Mr. long saw his hard, long struggle to have it published as the devil coming against this endeavor but satan was dancing in his shoes. he loved it. mr long didnt see that it was actually god trying to stop him, just like he told the children of israel to stop ignoring him as they went into apostacy. another way the devil has accomplished this is to tempt people into being so busy with life that they run out of time, energy and a desire to spend time in actual study. the church needs to get back to a love of the bible just like the man in psalm 1 where he studied his bible everyday with delight. also, there are so many versions out there, that new christians are asking men (not god) to tell them which bible they should read and study. the internet is swamped with videos of people asking which bible they should use, trusting perfect strangers to guide them in their choice. this explains why so many christians, according to surveys done, don't even believe the bible is inspired by god anymore. i'd like to find a church that uses the kjb only, worships on the sabbath, teaches true bibical doctrine and isn't affiliated with a denomination. hopefully, as the end times draw near, all of god's true church will be set apart and maybe even be persecuted for doing those very things.

i've done a brief study of the nkjv and niv modern versions as to what they have printed and what is in the kjb. i realize i am preaching to the chior, but i thought it would be interesting.

The kjb has been accepted and handed down for centuries as the trusted, holy ghost inspired word of god; god's bible. there are over 200 modern versions (not translations) of the bible in english today. the authors of the modern bible versions such as niv, nkjb, asv, esv, etc. have flooded the market with "their" versions of god's word. why are all these versions out there? the devil knew he couldn't get christians to stop being true to god's word by a frontal attack so he slipped in by the backdoor. just like in the story of baalam and the children of israel in the book of numbers. the devil is very devious. these new versions have been said, by the publishers, that they are the same as the ancient text just in a more manageable format without ancient words, grammar and spelling, but you will see in the few comparisons i have listed below that is far from the truth.

    first a brief history lesson.

in the early 1950's a man named howard long was a christian businessman who would witness to his customers often, with no hesitation, but unfortunately his pride was stronger in him then humility and it not only led to his fall, but also the corrupted version of god's word in the niv. mr long was embarrased when one of his customers, instead of responding to the gospel as he was use to, laughed himself silly at the "ancient" language of the kjb. unfortunately, instead of defending the word of god, mr. long was embarrased and there after was determined to put the kjb in modern language "so it sounded more morden and people could understand it better." it seemed mr. long didn't go to god and seek guidance but instead he went to the honored authorities of his day and told them what he wanted to do. they resisted for many years until mr. long was successfully able to convince them that what he wanted was of god therefore by 1975 the niv was published.

    Brothers in Christ

GOD is in control of history, nothing random happens. The material things are figure of spiritual things.Example:Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answers to Jerusalem which now is,and is in bondage with her children-Gal.4:25.

In ancient time men said:Go to,let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven;and let us make us a name ...That said,as I have posted in prior posts, when men built the WTC,the Twin Towers, the tallest Towers among the 7,both were the main towers that were built, the others were secundary. But why?

    By allegory,number 7(7 towers),signified the 7 regions of the Planet:Europe,Asia,Africa,Oceania(Australia),North America, Central America,South America,by the way,the 7 heads of the Dragon and of the Beast-Rev.12:3-4 &13:1.

In 2001,the USA was the single largest economy on the planet, followed by the European Union, mankind had just entered a new millennium, from the 6th to the 7th and last millennium, actually at the turn of a new Day.

Speaking materially the built of the WTC signified nothing more than two large and gigantic buildings, something like the Tower of Babel. But analysing deeply,by allegory, the BUILD and FALL of the Twin Towers,we the believers cannot ignore a great mystery, that is, the two towers of the WTC represented the most TWO POWERFUL ECONOMIES of the EARTH, i.e.the Economies of USA and EU.

The fall of the Twin Towers signified that both Economies would FALL in ruin day after day, since the fall of both Towers, and in future days, according prophecy, upon the earth will be distress of nations(of the whole earth),with perplexity;Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after the things which are coming on the earth. And this generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

Two terrible impacts by two planes destroyed the WTC Twin Towers, and now two WARS, one in Ukraine and other in Israel, are two terrible impacts for the destruction of this currente world of Devil

    Get ready

Shalom Brother in Truth, all praises go to The Only Begotten Son because without Him and His mercy I wouldn't even be on this website. All Glory goes to The Most Highest Power, The Holy Trinity (The Father, The Son/Word and The Holy Ghost).

1 Thessalonians 5v18 is right family, thank you (giving thanks) I wasn't aware of this verse as well. I tend to highlight verses/scriptures that truly hold value to my day to day walk. So, I am giving thanks to The Highest for you sharing that highlight with me.

In Hebrews 4v12, "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." speaks nothing but facts. So, all of the bible is alive and active and also inspired by The Most Highest Power as it explains that in 2 Timothy 3v16; "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" Regardless of those individuals that tempered with the Holy words of our Father. He still is so majestic that He is ahead of that lol. God is mind blowing family. Keep up the great work, it is all about seeking Jesus Christ of Nazareth, fearing the Most Highest, and giving our whole hearts to The Holy Trinity. Every day we must have a sincere heart to heart with The Holy Trinity and even within that Jesus is helping us keep that relationship up. Like it says in Hebrews 7v25; "Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them."

The God we serve is beautiful family. Let us continue to strive to protect our salvation and also Him. Glory to The God of Abraham and Praises to The Lord of Lords Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Peace, Love and Blessings within and without Family.

    Greetings in Christ JESUS

    Brothers in Christ

We know that GOD CURSED the Earth because disobedience of man,and warned him, saying:"Thorns and thistles shall it bring forth to thee;...in sorrow shall you eat of it all the days of thy life;In the sweat of thy face shall you eat bread, till you return unto the ground;out of it wast you taken:for dust you art,and unto dust shall you return.

As above described, the terrible picture after GOD cursed the Earth, what our GOD meant by His words or even revealed when He said of the existence of the world of Devil full of"Thorns and thistles"? Well, with the proliferation of human beings after Earth had been CURSED by Him,nations would emerge or be formed on Earth, and would be like"thorns and thistles".GOD said: Numbers 33:52-55

55If ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you;then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.

52Ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places:

53And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein:for I have given you the land to possess it.

    Joshua 23:11-16

11Take good heed therefore unto yourselves, that ye love the Lord your GOD.

13Know that the Lord GOD will no more drive out any of these nations from before you;but they shall be snares and traps unto you,and scourges in your sides, and THORNS in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land which the Lord your GOD hath given you.

    Rev.11:15&12:12

15The kingdoms OF THIS WORLD are become the Kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; He shall reign for ever and ever.

12Therefore rejoice,ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them.Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea!for the Devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has but a short time.

    ( Proverbs 30:5-6)

    ( Rev 22:18-19)

( Jer 23:36) perverted is #2015; it means "to change".

( Ps 12:6-7) 6) "The words of the LORD are pure words" pure is #2889; it means unadulterated, uncontaminated, sound.

    7) "Thou shalt keep them O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever". preserve is #5341, it means to guard, to protect, maintain, obey.

( John 14:23-24) "If a man love me, he will ((keep my words)) and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him".

This verse is telling us if we don't keep His words the Father and Jesus will not come unto us and abode with us.

Many on this site do not keep His words.

His words are pure words preserved for ever in the King James Bible, ((FOR EVER))

They are not preserved only in the manuscripts, ( 2 Tim 2:15) tells us "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth". We are told to study, and rightly divide the word of truth.

Can we study and rightly divide the Hebrew and Greek manuscripts today? No we can not!

His words are pure ( Proverbs 30:5) His words are Alive ( Heb 4:12) His words are Inspired ( 2 Tim 3:16) which is God breathed ( 2 Pet 1:19-21) His words are sound doctrine, His words are not perverted.

Modern versions are perverted words of men ( Jer 23:36) they have all "changed" the words of the living God!

It is very important to see this Truth, modern versions are doctrines of devils ( 1 Tim 4:1)

Modern versions are not sound doctrine ( 2 Tim 4:3-4)

I pray this is helpful to any who trust modern version bibles.

    Blessings!

    Hello Khumiso,

Good thoughts about what is happening in our society today. God is good and He only proscribes commandments that are good in themselves and good for us. Desiring and endeavoring to live a godly life is what He desires of those of us who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. There is always inherent benefit to us for obeying God. Obedience does not save us, but it keeps us living in His will which always bring spiritual benefit because it is obeying as Jesus obeyed His Father. God blesses us when we act like His Son.

So, yes, God's rules bring positive social order to our cultures when followed. They "civilize" sinful humanity, but they do not save anyone. Only faith in Jesus brings salvation from sin and condemnation. When societies on the whole live according to God's moral standards, the society prospers and shows forth the glory of God. When a society degrades themselves with disobedience and wantonness, pursuing the pleasures of "whoredom" as you say, the society suffers much as it decays from this societal rebellion against what God has told us to do for our good. He withdraws His blessing and protection from societies that forsake Him and run after sinful living.

Those of us who believe in our Lord, Jesus Christ, will be strengthened by the Holy Spirit to refuse to live like those who refuse to believe in and follow Jesus and His commands. We become more and more like Christ in what we think, say, and do. We will live holy and godly lives amidst a wicked and perverse generation and therefore we will stand out from the rest of society because of this. Our lives will testify to unbelievers the glory and righteousness of the gospel and to the glory and praise of God. Unbelievers will either be drawn to Christ by our life witness of Him or will harden their hearts even more so against Him. For some, our godly lifestyle will cause them to ask us for the reason for the hope with us, Jesus Christ and therefore open the door to proclaim the gospel.

    Hello Scott4Him,

There are a few places in Acts that speak of the whole household being baptized. it doesn't explicitly exclude babies and children. For those who adhere to infant baptism, it is seen as entering into a covenant with God an His community of faith-filled believers. Infant baptism is seen as bringing upon an infant the saving work of God in Christ as parents obey the command of Jesus to baptize ALL nations and instruct these who are baptized in the life of faith in Jesus. Those who practice infant baptism recognized that all are born dead to God and need to be made alive in Christ, which they believe happens through baptism of infants and children because their parents' consent to obey this command of Christ. These believe that the Holy Spirit implants faith in the infant or child in baptism, whereas before they had not faith to believe. They believe in such baptism all the work is done by God in the infant or child. He gives the faith, He gives the forgiveness of sins with the washing of His Word (the gospel) spoken over the child. Denominations that practice infant baptism besides Catholicism are Orthodox, Lutheran, Presbyterian, Episcopalian/Anglican, and perhaps others.

Others, who do not embrace infant baptism, allow for children to be baptized upon an open confession of faith in Christ by the child. Some have an age limit, others do not because Jesus said that we are not to hinder children from coming unto him.

    Mark 10:14; Luke 18:16; Acts 2:3; , Acts 16:15; Acts 16:33 Acts 22:16

Others only allow what is called "believer's baptism" where one must believe the gospel in order to be baptized. Jesus says in Mark 16:16 to believe and be baptized. See also: Acts 2:41; Acts 16:18:8

I think that there is Biblical merit to all of these teachings about Baptism. Each person must pray for the Holy Spirit to lead them as to whether or not their children should be baptized when very young.

    Dear Nick34

I sure wish that you were not having such troubles. Mental illness is so difficult to cope with and it is hard for others to understand that it isn't a matter of getting up enough will-power to rise above it. I am glad you are being treated so that your brain and mind can be helped to act more normally.

As to doing everything the Bible tells us to do, no one can do that but Jesus. The "Law" of the Bible shows us that we are sinful and fail to obey God every day in some way. The Holy Spirit uses it to convict us of our sin and drive us to God seeking forgiveness and grant us repentance. We will struggle with the sinful nature we always possess in this life and we do strive to live a life of obedience, but none of us can keep the WHOLE Law al the time. That is why we need a Savior. The Law points us to our need for salvation and the New Testament gospel points us to Jesus, who alone brings us forgiveness and reconciliation with God even in our sinful state. This is because we are not reconciled to God on account of our own righteousness, but on account of Jesus' perfect righteousness that is given to us when we come to Him in faith in Him.

Nick I would love to pray for you.

Dear Heavenly Father, today we come to You in faith, by the blood of Jesus and by His word that You will answer the prayers of those who are in Jesus. We lift up Nick before you and ask that you speak a word of healing over him and restoration of his mind to soundness. We ask that You take back what the enemy has robbed Nick of over the years and bless Nick with saneness and a removal of the damaging thought processes that lead him into wrong thinking. We ask that You stop the voices from coming into his mind with only the Holy Spirit's voice remaining. We ask that You will reassure Nick of Your great love for him and that You save completely those who come to You in faith in Jesus, our Lord. Father, we all need You and with Nick we ask that You help us to follow what You ask.

Political Will against the will of God

"And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh." (Dan.7:5)

The three ribs as in the case of the one taken from Adam refers to doctrines. In the creation of of Eve, the Spirit informs us "and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead" and the rib 'he made a woman' (Ge.2:21). This is not the case with the three. These are set between the teeth of the second beast and when they bawl,"Arise, devour much flesh' it is clear there is nothing in them to gain by the beast whether it satisfies its appetite or not. These are like the serpent who put the suggestion of eating the fruit forbidden to the man and woman. The serpent creates a context for the bear like beast to devour much flesh.' Was it said with benevolent motives? Oh no. The three ribs are three political principles and in arousing the beast devour they do not gain single advantage other than use the beast to serve the purposes of Satan, or Lucifer.

Satan challenged, " I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High." (Is.14:12-14) "I will" is a political principle as a challenge to the will of God. State, Religion and Reason as history has amply proved 'devour much flesh' not because of any intrinsic need but these serve the interests of Satan. His motto is: "I will," so Papacy set the earth as the centre of universe. Whosoever challenged it are burnt at stake. State similarly said 'I will' and the reign of terror following it shed blood through the streets of France. Reason invented Guillotine. The same Reason also serves as the basket collecting carcases of human institutions, each built up on its skewed world view.

Hello SLLockhart. I believe the verse that is closest to what you seek is in Revelation 22:18,19. Although, these verses specifically relate to this particular book of prophecy (The Revelation) that no one might add or take away from the words of the Book or else suffer under God's Hand, the Truth would apply to all of Scripture. And 2 Timothy 3:16 reminds us that these Holy Scriptures are "given by (the) inspiration of God", or as in the Greek, "God-breathed"; which clearly shows us that the power & truth of God's Words are given by His Spirit - 'breathed' upon those writers, they being moved by Him to pen these words for all who read or hear them. This then becomes a very serious matter in the reading, understanding, & correctly 'dividing' of God's Word, without forcing any human input which can only bring corruption to it.

Tonight I am thinking of some words of Jesus in Luke 21.

We have in our yard both the Olive and Fig tree. The Olive is high up on our hill and the Fig is lower down by our home. The Olive with further work can produce an oil and edible fruit, The Fig own its own can produce fruit. In the last days Jesus says, will be a

"distress of nations, with perplexity." part of verse 25.

Nations are like trees some high on the hill and some low and close to home.

Jesus in Luke 21 describes the times and how it will be near the end of the times.

The Olive tree is not mentioned in these times but Jesus gives the parable mentioning the Fig tree and the other trees beginning in verse 29.

We are advised to be looking up in times of perplexity for His return. Otherwise we may fear. What we may see in these last times are the Fig tree and other trees thriving close to our home instead of the Olive tree.

So we walk in conversation together, in love and in concern.

    Hi Nick34.

    I hope all is well.

Nick34 I thought it would be necessary to note something concerning your statement "not being able to do the things the Bible says to do.

What ever that may be, just understand that you are not alone.

This wretchedness you have within you when you feel you are not doing as you should is the Holyspirit.

The Holyspirit brings conviction upon a believer and that is a good thing!

Only God children wants to please him. He prunes us.

Even though we may never be perfect in our service and walk in this lifetime but we try everyday.

We will have this conviction all our lives because we want to please him and the Spirit causes us to love the things he loves. Because we have his spirit in us.

Listen to Paul in Philippians 3:12-14

"Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

And now listen to him here in Romans 7:24-25. he says

"O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

We don't do this for salvation, we do it because of his lordship over our lives. It's his spirit that aligns us up with his will.

We should thank him for such conviction because it is he that works in us as we're clothed in his righteousness.

    God bless you.

"whoredom" is now glamourised and painted as empowerment or some form of feminism. I used to ask myself why God had so many rules for everything and at some point I thought they were harsh.

but taking a step back and looking around at what's happening to our generation, it makes sense why he has so many rules. out of these rules come out honesty, harmony, peace and most importantly ORDER. Gods order brings to life and when disturbed it destroys everything in its path

take a look around at our world, everything is getting destroyed but as Gods children we'll get through it through Jesus Christ who strengthens us
