Bill, if you're referring to Genesis 6:3, the 120 years written here isn't given to show a generation (of years) of mankind, but how many years God had given mankind in Noah's day to heed the warning & repent. Within 120 years the flood had arrived & sadly only eight souls were saved.

Faith is enough for salvation and here's why. There are two types of faith. There's human faith that every human being has. And then there's the faith that the Bible speaks of. A person that has biblical faith is a saved person.

The word faith (PEITHO) literally means persuasion. It is a word that describes the presence and activity of God's Spirit in a believers life.

So yes, a person who has faith (PEITHO) is a person who is saved.

Also, it is God's Spirit in a believers life that produces the works. It's not human works but the activity of God's Spirit that produces spiritual works in us and through us.

And even though belief is important, it alone does not save someone. A person must receive Christ and be born of His Spirit in order to be saved.

Yes this site gives a great opportunity to share the gospel, And there are some good churches out there. However there's no pleasure in saying there is a wide gate and there will be many in those churches and on this site that will be on that path, We should continue preaching the cross and stand firm on what we believe.

And if One agrees with you and don't accept Christ then he's still lost.

But if he accepts Christ the Holyspirit will reveal to him all he needs to Know.

God has everything planned. He is sovereign.

Note, Jesus, at that time, does not come to the earth, He meets His children, in the air, whilst satan and his mob are loosed, on the earth, and the tribulation has set in.

No man can comprehend GOD, but as our LORD reveals HIMSELF, and, that many cannot differentiate betwixt GOD, our Lord's Father, WHO indwelt Jesus, from the time of His baptism, and Jesus, the last Adam, the Spoken Word creation of GOD, through Whom GOD, manifested, in perfect, sinless flesh, to pay for sin, is a constant reality of Scripture since the Garden of Eden.

Jesus was born of God from the flesh of man. He never sinned. He lived on earth 33 years, in a restricted human capacity. He was resurrected into everlasting life as a God. He shed his earthly chains to sit at the right hand side of God. From caterpillar to butterfly, a human God is born.

As our Lord described them, those religious leaders, as being children of their father, the devil, what has changed? Jn.8:44

It is time for Christians to not get into 'church', cults, etc., but to get into HIM, and HE is the WORD, though, yes, we are instructed to fellowship with like minded people, to encourage, edify. build each other up on the FAITH once delivered to the saints, aren't we?

No, one is not denigrating the Gifts, but we far morein need the GIVER.

We are saved by FAITH, not works, lest any man boast.

Our identification with HIM, is by our believing, expressing, manifesting every WORD of GOD, for this day, no longer Pentecostal, Anglican, Roman Catholic, whatever, but Christians who are clearly instructed to be LIKE MINDED, in all things, to have the same revelation, of Jesus Christ, here, today, in His people, not trapped in 'religious' creeds and dogma, aren't we?

It is time for Christians to finally identify who THEY are, children of GOD, start manifesting HIS WILL, HIS WORD, instead of 'religious' fake dogma, isn't it?

The last paragraph is helpful, but you are still speaking a language I can't identify with. I need to understand the events I'm reading about before I can grasp the symbolism. You're speaking on the scholarly symbolic side, when I want to know your literal perspective of what happens on earth. Names and countries involved, predictions, or perhaps you haven't pondered who's who yet? The prophets saw end-time events first hand, they were 'taken in the spirit' and shown every aspect of Israel's destruction. Can you speak on how these end-time battles come about according to them? Any ideas you'd like to share?
