May the Lord bless, keep & sustain you David in your earthly sojourn. You've certainly had a very sad & trying year & there is certainly no balm of comfort or healing available from any earthly storehouse. You've shown by your testimony here & from your other encouraging posts, that your joy & victory lies wholly in the Person of our Blessed God & Saviour. May you be strengthened day by day in the inner man, knowing the Lord's gracious Presence at every moment & at every turn in your life. 1 Corinthians 2:9.

God is the alpha and omega.

Nothing is impossible for him .

Trust and put God first.

Watch God deliver or heal you. Amen.

I need of the prayer for protection and deliverance from the attack from those that hate me without a cause.

I plead and decree psalms 91 over my life win the name of Jesus.

The devil is a liar and no plan of any enemy shall prevail over me IN Jesus Name.

Interesting how recently Isis were doing their worst in the same wicked land of Niniva .

Also type of Jesus , who was not afraid of the tempest. Jesus was also sleeping during the storm and the sailors were afraid, waking up Jesus to ask him the same question " don't you care that we perish "?

Jesus wasn't worried because he was able to break up the storm with a single command. Jonah only had to obey his God, and finish the job that was set before him.

It is better to obey the Lord your God from the start.

In thee oh Lord do I put my trust, let me never be afraid. The Lord is our rock and our fortress. We put our trust in thee.

There are many clear cut decisions we can make based on the Word of God. There are also many areas that God gives us principles to follow. The best thing is first to be saved by the Gospel of Christ. Then cultivate an intimate relationship with God, by knowing Him through His Word. Have a strong prayer life, and prayer partners to hold you accountable. Build relationships in the church with saved people you can trust. Lean and trust in the Lord God Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent.

Then as the Scripture says - wait on Him. I too am struggling with different issues in my life, however putting into play the above things have helped me greatly. Not as easy as writing it down. I'm 70yrs old. I took the covid shot about 7 months ago because I was traveling internationally, so I had no choice. I didn't want to take it; but if I didn't, I would not have been able travel by airplane. I've been blessed, I had no complications.

My wife passed away in late January 2021, then my sister passed away in June 2021. It's been very difficult: however, My God and Savior has been a high tower and great comfort to me and my children. Praise the Lord, I will see and be with them again based on God's Word.

I agree, there are powers in this world, some can manifest in physical form, and believe me, they are not small and are more powerful than you can imagine and without Jesus, we are toast. But it is the wolf dressed as a lamb, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ we must test. Two thousand years of teachings and doctrines we have taken as the truth. We were told to test the spirits and to study to shew thyself approved unto God, constant prayer and study, we must have a mindset, if we think we know, we don't.

Sister Dianne, thank you, I do agree we have to have our mind renewed by the word of God. I agree it is a life long process, also.

Barry Revelation is whats to come it is not happening now it will not happen till a while after the body of Christ is gathered together. That is all I've studied on the subject matter, the book of revelation has a lot of figurative language in it. It is perhaps the most written about book in the entire bible.

Randall Hi Nimrod is only mentioned 4 times in Gods word Gen. 10: Gen10:9 1 Chronicles 1:10 and Micah 5:6, the first 3 deal with genealogy and all three state that he was a mighty hunter before the lord, as shared before the word nimrod means rebel and the word mighty means defiant, this guy was absolute evil in the face pf God. His name is not written in

the book of revelation but spiritually what He represented is. He was basically a male Jezebel, have you ever heard someone called nimrod or a female jezebel its not a compliment. It is amazing, there was 1656 years from Adam to the flood with only 7 chapters of scripture, all that was going on before the flood with the sons of God, giants and even after the flood there were giants. The description of these giants (Nephilim) and (Rephaim or Rephaites), are not just tall people. The name of these people means "terrible ones". How would we take them if they were on earth today? Call the doctor!

A lot of words were written there with the goal of disobeying Jesus? I would think Christ followers would be excited to obey Christ. The Bible clearly says to be baptized. It's not complicated. Acts 2:38

Put another way, there's no downside and only upside to obeying Christ and being baptized, right? So, why all the effort to justify disobeying and convince others to do the same?

Is Nimrod mentioned in the Apocrypha? If so where?

Brother Rick: God is ACCOUNTABLE for his CREATION. This is why before the foundations of the world were laid, Christ was predestinated to REDEEM creation.

Romans 9:18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.

Romans 9:19 Thou will say unto me, why then doth he yet find fault (why does he say we sin when he is causing everything)? For who has resisted his will (no one has resisted his will, most do not BELIEVE ( Philippians 2:13) he is causing them to do HIS WILL)?

Because creation was made this way ( Romans 8:20) by God, and God is ACCOUNTABLE to his CREATION, he has SENT his SON to REDEEM CREATION.

Man says God isn't going to be accountable to creation, but instead condemn them to Hell. God's word says he will be accountable to creation.

1 John 4:14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father SENT the SON to be SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD.

BY DEFINITION you CANNOT be the saviour of the world; without, SAVING THE WORLD.

Hi Rick the only problem with your equation is God is the only righteous,just,eternal, all knowing and all powerful and omnipresent being that being said there is no judge above God. Also the only way to God is through Jesus Christ Romans 10:9+10, your choice believe it or not. I'm in the same position as far as age. I think the strongest thing we can do is make the atmosphere of our home DIFFERENT. I do that by planning other activities that DO NOT include television or video games. Plan something. Board games are still fun. He's 8 but we still like the competition of go fishing game. :D Skip Bo, puzzles, horseshoes, Nerf target shooting in the house with big plastic drinking cups (rainy days)

We talk to each other. I never lecture him. I tell him, "hey I'm older and wiser now...ask me ANYTHING." "What do YOU think about how the world is doing these days?" "How would you change it." Stuff like that.

We pray together, "my turn then your turn". Just simple subjects and replies.

The central theme is the Book of Revelation. There is no sex, but plenty of action. There are other movies too: Apostle Paul, Book of John, Genesis, Noah's Ark and lots more.

I have on hand, caramel popcorn and good snacks. I do ask his parents to leave the I-Pad and video games AT HOME.

Kids RETREAT into fantasy games and are cut off from their surroundings, people and what the family is doing. With some skill and your full attention, you can bring them back to the family circle. Don't ignore them or send them to another room.

We only have 18 years to impact this life. God cares very much how we do this. They need to know God hears their every prayer and request. Tell them what "request" is. Christian Programming is less violence, but if we devote our full attention to sharing time together; that is what they REALLY DESIRE. Time and hugs.

Don't lecture. Listening to what THEY COMMENT on to get clues on how to Pray for them. Get in the closet and pray for them; do some Ephesians 6, warfare prayers for all family members. Make life count.
