Obadiah 1:10 For thy violence against thy brother Jacob shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off for ever.

This is the 1st time we hear claim of violence against Esau. In real life, the last time Esau and Jacob saw each was on the trail, and Jacob feared Esau would kill him for stealing the birthright, ( Genesis 33). Any previous mention of Gog/the beast anti-christ were glowing. God used Esau's "sanctified" beast army to defeat Jacob (Babylon); anti-christ's army are described as "even them that rejoice in my highness". Gog/beast are Christian's from a (frozen) desert ( Isaiah 21:1). The times God brags about His "northern army" are many.

He calls anti-christ's army, "His army", His "sanctified ones" and "His camp".

( Isaiah 13: 3-6) I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness.

4 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle.

5 They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.

6 Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.

( Joel 2:11) And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

What did Esau do to change God's mind into HATING him? Esau did God's will and destroyed Babylon, so what happened beyond that? What violence does anti-christ do to infuriate God?

Hi Evangelist enquirer. After reading your comment about your concern, I thought to myself, 'Hey, we have an evangelist here'. What you are doing & with the very real sense of being led to share with people, to listen & help them with their needs, & share the Gospel as & when appropriate, is indeed 'being & doing what the Lord has for you at this time'.

After I was saved back in 1979, I joined with a very evangelistic, mission-minded Fellowship. A group of us used to go out every Saturday evening for open-air preaching & singing (without the use of a megaphone: city ruling), had a major door-to-door outreach around the city, I did personal letter-box tract drop each Friday evening around my neighbourhood, & the Fellowship had sent out some 20 missionaries all over the world. Not all of us were called to go overseas, or even to come out & face the public on a Saturday, but each one had a heart to share Christ in some way at the opportune time to someone. I don't preach in the open-air anymore because I've damaged my voice box through its extended high volume, but as I waited on the Lord, I received the call from Him to overseas service (1988), which I did till arrested & expelled two years later.

I just share the above to assure you that what you're doing in the Name of the Lord, is also being done according to HIS Will for you at this time. Keep on doing your 'ministry', develop it in the ways the Lord puts on your heart, & always be open to Him to lead you on to share the Word & help people in other ways for the future. The Lord has a wonderful mysterious way of sending His willing children into new areas & also equipping them for the task. So, your work IS evangelistic, even as the early Christians 'gossiped the Gospel' in those formative years of the Church ( Acts 8:1-4), as they shared Christ in whatever way they could. Keep these matters before the Lord in prayer & wait for the answer - He won't fail a yearning responsive heart. Every blessing.

I did check the Hebrew on Psalm 22:1, Dianne, where those words "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?" are given. The Hebrew for "(why) have you forsaken Me" is "a-zab-tani" which means to "forsake, be remote, absent". I don't understand your rendering of "kept or spared". I remain perplexed. Thank you again & blessings.

Dianne, my Hebrew translation for the word 'Light' in Genesis 1:3 is 'or' or 'o-wr' & not 'phos'. And that word ('o-wr') only refers to physical light. And thank you for the other attached comments.
  • Chris - In Reply on Genesis 1 - 4 years ago
That's correct Dianne, I did state that in Genesis 1:2 (the Earth's original creation). But you had given the rendering as, "And the earth (became) without form & void". This was in reference to your quote: "In Genesis 1:2 in the original text the word was is became which changes a lot of things". Maybe, I misunderstood you, therefore, my apologies.

Versus 16 & 17 in Revelation 6 speaks of Jesus the Lamb and his fury, not a separate god (father) and son's (JESUS) fury. This also proves that God is ONE. He indeed is the Father in creation, Son in redemption, and the Holy Ghost(poured out portion of His spirit).

Hello. I have had a dream when younger that I was on top of a ladder and Jesus was fixing my sister Karen that had passed away earlier in my life . I had a Dr pepper or a coke in my hand and they were on top of my local pharmacy with the heavens right there .I was scared of what was happening and he told me to drop the can and it was going to be okay. My family I would have back would be in the order as before on earth... So I dropped it and woke up. I do see things a lot of times. Visions or feelings... Maybe this was dumb. Thank you for listening...

I said THE Son of God , not a son of God .

If you asked God who is Jesus what would he say ?

The answer is found in Matthew 17 v 5

" This is my beloved Son in whom I'm well pleased ; hear him .

I have yet met a man that even thinks he knows more than God . Case is closed .

Matthew 1:18-25 and Luke 1:26-38 explain this very well, Mary (a virgin) was found with child of the Holy Ghost before Joseph knew her. I hope this helps.

Matthew 1:18 "Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost." 19 "Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily." 20 "But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost."

Matthew 1:25 "And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS."

Luke 1:35 "And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God."

    A short answer: No.

When a belief is based on one's well researched & unchangeable 'facts', then any other proof given, will never be adequate & always rejected.

    Remember Luke 16:27-30.

I agree with everything you have said here about gambling. The only thing about gambling is as long as you don't let it get out of hand it is not a sin. When I say this, I mean don't let it get the better of you as everything else don't let gambling or whatever you are doing get to the point that you have to suffer serious consequences.

Genesis was revealed to Moses after 2.500 years after Adam or around 1.500 years BC,and around 3.000 years after the rebellion in Eden, beginning by the ruler of Eden, a Cherub.

Genesis 1:v.1- 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Comments: In JESUS, GOD the Father created the heavens(FOUR HEAVENS) and the earth. (earth here has nothing to do with the Planet Earth, there is a great MYSTERY hidden by the Spirit of GOD, the common man will never understand it.)

2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Comments: Actually, if the Bible was speaking of the Planet Earth, it would never be written without form, of course, but

the earth that GOD revealed to Moses IT REALLY had not any FORM, it was void, yeah, was void of the Spirit of GOD, the Word, the Word is GOD; SO, darkness was upon the face of the deep(infested of a multitude of rebels), but the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. GOD always was present here( Isaiah 40:v.21-23.Check it out)

3 And God said, Let there be light:and there was light.4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

Comments: What was the intention of GOD in this moment? In His Omniscience and Omnipotence He would go to establish two Alliances with the inhabitants of the Earth through His light.(Please, read 1Thes.5:v.4to8)

5 And God called the light Day,and the darkness he called Night. And the EVENING and the MORNING were the first Day.

    NOTE:

After the rebellion in Eden( Jude 1:v.6),GOD planned to restore all things in six days, and in His WISDOM started to work in His plan around 500 years after the rebellion in Eden( Genesis 6:1to5; Jude 1:v.6),it was already EVENING.

Genesis 5 describes a generation of GOD's seed according His plan.Did not he make one?Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Mal.2:15

    Her prayer...

"I take my son by the hand and lead him to you, God of love. Here is _________ (name). Accept my love and thanksgiving as I entrust him into your loving care. I want him to be free to be at home with you. I ask that you save a place for me there beside him and that you be my loving presence in all the lonely moments that await me. I ask that you fill me with motivation and energy in the days ahead when I feel like giving up; remind me often of my true homeland when I am caught up in the desolation of the journey. Help me to find joy in the people, events, and the beauty of nature that surround me.

This brings a 10 year period of my life back to me. I know how much it hurts but don't surrender your faith in God. I lost a beloved father to Alzheimer's; a much loved nephew in a fiery truck wreck; 2 drug addicted brothers died a year apart, on a bus bench, and one behind Panda Express. I brought my poor mother to live with me. As years of sorrow made her face sad; she went to heaven on a stormy night; with heavens light on her face.

We have to let grief have it's course, because joy comes in the morning after.

I found photos of special memories of happy days and events. We recalled the old stories and told the stories again to each other... and even laughed at some.

Don't walk on eggshells. Revisit the joyful days.

Don't bury the happy memories fade, in the grave of a chilly heart.

Be faithful and go to church. Agreement in the whole congregation invites the Lord to pour forth His healing balm over everyone.

Guess who is the 2nd and 3rd person we will see (after seeing Jesus first) ? That's right...

Chris I can appreciate your statement on sticking with scripture, something to consider what we have now either in kingjames or other translations is not the Word of God which was given when Holymen of God spoke 2 Peter 1:20 +21 I am not saying that I do not believe the bible to be Gods Word but when it was translated even as you stated the translators chose a lot of things based on their belief system. Example Look up Eli Eli lama sabachthani in mathew. The translators put in my god my god why has thou forsaken me, if you look up those words in old testament lama sebachthani means kept or spared, now in Gods word Jesus Christ always did the fathers will so when he was on the cross for us He was doing the fathers will. Now you will tell me God forsook Him Because He can't stand sin, I agree that God does'nt like broken fellowship but His Son our saviour Always did the Fathers will. Something to consider, and yes there are places in kjv that what was translated doesn't fit with the Entire Word, thats not saying God got it wrong man did.

This isn't a comment, been receiving your verse a day for many years. Start my day off with it.But now I wake up and take the verse and put it on a app. Listening to the Holy Spirit on what to say. On line, at first I got this isn't the place for God's Word, but months later, people are saying thanks, amen, gotten JW, anti christ believer. But people our listening and growing in the word of God, Today's verse was James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Used submit to parents, Then I went to the prodigal son story, to the rich man and Lazarus, to putting on the whole armour of God. And lastly John 3:16. Other Bible verses Ephesians 4:27: Luke 8:11-12, I Peter 5:8, I John 3:8, Zechariah 1:3, Psalms 73: 28.

It's all about having someone come to the Lord Jesus Christ, and believing, trusting, and giving their life to him as their Savior. We both our God's servant, what a blessing!

    Hi Brian.

There's a view of the Gap theory that I do find Interesting. But not to say the Dinosaur or Humans existed during this period. I believe All that was created In Genesis. Man. woman and Dinosaurs and all iving and extinct flesh was created in Genesis after the Gap theory. Because of this verse.

Romans 5:12. Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

I will post a few articles later.

    God bless.

    2 Timothy 4:5

But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an EVANGELIST, make full proof of thy ministry.

    John 9:4

I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

    John 5:17

But Jesus answered them, My Father works, and I work.

    Mark 6:5

And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.

    Acts 21:8

...and we entered into the house of Philip the EVANGELIST, which was one of the seven; and abode with him.

A "publisher of glad tidings;" a missionary preacher of the" "gospel ( Eph. 4:11). This title is applied to Philip ( Acts 21:8)," who appears to have gone from city to city preaching the word "(8:4, 40). Judging from the case of Philip, evangelists had" "neither the authority of an apostle, nor the gift of prophecy," nor the responsibility of pastoral supervision over a portion of "the flock. They were itinerant preachers, having it as their" special function to carry the gospel to places where it was previously unknown. The writers of the four Gospels are known as the Evangelists.

    Isaiah 52:7

How beautiful upon the mountains are the FEET of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; see Rom. 10:15

1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and BE READY always to GIVE AN ANSWER to every man that asks you a reason of the hope that is IN YOU...

    John Chapter 15

18 If the world hate you, ye know it hated me before it hated you.

19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I HAVE CHOSEN YOU out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

20 ...If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

Well, the battle is against THREE UNCLEAN SPIRITS LIKE FROGS - A SATANIC TRINITY

And the angel of the Lord said- Revelation 17:v.15: The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. Scripture is clear:This quoted verse reveals us the AQUATIC ENVIRONMENT of these spirits of demons like frogs which guide the peoples or rule the nations of all tongues in whole earth, through all kind of devilish systems, as religious systems (catholicism, and Judaism, and spiritism, budhism, islamism, among many others), and political systems, and military systems, and social and cultural systems, among others systems. In fact, Satan goes to and fro and from walking up and down among them.

By the way, the new NAME of SATAN in the current time of Apocalypse is Dragon.

Rev.12:v.9-10 - 9 And the great DRAGON was cast out, that OLD SERPENT,called the DEVIL,and SATAN,which DECEIVETH THE WHOLE WORLD:he was (will be) cast out into the earth, and his messengers(2Cor.11:v.13-15) were(will be)cast out with him.

10 NOW (yes,NOW,ONLY NOW) is come salvation, and strength, and the KINGDOM of our GOD,and the Power of His Christ...

    Revelation 11:v.15-18

The kingdoms of this world(WORLD OF DEVIL)ARE BECOME the KINGDOMS OF OUR LORD,AND OF HIS CHRIST;and he shall REIGN for ever and ever.

16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before GOD on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped GOD,

17 Saying,We give thee thanks,O Lord God Almighty, which art,and wast, and art to come;because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

18 AND THE NATIONS WERE(WILL BE)ANGRY,and GOD's wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be Judged, and that GOD should give reward unto HIS servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear HIS name, small and great;and should DESTROY them which destroy the earth.

Its very important your belief and faith in the Word of GOD-the Word is GOD-and beliving that "the last enemy to be destroyed is death, apostle Paul".The Holy Spirit left very clear by Paul Apostle that"The last ENEMY that shall be destroyed is death".1Cor.15:v.24-28&51-55:

24 The END comes when He shall have delivered up the kingdom to GOD, even the Father; when He shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

25 For He must reign, till He hath put all enemies under His feet.

26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

27 For He hath put all things under His feet ...

28 And when all things shall be subdued unto Him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto Him that put all things under Him, that GOD may be all in all.

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

52 In a moment...at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound ( Revelation 11:15-18), and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this MORTAL must put on immortality.

54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

Philippians 3:v.20-21: 20 For our conversation is in heaven;from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: 21 Who shall CHANGE OUR VILE BODY, that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body(see Luke 24:v.36to45 and 20:v.35-36), according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto Himself.

Compare the vision above in Rom.8:v.18-30.

By the way, there will be resurrection in this present time according Daniel 12:v.1-3 and 1Thes. 4:v.15-17. Check it out.

16 the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Mishael, What a beautiful prayer, thank you. Sometimes I feel the whole universe smile, then I know who's smiling in me .

The best kept secret in the world can't help but spread.... just try to tell someone in love to keep it to themself: they may outwardly comply with the TikToks, but inwardly they keep catching winks from another world! What can you do about it! "The whole world is gone after Him." Anyway, thank you so much for having broken the alabaster jar.
