You said " Adam must have said this to her , he added to God's word "
Where did you find scripture of Adam telling this to Eve?
If there is none then you are adding to Gods word. And I'm sure God spoke to Eve as well as Adam.
Thanks saint.
Which one was deceived, Adam or Eve?
"...now ye have delivered the children of Israel out of the hand of the LORD."
praise LORD!
Your feelings add up to the price of trying to complete an incomplete world. The Weight. You are allowed to feel bad, it's OK. I read your posts, they are both thoughtful and reflective. You're a bright star. It is good for you to wonder about the abyss, and face it with the middle fingers of your mind, perched. I know you'll do the best you can, you are the judge of your soul. Isn't that why the resurrections happen so fast? You'll get your rhythm back; Freddy getting ready, rock steady.
First of all, I want to say that I did not ask this question to trip anyone up, nor to puff myself up. I asked because I was interested in what comes to others minds when they hear the word atheist. And this is something I learned years ago when I was studying and learning Koine Greek.
If someone were to ask me years ago what an atheist is, my response would be that it is someone who doesn't believe in God. And that is true. But it goes beyond that. So I asked the question here, can a person who believes in God be an atheist. My answer to that today would be yes.
Here's why I say that. Our English word atheist comes from a compound Greek word. In the Greek, it is the word A-THEOS, pronounced Ah-Theos. This word literally means without God, "a" means without, and Theos means God. So an atheist is someone who is without God, someone who has not yet been born of His Spirit, regardless of what they believe or don't believe.
So a person can be in church, they can believe in God, believe the word of God is true, participate in church, act and look like everyone else, but still be an atheist. There are many in our churches today that have never surrendered their lives to Christ, never been born of His Spirit, and even though they believe in God and the bible, they are still without God, meaning they are atheist.
Is it correct to say that an atheist is someone who doesn't believe in God? Yes it is. But it is also correct to say that a person who believes in God but has never been born of His Spirit, that person also is an atheist.
My response today if asked to give a definition of who an atheist is would simply be someone who is without God, not simply a person who doesn't believe in God. That's what I wanted to share. Thank you both for responding!
Great question! I believe When the Holyspirit guides you in service your service will line up with the word of God. And "CAUSE" You to Love the Children of God. You, them, and the word will be yoked together. "In stride". And you will be unequally yoked with unbelievers.
If we Love God "We also Love our Brothern!"
And we also should examine ourselves to see if our Motives and Intents is generated by this Love. God discern the thoughts and intent of Man.
We know we're worshipping him when our desires is Lift him up, and not ourselves so he can Draw all men to him. What's most important is you will become fruitful.
Fruit is given to you by beeing connected to the Vine. John 15:1-9.
Gifts is also given, But we are not determined whether we are a child of God or not by those gifts!
Your gifts and good deeds should be driven by the Spirit not by fleshly effort or vain glory.
Sounds like a lot to accomplish?
IT'S NOT WHAT YOU'RE ASKED TO DO.
IT'S THE WORK OF THE SPIRIT.
GOD BLESS.
thank you blessings.
Who he is and what the Holy Spirits ministry is for us. John 17:7-24
This means we can have a very close relationship with the Holy Spirit. He teaches us everything we know about Jesus. He is the Spirit of Christ.
Anything you want to understand about Jesus__is the Holy Spirits task to teach all of us. When the weight of the world crushes us; it's the Holy Spirit who Comforts us; until that moment passes. If we stray from Jesus, it is the Holy Spirit who is calling us to return to Jesus.
HE IS YOURS FOREVER. He will never leave you.
Let us all be conscious of His Presence within us.
Our bodies and our minds are His Temple.
I found that He is very apt to join with us, in spirit, when we sing and praise the Lord.
This is why Jesus told us not to blaspheme the Holy Spirit; Grieve Him or curse Him. The Holy Spirit is the 3rd member of the Godhead. ( Romans 1). He is precious. Pray WITH Him.
Your everyday life will explode and blossom with JOY. The angels hearken to praise and prayer. Wicked spirits will not hang around that kind of happiness. They will flee.
If you need help reading the Bible, a certain scripture; ASK the Holy Spirit to teach it to you.
Mishael
You didn't anger me or caught me by surprise. I'm direct. I was responding to your posts forwarded to me remember.
When reading someone's reproof don't imagine them shouting, Angry is a very false accusation when we conversed.
God bless.
The believe the Woman is Israel, If you take it from verse 5 it says she brought forth a Man Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. That's the Lord Jesus Christ. The church didn't come along and birth Christ. Christ came along to build his Church.
Revelation 12:4-6. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
AND SHE BROUGHT FORTH A MAN CHILD, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
Also in verse 1 You see a description of her that parallels with her in Genesis 37 when Joseph dreamed. Jacob interpreted the dream by the sum, moon, and stars mentioned.
Revelation 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman CLOTHED WITH THE SUN, AND THE MOON UNDER HER FEET, AND UPON HER HEAD A CROWN OF TWELVE STARS:
Genesis 37:9-10. And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, THE SUN AND THE MOON AND THE ELEVEN STARS MADE OBEISANCE TO ME.
And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, WHAT IS THIS DREAM THAT THOU HAST DREAMED? SHALL I AND THY MOTHER AND THY BRETHREN indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?
God bless.
