2:28 Afterward - After the return out of Babylon, after the various troubles and salvations by which these may know that I am the Lord. I will pour - In extraordinary gifts on the first preachers of the gospel, and in various graces to all believers. Upon all flesh - Before these gifts were confined to one particular nation; but now they shall be enlarged to all nations, and all that believe. Shall prophesy - This was in part fulfilled according to the letter in the first days of the gospel; but the promise MEANS FARTHER, by pouring out of the spirit on your sons and your daughters, they shall have as full a knowledge of the mysteries of God's law, as prophets before time had. Shalt dream dreams - This also was literally fulfilled in the apostles days. But it may MEAN FARTHER
, the knowledge of God and his will, shall abound among all ranks, SEXES and ages in the Messiah's days, and not only equal, but surpass all that formerly was by prophesy, dreams, or visions.
In my experience, we all submit ourselves to learn under Church Leadership. You grow up. You involve yourself in Ministry of some kind; and demonstrate faithfulness to growing others up.
You do not think highly of your abilities until you put in some time, learning and doing. You can practice on people in these comment rooms. There are scholars here, and babes in Christ. Perhaps become involved in evangelism...where the rubber meets the road. Certainly, be part of intercession prayer groups.
One teacher that I met in a week Conference at my Church (open to men and women) is an excellent equipping teacher. Go on YouTube and look up, Iverna Tompkins.
If you read that Commentary on Joel, you'll see it speaks of a future generation. If God has a call on your life, it will grow only as you're willing to grow it. Sometimes our presumptions die grizzly deaths; but in the end we will shine like gold, in the Masters Hand.
Be of good courage.
6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
Let us Read from Mark 7: about the Centurions request to Jesus. Also, Jesus's reply to the Centurion. Let us not disregard Job 1. Satan has no authority of his own; to take our life from us. Not anymore. Jesus took the Keys of death and the grave, away from Satan at the finished work of the Cross.
Have you called your Church to come and pray for you? The Pastor and his devoted prayer warriors?
The Body of Christ are the Hands of Jesus; His mouth, His Will working, through them. Don't shun them because you think you're contemplating suicide. This is not that.
Apostle Paul had been stoned, beat up, in prison, starved, cursed, ship wrecked, bit by a deadly viper, called a heretic by the Jews: he wanted to go be with Jesus! But he stuck it out a while longer, so he could plant churches WITHIN Jesus's followers. He died horribly at the hands of the Romans. You're going to meet Paul :)
If your work is finished here; and you've "set your house in order", it is no sin to decline the machines. That's not a suicide. If after you've read all these scriptures and you called in your Church to pray for you: it is between you and your Lord. He is touched by your infirmities and suffering. God is not going to suffer you to be kept alive by a machine. Be at peace. Psalm 23.
May God's angels stand around your beside and protect you.
I hope you will share more, the Lord shines right through your English perfectly and uniquely......
God Bless!

The Spirit (Holy Spirit) executes the spoken word. Action.
All working together. Jesus came to show us the Father, as Emmanuel
Matthew 1:23
"Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us."
Jesus came to bring to each born again believer; the baptism and the in-dwelling of the Holy Spirit.

To REFUSE this knowledge, is to reject the Son of God, and his provision. Read all those scriptures before you decide. Jesus doesn't brainwash anybody. Ask His followers.
Mishael
Matthew 18:19-20
That if two of you shall AGREE on earth as touching any thing (or person) that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, THERE AM I, in the midst of them.
John 1:12
Yet to all who receive him, to those who BELiEVED in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.
1 Timothy 2:8
I will, therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
Matthew 7:7
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be OPENED to you.
No one helped me to be saved. No one invited me to go to their Church with them. They just regarded me as "too far gone" in sinful ways, to be reached.
Only my Grandmother sent me love letters about Jesus. Which I scorned at first and put in a drawer. After her death, I read them. That kind of love destroys the walls of hardness.
Despite how everyone treated me, I answered that knock on the day of my salvation. I gave Him all of my pain, and He gave me joy and peace.
Don't give up.
God's dictates all salvation-related events connected to His elect which occur throughout man's chronological journey on earth. His pre-ordained will is signified in the book which Christ comes to take out of the Father's hand in Revelation 5:1-7. It was written in God's created universe that Christ would be crucified should man fall before the first seal was opened and the story of man began. Therefore, Christ was the only one who open the book and begin the story of man for only His life could end the story with man living forever with God. Therefore, Christ had already been crucified in the spiritual realm and the elect were chosen before the foundation of the world ( Eph. 1:4,5, 11).
Most of God's elect have "a zeal" of God, but not according to knowledge, for they being ignorant of God's righteousness, are going about to establish their own righteousness, having not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
Matt 7:13-14, Gives us the division of the few that have been revealed the knowledge of God's righteousness who enter into the straight gate and the narrow way that leads them to enjoy an abundant life as they sojourn here on earth. Those that enter the wide gate and the broad way are the vast majority of God's elect who are teaching and preaching eternal deliverance by their good works, which leads to destruction. All of God's elect have had their sins paid for by Jesus on the cross and will all enjoy eternal deliverance into heaven, without the lose of even one.
I believe the scriptures teach that there will be more to enter heaven, than hell, as many as the stars in heaven and the sand in the seashore, too numerous to count.
Jeremiah 21:8, I do not believe that this passage is referring to "life in heaven", and "death in hell". "Death" according to Greek translation means "separation". God is telling his elect to choose that abundant life that we can enjoy by entering into the strait gate referred to in Matt 7. The "death" would be a separation from enjoying that good and abundant life.
God granted mankind the ability to choose out the way he wants to live his life here on earth, and mankind choose not to seek God. Psalms 53:2-3. God, by his foreknowledge of this, choose an elect people from within those that did not seek him.
Undoubtedly, the conditions in Genesis 1:2 were the result of God's judgment in the form of a Noahic-type flood in which He extracted all light and structure from the earth, leaving it in a "voided" state, the Biblical definition of which is associated with emptiness, desolation, and chaos. Scripture suggests the reason for God's judgment in Ezekiel 28:11-19. It speaks of the adversary, the old serpent ( Rev. 12:9), having been in the Garden of Eden, and subsequently being stripped of all his glory after iniquity was found in him and he became filled with violence because of his merchandise. If, indeed, the earth was the setting for this activity, and had become the product of such violence and corruption, it would definitely have prompted God's judgment. Keep in mind that violence and corruption impelled God to pass judgment in the form of the Noahic flood ( Gen. 6:10-13).
Following God's judgment, the evidence of which is found in Genesis 1:2, He presents Christ, His Son, in Genesis 1:3, who reintroduces light into the creation, reestablishes order, and proceeds to create. Today Christ continues to be the spiritual glue which holds the creation together and causes its harmonious functioning. Paul says, "by Him all things consist" ( Col. 1:17b).
america & israel = mene, mene, tekel, upharsin ( daniel 5:25)
I said yeah.
Could you stand the torture? And could you stand the pain? Could you put your faith in Jesus when you're burning in the flames? I said yeah.
You'll never make a saint of me, oh yeah.
I would submit that a careful search of the scriptures will show that there are two Covenants; Paul refers to both. The one being the Covenant written in stone and hand delivered by God himself at Mount Horeb. This is the Covenant for which the Ark was built. God said; "If you will obey my voice indeed and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a Kingdom of priests and a Holy Nation. This covenant was rejected by the children of Israel when they fled and demanded that Moses act as Mediator for them. God responded to this by creating the Aaronic priesthood and having Moses give them a different set of Laws (The Law of Moses)which was written by Moses and placed in the side of the ark as a witness against them. This law was given to them in Moab, in addition to the first Covenant which they rejected. This is why Jesus says; you have one that accuses you even Moses in whom you trust. He is constantly chiding them for ignoring the commandments of God to keep their own traditions, going so far as to point out that "Moses gave you circumcision, because it is of the fathers, and that Moses suffered you to divorce your wives. Jesus went out Preaching The Kingdom of God is at hand, because he was there to finish his fathers work. If you will obey my voice and keep my covenant: Then you shall be a Kingdom of priests and a Holy Nation. Jesus came to make sure that this time there were those who accepted the offer. Remember that Jesus is the "Stone the Builders rejected" Israel never became that kingdom. till Jesus came. A remnant
Why in Isaiah would they say plainly "I am the Lord and besides me there is no Saviour?" And in Colossians "In him (Jesus) dwells all of the FULLNESS of the GODHEAD bodily"? Why does James say "Even the devils believe there is ONE God (not three!) And shudder" And another verse in Isaiah plainly says "Is there any God besides me? I know not of any!." Jesus says to John in Revelation "I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and End, the First and the Last!" And in Exodus when Moses asks Gods name, he says "I am that I am". When Jesus said that same statement in John, the pharisees took up stones to throw at him, because they knew he was plainly saying "I am God almighty". Also in John, when Philip said "Lord, show us the father, and it sufficed us" Jesus said to him "Have I been with you so long, Philip, that you do not realize who I AM? He who has seen me has seen the father." So, how can you believe in Three Gods when the bible clearly states that there is One God ( Deuteronomy 6:4)?
While you left a comment very tough to respond to!! The Lord may decide to speak through someone on this matter or perhaps he already did, Or perhaps to communicate with you directly.
I believe you have to take this straight to the Lord.
NOT Asking to leave here, but to stay here peacefully if it be his will.
We will be praying for you.
God bless you.
"President Biden warned President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia on Friday that time was running out for him to rein in the ransomware groups striking the United States, telegraphing that this could be Mr. Putin's final chance to take action on Russia's harboring of cybercriminals before the United States moved to dismantle the threat."
"Mr. Biden's challenge to Mr. Putin could pose a major credibility test in coming weeks - and further escalate a Cold War-like series of confrontations between the United States and Russia" NYT 7/9/21
Revelation 17 is playing out right under our noses. Preconceived notions are deeply tattooed on the DNA. Not knowing the times we live in will push the apocalypse right through you, as if you were a child.
This life is short, and will end in the blink of an eye. The next life will be forever.
Jesus explains why we should fear God in the scripture below:
Matthew 10:28
"And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."
Happy Sabbath and God Bless!
It would be interesting to hear how others here are striving to become like children.
Jesus said in scripture below, that in order to enter into the kingdom of heaven we need to be converted and humble ourselves as a little child.
Matthew 18:1-4
1At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? 2And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, 3And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. 4Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Jesus says: If we don't become as children - we WILL NOT enter the kingdom of heaven!
Something to think about on this Holy Sabbath Day!
God Bless
Thankyou very much.
After he died, and God raised Him from the dead, and He now sits at the right hand of the father- do these rules not apply to "Christians"?
It seems to me that all these rules were for the 12 disciples only, at that point in time.
Not for every "believer" since then, for all time.
Example:
19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
Is this why "Christians" who are being persecuted keep their mouths shut??
Is this why those "christians" that were beheaded by Islamics kept their mouths shut? Were they waiting for God to speak through them??
