I am currently on dialysis. My heart is not well. If I choose to terminate my dialysis treatments, will I go to hell for the unforgivable sin of suicide? I strongly believe that I am living on borrowed time and I'm well passed my time to leave. I am suffering greatly.

Don't believe in man's words.the popular preaching today leads us to believe that if we just believe in Jesus we will be saved. This is a very popular worldly view today, and conjured up to make people think we are saved and can not fail to achieve heaven. It is a false sense of security, and a false teaching! It is contrary to what our bible scripture instructs us. Ask yourself: Do you really want to follow the popular worldly view?

Read and believe in your bible scripture

    Jeremiah 21:8

"And unto this people thou shalt say, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I set before you the way of life, and the way of death."

God said:" I set before you a way of life, and a way of death!" Even though God and his Son Jesus Christ gave us a path to life. Not everyone will find their way..many more people will find Death!

    1 Peter 4:18

"And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?"

If the righteous "SCARCELY" be saved..doesn't sound like many people will get to heaven. Do you believe this? I do.

And why did Jesus say this scripture below if he didn't mean it to be TRUE!

    Matthew 7:13

"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:"

Jesus is telling all of us that will listen - there is no free ticket to heaven.

    God Bless

I agree. In terms of backslidding or if someone errs from the truth do you think that includes dwindling faith or confusion about doctrine?

God has his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of earth, and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou? Dan 4:35. If God wants all mankind to live with him in heaven, he will have his will and all mankind would live with him in heaven, in which, we know that the scriptures teach that not all of mankind will be in heaven.

Thank you very much, it is really one of the most marvellous and powerful sections of scripture for me, and I

feel drawn to sit with it often..... I like very much how you explained that Paul had miracle-working power, but he was determined that they know nothing of himself, only his message, "Christ and him crucified." And it's not a message the reasoning mind can wrap itself around easily! I just always wondered what "with demonstration of the Spirit and of power" meant. I mean, I never "felt" the power (no flesh shall glory in his presence) and often if I looked out at appearances, I did not see "signs and wonders." Still, the Holy Spirit keeps highlighting that phrase in me, in a way that draws me very powerfully, even if I don't see the "power" or the "signs." "I determine not to know any thing among you save Jesus Christ and him crucified...." I even went into my school job today, moving desks around, helping another teacher, doing outer things, but hearing it within..... I say, "Lord, what are you saying here?" and he is teaching me to be still, to listen and to behold. I know one thing, more and more He is asking me to bless all who come to me.... Thank you both for your responses. God Bless You....

    (Part 2)

    Nicole,

2 Corinthians 6:15 is interesting. It says what concord hath Christ with Belial? We know who Christ is. Without getting too technical, Belial means "good for nothing." So Christ, and "good for nothing," if you put those two together, you don't have a very good mix. The word concord is a Greek word (SUMPHONE) and it's where we get our word symphony from. And it means agreement.

Jesus said in Matthew chapter 18 that if two or three agree together on earth on anything, I will do it. It's the word SUMPHONE. In other words, God's going to bless two or more that are gathered together who are all "playing the same song." You don't have to be playing the same part, but the same song. You got to be one! And when you are one together in the body of Christ, the ministry of God's Spirit can flow. If you are at odds with each other (your situation described), there will be no ministry there.

So this means symphony. What music is Christ and Satan going to play together? None! Or what part, and that's literally what it means, what part has he that believes with an infidel? There is no part. They do not fit together.

Verse 17 says to get out of there. Do not compromise your position in Christ Jesus for the sake of "friendship."
  • Jesse - In Reply on Revelation 1 - 4 years ago
    Nicole,

The best thing to do would be to get out of there now. I want to share some scripture with you but first off, I am curious to know if your husband is a believer? Also, you mention that this Satanist "friend" makes fun of you for your belief in Christ? Does your husband allow this person to do this? Is he even aware of it?

Now the scripture I want to share with you is 2 Corinthians 6:14-18. In verse 14, there is a command for the believer. It says "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers." In other words, stay away from them. Now, let me just mention this to you because it's something that I have found to be very important in the body of Christ, even though people in our society today don't like it.

God's greatest influence in ministry is to be separated from those involved in sin (your Satanist friend). But it doesn't make any difference who they are, if they are an unbeliever, the bible tells us to not be unequally yoked together with them. I wouldn't even call this person a friend. Verse 14 tells us that we are not to have fellowship with them. The word fellowship means partnership. So we're talking about business deals and anything that has to do with being partners with another person.

He says what partnership does righteousness have with unrighteousness? It doesn't. It doesn't fit because there are different motives. Secondly, what communion does light have with darkness? That's the word KOINONIA for fellowship. What fellowship can light have with darkness? There is no spiritual fellowship there at all between a believer and a non-believer.

I am running out of space and will continue this because I believe this is very important and I am truly concerned for your spiritual welfare. I will send the continuation as (Part 2).

IMO Just me when the father said to go forth and multiply an REPLENISH the Earth, thats when the sower of that good seed will go forth and sow his seed ( his incorruptible seed the words of that Book,) that new covenant the contents of the Book in the fathers right hand .But Jesus will not sow flesh and blood Children, as he multiplies after the God kind i.e his seeds are spirit thus WE will birth a new heart and a new spirit which is the H.G. That Child of Promise .Remember Jesus said that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit thats the Israel of God our new heart and new spirit the H.G. Remember David spoke of a ppl that wd have to come and be born and declear his generation . Which are the Israel of God that is gonna be born in humanity, A lil one shall become a 1000 and small one a strong nation,This is that ppl that are gonna be born in US VIA HIS SEED THE WORD ,Ya remember Jesus said whosoever receiveth one such Child in my name receiveth ME. Unless ya receive the KINGDOM OF GOD AS A LIL child etc, She brought forth a man child that is gonna rule all nations .The manchild is gonna replenish this earth . Jesus said when HE the spirit of truth is come ( he will reprove the world of sin and righteousness and judgement ) and Isaiah refers to this great king as the manchild, Gods battle ax mankinds fruit unto God via that good seed the words of the book, In the VOLUME of the book i delight to do thy wil O GOD. But yes there is another ppl coming which are spirits they are the only ones that can come and declear his generation. remember Jesus said he had a greater witness then that of John which is the H.G. That child of promise That Child of Promise. The weaned child and the sucking Child are his CHILDREN that are gonna be born in US, they shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, FOR THE EARTH SHALL BE FULL OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE LORD AS THE WATERS COVER THE SEAS , iTS by his seed that the earth shall be replenished the new covenant .

    The 70 th Week

    Part 1

There are many teachings on the end times and many include seven years which comes from the book of Daniel, taking the last week of the 70 weeks prophecy given to Daniel from God through the angel Gabriel.

The 70-week prophecy given to Daniel has been used to create a doctrine of the rapture of the church, pre, mid, post, the last week, and much more. The reason for this post is I feel it is deceiving and causes people to be looking for something that will not happen, the days to come will be horrible, many of us if we are still living will face death.

This prophecy was on Judah and the city of Jerusalem, and six things were determined upon them that would be fulfilled during this time. ( Daniel 9:25) From the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah (Jesus) will be 69 weeks, rebuilding the temple is not in this prophecy. The first captives released with Zerubbabel started work on the temple first before Ezra and Nehemiah ever went to Jerusalem, the temple was rebuilt before the 70-weeks prophecy started, it was dedicated in 515BC, finished in 516 BC.

When did the clock start on the prophecy? ( Nehemiah 2:1-8), the twentieth year of Artaxerxes I, 445/444 BC. In this decree, Nehemiah tells the king he was sad because the city of his father's lieth in waste. So, Jerusalem has not been rebuilt at this time. The king gave him permission to go and rebuild the city, the walls, and the gates.

69x7=483 years 365-day years, Daniel used prophetical years; 30-day months, 360-day years so, to convert 365-day years to 360-day years, 483x360=173880 days divided by 365=476 years. So, if the going forth was in 445 BC, minus 476 brings us to 31 AD. Because there is not a 0 year subtract 1, that puts it at 30 AD. With the different historical records, it could be 29/31 AD. This is when Jesus came to John B and was baptized 69 weeks from the going forth from 445/444BC.

    The 70 th Week

    Part 2

More scripture on Jesus first coming ( Luke 3:1-6) Tiberius Caesar was emperor from 14-37 A.D. Pontius Pilate ruled from 26-36 A.D. so the fifteenth year of Tiberius would have been 29-31 A.D. start of John the Baptist ministry. Jesus was baptized, then Jesus went into the wilderness for forty days, tempted by Satan. Then His ministry started. They put John B in jail and later beheaded him. Not long after, in John 2, Jesus was in Cana of Galilee at the wedding and after in John 2:13, the Passover was at hand. This would place it just before spring of 29-31 A.D. maybe a month before the Passover.

( Daniel 9:26), "after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off". The 7 weeks, 49/48.3 years that are not counted. This was when the restoration and repairing of the walls, streets, and gates of the city of Jerusalem by Ezra and Nehemiah ( Nehemiah 2:8-17; 4:17). Troublous times when their enemies tried to stop the building ( Nehemiah 4:7) the first 7 weeks, 49 years, or 48.3 prophetical years of the prophecy. So, the main word here is after. The Messiah (Jesus) is cut off 7+62=69+3.5 years= 479.5 prophetical years with 3.5 years to go to 490 years 365-day years or 483 prophetical years

The other half of 9:26 tells us the people (Roman army) of the prince (Titus) "that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary" 70 AD. Titus did not want to destroy the temple, he wanted to make it a Roman temple but the army (people) set it on fire and destroyed it.

( Daniel 9:27). Jesus was here 3.5 years confirming the covenant to the lost sheep of Israel. When Jesus was cut off (crucified) in the middle of the week, He caused the Levitical law sacrifices and oblations to cease, no more animal sacrifices would be accepted by God, Jesus said the worship of God will no longer be accepted at the temple ( John 4:19-24), and the veil rent in half, ( Matthew 23:31-38) covers the second half of verse 9:27.

    The 70 th Week

    Part 3

Jesus confirmed the last 3.5 years through His apostles ending when Stephen was killed, Paul was converted, Peter had his dream the conformation to Judah ended and the gospel was sent to the Gentiles. This fulfills the 70=weeks 490/483 years

We have been told to study, we are told to test the spirits, trust our teacher the Holy Spirit and pray. These are the six things that were determined on Judah and the holy city Jerusalem, a few verses that may help see if this has been fulfilled by Jesus.

    1. To finish the transgression ( Isaiah 53:5, 8) ( Isaiah 53:11) ( Hebrews 9:15-18)

    2. To make an end of sins ( Matthew 1:21) ( Hebrews 10:8-11) ( John 1:29) ( 1 Corinthians 15:3)

    ( 1 John 3:5) ( Psalm 32) ( Romans 8:3)

    3. To make reconciliation for iniquity ( Colossians 1:20-22) ( Isaiah 53:6) ( Isaiah 53:11) ( Ephesians 2:16) ( Titus 2:14) ( 2 Corinthians 5:18-19)

    4. To bring in everlasting righteousness ( Romans 5:17-21) ( Romans 3:21-26) ( 1Peter 2:24)

    ( 2 Corinthians 5:21) ( Isaiah 61:10-11)

    5. To seal up vision and prophecy ( Daniel 9:23) ( John 6:27) ( Mark 1:14-15) ( Acts 3:18)

    ( John 5:36-40) ( Matthew 11:11-15)

    6. To anoint the most holy ( Hebrews 8:1-12) ( Hebrews 9:6-14)

The 70 th week has been used along with other Bible verses to paint a fantastic picture of end times. The pre, mid, or post rapture of the Church, an antichrist, 7-year tribulation, 3.5-year covenant with Israel, a third temple, abomination of desolation, 3.5 years great tribulation after breaking covenant, and more. Many of these teachings started in the late 1600s. I hope this helps, if this prophecy has been fulfilled, it will show the falsehoods of these teachings because without using part of the 70 weeks prophecy given to Daniel, these teachings will fall apart.

Acts.3:18 But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.

    The 70 th Week

I agree with S Spencer about all the end-time speculations on things we will not know the answer to until things start to happen. All these pointing fingers at different nations. Did Daniel know Rome would be the fourth beast? No. He was not told.

Hopefully, this will be enough information and with some study, the truth can be seen.

End time prophecy can be like a ring, both ends touch and we can get caught up in this ring that has no beginning or end with the answers just out of reach and if we are not careful we can be deceived, the meaning of deceived is to be taken out of the way. This is not speculation about the end times and not to create division, it is about a prophecy that has already been fulfilled. It will be in 3 parts, sorry for the length but I feel it needs to be said. I will post in reverse so hopefully, it can be read from part one to part three.

Pauls preaching was not with just words but also in demonstration of spiritual power in the name of Jesus Christ. He never argued with human intellect but displayed God given ability I.E. signs wonders and miracles. In context thats what its talking about
  • S Spencer - In Reply - 4 years ago
    Hi Lauren.

What Paul is saying here is a marvelous saying!

This early in chapter we will have to go to chapter 1 to get the context.

    1 Corinthians 1:27-31.But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

That no flesh should glory in his presence.

But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

That, according as it is written, ( HE THAT GLORIETH, LET HIM GLORY IN THE LORD)

You noticed I highlighted the last phrase of Ch 1, It will help in understanding

    Ch 2:1-2.

1 Corinthians 2:1-2. And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.

For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

Paul was a Pharisee of Pharisees well educated and could work miracles,

Paul set all that aside ministering to them, He didn't want his delivery to overshadow the message. " Christ and him crucified "

so he determined that they know nothing of him!! Because wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: comes in the demonstration of the spirit and power!! NOT IN MANS WISDOM.

1 Corinthians 2:4-5. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

Paul wanted their faith to be grounded in the Power of God rather than elegance reasoning and world wisdom.

    I hope that helps.

    God bless.

Dear Nicole, if I understand right you are a Christian and have voluntarily chosen to live in the residence of satanist, is that correct? If following Christ is important to you then why would you live there? Why wouldn't you leave immediately (now)?

Sin is so evil, deadly, and destructive to you that Jesus said in Matthew 5:30 its better to cut off your own arm than to let it cause you to sin. In other words do absolutely anything and everything possible to avoid sin (and avoid going to hell). Do you think following Jesus's words are important?

You have chosen to put yourself in the most vulnerable position one could possibly imagine then are blindly staying there, even though you've already had your faith under attack. If you're not the one influencing the satanist then you can be absolutely assured you are the one being converted and you are the one losing. You're on his turf and seem to be totally unprepared without your 'armor of God' and you put yourselves there in the first place, which is unimagineable. I don't know what you're thinking. Maybe you don't realize what is at stake- our choices have eternal consequences.

The Bible says many times to depart from evil, stay away from it. You have done the opposite. It's great that you are seeking advice here, but what do you expect someone to say- to live with a satanist?

    Psalm 37:27-29

    Psalm 34:14

    Mark 9:43

    God bless...

I greet you in the name of Christ! My brother Chris, I enjoyed your post, and wanted to continue the dialogue. Christ is the Light of the World ( John 8:12; 9:5), and it is by Him and through Him that everything in the universe was created

from a foundation of light ( John 1:3; Col. 1:16-17; Heb. 1:2). God glories in His creation, for it attests to His greatness and excellency! It is His created child; and He would never give birth to a deformed child of darkness as described in Genesis 1:2. Such would be viewed as a microcosm of the rest of His creation, and detract from the breathtaking and incomprehensible beauty of creative mind.

In a similar vein, I would be interested in hearing your views on John's statement that Christ was "slain from the foundation of the world" ( Rev. 13:8b), and the statement Christ makes that He is "the beginning of the creation of God" ( Rev. 3:14d). God bless you!

I could not help but read about the URIM & the Thummim which was just a type of the Holy Spirit THE LIVING word that gives us light. We are not under the levitical Priesthood, We are now under the Melchezedec Priesthood .If perfection came under the Levitical Priesthood what was the need for a New Covenant, A NEW PRIESTHOOD, Behold the lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the WORLD .And our high Priest now lives with in us 24/7. NOT ONCE A YEAR,

Abide in me and i in you. Now the 12 stones ( the Urim and Thummim were symbolic of the 12 tribes ) But now the world are the 12 tribes .The Israel of God As God so loved the WORLD etc . If i be lifted up ( THE BLOOD ) I will draw ALL MEN UNTO ME th world . The field is the world where that good seed will be sown ,Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to Every creature. Jew and gentile a like . Jesus died for everybody JEW AND GENTILE . In Adam we all died but in Christ we will ALL LIVE.

Satan tempts to sin and then, if we succumb, uses our failure to cloud our minds, wound our hearts and break our wills. We must remember that we matter not to him. His attack is on our Redeemer and Friend, the LORD Jesus.

But, the cross turned out, not to be Satan's great victory, but his full and final defeat. In the same way, his relentless attacks on Christ's Church are, in the in the all-wise providence of the Almighty, a primary means by which we are fitted for Heaven.

As surely as the LORD Jesus rose from the grave, the Holy Spirit of The Holy God will give us the victory so that we may, at last, be presented "faultless before the throne of His Glory."

Knowing this, we must not surrender to despair but fly to Jesus whose infinite love will never reject his bride.

Hello Manuel. As far as a dictionary definition is concerned, 'righteousness' is the quality of being morally right or justifiable. However, when it comes to its use in the Bible, we see another type of Righteousness.

On the one hand a person who does not have God is his life or in his thoughts, can deem himself righteous (morally right by his own or society's standards) based on his understanding & calculations. And if he is sincere, his conscience would be appeased by his 'high' moral & ethical behaviour. But not before God!

If we look at Righteousness in the Bible (& there are many references), we can just take one verse out of it: e.g. Philippians 3:9: "And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith". In this verse, Righteousness is the same word in Greek for whether it is generated by man or God. The Apostle Paul is saying that he, once upon a time, deemed himself a righteous person based on his obedience to the Law. No doubt, he was a 'good' person & strived hard to please God. But, he says, God was not pleased with him. Because there was another Righteousness that was far higher & more purer than what he could muster up.

So when we read of God's Righteousness in Christians or that which we should strive for, then we see that it's not some goodness from ourselves, but what God has done through His Son for us - i.e. it is God Who makes us righteous (a Divine Work & a Divine Approval). By the virtue of Jesus' Death for us, we are declared righteous when we come in faith: our hearts & consciences have been cleansed from sin & accusations, & we now have a right standing before God. However, we must walk in that righteousness ( 1 Timothy 6:11) & if we should stray, we don't lose our standing before God, but can expect the Father's Hand of guidance or correction so that we begin to behave as His children & live according to our high calling.

I have a small story and a question that I need help with. My husband and I are currently living with a friend for the time being. I was brought up non denominational Christian and always have had strong faith in our Father God and our perfect savior Jesus. Our friend that we are currently living with is a hard core Satanist, and this bothers me a lot. He always makes fun of me for loving Jesus, and ever since I've been around him I noticed that Satan has been trying to tempt me by getting into my thoughts and trying to make me go down his path. Whenever I pray he tries to break it up by putting his name in place of God's and it's been driving me crazy. Usually he leaves me alone, what can I do to ward him off and leave me in the peace?
