Hi Roger. If you're asking the meaning of "sound mind", as in 2 Timothy 1:7, then I would understand it as what God, by His Spirit, gives to His children. In the Greek rendering, a "sound mind" means 'self-control, self-discipline'. And its usage could extend to being sober-minded; being a person of prudence & discretion.

And the Apostle Paul gave this word as a reminder to young Timothy as he fulfilled his ministry: a life of power (to bear up in trials or persecutions); a life of love (of pure devotion to God, to the Church & to the unsaved about him); and a life of soundness of mind (self-disciplined, soaked in prudence & discretion in his dealings with the flock & with all men).

Linda : The Father, Son ,and the Holy Spirit are three distinct beings, yet they are still one. You cannot have one without having all three.

For our Lord is the only Great God Amen.

I looked at Genesis 9:1 also, & the same Hebrew word is applied there, so really it is a matter of how one chooses to apply that word to those three references in Genesis given, whether "to fill up" or "to replenish"/refill. And when I read your understanding of Genesis 1:1-3, I still cannot discern a previous creation of humans being implied, nor that there was light created in verse 1. I'm not saying that those things are impossibilities, but I don't see it in the normal reading & understanding of that Scripture. Are you learning this information from other sources?

And as far as the meaning & use of the Urim & Thummim goes, again, I can't assimilate them with God's pure Light & utter Perfection. God bless.

A good start is to read Romans, so you can understand what Jesus Christ have done for us all. And after that if you still dont know how to forgive you self, read Hebrew. In Jesus you are heeled, from all wound ill pray.

You haven't noticed who's who, which lends credence that you don't know the prophets, or what they saw, or what they're saying. Your prophetic scope is limited, nothing more than Biblical malpractice, especially when I correct most every post you create with hard facts. It's as if you don't realize the catastrophe inching our way, like the prophets wrote hyperbole.

Ezekiel 38:1-17 and Revelation 17/18 are analogous with each other, they describe the same event from a different angle. There's more matching verses: "the day of the Lord": Is 13, Is 17, Is 21:1-9, Is 24, Is 47, Ez 21:1-24, Ez 38:1-17, Jeremiah 50/51, Joel 2:1-11, Rev 17 & Luke 21:20-24 (Israel's fall). Do you see that all the prophets discuss the SAME EVENT, the fall of Babylon? The beast, Russia/China+ will mortally attack America the whore to smithereens. The battle is over in under 1 hour.

Let's say America survives the sixth trumpet abomination of desolation, that means when Christ returns at the seventh trumpet, He will destroy US, Russia and China. Do you see how dumb that scenario is? Babylon must fall at the sixth trumpet.

There is only 1 beast and 1 Babylon, and you don't know them. How can you know the order that is unfolding to be so void. The knowledge is obviously hidden from you. You can't even see Russia and China getting tough with threats. Russia's arsenal makes Putin bold.

Who they are, the beast and Babylon, through their descriptions. Who are these 2 powerful nations? I know you have a difficult time with it, but America is a treacherous dealer. The only problem with what you are saying is that all end time prophecy is centered around the nation of Israel, and in the book of Revelation, Babylon is cryptic for Rome. Anytime someone associates America with end time prophecy, it is going to be way off!

Luke 21:25-26 (KJV)

25 And there shall be SIGNS in the SUN, and in the MOON, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the SEA and the waves roaring;

Comment: Sea is waters- waters are peoples, and nations, and multitudes of all tongues, mainly Gentile peoples. The waves refers to the movements of all kind among the peoples, nations, multitudes, be them religious, or politics, or economics, social, or even militaries.

Signs in the SUN and in the MOON, Scriptures refer to the event of Revelation 9 about the movement of the angel of the abyss: Rev.9:1-2

1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a STAR fall from heaven unto the earth: and to HIM(to the STAR) was given the key of the bottomless PIT.

2 And he(the STAR)opened the bottomless pit(the abyss); and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the SUN and the AIR were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. Well, if the SUN was darkened the MOON will not give its light of course.

Peter explains:3:v.7-The heavens (the first two heavens) and the earth(Israel carnal),which are now, by the same Word are kept in store, reserved unto FIRE against this Day of Judgment and perdition of ungodly men. (GOD will send strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:2Th.2:v.14

What happens if you badly misinterpret what Jesus is saying, and even though you knew His words well, you couldn't discern them. Most everything you believed and told others was false. God is sore upset with His people, and will destroy them whole. The enemy is within you.

Jesus is lord, may he guide my path so I can preach his gospel to the whole world so all can see his goodness and wonder.

America's enemies are coming out, saying what you've done to others, we'll do unto you, and to the double. America will have no rest for the devices forecasted against it round about.

In Ezekiel 38 God destroys Israel; in Revelation, God destroys Mystery Babylon; both describe America's defeat. The stink has stopped the noses of those in heaven. God stands against America, and the sword is furbished for the slaughter. American's are going to be surprised when they get a taste of their own fire and brimstone. Lovers of America can't see how treacherous they are, so reap the whirlwind you supporters of chaos and lawlessness.

When you realize your precious America is Mystery Babylon, you'll have to come to terms with its inevitable destruction; Revelation 18 is America's fate. The world despises you.

John 2:9-10 would indicate that these men were drunk. The phrase in verse 10 "men have well drunk" means they were intoxicated. In other words, they bring out the good wine first, and then after everybody has been drinking for a few days, because the marriage feast could go for several days, if they should run out of the good wine, they would bring out the cheap stuff and nobody knows the difference because they are pretty well intoxicated by then.

But the question comes up a lot if this is fermented wine that he's talking about here? The word for wine always indicated the fruit from the vine. The custom in those days, because of the bad water, was to drink wine that was diluted with water. Sometimes it's as much as nine parts water to one part wine just to bring down the alcohol level. Their alcohol level in those days was much lower that what we have today. It's not the same as the wine that is sold today.

Some people ask the question, "Why did Jesus create wine so that people can get drunk?" Well, it doesn't say that He did. But they did say that it was the best wine that they had, the proof of the miracle!

THE SEALED BOOK OR THE SECRET GOD'S BOOK

The sealed book was with God the Father, written within and without and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woes as was seen by the prophet Ezekiel. Check it in Ezekiel 2:v.10

What the Most High GOD had planned to happen in the Lord's Day was still hidden, but it was written in a sealed or secret book whose content did reveal all things to happen in this last Day, i.e in this last millennium that is the millennium of Christ, even the end of the time. So, the content of the book would happen in the seventh and last Day exclusively. By the way, the sealed book would be the last of the Bible, the book of Apocalypse.

THE GREAT HEAVENLY CEREMONY BEGINS - AND GOD DELIVERS THE SEALED BOOK TO JESUS - JESUS WAS SEATED ON HIS THRONE

The heavenly environment in the Great Heavenly Ceremony only is possible to describe by the own Word of God, as is written i Revelation 4:v.3 to 11:

COME UP HITHER;

3 (See) ...there was a rainbow round about the Throne, in sight like unto an emerald. Rainbow is a refraction of the Light in the waters present in the atmosphere. The material things are figures of material things. The parables of our LORD Jesus is a good example.

There was a rainbow round abour the Trone of GOD. Why? Well, it is because GOD is Light, and waters are peoples, and nations, and multitudes of all tongues. The Light of GOD reflects upon His people and appears in the heavenly place in Christ where we are in the current time as is written in Ephesus 1:v.3, and Phimlippians 3:v.20-21, among others references. PLEASE pray for my friend named Marie!! She had a head injury about a month and a half ago, and her head has slowly gotten worse. She's been in the hospital for the past few days, and her doctors aren't sure if she'll survive! I'm very sure that she's accepted Jesus as her savior, but I'm not positive. Please pray that God will lead her to accept Jesus as her savior if she hasn't already, and that He will heal her head and spare her life!!!!! And please pray for GREAT comfort for Marie!!

Revelation 4 - The Great and Wonderful Heavenly Cerimony

A comment about the Throne of God and the Great Celestial Ceremony to deliver the sealed book with seven seals to JESUS, and the opening of them. My concern with all readers is the manifestation of God's Truth. There is a very interesting detail about the sealed book:If nobody could even look at the book, how could any open the scroll and break its seven seals?

Well, the ascension of JESUS into heaven -the third heaven -happened after the ending of the 4th Day and beginning of the fifth Day, or around year 33AD. What did happen really after the ascension of JESUS to the heaven (the 3rd heaven), exactly in the beginning of the fifth Day?

ASCENSION OF JESUS-A RESERVED PLACE HAD BEEN PREPARED FOR HIM TO SIT-A THRONE WAS SET IN HEAVEN

Getting to the heaven, First He -JESUS- sit down at the right hand of the Father. The Father had prepared a Great Ceremony in Heaven. God's work had not finished here, God the Father had yet two more days of work to complete His works of six days.DETAIL:JESUS came in the end of the fourth Day, or around two thousand years ago, and He had said here:My Father works hitherto, I also work- John 5:v.17.Now, or, in the current time, time of Apocalypse, we can say God finished His works of six days, and has just entered in His rest as He had planned since the beginning.

GOD'S PLAN WAS TO DELIVER A SECRET BOOK SEALED WITH SEVEN SEALS TO JESUS-A GREAT HEAVENLY CEREMONY WAS PREPARED FOR THIS WONDERFUL EVENT

Revelation chap.4 is a description of the opening of the Great Ceremony in Heaven,actually the third Heaven, and the chap. 4 also describes the things that had inside the celestial environment, including the sealed book or secret God's book, and a multitude was there in the Great Heavenly Ceremony, that is the heavenly environment of the third heaven, which is also the heavenly environment of the Kingdom of God or of the next world- Luke 20:35-36.Check it out
