Wives should not carry the entire responsibility for healthy discussions in a marriage. Resentment and disrespect should not be in his vocabulary ladies. 1 1 Peter 3:7 says honor the wife as the weaker vessel so your prayers be not hindered. The wife is the most important person on earth so speak to ladies as such because God is serious about the way men talk to women. God will not answer your prayers so think before you speak to a lady.

For any who are looking at theories on how it ends. There is a fantastic picture that has been painted and taught since the early 1800s and is taken from Daniel 9:27 to create the last week (7 years). The entire theory and all that is taught that will happen hinges on taking the last week/7 years from this 70-week prophecy.

This prophecy was determined on Daniel's people (house of Israel) and the holy city (Jerusalem).

Daniel 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

If Jesus fulfilled what was determined in this prophecy, does that make this entire theory and all that is taught in this theory untrue?

How will it change the picture if the 70th week in the book of Daniel has been fulfilled?

    What is our blessed hope?

We have been told to study, trust our teacher the Holy Spirit and pray.

These are the six things that were determined, and a few verses that may help your study.

    1. To finish the transgression ( Isaiah 53:5, 8) ( Isaiah 53:11) ( Hebrews 9:15-18)

    2. To make an end of sins ( Matthew 1:21) ( Hebrews 10:8-11) ( John 1:29) ( 1 Corinthians 15:3)

    ( 1 John 3:5) ( Psalm 32) ( Romans 8:3)

    3. To make reconciliation for iniquity ( Colossians 1:20-22) ( Isaiah 53:6) ( Isaiah 53:11) ( Ephesians 2:16) ( Titus 2:14) ( 2 Corinthians 5:18-19)

    4. To bring in everlasting righteousness ( Romans 5:17-21) ( Romans 3:21-26) ( 1Peter 2:24)

    ( 2 Corinthians 5:21) ( Isaiah 61:10-11)

    5. To seal up vision and prophecy ( Daniel 9:23) ( John 6:27) ( Mark 1:14-15) ( Acts 3:18)

    ( John 5:36-40) ( Matthew 11:11-15)

    6. To anoint the most holy ( Hebrews 8:1-12) ( Hebrews 9:6-14)

Elohim (rendered God ) plural form of Eloah ,Deity in multitudinous manifestation ,the word although pkural ,is often used with a singular verb ,indicating that although the Elohim may constitute a multitude ONE ETERNAL SPIRIT motivates them all ,thus revealing Deity in manifestation-e.g. psalm95v7 "He (Yahweh) is our Elohim (Mighty Ones) ," the angels were the "ministers of Yahweh" excelling in His strength psalm 103v20-22 ,"For Yahweh is a great El and a great King above all Elohim " psalm95v3 , Elohim comes from a word Alah ,to swear ,to bind oneself by an oath ,so ,although a multitude that no one can number ,the Elohim act as a single unit ,they are united together with each other and with Yahweh with ties that are indivisible .The word is translated as angels in psalm 8v5 and as judges in Exodus ch21v6 and ch22v8&9 and v28 ,the latter revealed Yahwehs law and judgements to the nation ,John ch10 v34-36

You are correct ,its really very simple ,get to know God and Jesus ,how do we get to know anyone ? By spending time with them ,even better if its just you and them , get to know God and Jesus really well by reading the Bible ,ALL of it ,again and again ,just like us the more time you spend listening to Them the more you get to know them ,when you feel you really truely know Jesus that famous cliche "what would Jesus do ? ' doesnt sound so dumb because you know him and straight away you know the answer ! Stop reading me and go and read your Bible !

    Did you know ?

Your understanding of who Jesus is almost everything.

Do you have it right ?

What did Peter say when Jesus asked him ? What says you ?

Do be aware there are many variations of who people think Jesus is . So study the bible and most important listen to Jesus . My sheep hear my voice ...

    Dear Brother Sebastian,

I pray that you are blessed on this Saturday/Sabbath Day!

We read and pray for understanding.

    John 16:10-16

10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; 11Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. 12I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. 13Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. 15All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. 16A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.

Brother John R Nolan, May CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

You are CORRECT the only sin that keeps us from BEING ONE with Christ is UNBELIEF.

Colossians 1:26 Even THE MYSTERY which hath been HID from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to the saints:

    Colossians 1:27 ..... THIS MYSTERY.....CHRIST IN US......

John 9:3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man SINNED, nor his parents: but that THE WORKS OF GOD should be manifest in him.

John 9:39 And Jesus said, For JUDGEMENT I am come into this world, that they which SEE NOT may SEE; and they which SEE might be MADE BLIND.

John 9:41 Jesus said unto them, If you were BLIND, you would HAVE NO SIN (unbelief): but now you say, WE SEE, therefore your SIN (unbelief) remaineth.

    Dear Sister Joyce,

I hope you are blessed on this Saturday/Sabbath Day!

There are many pastors out there, including TV pastors confusing many regarding "their interpretation" of the scriptures. My best advice: Don't believe anyone until you can read the scripture yourself, and pray for understanding.

Based on my reading of scripture we can strive to be sin free....and follow God's commandments. If/when we fail as we are not perfect, we can pray for forgiveness....and per Jesus he will forgive.....as He states in these scriptures:

    Matthew 18:21

"Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?"

    Matthew 18:22

"Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven."

If we pray for forgiveness Jesus will forgive us....

Read the scriptures yourself, pray for understanding and guidance from God's Holy Spirt......and believe!

    God Bless

Lori, if you type 'alien' & 'aliens' in the Search the Bible Box at the top left of the main page, you will see the references come up. I would say that in all cases, reference to aliens implies 'strangers or foreigners', & not to extra-terrestrial creatures.

When considering Hebrews 10:26,27 & its sister portion in Hebrews 6:4-6, we find that the same matter is being addressed. In both references, the warning of "sinning wilfully" & "falling away" are given. And these are mentioned because some of them were teetering into apostasy (i.e. turning from Christ back into Judaism). Just as Hebrews was for the teaching & guidance to the 'Messianic Jews", it was also a stern warning to the others.

So the "wilful sin" in Hebrews 10:26, wasn't a voluntary act of sin or being found living in such state, but one of apostasy. And as we read that passage through to verse 29, we note the writer's lesson: 'if those who sinned under Moses' Law were condemned to death without mercy, how much more will these others suffer who have trodden over God's Son, despising His Sacrifice, doing despite to the Spirit of Grace'. These were those who may have been converted, or appeared to be, but had determined in their hearts that Jesus' Sacrifice was insufficient or had little appeal in the light of the old Judaistic beliefs & teachings. To these, the writer says, that there remains "no more (no other) sacrifice for their sins" - the Law could never save them, nor can any other saviour. But "we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul" (v 39): there were still those who held onto Christ as their only Saviour & Hope.

So we can delight that even if we, as believers, slip up & sin, Christ's Sacrifice & the Spirit's Work in us, will ever alert us, draw us & bring us to repentance. If a person has none of this blessed Work going on in him, then the Spirit is not in residence & he may be deceiving himself ( Romans 8:9). But the warnings there in those portions in Hebrews were for those desiring to turn back into Judaism, for which there was no forgiveness & no further sacrifice available ( Hebrews 6:4-6).

Dear Joyce. Thank you for your enquiry into this great Book in the NT. Of course, I can only share my understanding & perspective of this Book & these passages in particular, which means that I'm not in agreement with those 'TV preachers'. And as much as I agree with you that Christ's one & only Sacrifice is all that is needed to cover 'that sin', indeed all sin, I also believe that the message of Hebrews is directed in another way.

The Book was written primarily to those of Israel (Hebrews) that embraced Christ. Most were truly converted, Spirit-baptized, but some (whether saved or not) were in danger of apostatizing, turning back to Judaism. Even though we today can learn much from the Book, I always believe we must read Scripture in the way it was meant to be read: written to whom, the background, the problems, etc. As we see in the entire Book, the strong references to the superiority of Christ to angels, Moses, prophets & the earthly priesthood all spoke volumes to the Jew who pinned his hope in the strict observance of the Torah, the Prophets & the Writings. To all these, says the Hebrews writer, Jesus is far superior & preeminent as the one & only Sacrifice for mankind's sins.

I don't understand why no one is looking at the context of the verse. The subject is the end times and tribulation. You have to look at that phrase in the context of the chapter. It's talking about enduring to the end of the tribulation during the end times.

I am wanting information in the Bible about being Gay so my Grandson that is 16 can research himself what God and the Bible has to say about it. That way he can see it for himself and know that none of us is judging him or lying to him about it. I just brought him home from a place where I guess he thought he could beat it out of him and humiliate him in public and I know that wasn't going to get it. Thank you for all the information you can give me.

36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? ( Exodus 20)

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang ALL THE LAW and the PROPHETS.

    Ron,

At Revelation 21's point, it's post seventh trumpet, so when is comes to God and Jesus, the two have become virtually interchangeable. Jesus proclaimed Himself to be the "Alpha and Omega" in Revelation 1:8; 21:6; and in 22:13, where Jesus identifies himself as "the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end" in red words.

    There's more:

Isaiah 44:6 "I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God".

Isaiah 48:12 "I am he; I am the first, I also am the last"

Jesus is the Word, a prime mover, who speaks in unison with the Great God Almighty.

    John 10:30 sums it up.
  • The Godhead Scriptures on Genesis 1:1 - 4 years ago
The Scriptures about the Godhead. Sometimes called "Let Us..." in some passages. These scriptures are evidence of all 3 persons of the Godhead speaking to each other.

    Genesis 1:26, 3:22, 11:7

    Isaiah 6:8

    Romans 1:20

    Colossians 2:9

    Acts 17:27-30

    1 John 5:7

    John 10:30

"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and GODHEAD so that they are without excuse:"

You CANNOT cancel out these scriptures with Exodus 20:3

Nor the New Commandments that Jesus delivered to us.

    Genesis 1:1

    The Father purposes

The Word (Jesus) speaks. ( John 1:1)

The Spirit (Holy Spirit) executes the spoken word. Action.
  • John R Nolan - In Reply on Exodus 26 - 4 years ago
Sorry to confuse you, Richard, and, by this response, one determines, as many others, you have not received a true revelation of the GODHEAD.

    There is ONE GOD!

Jesus, the Christ, was that One GOD expressed in perfect flesh, to settle the sin question forever, and, thus it seems you haven't separated Jesus, the MAN, from GOD WHO indwelt Him, to pay for your and my sins.

The Lord Jesus had a GOD, to Whom He prayed, worshiped, served, and, from the time of His baptism, He became the fullness of the GODHEAD bodily, but, GOD can't die, so GOD, SPIRIT, had to leave His, Jesus, body,(Garden of Gethsemane), or He could never die.

Jesus prayed to His Father, asking if He could avoid the cross, but then, He, Jesus, subjected Himself, to His Father will, as the means by and through which GOD, payed the price of sin.

This will probably, create angst amongst many.

It was GOD'S Blood which was shed, as IT alone could finalize satan's claim over the human race.

GOD could not die, so, HE died, en morphe, through HIS Son, which teaching was perverted, through fake Christian teachings, ever since 325. a.d..

Don't wish to offend anyone, but Jesus was not GOD, He was GOD'S SON, through whom HE, GOD, paid our price of redemption.

I can hear the teeth snarling from here, but it is exactly how GOD fulfilled HIS Will, paid for our sins, and I ask you, any other reader, to search the Scriptures, as they alone can reveal this.

I don't believe anything I hear on TV or online in the 'news' anymore. Most is just lies and deceit and biased opinion not based in reality. What if 99% of what they say just isn't true? And what if people assume it's true and live their lives believing things that aren't even real. It's unbelievable deception. People have been lying a long time too, only recently have we seen so much of it exposed. And the fake news tries to legitimize their lies by paying for 'fact check' websites which are further propaganda. Most things on there are also lies. I think God is shaking His head at how stupid people are and how corrupt they've become. One day a line will be crossed and he's going to wipe people out. Like sheep preparing for the slaughter.
  • Richard in Christ - In Reply on Exodus 26 - 4 years ago
One more thing brother. I really don't understand your statements of God coming down to open the seals. Who you denote as the Angel in Revelation 10.

Then you state this "The Angel of the LORD is Christ, Who manifested in flesh, at His appointed time, to fulfill His Father's will"

How is the Angel of the LORD Christ in the OT though you state the Angel of the Lord is God in Revelation?

To me this would mean they are ONE. As God is in Christ and Christ in God.

    Thank you.

    God Bless.
