opinion, but as the scripture says, most want to go there, but most won't make it in.
