We know the apocrypha was removed 150 yrs ago this was stunning to me after reading it it really should be in the OT .

More biblical scholars than my self also claim that some verses in the KJV where added and not in the original. I can not verify it so I will not say which ones but they are very doctrinal verses that many hinge onto .

I love the Bible and read only KJV , but man has tampered with it . Just how much ? When we catch some there most likely is more . This explains some seeming contradictions .

But man is not able or devil to over ride Gods purposes . I'm not derailed by it at all . The over whelming truth is there and the few verses that contradict are much less . Usually the case . But many people just need 1 verse to over turn a whole book or law sometimes it seems .

So beware the other versions are tempered with so much more to fit the deceivers intent . The scriptures where destroyed and hidden until 1500 or so ! Amazing we even have what we do God is

Merciful. The NT could be so much bigger than it is .

Where is the apostles doctrine ? It's mention but where is it . We do have references to it , but where is the actual doctrine? Yes some of it is seen in the letters . But those are letters with its teachings in them ...

bottom line we are ever so more dependent to be taught by God , and He is able .

Crossroman I'll finish with this the epistle or letter was written to the Church of God to which Jesus Christ gave the revelation Galatians 1:11+12 or information at to what was given through whom and all other details From Romans through Thessalonians written to Church of God born again believers. What he's discussing is the battle that is constant between the natural man 5 senses and the spiritual man we got when we were born again. He was born again when he was given the revelation because revelation is information you cannot know by your five senses 1 Corinthians 2:10-14 if I've discussed this before i apologise, don't know if things get through sometimes forgive me. God Bless

Sister Melinda, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

Matthew 12:32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, in this world (age) neither in the world to come (age).

The Word of God was written by the HOLY SPIRIT ( 1 Peter 1:21), the HOLY SPIRIT is in you ( Colossians 1:27) ( Ephesians 4:6)

To blashpheme the Holy Spirit means to NOT BELIEVE (reject) what he is saying to you through his written word and the LIVING WORD that is IN YOU.

By not believing, or rejecting his WORD; you would not be saved in this age or in the coming age(s); but will be judged in the coming age(s).

After the next age, possibly ages, you will AGAIN be able to be saved.

Ephesians 1:10 That in the dispensation of the FULNESS OF TIMES (ages) he might gather together IN ONE ALL THINGS IN CHRIST, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; EVEN IN HIM.

1 Corinthians 15:28 And when all things (in this and the coming ages) shall be subdued (they will confess him as LORD) unto him (Christ), then shall the Son ALSO HIMSELF be subject unto him (the Father) that put all things under him (Christ), that GOD (the Father) may be ALL IN ALL.

No one is going to be left out of the Kingdom of God; but most want come into the kingdom in the age we are now in.

    Dianne, and GRACE_ambassador {ChrisE}

I can see where you and GRACE_ambassador {ChrisE} are coming from but to be tried by fire we as Christians must go through some of this tribulation coming up that means we must face some of the one world order to see who will stand for God. We as Christians was had it ease we haven't had to face what the apostles faced yet, I believe that is to come because we as Christians must come out as pure as Gold. Matthew 24: 15 is being practice in Jerusalem today waiting on the temple to be completed. On the other-hand you can look for Biden the U.S. president to issue an order that all Americans must be vaccinated in about two years are less. Because this is the first step to the one world order. Thank you for your input/comments and God Bless you both. Stay prayed up and ready to go up

Crossroman Another item to consider if our only rule of faith and practice is Gods Word if I go to websites now I have a diverse amount of ideas as to what others thought it meant. Why can't I just stick to 2 Peter 1:21 and 2 Timothy 3:16 to see what God meant instead of what man thinks. Trust me in this what we're discussing there's more than one school of thought. God Bless

To Beverly Duncan re: Job 10

Suffering today compared to that of Job-I wanted to share my personal dealing with a similar level of suffering by none other than my wife of 59 years and 8 months.

At 38 years of age, she began to have symptoms which stumped the Medical Professionals we counseled with, so a surgical procedure followed which allowed her blood clotting issues to arise to haunt her for the next 40 years.

Shortly before her 43rd birthday, on July 31, she went to sleep with vision in both eyes and awakened the next morning with blindness in one eye, never to be cured on this Earth . Diagnosis: Optic Neuritis, a plague among humanity.

Symptoms continued to arise, seemingly of their own volition until she was 52, a neurologist diagnosed her as having MS. Despite use of the very best medical care along with the empathetic care from outstanding Medical Staffs, the long decline (along with 2 heart attacks, a pulmonary embolism, and a debilitating stroke) led to her 4 sons being at her bedside comforting and consoling her as she left this Mortal Sphere at 77 years and 1 month of age.

Purpose: That God might be Glorified!

Thanks: For this present day Christian Lady's faithful example under much duress!

    In Jesus' Name,

    Amen

Thank you for your thoughts & suggestions (as I also read your comment to Dianne). This would indeed become a much protracted discussion if pursued. The only comment I offer for my understanding of Romans chapter 7, is the apostle's clear use of the personal pronoun & present/past tenses, as appropriate.

I realize that there are other views on this passage, & even in my attempt to engage with those views for the purposes of learning a different perspective to mine, my reading & understanding of what Paul is expressing seems to be the most natural & obvious. Blessings to you.

Lord, You are the Courageous One! And so right now, as I wait upon You, as I face fear and intimidation, I trust that You will keep your promise. I trust that I am who You say I am. I trust that You will give me the strength and courage I need to face this circumstance, and I trust that victory is on the other side. I ask You st lead, guide, strengthen, protect, bless, favor and give me favor with man and God, give me more power and anointing in Jesus Name.

I boldly declare that I will not let fear or intimidation stop me from being obedient. Help me to endure, Lord. Give me grace. You're a good Father, and You are faithful. I trust You!

    Thank you, Father.

I pray this in Jesus name,

The calling of the Spirit as beelzebub or evil is the unforgivable sin. It is in effect a realization of the authority of God and is roughly equivalent to lucifers. Those angels who were present at the creation saw and rejoiced at thar time. It is much like those who do not love the truth (which clearly shows they know something about it) and subsequently believe the Lie of the sntichrust soon to be revealed. Blessed are those who haven't seen yet believe. After the rapture many will see and fear ( Psalm 40). By the sixth seal there will be no.atheists but full knowledge of God and the Son coming to judge. Without the Spirit revealing who Christ is man is blinded and hence it was hidden to the man who Christ said why do you call me good? He is attri used to a "good man" when in reality as CS Lewis so aptly said he is either God a life or a lunatic. When ww assail His character and works we have gone beyond the fear and to open rebellion as will characterize the lost later on in the tribulation who blaspheme God and harden their hearts as predestined to according to the Word if they are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world. Hence every sinner given uo to their own depraved nature eventually will end up this way and soon be delided to worship thr beast and be deluded by thr false prophet into their own version of eternal life. WHO CAN MAKE WAR WITH HIM (he with the deadly wound see Zachariah). He with the right eye damaged and right arm withered. Will inspired man to take the mark on the same body areas. If we hate God we love Satan and are empowered by the devil and hos world system. We become seared as a hot iron in callousness to our own helpless depraved wicked soul and go from choosing to remain in sin to eventually be condemned to remain in that state. Despite many testimonies to the contrary there will be no desire for the truth righteousness and worship of Christ in hell to men forever in an unregenerate state.

Crossroman That is impossible because it was written to the Church of God after he was born again and he was given the information to give to believers to explain the battle that goes on is between walking by the five senses and walking by the spirit.

Hi, I am a regular church goer for the past 4 years. I want to seriously study the bible from genesis to revelation. It is tough for me to understand the word of god. Which book in the bible should I start reading and following the rest. I like the KJV authorised version initially very tough, but I can manage. Please can you advise what would be plan of study to complete the bible.

Crossroman I am not implying that its okay to sin by any stretch, but to walk by the spirit 24-7 is an entirely different issue also we are endeavoring to walk in the Love of God and that thinketh no evil, those are aspects of walking totally by the spirit, It is available or else it would not be written, Paul is showing us by revelation from Jesus Christ the challenge between the mind and flesh and walking by the Inner man, it is a much misunderstood part of our walk with God.

    Hi Dgjot,

I agree with you and Chris it is not spiritual swords. They would not need physical swords, the Holy Spirit would lead and protect them until their mission was fulfilled and as you said, most all of them, just like Jesus told them, they were beaten, put in prison, and were killed. The actual reason for Jesus asking them to buy swords was to fulfill a prophecy. He told them in,

Luke 22:37 For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.

( Isaiah 53:12) Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

    God bless,

Crossroman One of things I keep in mind is that the Church epistles were given to paul by Jesus Christ for us to understand what was received on Pentecost, why how, to whom, and operation, also the challenge daily we deal with between walking by the spirit or walking by the flesh. Everybody misses the mark so to speak that is not a license to sin or excuse the renewing the mind is a life long reality. Also sin broken fellowship is carrying out an action against against Gods Word which is different than thinking a negative thought which is just having a negative thought. There again when we walk in the perfect love of God spirit 1 Corinthians 13:5 the love of God thinketh no evil. Your correct the victory is won, one of the biggest problems in the Christian Church is not believing the Completeness of what we have been delivered from and walking in that. Our old man nature was declared dead by our deliverance from sin but again many people need instruction as to how to walk by the spirit and what to put on mentally avoid missing the mark. Not understanding is not a licence to disobey some believers just don't know. I believe sir we are on the same page. God Bless

Waking up, finding yourself being questioned by others, who judge you ,bringing attention towards you and God? Even so our master has given us a work too do! A work He will multiply in us. A life we have in and towards Him, A life filled , pressed down, running over! Glorifying Him with yourself, looking always unto Him! The fear of failure will always be with us, contemplating the worst, until the time comes that we meet Him face to face! Being judged by others is all part of the plan. The nature that keeps us from Him, He uses to open man's eyes to see Him as He is! This man we see is Jesus Christ, a man like us ,tempted like us. Being questioned and judged by the self righteous. We too, who are like Him, will find Him as He is in all these things, opening all eyes unto glory. His glory! FES

Hi Adam , as of right now , the story of lazeris an the rich man tell us there's 2 sides of heaven, one for the good , one for the not so good ! Separated by a gulf , that no one can cross ,.. rapture ? Besides being a hit song in the 80's by Blonde , Ezekiel chapter 13 , warns us how God is angered by those who teach to fly to save there souls , an that Thessalonians 1 chapter 4 , is a message on , upon Jesus's next return, at that coming we all change back , into our original spiritual body's, an the reason we can say , as long as you are in the flesh, the real Jesus, is not here. ,..

    peace be with you

Hi Chris, as I wrote to Dianne I say to you also. There are two predominant prevailing views on Romans 7, and one should examine them carefully before aligning with the one or the other. There is plenty of information on the web. If you have made your informed choice then that is the end to it, but I would advise you spend some time on these two views before you claim the wrong one because these views are directly opposed to one another, just like the Spirit and the flesh are, and to claim the wrong view is to champion both law and flesh instead of the Spirit.
  • Crossroman - In Reply on James 1 - 4 years ago
Dianne hello. Romans 7 is not Paul as a Christian, but as one under law before conversion. There are many articles on the web with the correct view of this, just as there are many with the incorrect view. It is a difficult subject but if you look into it properly you can get it right. This is a very serious matter because we are either calling a Christian a wannabe law keeping sinner, or we are calling a sinner before conversion, a Christian. Either way, it is a serious reversal of the truth. The wrong way leads people to think that sinning is commonplace and to be expected and that victory is not something to be considered, and is actually calling the pre-conversion person a Christian. The right way simply exposes the power that the flesh has under law, but which power has been destroyed by Christ's sacrificial body. It is not a matter of sinning or not sinning, it is a matter of what Paul is actually saying and teaching. To get it wrong is to destroy his expose' of the relationship between law flesh and sin and leaves the believer confused as to the absolute victory that Christ won for us.
