On the kingjamesbibleonline.org, in the search words or phrases box, type prince of this world KJV and several verses will come up. The first one I saw was John 12:31 "Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out."

Dear Kim Jackson If you want too follow Jesus Christ you have a lot of promises, You know that? Thank you too come forward. Soo I'll can remember the words that will help in a dark day. It's never after that you have known about Jesus so dark that you dont know what too do. He is all you need. He have all the glory and help you thru everything, if you let Him. Know that you are saved, in

Acts 16. 30. And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

    31. And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

I Jhon 3. 20. For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.

    21. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.

I belive you know what too do. If not cry out our Lord Jesus Christ name. He will release you. He Loves you with unconditional Love.

Jesus referred to Satan as the "prince of this world": John 14:30 and John 16:11. I guess if the Son of God spoke this of him, then all of Heaven recognizes him as such; at least for a while until his power & influence are finally withdrawn & he is locked away for eternity.

Please pray that my blood family will come to know Jesus. I am trying to follow Him and become more like him. I have many struggles and fights with knowing God from the bible his words and there own self God and there own wills.I get lost and off track with the worldly ways trying to lead them. Please pray that i will find my brothers and sisters in christ to help me stay focused on God and lead others to him through him not in my strength or will but in Gods. Thank you. I fill so alone and betrayed in anyone.

    No apologies necessary Glenn.

    And welcome to the site,

Sometimes we can get so wrapped up in a viewpoint and we abandon the spirit and walk in the flesh, It's very easy to end up on the wrong side of the work of God,

The Lord didn't tell us to go out and Preach our viewpoints, He told us to abide in him and to teach and preach the Gospel that saves lives. The Holyspirit reveals truth, Believing or disbelieving in the rapture don't give you the Holyspirit, Salvation Does!! Let's help them with that then their eyes may become open to see whether there's a rapture or not. Apart from the spirit we can't reach NO ONE. The natural man know not the things of God, Let's sow the seed and let God give the increase. Then they will be able to Hear. If you hold the truth that is the way you got it.

    God bless you.

  • Christian - 4 years ago
In the Old Testament, there is a verse that talks about the "blow out the fire and in with the wind"? And it mentions the father, son, and holy ghost. Any ideas what this verse could be?
  • Jesse - In Reply - 4 years ago
    Glenn,

There is a phrase used in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 and it is the phrase "caught up." The Greek word got that phrase is HARPADZO which is the same as caught up. It means to be snatched away or seized by force. It does not mean that we "fly away."

In fact, this "caught up" is going to happen so fast that we're not even going to know what happened.

The word rapture comes from the Latin word Raptus. But it all means the same thing.

The law is a schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ The law of God is what we see in the ten commandments . The law is what God has established with His creation. It has been my experience that it is impossible to keep His law. However men of old before the Christ, shared in something called hope. They waivered not at the promise, much like we too look for the return of Jesus Christ! Waiting in faith, is the fundamental condition of establishing the law, while fulfilling it!

When this happens it is now referred to as grace. Grace found in the same words our Fathers before us had! This is the salvation we have in the hope of our savior Jesus Christ. Much more now we are now sanctified and cleansed, cleansed in his holy blood! This being the requirement of the creator. There can be no forgiveness without the shedding of blood! Christ heals us, makes us holy and perfect before the Father, clothed in White, able to stand before him!

    Rejoice.

Let's take it from verse 10,

And I will share what I believe verse 12 means.

In verses 10 and 11 Here Jesus says he's in the Father and the Father is in him, And Jesus contribute the work to the Father,

In verse 12 The work that Jesus does and the greater here mentioned here is not greater in quality, It's greater in volume.

    That's why Jesus said

BECAUSE I GO UNTO MY FATHER.

Jesus had to go to the Father before he sent the Holyspirit to dwell in them.

Luke 24:49. And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, UNTIL YE BE ENDUED WITH POWER FROM ON HIGH.

That power was the Holyspirit and the Apostles ministered with that Power on display to the World.

John 14:10-12. Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but THE FATHER THAT DWELLETH IN ME, HE DOETH THE WORKS.

11: Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

12: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, THE WORKS THAT I DO SHALL HE DO ALSO; and GREATER WORKS THAN THESE SHALL HE DO; BECAUSE I GO UNTO MY FATHER.

    God bless.

    Hi Brother Jesse.

    Thank you for that revelation!

I went to the scriptures and as you said I seen the italics you mentioned in a few pivotal verses.

    Thanks

    God bless.

Glenn The word rapture is not in the bible it is the resurrection of the body of Christ, 1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18 also 1 Corinthians 15:50-54 both of these events are one in the same, known as the Hope of the return and no one knows that one it is in Gods timetable. 2 Thessalonians 2:1 is what the Bible calls the gathering together unto him. Like so many other things man came up with rapture. God Bless

In John 14 Jesus Christ is sharing the things that will become and now are available when an individual confesse Romans 10:9+10 and believes it in their hearts and does the will of God which is His Word, His Spirit takes up resident LITERALLY in our bodies and He begins to make the way He operates and wants you to do known. The more you walk the more He makes known. The real mind blower is verse 12 and this guy raised the dead, and He said us who believe will do greater works than he did. Now we can believe it or not.
  • Dianne - In Reply on John 3 - 4 years ago
Ted The bible doesn't say but I'd like to believe he was because He begged for the body and put it in a fresh tomb. Also when you work Gods word closely He just wrapped in cloth others came by later and embalmed Him so that's an indication He believed he was going to raise from the dead, whats really interesting is all the disciples walked away and one betrayed Him all scattered. When it comes to the Gospels you have to be very careful sequence of events.

  • Glenn - In Reply on Numbers 23:19 - 4 years ago
Exactly,.. translations are not always right, although the men in 1611 tried to break down the Hebrew , Greek , an almanacs,.. you must get a Dr Strongs concordance, or a companion Bible,.. like the word Easter ? In acts ,.. the word is actually, Pasco ,.. meaning passova,.. there is no such thing as Easter ,..
  • Glenn - In Reply - 4 years ago
Gifts ,.. meaning that we all have certain things that make us who we are in the flesh, weather, a smile , or act of kindness, or righteousness, simply being able to figure things out ,.. it's definitely caris ,.. meaning charitable, charismatic,.. we are all loved by our father, an he is not a respecter of anyone,.. he loves us all the same , no one person is more than the other,.. which I find truly,.. AWESOME
  • Glenn - 4 years ago
I would like you to tell me about the rapture ? an when we can expect that to happen ? Please,.. because I'm kinda confused here , I hear about the rapture from many preachers, but I'm unable to find that in the Bible,.. sn upon reading Ezekiel, chapter 13 , I find it very clear about the punishment for false statements an that he is AGAINST, those who teach there children to fly to save there souls ,.. so please, am I missing something ?

    Thank you

    Glenn

Brother Jesse what your touching on is perhaps if not the most confusing field of all christianity and to get into it in this format personally I'm not going there, there is the Gift Holy Spirit then there are manifestations or outward displays of the power of that gift and one use of the word power is exousia another is kratos, but again there is so much involved in that field for this format. By the way I have studied everything you covered I choose not to mention words in italics not in original so I don't ruffle feathers. Nice Sharing.
  • Dianne - In Reply - 4 years ago
Nice sharing bro now we worship 24 -7 which is the way it was meant to be. Law is out Grace is in Colossians 3: 14-22 we are a new creation in Christ.

I would like to share something about the word "gift" or "gifts" that we see throughout the Bible. First I want to say that I am in no way trying to discredit the KJV. It is my Bible of choice as far as English translations go.

But I think many people are being misled by thinking that God gives them all sorts of different "gifts" when in fact the only gift we are actually given is the gift of the Holy Spirit ( Acts 2:38).

But in our English bibles, we see the word gift or gifts and we associate the word gift with something that is given to us because that's what the English word means.

However, we need to look at those various places in scripture where we see the word gift or gifts where we think it is a gift that's given to us.

First of all, if the word gift is in italics, that means the word gift is not in the original language. The places where it's not in italics, we must look to the original language to see what the word truly is and what it means. Does it mean a gift that is given?

Most often, the word gift will be the word CHARISMA which comes from CHARIS which means expression of grace.

If it is the word DIDOMI, or DOREA, that means a gift that is given. We often see or hear people say God gave them a gift or gifts, but it cannot be backed up with scripture because when they show you in the Bible where it say God gives us these gifts, it is not the word gift as in something given to us.

The only gift given to us is the gift of the Holy Spirit. Everything else is just an expression of God's grace. So if someone says they have a certain gift, it must be backed up with scripture. What word is being used where gift or gifts is pointed out. And if it's in italics, that falls short altogether.
