Yes, it will be "tight on Judgement Day" or when God calls us Home; that's why the road to Heaven is indeed narrow & the gate small ( Matthew 7:14) because many prefer to refuse God's offer, counting their load of sin as preferable than releasing it all upon Christ. Or those who try to force their way in, relying on their accumulated load of good deeds as necessary as well. And then it will be too late to make amends.

So any work you can do must be post-Salvation & not the reason for it. And that means, God's Spirit will lead you to work & witness in His Own Way. Pray about the matter - ask God to use your life, your hands, your mind in some way that will bless another. There are a myriad of ways that God chooses to use His children, whether in the Church or in the World & often the work may go unnoticed - but not by God.

Hello Norman. As I read your question & comments, Ephesians 2:8-10 came to mind. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."

I know that you are well aware of that Scripture, as we've come to know you from your other comments in the past. So if I may expand on that passage in line with your question.

The very basis of our acceptance by God as His children is because of His Grace that He has showered upon us, giving us faith to believe in His Salvation. This is the Gift of God: not just salvation or just faith, but the whole deal: His Grace + His Faith to believe + His Salvation. I believe, from what you've written in the past, that you not only know this but are in possession of it. There are many people & some sadly, occupying Church pews, who know about this salvation but are not in possession of it: they know ABOUT Christ but have not received faith to believe IN HIM. And this salvation, indeed God's Grace & Faith as well, is given to all who have been drawn by God ( John 6:44) with the Holy Spirit's ministry of conviction of sin ( John 16:8), resulting in repentance & being born again ( Acts 2:38; John 3:3). That is God's requirement for sinners to be accepted & the person who has been so led & then dealt with by the Lord, has been truly saved by Him. There is no work that we can ever perform that will give our salvation an extra guarantee - if that were so, then salvation is no longer of Grace & Faith, but of our efforts.

Carl, you are correct Jesus' ministry was 42 months and there are 42 months in Revelation but the ones in Revelation have nothing to do with the 70-week prophecy given to Daniel.

If I understand you correctly, the abomination of desolations spoken of by Daniel in Matthew 24 and Mark 13 is what you tie the last half of the 70th week to the antichrist and the 42 months?

Many may disagree but, the abomination of desolation has nothing to do with the beast in Revelation. If you read Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21, what Jesus told four of the Apostles on the Mount of Olives. First, we must understand at this time none of the Apostles even knew Jesus was going to die, they thought Jesus was going to set up the kingdom then. Even after He resurrected, they did not believe He had been killed.

Some of this discourse was about the destruction of the temple and Jerusalem and some about Jesus second coming. If you study history of this time, you will see there were earthquakes, wars, famine, pestilence and more. All through the New Testament people was starving and they were selling and donating for those in Jerusalem that were without, many died.

Why would people today have to pray their flight not be on a Sabbath? In the time of the destruction of the temple the gates of Jerusalem would have been locked on the Sabbath, they couldn't get out. The temple and Jerusalem in 70 AD was totally wiped away, the people in Jerusalem turned to cannibalism during this siege of Rome, it was the worst horror Jerusalem had ever faced.

No believers in Christ died, they fled to the city Pella before the destruction. Many put Revelation 12 with the casting down of Satan long ago but Satan still has access to heaven because he accuses daily. When Satan is cast down to earth in Rev. 12 it is permanent they rejoice in heaven. Satan then gives his power seat and authority to the beast ( Revelation 13:1-5).

Among other things, I am a philosopher thinker, I've read through the Bible a hundred times, even a thousand times for the books I love. I devote time to know God's plan, and God is showing me that mine is a personal mission. Fact is, I could be in the order of a saint, and post the future I've seen, and that message would not be headed due to bias or preconceived notions. Then again, how can I blame you for not understanding what you don't know? The Holy Spirit doesn't readily open up ears and minds for it did, we would have more in common.

The real solution isn't Scripture read as a remedy, but how to share and understand each other from what we know. I call it: 'confusion of Biblical tongues that collide and divide'. How does someone change their views when their hearts are hardwired to false doctrine? Arranging and posting opinions has honed my Biblical skills considerably, made my Spirit clearer.

COMMENT: The Lord's Prayer is our best example! Matthew 6. This is how we ask God for what we need. The angels are sent by God. They obey God; and we are to ask God for angelic assistance.

Last but not least, Ephesians 6. The spirit world is invisible, but can manifest in various ways. This is why we are to be growing our faith on SCRIPTURE (not Hollywood).

I walk along and I hear his voice. He puts his arm around my back as we walk along! He is calming, the voice most would only dream to hear! He comforts me and assures me I am not alone! He says only a little while longer, and you will be with me in paradise!

I hear Him say go forward now and confess me to all I bring you too! Show them who I am ! Let them see the power of the holy spirit! Be not afraid, they have no power then that what I give them! Carry on my faithful servant, and know I am with you.

Brother Earl, thank you for your reply. I have studied prophecy; I still have many unanswered questions; some may never be revealed. Studying prophecy, we can become overwhelmed and become like a dog chasing its tail and loose our purpose. We have to be honest, some things in the future we will not know until it happens, but we can test and study the theories that are taught and let the Holy Spirit teach us the truth and uncover deception. We need to take Jesus' word to heart "Take heed that no man deceive you"

Carry, spend some time in Psalms getting into King David's head, a little. Maybe even Solomon.

David had major children problems. He ran from Saul for years. Then Jonathan, his brother in spirit, was killed the same day Saul was. Much more events that would make anyone despair of life.

David kept his eyes on God. His core faith, got him through. It can be your strength also. In the midst of sorrow, he sang these psalms to God.

Jesus is that true light, and it is he who causes the innocence of every young child when it comes into the world. Little children do not start out hitting each other. They do that because the see someone do it, or it is done to them by an older kid or something. It is learned behavior.

Everytime they learn a new evil, that light gets a little dimmer. By the time they become accountable for sin, there may be little or no light left. At this point, the person isn't "coming into the world", he (or she) is already IN the world.

This is why we must become as humble as a little child and be born again -- to fill us with light again by the receiving of the Holy Ghost which is the Spirit of Christ without whom we "are none of his." Again, at this point we aren't "coming into the world". We are IN the world but leaving it and "coming into" the kingdom of God.

We need to be prayerful about how we speak about ourselves, to us; or about other people. There are things such as spoken curses. The Bible says that we are held accountable for every idle word that comes out of our mouth. I guess our angels record that stuff? I consciously made myself pause before I let something fly that was not acceptable.

Praying the right things along with a Bible scripture; is a very powerful prayer in a life giving way. Proverbs is a great book to glean good thoughts.

We have to have good scriptures memorized (the ones we love most), so when Satan gangs up on us with warfare; the righteous thoughts pop up automatically.

Like: I am the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus;

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (including moving this 200 lb box)

There is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ.

My favorite for lonely: I am my Beloveds, and My Beloved is MINE.

EDIFY. This is what gets us over a rough patch.

The kingdom of God isn't about going to heaven. The good news gospel is that Christ is going to conform you into the LIKENESS OF HIMSELF. It starts by first hearing the truth and then by the working of Christ Spirit in you causing you to believe the truth. There is nothing you have to do. He will give you his faith to believe; because you don't have any. He will give you his righteousness; because you have none. Everything he has he will give you; Just ASK him to do it. He died so he can give you all this. He needs a body to live in, you are that body. He will make sure his new abode is cleansed and pure. Just set sit still and BEHOLD the SALVATION of GOD. And when the end of your days in the flesh come he will GLORIFY you with a new body. The more you study his word the more you will understand this. Keep coming to this site and asking question; their are GREAT TEACHERS HERE.

Please help me pray for my brother "Tom". He is currently in the PIC unit in Bend, OR. He is fighting for his life with Covid-Pnemonia. Tom was placed on the highest level of oxygen they can do in the PIC unit. Next step would be ICU intubated. We believe in God's word and his healing power.

Please pray the Lord will heal him soon. Tom has been in the hospital since last Tuesday, May 22, 2021 and today is Wednesday, June 02. 2021.

I agree that the 70 weeks of Daniel is a prophecy of his coming in the flesh to die and be crucified; and not his second coming when all the dead are raised.

I don't believe in a GENERAL rapture of the church. I perceive this is you belief also.

Since; I perceive, you have studied Daniel at length, do you also study the other prophets and Revelation.

With so many fools out there, rational Christians are out numbered by the vile. The goal of a philosopher is to plan for his death. I look forward to God stomping out the devil that's us to smithereens. Give everyone a new heart and mind of Christ, and stop this madness. If the next world is anything like this one, leave me dead.

THE CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS:

To those who love the appearing of Christ, who anxiously wait and look forward to the day when He will return for His saints. This crown is given to those who have lived a good and righteous life for God while living down here on earth. If you are a believer you have been made righteous before God the Father as a result of Jesus dying on the cross for all of our sins. This means that the righteousness of Jesus has now been imputed to you. It also refers to us living a goodand righteous life for God the Father with what time we have left down here. There are Christians who are righteous before God the Father as a result of being saved, called Justification, through the blood of Jesus Christ; but they are not living righteous lives in their actions, words and behaviours, called Sanctification. There are some people that may be saved in God's eyes, but still continue to do evil works that the unsaved would do. We all have our flaws, weaknesses, and certain temptations that we may struggle with. It is not perfection but DIRECTION that God is looking for.God just wants each one of us to choose to do the right thing when faced with certain temptations or choices to do something bad. When it is all said and done, these Christians will probably be receiving some of the greatest rewards that God can hand out once they enter into heaven. It says in the Bible,"Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:8 To live a righteous life for God will really be worth your while as you will definitely be given this crown by God Himself once you enter into heaven.

Understand the last chapters of the Book of DANIEL

Well that's more like it. Too bad you are not factoring in Jesus' segment of 42 months of power. Even though we don't agree on the roll-out of the last week, we are at least in the same ballpark. The last week is prophesy is separated in two 42 month segments.

1st half of the week = Jesus' 42 month ministry, then Messiah is cut off in the midst of the week

2nd half of the week = antichrist's 42 months begins with the abomination of desolation placed in both houses of modern day Israel.

I keep seeing that not many people will get into Heaven. Just what does that mean? What if you are a believer but have never did any work for the church? I just wonder how tight it will be on judgment day? I am not a bad person and I believe in God that he created this world we live in and that Jesus walked the earth and died for our sins so am I going to miss out somehow? I believe in God, angels, that God can allow supernatural things to happen, that God can answer our prayers, and that limited power is given to the devil.

However, I believe the world is currently under a strong delusion: 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12.

I think people are in love with lies. I think it's fun, excites them, they feel in control, empowered, and love making their own narrative and reality, which justifies scores points for their 'side'. We see this in the media today just spewing 100% false information. We see 'fact checkers' which are like Nazi propagandists just confirming what they want people to believe, instead of telling the truth.

So, I do not believe UFOs are alien spaceships. The most prominent UFO shown in the media was just a bug on the lens. You can even see its legs as it walked back and forth! But people are so focused on wanting it to be a spaceship that that's what they saw. I met someone who believed in ghost orbs floating in the air and he said there's no other possible explanation. But you can actually recreate the exact thing by taking a dusty carpet and puffing it up so dust is seen close to the lens and poof... instant orbs. It happened everytime the AC came on and he just couldn't fathom any other explanation. We also have 'scientists' claiming that a bug evolved into a giraffe then a hippo then some other stuff then a person, despite no evidence. Then an artist one day drew a bunch of stuff connecting the dots and people believed it. You could do the same with a smartcar which shares the same material as a Tesla and claim that it must have evolved, and wasn't created.

As your post gives me opportunity to post my view of the "ufo" thing. As the level of "ufo" stuff has been rising in the media in the past couple years. Also recently. As in a couple weeks the government is to give some kind of speech or disclosure about their knowledge of "ufo" "ET" stuff.

I have been perceiving this for some time that some sort of "alien" deception will be used by the evil powers that run this world for their agenda.

As I'll try not to get too deep into this as I know not all my brothers and sisters agree with me on this. I myself don't believe in "ET" life or "aliens" from other "planets". I do believe in fallen angels and evil spirits or demons.

We will just have to be patient and vigilant in what is going on. There may be a very big deception coming that may cause people to question God and Jesus Christ. Even the pope has stated he believes in aliens or something. As he has lots of followers.

Whatever happens we must keep our faith and trust in Jesus Christ. No matter what comes about in the world/media. Deception in this world is huge.

Like I've stated also before I cannot be sure of a "Rapture". Though like you stated that is one of the possibilities of the "alien" deception. That if that(Rapture) is God's will that they will have an explanation/deception for the world.

Stay focused on the Lord and like you stated "look up".

Daniel 9:25-27, is used to create seven years of tribulation, and an antichrist at the end of days by taking the last week of the 70-week prophecy given to Daniel with the combination of verses in Matthew 24-25, Revelation, and parts of Paul's letters that create a most believable picture. If the 70th week has been fulfilled and not in the future, how does that change the picture that has been painted in our minds?

The pre, mid, or post rapture of the Church, an antichrist, 7-year tribulation, covenant with Israel, a third temple, abomination of desolation, 3 years after covenant, then 3 years great tribulation. The 70th week is the glue that holds this interpretation together and without it what do we have? If the last week being in the future is wrong, what other parts of this interpretation are wrong?

As Gabriel relayed from God to Daniel, the 70 weeks were determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city. House of Israel/ Jerusalem. This prophecy was for the first coming of Jesus, not the second coming. It tells the exact time He would first come, and the exact time He would be killed, the leaders of Jerusalem rejected it.

Prophecy, 490 years, 483 years until Jesus the Messiah first coming, + Jesus' ministry 3 years, His crucifixion in the middle of the last week + 3 years until the gospel was given to the Gentiles= 490 years 70 weeks.

Jesus is the he in 9:27 He confirmed the covenant with the house of Israel for 3 years, when Jesus was crucified, He cause the Levitical animal sacrifice and the oblation law to cease. The old covenant fulfilled.

You can find for the overspreading of abominations, He (Jesus) shall make it desolate, in ( Matthew 23:35-38). The other 3 years were confirmed by Jesus through the Apostles until Peter had his dream completing the confirming to the house of Israel ending the 70th week.

This fulfils the prophecy in:

The DAY OF THE LORD came when John the baptist began preaching the kingdom of God.

Matthew 27:54 Now when the centurion, and those that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the EARTHQUAKE and those things which were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.

Matthew 27:47 Now from the sixth hour there was DARKNESS over the land until the ninth hour.

John 19:34 ...and forthwith came there BLOOD and water.

Jesus was crucified when the sixth seal was opened.

This fulfils the prophecy in:

Daniel 12:11 And from the time the daily sacrifice shall be take away, and the abomination that makes desolate set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred ninety days.

Forty two months, three and a half years, time and times and a half. Jesus ministry in the flesh, ending in his death and resurrection. Then silence until forty five days latter and PENTECOST.

Daniel 12:12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the one thousand three hundred thirty days.

At Pentecost THE MYSTERY was revealed, the seal on Daniel's prophecy was opened: CHRIST IN YOU

As I'm sure you know "hell" is just the English word that took over four "places". Sheol in Hebrew and in Greek Hades, Gehenna, and Tartarus(used only once as the place where the angels that sinned are chained reserved unto judgement). Then of coarse the lake of fire where Hades is said to be cast.

My feelings of me being a judge to others in the end. In Christ. Right now I see it as this. If God wanted me to judge others the first thing I would do is ask God how He wanted me to judge. If it were God's Will for me to forgive everyone I most certainly would do that. Or righteous judgement. To me righteous judgement is not just pardoning or forgiving everyone. It would be weighing that persons heart, soul, intents, everything in life etc. Them making a righteous judgement on their life. As in the Old and New Testaments it is stated everyone shall be judged or recompensed according to our deeds in this life.

All in all Gods Will shall be done. Weather I understand it or not. Also as my full trust is in the Lord and I know anything is possible with God. As His ways, thoughts, intent and glory are so far above us I really don't see anyone knowing exactly what shall be. Keep our faith and full trust in Him with a pure heart and He will guide us in love.

As I like to always bring up that the most important thing is us staying focused on Him. They ways of Jesus Christ our Lord whom is our Savior to eternal life with the Father.

All praise and glory be to Jesus Christ our Lord which permeates straight to our Holy Father. We are noting without Him.

Like stated even though we may have different views on certain things. That's ok. You are still my brother in the Lord forever and are a very special member in the body of Christ. We are to love one another. The only thing I hate is sin or evil. Not the person who commits it as we are all able to be saved by the blood of Christ. As we were all on the wrong path at some point in our lives.
