So I am confused through out creation he always referred to him saying and it be done . Except for when he said let US make men in our image. Does anyone have the understanding for that?

S Spencer Brother you remind me of the Apostle Peter.
  • Other Comments on JOB - In Reply on Psalms 139 - 4 years ago
The thing that oft gets missed, is that Satan was lurking around Job. Spying on his habit of making sacrifices for his "partying" children. Satan perceived that maybe ? Job was fearful. He rolled the dice and approached God for permission to get at Job.

God knew Jobs heart. Job was a righteous man/human. He had relationship with God. He was a praying father of his children. He lifted them up in prayer and the sacrifice of praise and more.

The thing we need to see here, is that Satan spies on everyone. He sends his Familiar Spirits to spy on everyone and report back. Then Satan goes before the Throne and ACCUSES us to the Father.

Then Jesus is sent for, to check the Book of Life for our name. If it is in there, CASE IS DISMISSED for lack of evidence. Everything past, present and future does Not Appear. Not Guilty.

The evidence was taken to the Cross and nailed to it. Blood washed it away.

Jesus deserves for us to get this firmly in our hearts. Not to sin because we can; but to reverence Jesus for disposing of it. Not Guilty.

Remember that Satan prowls around us as a roaring Lion.

I remind him almost every day of Satan and his demons, of their future.

Be strong in the Lord and in the Power of His Might.

LISTEN for that ACCUSING voice. Take it to the Throne. I want to be a kid that knows who his Daddy is. Underneath the feathers of His Wings.

Samuel sir A statement I heard a long time ago that fits pretty good even in my life on occasion, a man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still. Here's something I was shown in the word that's incredible. The apostle Paul in the book of acts in chapter 20:22-24 he's going to jerusalem but it say he's bound by the spirit, it appears to say Gods telling him to go now look at context, Chapter 21:1-4 Verse 4 other believers said to paul through the spirit not to go to Jerusalem. Further down 21:10-12 then it got to the point Paul in verse 13 I'm going no matter what verse 14 they stopped begging Paul not to Go. I believe this is an example of where a believer in his heart believes He's doing the right thing and be dead wrong. Paul almost lost His life, but as with us God Covered.

    Dianne,

This one's going to cause some strife I'm sure. But here is what I understand the bible to be teaching on tongues. First of all, the only verse in the bible that pinpoints the instruction on tongues is 1 Corinthians 14:22, and the only proper example of its use that is not in violation of 1 Corinthians 14:22 is found in Acts chapter 2 verses 1 through 13.

When the Holy Spirit fell on those in Acts chapter 2, they began to speak in tongues. Was that proof or evidence that they had the Holy Spirit, as some today teach? No, it was for a sign. It was a sign to those who heard it that the things they heard spoken were had to be from God because those that heard them speak in tongues (Known languages) knew that they had no way of knowing their native languages and dialect.

Acts chapter 2 is a perfect example of the proper use of tongues and it fits perfectly with 1 Corinthians 14:22. There are three facts to keep in mind about speaking in tongues. Number one, it is a known language. Number two, it is a sign. And number three, it is to unbelievers, not believers.

The "tongues" that are being taught today in our churches are not the tongues of the bible. What is happening in many charismatic churches today does not even come close to what took place when the Holy Spirit fell on the believers in Acts chapter 2, when they spoke in tongues.

    Consequences of knowing Part 2.

Note: Nakedness in the scripture often implies sin exposed.

I believe the consequences of Adam and Eve eating of the tree of ( knowledge of "Good and Evil") is them "knowing" they were naked which suggest they were naked before they ate of the fruit. " The tree of knowledge of good and evil caused Their eyes to be open and they knew they were Naked/Sin exposed.

Here you have a picture of man attempting to clothe himself. Christ was ordained to come into the world before the foundation of the world to provide a covering with his righteousness.

    That's what the skins foreshadow,

Immediately after God pronounce the curse he Made them skins.

Genesis 3:21-22. Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

    GOD BLESS.

7/29/2021 I'm just curious- When Jesus talked about all those scary things happening in the end days, was He talking about those things happening nowadays (20th/21st Century) or was He talking about those things happening sometime closer to after He was crucified/resurrected/ascended???

I always thought that Luke 21 was for future readers (us) but some of those things already happened years ago.

The world as we know it, is sliding down on a greased pole into hell.

How much of Luke 21 is directed towards the believers that lived thousands of years ago and how much of it is directed towards us living in the here and now?????

The phrase, TAKE NO THOUGHT, is not even in the Book of Genesis.

It is however all over the New Testament. If you'll put it in the SEARCH BOX like i did, you will see where it does occur.
  • Mishael - In Reply - 4 years ago
I did show it. Those are the scriptures as is, in a King James Bible. Eve replied to what Satan said, perfectly. And then she ate of the fruit; and gave some to her husband, Adam.

Rather than believe what God said, she listened to Satan and the lust of her own heart.

Hi Dianne by the way nice name, I don't buy all that stuff reason I personally don't see where that lines up scripture and from what the Word of God says, that I believe is something coming much worse.

Take no thought What I'm seeing in that conversation in her own mind, like us when we question things that we know the answer to in Gods word, same deal. He took over very slyly and I don't believe this was an instantaneous event, he worked on her five senses because God said Verse 2:16-17 all except tree of knowledge of good and evil. First thing enemy said ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden, two changes her mistake considering, then goes downhill got her attention. I believe to a degree believers go through this in different areas. Something to think about.

How does bible verse say s about the cost of rest in Christ
  • S Spencer Covering your own nakedness - In Reply - 4 years ago
    Hi Richard.

    Part 1.

I personal believe they are, I believe they're saved by the same means as everyone else. Faith in the sacrificial lamb our Lord Jesus Christ. I believe the skins provided by the Lord himself speaks of that. The Lord speaks to us by Allegories, similitudes, ect.. And we know they brought sacrifices to the lord and all these sacrifices pointed to the Lord .

Genesis 4:4. And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: " This was asked of them" As I will attempt to bring forward with more scripture.

Hebrews 11:4. ( BY FAITH ) Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. "We know faith comes by hearing". Romans 10-17. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Christ was foreordained to come into the world to make remission for sins before the world begun.

And before Adam and Eve sinned.

    Ephesians 1:4.

    1 Peter 1:20.

    Titus 1:1-3.

While we are on this topic conjectural view I have.

Look what happens immediately after they have bitten of the tree of knowledge.

Genesis 3:7. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

"It seems them knowing they were naked was the main reason to keep them from eating on the tree of knowledge."

The tree of knowledge was the focal point before they ate, Them knowing they were naked is the focal point afterwards.

And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was "naked;" and I hid myself.

And he said, Who told thee that thou wast "naked?" Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

    Part 2.

    Consequences of knowing.

    GOD BLESS.

  • Dianne - In Reply on Psalms 139 - 4 years ago
Mishael In addition to what you shared concerning Job when Satan presented Himself to God Basically He Told God If you take your hand away from Him He'll Curse You, I would like to believe that when Satan took everything that the true God Blessed Job, God knew Jobs heart and Job Never Blamed God. Incredible when His wife argued and His Miserable friends tempted Him to Blame God. The true God told Satan Don't touch Jobs life, and in the end as you said Mishael He received more than He Had. He even witnessed to His friends in the middle of His tribulation what a man.

Hi Debbie , I truly believe that we can be angels to each other , whenever we help any one , but especially when we help another Christian , we are as angels , ministering God's love and kindness to others , let's say , as an example , you don't have any food in your house and no means to get any , there's a knock at your door and it's a member of your Church , she says she has been baking pies and thought you might like one and she gives you a lovely pie .She is an angel to you ,and you recieving that pie are allowing her to do you a good turn which is a good thing for her also . Sorry if that's not very clear ! Some one once asked me if I would by them a sandwich , it was a complete stranger to me , I did so , that makes me an angel to them but maybe they were the angel , sent by God to find out if I am a good Christian who practices what I preach . I hope you can get my meaning .

Why do people tout their man made doctrines, keep them close to their heart as if they meant something? Even when scripture proves them wrong, they still think they're wight. It's not my burden to reform wayward sheep.

Do you mean the so called 'vaccine' for covid? Obviously a virus that 99.99% overcome isn't very much threat. The death counts have been a lie, admitted by the CDC itself.

But when people take experimental untested injections they assume is going to make them safer, and when tens of thousands die from it, and when the media and government covers it up, and when half a million others have blood clots, infertility, heart attacks, and more, it starts seeming quite irrational. Fear of getting killed is leading them to kill themselves by injection. It's sickening and horrifying and pure evil. No amount of lies or propaganda will change my opinion, but maybe just 1 person will change theirs and save their own life or one of their family members. Keep praying that the truth is uncovered.

As a believer saved Holy Ghost fill baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. As Paul and Timothy suffer persecution, trials and their circmstances as they preach the doctrine of Jesus Christ. THE QUESTION I'm really concerns me is the suffering that Jesus Christ went through and the suffering that, I'm facing through my adversity now why do we have to suffer as Jesus Christ did. I truly need words of encouragement about how God will deliver me through my adversity.

I was lead to this scripture many times. It is a constant reminder that we can go to the Lord for everything we face from our enemies. We don't want them destroyed but we do want relief from the evil they do against us. In the meantime, We are praying for their salvation.
