Thanks and God bless.
Please pray for me! I try not to judge but its so hard when people just walk all over your kindness. I work in a prison and its constant battle trying to stay Christ like
The fans are distributed to the elderly and those who can't afford high energy prices. It's a group effort and everyone pitches in.
I'm going to praise God right now for the cool late spring we've had in Texas, and the blessing of rain!! Praise God!!!!
In the book of Job, we see that God oversees the stores of snow, ice and rain. With the greatest child-like faith, remember the poor in our bedtime prayers every night. Not remembering God for the many blessings he has given to us, is a little arrogant (my thought).
I'm just gonna say it: it was pure crowd rage and violent demonstrations from 22+ and up, kids that were United by Facebook and Twitter that elected a man that dictates: satisfying the save the planet rant; so behind the scenes aid to Israel is being cut off. Money is being given to the Palestinians so they can get more rockets to fire on Israel.
YOU WILL experience the correction of God in the Books of Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28.
When we bless Israel, God blessed our nation in prosperity and plenty. The curses on America will be seen every day, on tv and youtube, of incredible drought, water loss, less land to be farmed (sold to the Chinese) Higher Prices at the grocery and all restaurants and internet foods.
What are we going to do about old people without A/C ... and no food? Food distribution lines may go away. I'm not a one-legged dog barking at squirrels. The Bible actually says foreigners will come into our nation and take our food, our goods. China owns 1+ million acres of USA farmland. Your delinquent 20+ kids will eat up your food and demand money.
Read slowly, those 2 Books I mentioned.
The drought will end when we Repent As A Nation. Scripture does not lie. Consider this a: thus saith the Lord.
Bless Israel, is my advise.

Paul refers to Titus helping him before:
2 Corinthians 12:18 and with him sent a "brother" who may have been Lucas.
2 Corinthians 2:13
2 Corinthians 7:6
The rich man was the only one who had a funeral. There was no funeral for the poor beggar (Lazarus). What they used to do with the poor people in those days is take them over to the Valley of Henom which was right outside the city of Jerusalem. It was basically the garbage dump. People would throw their garbage over into the Valley of Henom which was constantly burning. And they would take the bodies of the poor people and just throw them over. There was no burial for the poor because they couldn't afford it. So the beggar died, was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom, and the rich man also died and was buried.
There are places in scripture that make it seem as though the two words (made/created) are interchangeable. Having very little knowledge of Hebrew, I did a little bit of reading and there are two different Hebrew words used. For create, it is the word BARA. And for made, the Hebrew word is ASAH. I can't share much on these words due to very little knowledge of the Hebrew language. But I can share with you what I was taught over the years. In Genesis chapter 1, we are told that God created the heavens and the earth. We are also told that God made man.
What I have learned to be the difference between the two words is that when God created the heavens and the earth, He did so from out of nothing. In other words, He simply spoke things into existence. But when God made man, He formed man out of the dust of the ground, something that already was in existence. Maybe this is a lame answer but hopefully someone can share more on those two words from a Hebrew perspective which would better answer your question.
Revelation 6:11And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as theywere, should be fulfilled.
Revelation 20:3And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
God just desires we set aside the 7th day to spend with Him. Ideally at Church with other believers in a corporate gathering, so we can worship, pray for the sick and those with needs.
Some churches operate every day of the week in different capacities and ministries to the community around them. Sabbath means, Rest.
(from Hebrew shavat, "TO REST") is observed In Abrahamic religions, the Sabbath (/sb/) or Shabbat (Hebrew: ) is a day set aside for rest and worship.
If you are required to work on Sundays:
>>>The case does not say that Christians have no legal protection against having to work on Sundays. They have the same rights as any other religious group not to be discriminated against.
The Tribunal itself said in an opening paragraph:
"It is [not open to an employer] to require staff to work on Sunday and thereby cause disadvantage to those who are Christian "unless the employer can show the requirement is objectively justified." Just ask if your schedule can be changed, to be off on Sundays. Don't hire on and then demand a different schedule, if None is available. You'll lose legally if you push it.
God is way more flexible than people. He just wants us to rest in his love and spend time with Him (Bible). Attending Church is how we learn and grow up in Christ. However, if we do not practice "Family Altar Time with our children, and replace God with football games; they will not follow God willingly."
It's different for each individual. We are not under the Law; but under Grace. The 7th day after your work week started, is your Sabbath day. Google churches in your area and their meeting schedules. If you have split work schedules, you may have to accommodate to church meeting times.
It's to our advantage to attend Church when the church meets Corporately. If your family needs much prayer, for these crazy days we're living.
our Father knowing it... I believe I will meet my Bridey when I pass on, my beloved collie,
and Otto, the most amazing cat in the world.
The Sabbath is a day of rest.
Reading your comment it seems you already know that. You have liberty
So go on and rest!!
Romans 14:4-5. Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. LET EVERY MAN BE FULLY PERSUADED IN HIS OWN MIND.
Colossians 2:14-17. Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
God bless.
It's been a while since I've read Job so thank you so much for bringing that book to my attention. Job is a perfect example of what I was referring to about wisdom being gained through trials. You may know of a time where someone praised the Lord when things in their life were going well or right after they have experienced something good? But what about when hardship came? We don't see much praise when they are experiencing hardship.
The Lord allowed Job to be tested by Satan. Job lost everything. But his trust in the Lord remained strong. That's wisdom. That's trusting the Lord. That's what wisdom is referring to in James chapter 1. In verse 2, James says that we are to count it all joy when we fall into various trials. But why should I count it joy when I'm going through a difficult time?
Verse 3 answers it for me. It says, "Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience." The Greek text literally reads "that your trial of the faith is working out endurance." The word "your" in the Greek text goes with the word trial, not the word faith. What he's telling them is that we are to live by faith and not trust in our circumstances or our feelings. We are to do this by remaining under our circumstances and trust in the Lord.
We experience two things by this. We experience Christ Himself. He sustains us. Secondly, we learn about His ways so that we can share with others what He has done in our lives during difficult times while we placed our trust in Him. That's wisdom.
Concerning understanding, I would agree with you. We should approach scripture in prayer asking the Lord to open our hearts and minds to understand what it is He wants to teach us. But wisdom comes through trials, and those trials are how we learn to trust the Lord. Again, thank you for using Job as an example of someone going through extreme hardship, and what it means to remain under (HUPOMENO) our circumstances and fully trust God to work those things out in our lives.
I would like to know what is the difference between God "made" and God "created". in the book of Genesis.
Just thinking aloud:
"To make" could mean; to shape and give it form and function
"To created" could mean; to make it appear, to create something, like an artwork, it doesn't need to have a function or a purpose.
I would like more clarity on these two words,
Are the words different in the original language and or do they mean the same and why are there two words used?
Thank you so much.
I believe they simply no longer exist.
I'm sure someone is going to hate. e saying that, However it would be nice to see that much energy saving man who's made in God's Image.
I hear some say they can't wait until the Lord comes back and destroy the world and send all the non believers to Hell. And then scream Hallelujah!!
Maybe someone else can elaborate further.
God bless.
Thanks alot, It fits the totality of scripture,
Sometimes we make the mistake and isolate a verse from the previous verses as if it's been a subject change. but when you put it back in the context of the previous verses it does harmonize with the volume of scripture as it should.
Amen.
God bless.
I know his spirit and soul were in Paradise, but it puzzles me why no burial of his body is mentioned? Thank you
