Bryce , a Christian is never ever alone and all scripture is very helpful but I find the Psalms most comforting and calming when this life starts to get me down a bit , the story of David's life is very comforting also , here is a man ,very much a human being with all of the common weaknesses ,who makes many mistakes and commits not a few sins and yet he loves God very much and is very much loved by God , he is the perfect example of a human who isn't perfect in his behaviour but learns from his mistakes and never completely looses touch with his Creator dispute having to live a very worldly wise life .His actions are told in the books of Samuel Kings and Chronicles but we can get to know his heart through reading the Psalms . Enjoy the love .

In Hebrews 10:25 it talks about not forsaking the assembling of yourselves together. In some church circles, this is interpreted as the requirement to be in church when the doors are open, every service.

What are your thoughts on this requirement?

Technology is a wonderful thing to abusers. They use parental features to block phone numbers. They can use passwords to block access to bank accounts and track browsing history. They know, to the tenth of a mile the distance to the grocery, and they can look at the mileage to know if you deviated, and they can fake financial records at premarital counseling.

We were introduced by a common friend. He had considered her. They worked together for years, but he knew her divorce left her financially shaky, and the entire reason for picking someone out was to have their salary to solve his problems.

I had no where to go. Shelters don't take pets, and my church had no help, so I went to stay with friends, who became angry that I didn't hate him. I suspect he is bipolar, as it runs in his family, though his immediate family doesn't admit it. I tried to get him to a physician, and he refused. An uncle was hospitalized in the 60's, and his mother was brutal. I tried to explain it is a medical issue, to no avail. But, I left my friends, who consider themselves Good Catholics (I am not Catholic), because they were angry that I refused to hate him. He has a mental illness. I'd never trust or live with him again. But, it isn't Christian behavior to hate or wish him ill/dead. In the end, they treated me exactly as he had, which hurt more. They gossiped to friends. They tried to give my things away, because in their opinion, I didn't need them. They made scenes in stores. They considered me unable to make decisions about my life because I had picked him, after all. They threw my things in storage, keeping something incredibly important. They criticized everything I said or did, and if I said something, I was playing the victim or too sensitive. It is always my fault, never their fault.

Churches have no plan for abuse. Leaving is the easy part. It is trying to recover that is a LONG hard process. Almost 2 years now, and nowhere near recovered.

    Amen Brother Adam,

I also believe the taking away in Luke is judgment. Some mistake the taking away here is the rapture and the ones left behind goes into the Tribulation.

But in the days of Noah the Group being taken away is taken away by the flood not the Ark.

Luke 17:26-31. And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

    Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.

Brother Jesse, MAY CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

Your question was: When we are gathered one by one where do we go.

It's not as much a question of where do we go: BUT who do we become.

I BELIEVE we become sons of God when we depart this body of earthly flesh.

    Matthew 24:40

I BELIEVE the one taken becomes a son of God and the one left stays on earth confined to death and the grave, awaiting the second resurrection.

    Luke 17:37

I BELIEVE the battle of Armageddon has been going on for 2000 years. It's the battle of worldly flesh against Spirit. Your fleshly mind has to be DESTROYED. The eagles (vultures) eat flesh. I BELIEVE it's happening now, you just can not see it because it is a spiritual battle. I BELIEVE Revelation 19; along with many other scriptures, describes this DESTRUCTION of the flesh as a necessity before the the marriage of the bride (can't be seen). Flesh and blood CANNOT inherit the kingdom of God.

Christ said my words are SPIRIT; the words being fulfilled, can't been seen.

Hebrews 12:18 For we ARE NOT COME unto the mount that can be TOUCHED ....

Hebrews 12:22 But you are come unto mount Sion (can't be touched or seen) (the battle for the kingdom can't be touched or seen), and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem (can't be touched of seen), and to an innumerable company of angels,

Hebrews 12:23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to spirits of JUST men made PERFECT (mature).

If you have come into full maturity (being made perfect) then you are EXACTLY like the SEED you came from.

Luke 8:11 The parable is this: the SEED is the WORD of God.

You are a SON OF GOD. (but never with the glory of the firstborn, JESUS)

    Hi Luis.

No sir, I'm not an author of any books.

Never heard of a third Adam.

A few months ago I posted a comment on this site on

1 Corinthians 15:45. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

What's the story on the third Adam?

We can do nothing without Christ and with Christ is the Father! We are of Christ and are expected by our Heavenly Father to produce fruit....if we fail to produce fruit in Christ then we can be cut off....and those of us that do produce fruit are purged so that we can produce MORE fruit...but none of this can be done of ourselves....it must be done by Christ that lives within us! He tells us that IF we will abide..or remain in Him and in His Word...that whatsoever we ask of Him will be given unto us. We are commanded to love one another and by keeping this commandment we will bear fruit that is not only glorifying to the Father but also a blessing to those in need! All of this is completed by the Holy Spirit which is our Comforter as we will need comforting as they hated Jesus...they will also hate us, as scripture must be fulfilled!! We are to bear witness of Gods' Greatness, His joy, love, peace, meekness, kindness, longsuffering, and spirit control (meaning The Holy Spirit/Christ/God needs complete control us) and we can!! As long as we ALLOW God to work through the Spirit in every aspect of our lives!

    God Bless!!

I know God is forgiving, and I joyfully accept His forgiveness. My weakness comes in my inability to forgive myself. The world is constantly reminding me of my wrongdoing. Sadly, the world to which I'm referring is within the church.

our eyes continuously on Jesus, not on ourselves. Not on perfecting ourselves, sanctifying ourselves or improving ourselves. Our eyes only upon Him... that is the only way to deal with pernicious self-love. We might as well admit it now, we will never be anything but filthy rags. Only Jesus is the perfect love of God we seek.....

2 nd Cor. 3: 6 kjv Who has made us able ministers of the New Testament not of the letter, but of the Spirit for the letter killeth ( the written word without the H.G.) But the Spirit giveth life . Jesus said your fathers ate manna in the wilderness, its written he gave them bread from heaven but there was no eternal life in the manna. I am that living bread from heaven if any man eat of me he shall neva die . The written word is paper and ink but the living word is spirit and life . The written word can be molested and has been molested by MANS CARNAL MINDS but the LIVING WORD CANNOT BE MOLESTED AS THE LIVING WORD IS GOD ALMIGHTY. th H.G. Remember Moses face was glorious but that glory was done away with . Paul said we see like thru a glass darkly but when that which is perfect is come ( the LIVING WORD JESUS ) that which is done in part will be done away with .

Sometimes God's people feel alone, especially during times of troubled waters like your father being ill with Covid 19. First of all, you have to understand that nothing you go through compares with the torture, crusifiction, and loneliness Christ experienced on the Cross.

At the very moment Jesus cried, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" ( Mark 15:34), the world's sins were laid on His shoulders, and because God isn't able to look at sin, He turned away, casting Jesus in loneliness that none of us will ever experience.

Christ gave his life for our sins so that if we believe in our heart that he is the Son of God, confess our sins, repent, and ask Him to come into our hearts. He will save us. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." ( John 3:16)

He will never leave us uncomforted. "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid." ( John 14:26-27)

When things are going south we sometimes get to thinking God has forsaken us. But God's word tells us that He can no more forget us than a mother can forget to nurse her baby. He will never forget or forsake us for we are carved into the palm of His hands, and our lives are continually before Him. ( Isaiah 49: 14-16)

I was newborn child in Christ when some day one of the oldest come too me and saied: Do you Free open upp the meating on sunday. Ill think hard before ill sayed yeeees. I was not sure if i could do this.

Tha day come and il begin to read and do my werry best for this meeting.

A word come too me: Luke 6

    42. Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.

And I'll thought that this word i am not willing to give to the community. And for all things in this world, not at the man who shall be preaching!

So i go to the Psalms and picked out a song. That ill ment was good for all to hear.

The hour comes when ill go forward and read clearly in to the air the song i have picked out. Suddenly ill get something in my left eye, that was hurting me. And the hurt get me no peace. Thru the meeting and to the erly night the hurt in my eye was no better. I begun to worried if I'll had done something wrong too the Lord Jesus. So after a while i begun too surge in my King James version, and look for answer. And I'll get answers too my error.

The end of the testimony is: When i the day after had wrote a letter to the man who was preached that day, and said to him what ill really should have open the meeting with Luke 6. 42 and put a stample on it. And deliver it in the post office.

My pain in the eye was gone!

That give me a good learning, because I'll learn to never take word from my mind, or too hit people with it, and if that happens must my dear Jesus Christ forgive my enthusiasm for too deliver His word.

    Then I'll remember Matthew 4.4.

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Take care everyone in Jesus name.
