The reason I work the church epistles is because that is the specific instruction to the church of God in the age of Grace that does not mean there is not tons of other instruction in the rest of Gods Word to learn from. Another favorite section are Psalms, very inspirational and proverbs very instructional on practical ways to act and think. Now something sir you said that absolutely dead on 2 Peter 1:20+21, I'll add 2 Timothy 2:15 and 3: 16 + 17. I can learn a lot from all scripture, the Scripture or revelation Given to Paul is specific Instruction to the Church which you and I belong. The church epistles is where you find specific attributes on how to put on the mind of Christ. I do believe in my heart we areon the same page though. God is using a nation and it's people for his judgements.

Notice that God didn't say he was going to punish the king because he killed, and stole and raped and destroyed other people; but, God was going to punish the king because he took credit and thought it was his works.

Hello Brothers and Sisters of all walks of life. I am new (at least semi-new). I have a question that i've been trying to base my answer on according to scripture or even in my prayer life. We are told by Jesus to be in one sound mind. We are told to also have fellowship with other believers and etc....However though what if our fellow brothers and sisters don't ever check up on other believers leaving them left out ? I guess what I am trying to ask is it normal for fellow brothers and sisters to have fellowship just one day out of the week and not check up on others ? Is that normal ? I face this question with my own-self and don't want to deceive myself but also in scripture if this attitude is normal.

When we pray we humble ourselves and give honor to Gods Supreme Athority. You go to the Lord as your Heavenly Father.

One of the signs of the leftist ideology and religion is to have compassion all evildoers and to assume they didn't mean it, that it's not their fault, that a broken system made them do it or otherwise they're not responsible. It usually pairs with an equal amount of inhumanity, injustice, and cold-heartedness toward the victims of the evildoers. It also tries to flip the script and say evil isn't that bad, not really evil, and good isn't that good, that sometimes it's bad.

If someone believes in satan the way the Bible describes him then they will believe he's the father of lies, is a murderer, like a lion ready to devour us. He is a pure evil. What is evil? Evil is the opposite of good and opposite of God's holiness. Disobeying God is evil.

How clever would it be for the father of lies to lie to Christians to get them to have sympathy for the devil (just like the song)? And how clever would it be for the liar to get people to believe evil isn't really evil, and that good isn't really good.

In your comment you made an assumption that satan is just doing a 'job'- But it wasn't a 'job'- he rebelled and chose evil himself. I think the magnitude of this is significantly greater than a human like us one day slipping up and accidentally sinning. This was a direct defiance of God like blasphemy of the holy spirit unforgiveable level severity, in my opinion. Judas didn't do a job- he absolutely betrayed Jesus and blew it- which I think was blasphemy of the holy spirit and he killed himself.

To claim that evil isn't that bad and that everyone should get into heaven is like denying God's goodness. It's like claiming God isn't good and that's dangerous ground. If evil exists and it does, then certainly the opposite exists. God is pure and love. Satan is hate and full of dark evil poison. Jesus died and suffered for you. Satan lied to you and is trying to get you into hell to be in torment. One is telling truth one is spewing lies. God bless.

Hi Carlton I really don't spend a lot of time in the book of revelation but I will get back to you, most of my reading is in the church epistles directed to us in the Church of God in this the age of Grace. My understanding from everything I've read revelation deals with Gods judgement on mankind and the adversary and all evil. Since when we are born again we are sons and daughters of God and have pass from eternal death and judgement to eternal life and made righteous and totally forgiven by the blood of Christ I don't see how the book of revelation applies directly to us except where we come back with Christ after being resurrected from the dead gathering together or rapture as it is called when the dead in Christ shall rise and meet Him in the air. We are as the church epistles state saints which means separated ones. In revelation we come back with Christ to kick Spiritual butt so to speak. I will get back to you on the rest. My son is 26 yrs old and he's on heroine. Myself and family members have been doing our best to get him help and to get him to admit that he has an addiction. He stayed in rehab one day and left. He's been to jail several times, steals from family and businesses. As his mother it's so heartbreaking. I pray to God everyday several times a day to hear my prayer for him to remove this demon from my son but to let His will to be done. I give my son over to God but I still worry about him when I haven't heard from him in a few days. I can't function right. It's so hard to go by when you know that your child is like that. You don't know if he's alive or not. Hungry. Where he's sleeping. Please pray for us. Especially him cause when he's good I can rest peacefully. Thank you so much. God bless
