I believe that the Lord don't look at what we do wrong, but he looks at our attitudes towards him and his will. The Lord is not interested in the stupid things and the mistakes we make in life, he is more concerned about our growth. Money is a natural thing, these things the Lord will forgive easily. It is when we cannot keep the commandments of Love, that is what the Lord is more concerned about. When we cannot Love our neighbor as we love our self and when we cannot Love God above all things. That is what the Lord wants us to grow in, if we do that, then the other things will slowly fade away. This is a process, and it will take time.

Nicodemus means valorous leader. Yet he met secretly with Christ Jesus prior to Calvary. This while his disciples openly contemplate their position in his reign.

Now sacrificed for our sins, it is Nicodemus, who openly serves the Lord, while his disciple hide/ forsake him.

I believe that Nicodemus is saved, born again, in heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ!

Brother Earl, the Battle at Armageddon has indeed been a 2000-year-long ongoing battle. However, in my spirit I believe it has been one of good against evil for the soul of humankind. It is the only instance where the war is won before the battle is fought. Christ won the war on Crucifixion Friday and Resurrection Sunday. However, God, in His infinite wisdom, has willed that Christ-followers do their part in fighting the ongoing battle, which is an arms race in kingdom building between Christ and the adversary, and is for the souls of humanity.

The Marriage Supper of the Lamb will occur when Christ returns to physically marry His betrothed Bride, which is the church ( Matt. 22:1-14; Rev. 19:7-8). It is called a supper because the Light of Christ will eat, or devour all spiritual darkness on earth, and because the fowl will eat the flesh of all men, small and great ( Rev. 19:17-18). The fowl which fly in the midst of heaven represent the angels God will dispatch to execute His judgment upon the ungodly.

Concerning 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 and the rapture, Christ does mention "the one being taken and another left" during eschatological events associated with the Second Coming ( Matt. 24:40-41). However, His words should be examined in light of Matthew 13:24-30 and 24:31 in which Christ speaks of angels taking or gathering people to a specific location. Scripture speaks of a hiding place ( Zech. 14:4-5), or a bunker of sorts (Is. 26:20-21) where the elect will go or will be taken, which Christ calls His barn ( Matt. 13:30). The concept of a mass catching away and the disappearance of believers all over the world is a concept of Christian fiction which became popular in the mid-to-late 1990s. The earliest evidence of the concept being introduced into mainstream Christendom began with John Darby in 1827, whose teachings influenced Cyrus Scofield, publisher of the Scofield Bible.

    May God bless you.

Greetings Brother Chris. This is a very interesting discussion; thank you. The Garden of Eden was paradise; and there was no evil in the reconstituted creation. Nakedness, which connotes shame ( Rev. 3:18), could not exist, for where there was no evil, and where there is no evil there is no sin, and where there is no sin, there is no shame. Darkness always represents evil. Therefore, the spiritual state of evil was a present force in Genesis 1:2. However, God "closed" the reconstituted creation and its inhabitants to its effects. This is conveyed in Adam and Eve's eyes being "closed" until they were "opened" after eating of the forbidden fruit, and the presence of evil flooded the creation.

Concerning the serpent being allowed in the Garden, God always forces those created as freewill agents, which are angels and mankind, to make choices which define their loyalty. Love cannot truly be quantified without a test of "relational againstness." In other words, a man does not truly love his wife if he cannot pass the test of adultery. Adam was to become the father of the elect, and receive the glory which was passed on to Abraham. Therefore, he had to be tested, just as Abraham's allegiance and love for God was tested; he had to prove that He loved God more ( Gen. 22:16-18).

Following his fall, the adversary was relegated to the position of tempter ( Matt. 4:3). Just as he tempted Christ, he was only allowed in the garden to tempt Eve, who was then used to test Adam's loyalty to God ( 1 Tim. 2:14-15). Adam listened to Eve and failed his test, unlike Job, who did not listen to his wife, and ultimately passed his test ( Job 2:9-10).

    May God bless you.

Greetings in the name of Christ. God does not want "dirty money" brought into His house. He states in Deuteronomy 23:18, "thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto the LORD thy God." The word "dog" is a reference to a male prostitute. One does not know the source of the money he or she receives in the winnings from gambling, some of which could be "dirty money" (e.g., gotten from white collar crime, theft, drug sales, the sale of pornographic literature). Undoubtedly, this is why God instituted the tithe so that His house would be maintained by "clean" money earned from honest work on one's job. The tithe can also apply to all times of income. Thank you and May God bless you!

Yes, Christ will come to His people firstly to them which are in the dust of the earth, in the sepulchres, as PROPHESIED ISAIAH: 26:v.19 to 21: 19 ... the earth shall cast out the dead. Aleluia!!! v.20 - reveals that the time is of GOD's wrath and He says to His people to enter "into their chambers, and shut the doors about them: and hiding theirself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. v.21 - the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity:

Really, "He will descend. With a shout. The voice of an archangel(Michael). The voice of command"; yes, ac cording Revelation 11:v.15 - The kingdoms of THIS WORLD (Devil's world) are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Yes, "He (the Lord) will descend. With a shout. The voice of an archangel. With the trumpet of God." The trumpet of GOD is a sound, it is a sound confirming everything that the men of God said, the prophets, the apostles, the angels, and especially what JESUS-GOD said.

Yes, "The trumpet blast as a signal and a summons", as said the prophet Joel:2:1-3: 1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand; 2 A Day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of CLOUDS and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. 3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is AS THE GARDEN OF EDEN before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.

In the clouds, yes, in the clouds, that is the next celestial environment which is much higher than the one we're in right now, that will be the third heaven - Luke 20:v.35-36.

Joel 3:2 I will also GATHER all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people...and JESUS left very clear in Matthew 25:v.31-33, saying 31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations:and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. JESUS also said: In the time of HARVEST I will say to the reapers,Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

JESUS as GOD is the Son of man(capital leter)as the prophets also were son of man,and Michael(Miguel) archangel is also a son of man, and he is engaged in war ( Revelation 12) and also in the harvest, inclusive there will be resurrection and great tribulation-Dan.12:v.1-3:

12 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince( Joshua 5:13-15)which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of TROUBLE,such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time:and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament;and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

1Thes.4:15-17- 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel-MICHAEL,and with the trump of God:and the dead in CHRIST shall rise first-RESURRECTION:

Hi Chris, I've meditated, and only have a teeny tiny thing to add...b4 there were jews and gentiles, there was Adam and Eve... And Cain.

For sure GOD spoke to them(and Noah..) Where biblically, does it 'dis'prove that GOD The Father', walked with them ... But after they disobeyed Him, God The Son dealt with mankind, and only after Jesus (God-man) died for our sins, ( ' Father why have you forsaken me... Because HE couldn't look on 'sin', even in His perfect son)... are we now, thru Jesus, back in commune with Father.... I think, even fine bible teachers say God said, and God did... and they don't clarify... I think GOD, is purposeful, and says what HE means, and he deals with us intimately, and in His Son, we've been blessed to commune/ pray and speak to Him, by the finished work of the cross. And with Love, I say this Chris... yes , The GOD Loves the Jews, but Not more than All of mankind... Abraham was as steep in idlolotry They were chosen to be taught, then go out and teach the 'rest, gentiles' that All mankind would know the truth... And Un- belief will be the undoing of any human...

"For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment."

Could this be said about us?
  • Faith H Baker - In Reply - 4 years ago
Hi Karen, again, Thank you for your reply. As I was meditating on your comment, I realized I needed to clarify something... I believe I said did God ' The Father' stop communicating with mankind and God ' the Son is the one who has spoken from that point on, I say that, because , when Jesus said'...why have You ( God ' The Father') forsaken me', it's my understanding, That ABBA Father could not look upon Sin, and our LORD Jesus was full of our sins, to die our death... But when Father raised Him from the dead , and HE ascended back to Father, We , who believe the Gospel, ( died, buried, raised) Praise GOD!!!.. we are indwelled by The Holy Spirit, and are now in The body of Christ, and because of this, we, in Jesus Name, are back in commune, thru Him, with Father...I don't mean to squeeze so much into this small paragraph, but Jesus is the way, the truth the life the light, and no one goes to 'Father 'but thru Him... I know GOD is Triune, but I find that people say God said this and God did that... But if Jesus, God 'the Son' speaks relationship with mankind, isn't that what He means? When we pray in Jesus name, aren't we back in commune with Father, because we're in His Son? Otherwise there's no hope? Please let me know where If I've misunderstood something, Thank you! God Bless

    Pastor-Ronnie Williams,

I feel the same as you do about my personal trespasses, they are difficult to lift. There was a person, within a group of people in my realm, that used my failure and misfortune against me, highlighting my shame and shortcomings. As the mocking grew, I became enraged and beat the living daylights out of this person, who was much bigger than me, and just like that the torment stopped. One by one, and out of their own fear, every member of the group became my "friend". Never underestimate the impact of well timed beating upon your enemies.

If you have studied your shortcomings, and understand you will never repeat them, you'll need to pardon yourself, and swiftly move on about your business.

Hi Larry. Genesis 15:13 actually states that the descendants of Abraham would be as "strangers in a land that is not theirs & shall serve them". This Word from God came to Abraham whilst Abraham was asleep & was eventually fulfilled (after Abraham passed on), when the children of Israel were "strangers", or foreigners in the land of the Caananites & then afterwards in Egypt (& you might remember that Moses was sent to be the one to release the Israelites from the slavery in Egypt).
  • Chris - In Reply on Exodus 19 - 4 years ago
Hi Paul. That phrase you quoted, that appears in verse 22 also, indicates what the LORD would do to anyone (whether priest or another), if they should overstep the bounds that He set for them. Only Moses & Aaron were entitled to approach God, at which time God would converse with Moses (Aaron might have been at the base of Mt. Sinai). That is why the people trembled, for it meant instant judgement & death for any disobedience.

Bobby B., thanks for these scriptures. My faith had to grow up, I was naive, and didn't understand why "I was hated without a cause." I wanted to stay like a little girl in the faith, held in the arms of the Father and held in the arms of the world! But slowly he was rising as a Warrior in me, preparing instruments of battle in me. I didn't understand, I wanted to remain passive like a child in his arms. But no. It's not the Jesus of the church basement pictures, gentle, surrounded by little children. We grow up in faith to enter a battle, over time we are no longer surprised at the fiery trials, or the experience of being rejected. Rejection of the world is the way forward. "if you suffer with Him...."
