While we suffer in this body of flesh, we are flesh; gods of this world (Satan's children). But we can know the truth of what's TO COME.
God is SPIRIT; Christ was born of Spirit (God); therefore Christ is Spirit (God).
We are BORN AGAIN of Spirit, receiving only the down payment. But when we receive the FULL PAYMENT we also become a God as is Christ.
Ephesians 1:17 That THE GOD of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit
of WISDOM and REVELATION in the knowledge of him:
Ephesians 4:6 One GOD and FATHER of ALL.....
God is the Father of Christ, Christ is a Son of God. All the FULLNESS of God is in him; therefore he is a God. Christ IS NOT the Father, WE ARE NOT Christ , but will have the FULLNESS of God therefore we will be a God.
This happens when we are REDEEMED at the death of our fleshly body.
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our ABODE with him/her.
Comment: According to our individual desire to give ourselves fully to God, they will come to live within us.
The Blood of Jesus gives us right standing with God.
God is so Holy that he cannot dwell with sins. That's why Jesus did what he did. He loves the Father, and He loves us. Jesus bridged the gap for us; and will do so forever.
God is LOVE. His affection is set upon us.
For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
I know we as Christians sometimes feel like we understand and it's not until we are brought down to know that sadly we don't (at least in my walk). Sometimes I don't understand why things are the way they are and why I am so unsuccessful in giving the gospel out to my friends and family. But I know with all certainty that he saved me for a purpose and all these trials I'm going through is to maybe strengthen me for what's to come. Maybe with me losing more of myself each and everyday and asking him for his strength it's for his glory to be made manifest. His law and love is in my heart and it's hard to read, pray, and do other things when my family want me here and there. I love them but I have understood I just have to wait for the Lord. If I seek more and keep praying even without ceasing I know more and more of his fullness will be added unto me. I'm not worthy of his love and sometimes I feel like I am not saved. Sometimes I feel like the Holy Spirit isn't with me. Sometimes I feel like just shouting in rage. I am just a ball of emotions. I'm only human but not using that as an excuse. Brothers and sisters in Christ share the same experiences and that's what makes me happy and joyful knowing I don't know you or anyone face to face but we're all brothers and sisters in Christ.
I know it's long I apologize.
I want to give you encouraging words from Lyse TerKeurst book "Seeing Beautiful Again.
She writes "The beliefs we carry determine what we see. That's why we must be so careful to recognize where the lies are affecting us. Our faith can get fractured by the lies we let inform our beliefs." See the lies as a warning signal. Ask yourself is this really true? Most of the time you will find the answer to be, "No, it's not." Do not let the defeating lies take over your emotions.
Remember the following:
"You are of God. From God. Made in His image. Loved from the depth of God's unfathomable heart and treasured by Him beyond your imagination."
God bless you friend,
A sister in Christ.
Matthew 22:44 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?
Matthew 20:20 Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.
21 And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.
22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.
23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine (Jesus said) to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.
First, this person is breaking God's law. Colossians 3:19 "Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them." Psalm 11:5 "The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth."
Warning! If you haven't already, do not tell that person you are leaving them. Wait until they are at work or will be gone a long time and get out. I say this because a toxic person is capable of doing anything to stop you from going. Once you are gone, do not agree to meet them in private. If that person demands to talk to you, do it in the presence of your pastor, lawyer, law enforcement, but never alone even in a public place. Google how Dorothy Stratton died.
Don't forget God. He will protect you. Read your Bible and pray, including this prayer: Father, please give me wisdom, strength, and determination to stand in the battle raging about me. Help me use all the armor and weapons You have given me to their fullest extent. You may think it's just your husband, but it is the demon inside him. 2 Corinthians 10:3 "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)."
May God bless and keep you.
