    First Peter 3:15; "be ready also to give an answer" = Here, the word "answer" translates from the Greek noun root (transliterated "apologia"; pronounced "apo-log-EE-ah"), and from which, derives the English noun "apology."

    This term originates the Christian Theological field of "Apologetics" of which a person, described as an "apologetic", defends True, Biblical Christianity with truths and proofs, which usually involve definitive and convincing arguments used to refute contradictions against it.

    Compare the word "answer" to its synonymous expression "earnestly contend for the Faith which was once delivered unto the saints" (Jude v.3).

    When using the same definition above, the Greek root "apologia" also translates into either "answer" or "defense" in the following references:

    Luke 12:11-12;

    Luke 21:14-15;

    Acts 22:1ff;

    Acts 24:10ff;

    Acts 25:8 & 16;

    Acts 26:1-2ff;

    Philippians 7 & 17;

    Second Timothy 4:15-16.

    America's enemies are coming after it, saying what you've done to others, we'll do unto you, and to the double. America will have no rest for the devices forecasted against it round about. Ezekiel 38 God destroys Israel; in Revelation, God destroys Mystery Babylon; both describe America's destruction. The corruption has stopped the noses of those in heaven. God stands against America, the sword is furbished for the slaughter. If you can't picture it, think of Fallujah x a trillion. American's are going to be surprised when they get a taste of their own fire and brimstone. You lovers of America can't see how treacherous you are, so reap the whirlwind you supporters of chaos and lawlessness.

    When you realize precious America is Mystery Babylon, you'll have to come to terms with its inevitable destruction; Revelation 18 is America's fate. The world world despises you.

    PLEASE pray that the LORD GOD will speak to me/have me spoken to right now/today, EXACTLY as He did twice before in the past. This is the ONLY way whereby I may KNOW that any answer is of the One LORD GOD-the Lord Jesus Christ's Father!

    Please ask the Lord Jesus Christ's Father to tell me, now, the exact address to move to now. I MUST "come out from them" that have familiar spirits and perform divination, necromancy, witchcraft, magic, sorcery, and that are observers of time, NOW, because they will NOT allow me to communicate with employers or ANY landlords outside of Satan's family. My prayers, alone have not been good enough, so I ask you all and your churches, and any other brethren to agree with me right now in prayer, just as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego prayed Daniel's request and the LORD GOD gave the "two or more gathered in His name" "the desires of [their] heart," in Daniel 2:17-19.

    I also ask that you brethren make the request known unto GOD, that He take away all of the ability & power that the evil and the wicked and the unjust have over my ability to communicate with others--whether online or off--because for YEARS--in order to keep in abuse (physical & non-physical), they have controlled who I may and may not call, receive calls from, email & be emailed from, and have withheld my USA postal system mail, in addition to erasing nearly completed, online applications from jobs. When I made custom orders for a job, they'd have people come in during my shift to have work done that they NEVER came back to pay for--costing my company $,& causing anger against me in the eyes of my bosses and coworkers.Often these people would come in right before closing, angering my coworkers and GM because I had customers in my section that were keeping the store from closing on time.

    The deadline to apply to 2 jobs with a company I've longed to work for, are coming up in 2-3 days! I CANNOT apply until GOD deliver me from them--they ALWAYS sabotage me,PRAY!

    Sacha,

    I agree. Context is always important. For myself, when I study a book in the bible, I like to know who wrote it, when it was written, and why it was written (The purpose of the letter).

    Greetings in the Name of Christ! You are perfectly correct. Every human being is born spiritually dead, in that he is disconnected from God because of an inherent sin nature ( 1 Cor. 15:22). God is the only source of life. Therefore, one is considered to be unplugged from God and spiritually dead until he is born again and plugged in ( John 17:3). He is then quickened and made alive. Jesus used a personal pronoun "their" when describing the dead because, until one is born again, he is merely a product a procreation, and belongs to the current world system. God bless and take care.

    Greetings in the name of JESUS, Our celebrated King! Your observations in your reply to Darrell were astute. I ask that you consider the possibility that life was, indeed, upon the earth prior to the re-creation which began in Genesis 1:3. The first creation, which is mentioned in Genesis 1:1, was filled with God's pure light and utter perfection (the Urim and Thummim - Exod. 28:30). God is the quintessence of light and perfection. Therefore, everything He creates must reflect His level of creative beauty and flawlessness, for it comes from His being of utter perfection. However, in Genesis 1:2 all light and perfection have been removed from the once perfect creation, and only three elements remain. They are darkness, a voided earth without form, and evidence of a Noahic-type deluge which probably reflects God's judgment.

    The word "replenish" in Genesis 1:28 and "fill" in Genesis 1:22 are translated from the same Hebrew word. However, scripture always verifies itself. Therefore, one must look to another verse usage for contextual clarification. God also told Noah to "replenish the earth" ( Gen. 9:1), and it is very obvious He meant for Noah's family to reproduce for the purpose of repopulating the earth because the prior inhabitants had been destroyed by the flood. Adam and Eve were given the same command to "replenish" because, with a high degree of probability, God's judgment in the form of a flood had also been passed upon the earth and its inhabitants.

    As correctly pointed out by one of the responders to your post, the word "replenish" in Genesis 1:28 and "fill" in Genesis 1:22 are translated from the same Hebrew word. However, scripture always verifies itself. Therefore, one must look to another verse usage for contextual clarification. Revelation 5:v.8-10KJV

    8 And when he -the Lamb- had taken the book, the four beasts -living beings- and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.

    9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

    10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests:and we shall reign on the earth.- GOD's KINGDOM - Luke 20:35-36 and Revelation 11:v.15 to 18

    24 ELDERS

    Here goes the 24 elders showed in Revelation 4:v.4

    Fermented or unfermented, that is the question! Everything God has created is good! The question should be, how much will you drink? Anything that separates us from his love, is not good! His love is constant, share it with all your heart and soul!

    Interestingly we are concerning ourselves with the same subject! Perhaps by coincidence, I think not! In the last days the spirit will be more prominent, will have more free course in time! Many who are in the spirit will know these things. Be instant in and out of season, a true workman in the word! Congratulations! The Holy Spirit is within you! Pray without ceasing , all your ways acknowledge Him!

    I love this chapter in Romans! Like the Book of James, this is very much a chapter of "where the rubber meets the road". As Christians, we are called to a life of obedience and holiness. We, being filled with the Holy Spirit, seek to bring honor and glory to our risen Savior, who gave his life for us! We love him because he first loved us and it is never grievous to do his will!

    To everyone that is born again! 1 Timothy 2:8 (I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.) God is good, his mercy endureth forever! Romans 5:8

    (But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.)

    1 John 2:1

    (My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:)

    1 Thessalonians 4:17

    (Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.) Any time we need an uplifting, we should always go to the Word of God, that is where we will find peace, comfort, and the answer to everything that is important. Prayers for all.

    Comments by Alex about where the Kingdom of God will be, Its simply gonna be with in us as Jesus said not here nor there but within you, Hebrews 12 : 22 You are come unto mount Zion that City of the living God , That HEAVENLY JERUSALEM . To a hugh host of angels etc .Thus New Jerusalem has to be the kingdom of God WITH IN US. Which is the H.G. Christ in you the hope of Glory. The good seed is the WORD/SEED of the King . Thus we will birth our King via a seed thats y he always refered to himself as the Son of Man, MANKIND is gona bring forth fruit unto God via that good seed the Word of the Kingdom. As we have borne the image of the earthy we must also bear the image of the Heavenly via that good seed . Being Born again of an incorruptible seed etc even by the WORD of God. Unless ya receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child you will in NO WISE ENTER THERE IN ( A LIL CHILD IMPLIES A BIRTH VIA HIS SEED THE WORD OF THE KINGDOM ) Even in the natural a bride and her BRIDEGROOM are made one. , Husbands love your wives as Christ loved the Church and gave his life for it . She brought forth a manchild ( our good fruit unto God ) which is the H.G. that spirit of truth that is gonna rule ALL NATIONS . We are gonna have a BABY Christ the son of man that Child of Promise th H.G. He is gona tell us heavenly things .

    I appreciate this comment very much. God Bless you David! The more I walk with the Lord, I am aware of the daily deepening of the work of the Holy Spirit in all the hidden places of self in me. I choose the fire now rather than the fire then, he fire of the cleansing Spirit. I am being given to see the secret of the beauty of God's will. The term "God's will" used to be such a heavy hammer to me. I was still filled with love of the world and the love of self. Lately, the Spirit is driving home to me, the "heaviness" IS the world spirit, the heaviness IS sin, and death and deception, and the glorious brightness and freedom is GOD'S WILL, through Christ and him crucified... What a grand reversal is taking place on earth!!! and in each of our souls who turn to Jesus. Praise God, for the unspeakable grace of a simple day today loving and doing His will.

    Acknowledge whatever you've done, ask God to forgive you, and repent--remember, remorse is not enough. Repentance means never committing that sin again. It may not be easy to stay away from it, so ask God to condition the need out of you. if you do, ask forgiveness again determine not to do it again. When you ask God to forgive your sin, He covers it in the Blood of Christ, and you are free from it. It's the devil who puts the guilt of those sins in you. Say to him, "In the name of Jesus Christ, get behind me, satan!" Cast all your cares upon the Lord, for he cares for you. God bless you!

    Again ,with regard to context , please consider why God gave the law to Moses . The children of Israel had been slaves for hundreds of years in Egypt ,they lived under Egyptian laws , a lot of which were based around Egyptian idolatry ,the Israelites were under total subjection by their masters ,probably classed as not much better than cattle ,they had no rights . When God brought them into caanan they were going to be in charge of themselves , it can take many years of trial and error to create any kind of government , God saved the Israelites the stress of having to think about how they should govern themselves , He gave them a good and fair system with Him at the head of them , He told them how they might be good to themselves and each other and be acceptable to Him and He set before them His blessings for their compliance . Any one who didn't like it was free to leave . Context is important , the Bible is talking about real humans , they lived , like we do , in a physical world like we have to for now .
  • Sacha - In Reply - 4 years ago
    Thank you Jesse , we need to remember that all scripture is very helpful to us all but it doesn't always apply to us as it sometimes only applies to those who heard the words at the time they were given ,I know people who genuinely believe that women should have babies because God told Adam and Eve to do so , context is very important , every scripture is precious to us but we must try to keep it in context .

    Hello Veronica. You asked, "why is it that those who are unsaved, enjoy sinning against the Lord so much?".

    You've shared some great thoughts & Scriptures there & indeed "the lust of the flesh, & the lust of the eyes & the pride of life" ( 1 John 2:16), is the standard for the majority, instead of doing "justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God" ( Micah 6:8).

    As Jesus spoke to the religious leaders, "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do", it is only natural that those without the God of Heaven will cleave to the god of this world ( 2 Corinthians 4:4) who holds the hearts of men in his grip. As Satan's singular desire was to "ascend above the heights of the clouds (and to) be like the most High" ( Isaiah 14:14), so it is also found in his children that they too would behave like gods believing that no God exists, bar themselves.

    One can only imagine that if societal laws didn't exist (however weak & often mis-applied they might be) & without the presence of Christ's Church & the outworking of the Holy Spirit through her, what would be the extent of man's lusts & wickedness & how unrestrained his sins would be, that would speedily bring about another Noahic-type deluge. Yet God's next judgement will be by fire ( 2 Peter 3:7) as His Anger can no longer be withheld. May the life-changing, spirit-renewing Gospel continue to go out, pulling many out of the fiery deceptions & snares of the Devil ( Jude 23). Keep that holy fire burning, Sister.

    Hi Rodney, you may be thinking of Matthew 24:29,30, where Jesus was speaking about what would take place in the heavens (the universe & sky) after the Great Tribulation period & prior to His coming again to reign on Earth.

    We can hardly imagine what the inhabitants on Earth (i.e. those still remaining on Earth after going through the Great Tribulation) would be experiencing mentally, emotionally & physically. That they stand looking up observing the sun & moon lose their light & the stars disappear - that is, a total constant darkness. And in that blackness of sky & Earth, the Lord of Glory appears in all His Glory & brilliant Light, with trumpet sound. In truth, many will experience heart attacks ( Luke 21:26) as great fear & horror envelopes them. But for those who have put their trust in Christ, His Return with the departed saints, will be their joy full & overflowing, ushering a period of a thousand years of peace & Christ's righteous rule.
