The last paragraph that the individual wrote does not refute the spiritual content of The Most High testament about his people.Tell the public when the jew-ish people were enslaved and bloodline tainted by other nations? They read from the Babylonian Talmud and yet they overcome their exile. They are lenders not borrowers...and they turned white....! According to the Biblical narrative, they are not supposed to be in Ysrael until Christ return to put them there...and not to mention they don't believe in him.

Being free in a country that has no walls, even around its own house!

How can these things be? How is it possible for even my neighbor to love me! How is it possible for the evil one too have power over me? Now comes my Holy Spirit! This spirit of freedom found in and under the shed blood of Christ!

Outside, is this one who spins and weaves a web of deceit and guile, who only wishes to cast your body and soul into Hell? evil

While the children are yet to find a way, the way of the yoke that is light and easy.

Oh, how they struggle, and are ready to blame someone else for their own sin!

Finding no freedom ,only more fear of imprisonment of a soul that is lost because of a heart and mind that will not listen! The end with body and soul cast only into hell!

Grab hold of Him ,while you can. The time is quickly passing, take hold of the savior today, while it is called today!

Be free indeed, in the Christ the Savior of the world!

Mrs joanne peters, upon receiving the Holy Ghost, some speak in tongues of gibberish that only God hears. Others receive the Holy Ghost and do the Lord's work, preaching and healing. Of the two, works is the greater gift.

    1 Corinthians 14

How would a deaf mute speak in tongues?

Hi Donna, 1 Corinthians 1:17-29 shows the Apostle Paul's understanding of wisdom & foolishness as seen in the preaching of the Gospel. He first declares that his preaching was not given by using the "wisdom of words" (v17), even as he referred to it in 1 Corinthians 2:1-5. That is, his preaching used none of the oratory skills & flowery language of those false teachers who came into the Corinthian Church thereby enticing them into error using such language. Paul's speech was simple, direct & proclaimed Jesus Christ & His Cross in all its worth & fullness.

Then in verse 18, Paul writes about the "foolishness" of the Gospel to the World. What we consider as both precious & powerful, the World thinks of the Gospel as stupidity (both nonsensical & irrelevant). But to "us which are saved", or more correctly, "to us who are being saved, it is the Power of God". What we too might have thought of being irrelevant suddenly becomes a wonderful Truth, a Glorious Liberty & a Powerhouse to live life to the fullest for the Lord.

And then in verse 21, Paul writes about the "foolishness of preaching". As the Jews seek after signs & miracles; as the Greeks seek after human wisdom, philosopy & oratory skills - then where does the work of preaching fit in amongst that lot? Even though the apostles' simple preaching seemed weak & mundane in comparison, God had chosen that in such simplicity (foolishness), His Word would go out & hearts would be changed by the Gospel & not by emotion-charged rhetoric & acts.

So to answer your question about verse 20, "the World's wisdom that God calls foolishness": it is anything that emanates from man's knowledge or from his power of reason that dares to nullify God's Wisdom in providing Himself a Solution for mankind's incurable disease called, Sin. Even with his powers of speech, perceived understanding of all things & reasoning powers, man ever remains unable to deal with sin, to which only God can & that through the "foolishness of preaching".

This is 2 end the discussion on Jeremiah chapter 17 verse 9, even though the Bible speaks of man heart being evil there are some solution ?, one is found in proverbs 3: five - seven; Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not on unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. There are more compelling scriptures and testimonies about how 2 overcome the evil that the bible speaks in a man's heart with the teachings of Jesus and God's guidance, love, Mercy, and patient will get us through to the end, it's all in his holy word.

When I was coming up, about 8, the 1st Bible story I heard was about the 2 witnesses. Our church leader would read the description of these 2, and since one could turn the waters to blood it was deducted that this witness was Moses, for he turned the Nile to blood. Then the 2nd witness was said to close the sky so it wouldn't rain. It was determined that this witness was Elijah, for he did stop the rain in his time. So we all were glad that we could identify Moses and Elijah as the 2 witnesses.

Looking back, I can see the errors made in determining theses 2 witnesses, but that's how you learn. The depth of review over the years has gleaned truth of the witnesses. Even though Moses and Elijah are not them, they sure fit my view at the time, not knowing any better. When you think you're wise, the Lord makes you eat grass like an oxen. Learning the Bible is a never ending process.

    Hi brother Jesse.

John 13:36-37. Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards.

Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake.

" Something we know Peter couldn't do.

Peter couldn't Agape the Lord the way he thought he could, "

And in the English it's not obvious but in

John 21:15 he basically admits it using phileo to answer the Lord.

"Yea, Lord thou knowest that I love thee "

not Agape as the Lord asked.

So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, YEA, LORD; THOU KNOWEST THAT I LOVE THEE. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

The 3rd time the Lord asked he also used phileo, Instead of Agape and Peter wept.

What Peter couldn't do in John 13:36-37,

( Follow the Lord to his death )

The Lord tells him it's what he's "GOING" to do in John 21:18-19.

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.

This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, FOLLOW ME.

Once filled with the Holy Spirit Peter preached the Gospel boldly knowing his fate was death.

It's amazing what we can do when the Spirit of God is in you.

You can know the scripture and walk alongside Christ but without the Holyspirit baptism WHEN YOU TRULY BELIEVE. it means nothing.

Matthew 7:22-23. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

    AGAPE YOUR BRETHREN.

    HERE BY WE KNOW!!

    God bless.

    Pastor Godwin

Visions are for one who can open the ears of hearing. Not the ears on the side of our head but the ears of our conscience (heart). "If any man have ears to hear, let him hear". When we do not open our heart with no preconceived ideas, thoughts, or answers we have decided on our own, we are closed to visions, we quench the Spirit.

We become like the house of Israel was when the Messiah was standing in front of them. "their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart"

A vision may not be some future thing, it may be a vision to change a part of our life, or our eyes opened to a deception that is being taught, our eyes opened to the true meaning of a scripture. The power of vision is our humbled heart open to the Spirit of truth and our willingness to follow the truth regardless of the price.

Let's pray that our God is a merciful God who will destroy the evil spirits that plague us, and give every one that ever lived forgiveness and everlasting life. God commissioned the devil to trip man up, to prove us. It is God's love that saves mankind from itself, and I can't see God destroying any of his mortal creations.

    Amen Jesse!

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

    John 14:3-6.

Thank you Rosetta for those very valuable & pertinent comments. I also see a similar situation: there were some followers of Jesus (at Ephesus) who were, can I say, 'caught in the middle'. They only knew of & received John's baptism (of declaring their sin & repentance), & they also knew of Jesus, but had never been taught any further nor received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

So, to bring them to the full Truth & incorporation into the Body of Christ, they were then baptized, not according to John's baptism, but to Jesus' baptism, which was not merely identification of their sinful state, but releasing their sin on the One Who was able to bear it, forgive them, & make them new by the indwelling Spirit. Something John's baptism was never designed to do. So yes, the baptism 'formulae' can't be based on this verse ( Acts 19:5), as it only showed that they were now baptized in Jesus' Name & not to John, according to the meaning of John's baptism.

    Hi Deborah.

No, He was a man full of the Holy Ghost

    as seen here in acts.

Acts 6:5. And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, ( A MAN FULL OF FAITH AND OF THE HOLY GHOST, ) and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:

There's nowhere in scripture where angels are filled with the Holy Spirit.

Maybe that notion is drawn from this verse.

Acts 6:15. And all that sat in the council, looking stedfastly on him, saw his face as it had been the face of an angel..

They saw his face AS IT HAD BEEN THE FACE OF AN ANGEL.

    God bless
