This observation is better. I looked at the damage suffered by US drone operators after Iran fired 12 missiles at their camp in Iraq 1/13/20. Even though they got warning (casualties kept quiet) hundreds were treated for hearing issues, mental breaks. A camp Lt Col was on TV shaking, she said everyone was traumatized. After 20 years of drone bombing weddings, then bombing the funeral procession, now the US military complaining about taking incoming from a worthy foe is rich.

The hardening of Pharaoh's heart I believe was to show God meant what He said....and said what He meant...God does things in a certain order...ALWAYS...one of the reasonings behind this....is because if it went the way mankind expects it to go....would anyone ever see God? I just wanted to mention that our relationship between Christ and the Church is like a bride and bridegroom. In my walk with the Lord for many years, something has bothered me, and wonder if anyone can give some word of wisdom. (I have prayed about it too). I don't feel like an evangelist. Should I feel guilty? I am very called to talk with strangers everywhere I go, and I can strike a conversation with anyone. I talk with street people, homeless, or CEO's, doesn't matter. But I don't feel called to evangelize. I feel called to listen deeply to the person, listen for their spirit, and to uplift them through the Holy Spirit. If they ask about me, I immediately say I follow Christ, and if there is an opening, i go further. I feel joy, just being with people the Lord sends me to. Am I not doing enough? Is everyone supposed to evangelize? Is the Good News only in the written gospel, or can it be spread through Christ's love? Perhaps I need prayer, I don't know.

First--and most importantly of all--are you a born-again Christian? If not, take Jesus as your Savior by confessing your sins and asking Him to come into your heart. Romans 10:9-10.

God is perfectly able to heal you. But sometimes He expects us to put legs on our prayers and seek help. That's what doctors are for. Perhaps you have a kidney ailment, a spinal dysfunction that needs addressing. Also, one of the symptoms of menopause is incontinence or not being able to hold your urine until you get to the bathroom. If you have seen a doctor and know what is going on with your health, make sure you are following his orders. Pray, read your Bible, cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

When you ask God for something, always say, "Your will be done in Jesus's name." The hard truth is sometimes it is not God's will to take our ailments away. Paul asked God to remove a thorn in his flesh (which some people believe was poor eyesight in that he depended on Luke to write out his epistles), but God refused, saying, My grace is sufficient for you. 2 Corinthians 12:7-9. Paul moved on just as some of us must also do.

Tumbleweed, I catch the scent of the Holy Spirit in your writing. It is like a perfume that you can't buy anywhere. After I was saved in a Zen Buddhist Meditation Center, I remained a tumbleweed, bumbling around where the Holy Spirit led me. I thought of writing a book called "He and I" but saw it was already written. We traveled everywhere together. I couldn't get enough of His voice. I was very greedy, i wanted him around 24/7. I used to love all kinds of music, but even classical music got to be noise, never mind television! His conversation heals the leprosy of this world! And I have always been called to adventure, and He said that was okay, He was too. It's been a strange journey, I've gotten emptier and emptier in my human giftedness, now I'm down to almost nothing. But His voice is everything. Thank you for your writing, and your witnessing, what a blessing it is!

I'm weird. I find the noise of a television in the room offensive. I don't leave it on for "white noise." Its quiet. I talk to the Holy Spirit and He answers. His statements are not wordy. He is to the point, in a quiet voice. He waits for us to get quiet and settle our spirit.

As others have indicated here, James, you are not bound to any particular Church Fellowship or even a branch of the same Church. You will have your reasons for changing to another. However, I suspect that if you're with a very "closed" fellowship, then you're very likely going to need the approval of the presiding elder & a letter of introduction (or, letter of commendation if you are a Christian Worker), to the other Fellowship so that you will be readily accepted by them. This would be the normal practice & courtesy afforded between Fellowships/Assemblies.

Thank you Dianne for your contribution to this thread. I did take note of your understanding of Genesis 1:2 (i.e. saying that in the original text, 'was' is actually 'became'). So, I looked up the Hebrew for that word, which is 'ha-ye-tah', & the meaning given is, 'fall out, come to pass, become', which correlates to somewhat to your understanding. And yet, in reading the Hebrew Interlinear rendering, the word 'was' is still used & not implying that the Earth became something imperfect from something perfect. Of course, the word could allow for the other as well.

In any case, the point I was making in this thread, was that even if the Earth became formless & void from the workings of Satan (or, whatever), what Scriptures are evident to show that actually happened that way? All I see is a possible story built around that verse to give it its 'intended' meaning. And I'm afraid, I never approach Scripture in that manner, or else we can really get off track, & even with the very brief explanation of the Earth's creation given to us in the Bible, the best I can do is to allow for other possibilities & leave them as such - possibilities. There is no verse in the Bible that suggests that Satan being cast down to Earth caused the Earth then to take on such a void, dark & ugly condition. To suggest that a God of Light can create such an Earth is debatable, seeing that He has also created the other worlds of planets, stars & asteroids, which are not exactly in pristine condition by our standards of course, before God's Light shined. I was thinking the same thing. No matter how hard they try, the US doesn't come across as genuine. Right from the start Jefferson and L'Enfant fashioned federal buildings after Roman architecture, and emulated Rome's political structure. They were lovers of Satan too. If you look at an aerial view of Washington DC, you will see an inverted pentagram carved into the streets, and resting on top of the White House. An owl is carved in front of the capital, among other occult objects.

Rome will remain in tact, as the false prophet (pope) operates out of the Vatican. Spiritual Babylon was relocated to the states where it lives. Let the chips fall where they may. I'm at the mercy of the US govt to be level headed.

v.43 - And whereas thou sawest iron(Roman Empire) mixed with miry clay(Israel), they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men (many nations, Gentile peoples- Revelation 11:v.2): but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron(Roman Empire-Gentile peoples) is not mixed with clay(Jewish people - Israel).

Soul definition: the soul is our humanity that makes us feel emotions The spirit is our deeper connection with the Lord when we believe in God and RECEIVE Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.

This is a question that is not easy to point out in our everyday Christian lives. While it is not so difficult to distinguish the body from the spirit and the soul; it is particularly difficult to distinguish the soul from the spirit. How are they different?

There are a few places in the Bible where the body, soul, and spirit are mentioned

1 Thessalonians 5:23, Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are composed of three parts. It is easy to distinguish the body as physical (sight, hearing, taste, smell, touch). The spirit and soul are much more difficult because they seem similar, but are actually very different.

They have different functions in our lives as Christians in Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Matthew 10:28:And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

The soul is basically our mind, our emotions, and our will. It is who we are as human beings. It is also used to express God. As written in Luke 1:46-47, Mary said: My SOUL glorifies the Lord and my SPIRIT rejoices in God my Savior."

The function of the spirit is spiritual. The spirit is the only way to connect with God, and we can only use the spirit if we are born again, and receive The Holy Spirit through our Lord Jesus Christ's salvation.

Well, the battle is against THREE UNCLEAN SPIRITS LIKE FROGS - A SATANIC TRINITY

And the angel of the Lord said- Revelation 17:v.15: The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. Scripture is clear:This quoted verse reveals us the AQUATIC ENVIRONMENT of these spirits of demons like frogs which guide the peoples or rule the nations of all tongues in whole earth, through all kind of devilish systems, as religious systems (catholicism, and Judaism, and spiritism, budhism, islamism, among many others), and political systems, and military systems, and social and cultural systems, among others systems. In fact, Satan goes to and fro and from walking up and down among them.

By the way,the new NAME of Satan in the current time of Apocalypse is Dragon.Rev.12:v.9-And the great Dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his messengers(2Cor.11:v.13-15)were cast out with him.

10 Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the Power of His Christ...

All that Jesus received was from his Father . That makes him the Son of God .

The Gap Theory was developed based on wording of 1Genesis:1-2 and theorizes the world is much older and different than the world that was created for our existence over 6000 years ago. This old world could be million of years old and consisted of dinosaurs, unusual animals/plants and bi-pedal animals/neandrathals. Fossil records, skeletal remains prove their existence and sediment studies and fossil fuel formation indicate everything was destroyed and buried during a cataclysmic event. This event flooded the entire planet and destroyed ALL life and plunged the world into perpetual darkness. This is called the Pre-Adamic flood.

God went on to complete creating our current world for us as we know it that is over 6000 years old. God also commands us to repopulate the the earth implying it was once before occupied. Also the context used when God promised to not use flooding again as punishment after Noahs flood (destroyed all non-marine life) supports probability of pre-adam flood.
