    Hi Jesse.

I was being humorous, We have had a teaching competition going on here lately.

"James says, my brethren, do not become many teachers, knowing that we shall receive (And notice the word "we" because James includes himself). James says we shall receive the greater condemnation."

The answer might bring an indictment on some of us that may need to leave the teaching to the teachers. so we left it alone altogether. However that certainly wouldn't include you.

I am currently in a mentally abusive relationship. I want out, I have a 7 month old baby girl and I don't want her growing up around him. He has threaten to burn my family's house and has made other comments/threats. Please pray that my daughter and I can get out of this relationship and we can live our lives happy, peaceful, and not miserably. I guess I am kind of scared...? But that environment is NOT what I want to bring my child up in. Please PLEASE pray for me and my baby. I feel like a bad mom. It's been a traumatic experience being with him.

Adam I have only one question, in Genesis 2:19+20 what part of Adam was so intelligent that he could name every living creature and to this day that is the name of it. Just asking

    John Joseph Sumao,

In James 3:1, James starts out by saying "My brethren." So he's talking to Jewish believers. He says be not many masters. The word masters is the word teachers. And the word "be" is literally the word become in the Greek text. That is very important!

He is not restraining called teachers to teach. Our English bibles say be not many teachers, but in the Greek text, it is literally do not become many teachers.

He's talking about the ambitious ones who want to teach. In the synagogue, when it came to the reading of scripture, they would ask someone to come up and read the scripture and give a homily or a message on the scripture for that week.

And so people in the congregation would prepare all week long so they could be the teacher. So James says, my brethren, do not become many teachers, knowing that we shall receive (And notice the word "we" because James includes himself). James says we shall receive the greater condemnation.

There's more responsibility for those who teach. If a person is not called by God to be a teach God's word, they should not teach. A person should never go into the ministry out of their own human ambition. It has to be a calling from God. But as James is saying here, the teacher is going to held accountable for what he is teaching, and those who are in error are going to receive the greater condemnation.

    I hope this helps!

Hi Dianne , in London we have one of Cleopatra's needles , apparently , there were two of them outside Egyptian cities and all camels had to pass between them to entre the city but , the gap was very narrow so they had to unload their cargo that they were carrying in order to pass through the needles , so , the parable is basically about unburdening yourself of your worldly goods before you can enter the Kingdom of God .

That is a lovely idea Fred , I think that you think more of people than I do , Gods mercy is fresh every day , His mercy endures forever , there is no good in man , even when we know the Truth and are saved , if we can manage not to sin in deed then we sin in words and if by some amazingness we don't sin with our mouth we sin in thought . I know this is true of me .

Robert The key focus of the word of God from Genesis 3;15 to Revelation 22:21 is the centerpiece of scripture Jesus Christ and all the ways God had to work to redeem man. There are in the old testament alone over 400 prophecies of our messiah. Within that framework is history of Gods dealing with Jews, Gentiles, and Church of God and at the Revealing of Jesus Christ or Revelation. In the Gospel of Luke is a teaching that would have been mind blowing to hear, Luke 24: 25-32 that's what the scriptures do make known Christ. God Bless

Yeah. I can sense the great fear in David's heart, being hunted by a world leader. Even as his faith failed him, God did not abandon him as he played crazy for the enemy on their turf. This part of David's life is truly fascinating to me. God truly tried this man by fire. Wow. Praise God.

I would like to know, what gentleman voice it is that reads off the scripture's of the word of GOD? He has a voice of that penetrates thy soul, it's like a voice from GOD, just wanted to know if he is the one who played in the Ten Commandments? I love that movie.

Thank GOD for allowing me to raise up this morning he didn't have to do it but he did, we all fall short of the glory of GOD, it's the known sins that we do that causes us to face consequences that we don't have to, just stay planted in the word of God he will shower you with many blessings as long as we are submissive unto HIM, always put GOD first goodness and blessings will find you I know, I'm a living witness, walking testimony of it all....His grace and mercy will never fail you. Have a blessed and prosperous day

Robert I don't see that occurring because of the genealogical time frame in Genesis Chapter 11+ 12 so I'd have to be shown that scriptural and I believe that event if it occurred would have been important enough for God to put it in scripture. God Bless

Hi larus The greatest challenge when it comes to Gods word is getting by what translators added or just didn't understand correctly, Gods word when originally given had no capital letters commas, question marks chapter headings, it was in manuscript form. Also the bible is an eastern book with eastern thought, in the Gospels Jesus Christ said it is easier for a camel to walk through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Camel through eye of the needle is eastern thought. In light of that it is still The Truth as it says in 2 Peter 1:20+21 Holy men of God spake as they were moved by Holy Spirit. There are sources to help with this. God Bless

For all those interested in Nimrod, How about doing a study on Baal and see how it's associated with Babylon. Also see how it relates to Mystery Babylon in Revelation and us today.

Is it possible that the blood of man is cleansed and sanctified, while the heart is renewed day by day? you cannot have one without the other. Redemption is the redeeming of man through the blood of Christ! There can be no forgiveness without the shedding of it. This is the law of God! no more sacrifice of blood of bulls and goats. Jesus did it once and for all!

Herod has shut J.T.B mouth. He is in prison! While their, He is hearing rumors concerning this man He baptized, not long ago in the Jordan river. Rumors are flying that this is truly Christ the Messiah! So, John sends his followers who visit Him everyday, who pray earnestly for His release , He sends them to Christ. John by now must be wondering if He is ever going to get out of prison! In the mean time His brothers return with good news, that it is indeed the Christ! If u were John , what would u be thinking? would u be thinking that Christ would be breaking u out of jail? Perhaps Jesus will convert the govt and its leaders ,and I will be made free? Soon John would realize the will of God. it was more than the will of man as it was the will of God. There is a certain element, a certain evil within the world, it would not be so for John! Even within the confines who a prison, God would use Him to the very end. This is the will of God! The prophets before and after would suffer the same end! As Jesus explained to His disciples in parables. So what is the use?

This is the new covenant, based on faith, looking for the promise, it is His plan to save the world ! Watch and you will see! Repent and be baptized

Hi T.N.T. ,we don't execute anyone in the uk , haven't done so since the 1950's I think . We are very concerned about executing innocent people and we have a saying " where there's life there's hope " someone can't repent of their sins and find the Truth if they've been murdered by their own government .

Hello again Robert , I'm useless , I submitted before I had finished , please read Hebrews ch5 , the chapter tell us a lot about the human nature of Jesus before he ascended , especially ch5 verse8 :Though he were a Son , yet LEARNED HE OBEDIENCE by the things which he suffered ; Also Hebrews Ch 2 , the whole chapter but especially verses 9 onwards. Also Hebrews Ch2 ,all of it but especially verse 9 onwards : For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted , he is able to succour them that are tempted . All temptations are of the flesh ,all sins are of the flesh . Ergo Jesus was the same flesh as us . He was VICTORIOUS . He resisted all temptations .Hebrews Ch 4 verse 15 .

Hello Robert , thank you for your reply , it was interesting and help full to me . I am sorry , I don't think I made my point very well . I don't do this often . I was thinking about the fact that God says , in the verses that I quoted , that WE are evil . He doesn't say that we are week and can't resist temptation , He doesn't talk about the devil being evil and tempting us .He always blames us for our own sinfullness , so why do we think it's ok to blame the devil and his whiles and sneaky ways that ensnare us into sin ? If we blame the devil for leading us into sin then why do we punish people for sining ( breaking the law ) ? We execute people , that doesn't kill the devil , it just kills the person . I also believe that the New covenant in Christ negates the "eye for an eye " etc in the Old Testament . Basically , what I'm trying to say is that WE sin , it's not the devil's fault that we sin , it's ours . I'm not sure about Jesus having God's blood , Gods Spirit yes , that is correct , but blood I'm not sure about . The law of "sin brings death" could not apply to Jesus as he didn't ever sin . I believe that the phrase in Genesis is perfectly translated as : in dying thou shalt die . But I could be wrong about that . And the reason they die is not because the fruit is harmful , the act of eating it , not the act of touching it , the act of eating it is disobedience to God's command . Disobedience is sin . 1st John Ch 4 verses 2and3 , Christ was flesh , just like us . He could have sinned but didn't , that's his victory
