You will find God's 10 Commandments in your bible in Exodus chapter 20 verses 1-17.
You will find many, many references to these commandments throughout your bible in the old and new testaments.
Jesus and his apostles followed God's ten commandments. And Jesus said:
John 14:15
"If ye love me, keep my commandments."
Jesus also said:
John 15:10
"If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love."
You will find there are many people today, even on this web site that will minimize or disregard God's 10 Commandments.

I can't give you any behavioral advise, but I do have a comment on the subject. Every passage in the Bible regarding homosexuality always puts it in a foul light, even to infer that they are an aberration in need of repenting.
If God made a person that way, and by no fault of their own, why would God want to harm His creations? The Word of God is calling these people out, the people whom he himself cross-wired. Something seems awry for the regular homosexuals of the deal. Could God be speaking of people that are perverted, sexual gluttons, like the late residents of Sodom and Gomorrah? Could God's message have been tampered with, or lost in translation? Can anyone translate the texts in question? Thank you.
Leviticus 25:10: "And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile(e) unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family."
This whole chapter speaks about God's commandment to Israel concerning the Year of Jubilee. This was different to every seventh year that was a Sabbath of rest for the land - to refrain from planting & harvesting. The Year of Jubilee was seven Sabbaths of years (i.e. 49 years), at which time, on the fifteeth year, the proclamation would go out to that all slaves, those of Israel who were bonded to another as servants, matters of property sales, the state of the poor, etc., would find relief & be freed from their obligations. If the matter was about a person, they were set free to return to their homes. And all this was to remind Israel that they are bond-servants to God, were once in slavery in Egypt, but were freed from them by God's Hand & Power. Likewise, Israel ought to deal favourably with others as God dealt with them.
And 1 Kings 4:25 comes to mind: "And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beersheba, all the days of Solomon." Under King Solomon, Judah & Israel found peace so each person (family) were able to live securely in their own home (or, under his vine..under his fig tree).
However, if you're thinking of a New Testament verse, then if you could expand on the quote you gave.

Rob, what that says is probably true, but I think we should go back farther in time, to the methods they used after the 3rd century AD.
Who would have thought to discuss the end-time prophets during these end-times? Someone has to champion in prophesy dialog, so why not you. It's rarely discussed due to lack of depth. God prefers prophesy over tongues.
1 Corinthians 14:5
"I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying".

You shouldn't take it so hard when others let you down. It appears as though God hadn't yet provided brother John with the Biblical wherewithal to satisfy your desire for honest and equal reciprocation. Lord knows it's unpleasant to be a victim of intellectual malpractice, but treat it like water falling off a ducks back.
You'll have more days ahead to get your message across.
I have a hard time conceptualizing what you are saying about the end time battles. You seem sure of what you're saying, so kindly talk it back for me like you were describing the onset of WWII, or describing a football game with 4 quarters. Tell me in plain words about these battles. I do surmise that all the armies of the earth will be defeated at Christ's return.
It's complex and confusing, but I like learning about the Lord.

Not all of the Book of Daniel has been accomplished.
Daniel 12 (for starters)
3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and SEAL THE BOOK, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and KNOWLEDGE shall be increased.
8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed TILL THE TIME OF THE END.
10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but THE WISE shall understand.
11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.
Not only this, but Antichrist is clearly described in Daniel; and his campaign to take over nations. Knowledge is increasing. I do believe the 4 Horseman are here.
Now is a good time to read and discuss Prophesy.

Are you sure Psalm 8 isn't about God? Even though verse 4 directly says 'son of man', all the credit goes to God. Without God's love, Jesus would have lost favor to his brother, Jose.

And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Matthew Chapter 24 gives a pretty detailed explanation of Daniel's 70th week.
Seven Points about Prophecy:
1) All prophecies concerning the last days are based upon Daniel 9:24-27, which presents the 70th week of Daniel.
2) The 70th Week of Daniel is divided into four sections:
1) Pains of birth: first 3 years of the Tribulation.
2) Pivotal point: the mid-point of the Tribulation.
3) Perils of tribulation: the last 3 years of the Great Tribulation.
4) Promise of his coming: the Second Coming of Christ.
3) Matthew
Pains of birth: Matthew:24:4-14
Pivotal point: Verse 15
Perils of tribulation: Verses 16-28
Promise of his coming: Verses 29-31
4) End time prophecies are centered on the Jewish People.
5) Matthew took his outline of the 70th week of Daniel from Mark Chapter 13, and they both recorded the Olivet discourse.
6) The misunderstanding of the prophecies of the last days is based upon combining Luke's account with Matthew's and Mark's account as if they are the same message.
7) Luke's version includes some of the same information only given at a different time, and covers different stages of the 70th week of Daniel.
1. In Luke 21:5-6, Jesus was still in the Temple area
2. Luke 21:7 records different questions. When will these things be? What sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?
3. Luke covers the first part of the pains of birth in Luke 21:8-11
