Me too, what a blessing! It wasn't always so, but for a few years now,

I spend the first part of the day with it. The Holy Spirit is just highlighting

so much; I still read other things, I have interests, but next to the Scripture

now, so much feels utterly flat. Blessings!

Praise God, for this amazing knowledge, and these wonderful verses. What a blessing....

Lately, and more and more, the Scripture is like pure nourishment to me. Thank you Richard!

In Revelation 7:10 it says "salvation to our God" ... I am baffled as to how our God needs salvation? This is really throwing me for a loop . Thanks for any clarification, Tamara

Lauren ,i think i know exactly what you mean ,He gives us everything ,it some times overwhelms me ,we have nothing to give but our love , thats all He wants from us ,that we love Him enough to trust Him implicitly and do as He asks us out of our love for and faith in Him and the promises He has made to us , we are supposed to be meek but i know i sometimes burn inside and long to shout at the top of my voice to people "read the Bible ! God loves you ! Jesus is coming " the best we can do is to lead the kind of life we know He wants us to and be patient ,if we get the chance to help some one thats great but if we dont we dont ,we all have different abilities ,i have always felt that we are like the Levites in a way ,no inheritance in this world .Isaih ch66 v2 ,Num ch18 v20 ,Deut ch18 v2 ,Rev ch1 v6.

Danise, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

Ephesians 2:2 Wherein in times past ye (we) walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

Ephesians 2:3 Among whom ALSO WE ALL had our conversation in times past in the lust of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of our flesh and of the mind; and were by NATURE the children of wrath, even as others.

1 Corinthians 2:6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect; yet NOT THE WISDOM OF THIS WORLD, nor of the PRINCES OF THIS WORLD, that come to nought:

1 Corinthians 2:7 But we speak the WISDOM OF GOD in a mystery, even the hidden WISDOM, which God ORDAINED BEFORE THE WORLD unto OUR glory.

1 Corinthians 2:8 Which none of THE PRINCES OF THIS WORLD knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

Paul said God made him an example to all men. Paul was zealous for killing God's people. When ones appointed time from God comes; GOD WILL CAUSE YOUR WILL TO BECOME HIS WILL just as he did to Paul. WE were all born into IGNORANCE. We ALL killed CHRIST; and whatsoever you are doing to God's children you are doing unto Him.

Ephesians 1:11 .....according to the purpose of HIM who WORKETH ALL THINGS after the counsel of HIS WILL...

Philippians 2:13 For it is GOD (SPIRIT) WHO WORKETH in you BOTH (you and Christ) to will and to do of HIS good pleasure.

Proverbs 16:6 By MERCY and TRUTH iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the Lord men DEPART FROM EVIL.

God's works and will; WILL BE DONE.

All thanks praise glory and honor be to

The Father of all existing and of all creation. I remember when people forgot about The True GOD that gave grace to humanity and worlds to come. I also remember

Those who neglected and rejected the

Lord for sinful lives for lustful flesh. I remember all those beings who mistakes GOD For Evil during the time

Of plague in the world because disobedience to GOD who gives life and life more abundantly. I remember the time when GOD saved me from all

My enemies by giving me the strength

To overcome the world. I know my reward be with me in heaven. Meaning

Salvation and Restoration of The Temple Of GOD AND HIS SON JESUS CHRIST.AMEN.

    Hi E L,

Yes, it seems they did. The first time Paul went to Jerusalem was three years after his Conversion, Where He saw only Simon Peter and James the Lords brother and abode there fifteen days. Galatians 1:18-19.

Then after another fourteen years he went up to Jerusalem again. Stating James, Cephas, and John were there. Galatians 2:9. Though it seems he probably saw all of them at that visit.

    Hope that helps. God Bless.

God Bless you Lauren for your kind reply. It truly gives me joy to help anyone with the Holy Scriptures if I am able. All glory to the Lord as the little ability I have is a Blessing from Him.

Just a couple verses to note for you with Salvation of the Lord:

Jonah 2:9 But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.

Luke 3:6 And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.

Acts 28:28 Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.

    Hebrews 5:7-9 Who in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto Him that was able to save Him from death, and was heard in that He feared;

    Though He were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered;

    And being made perfect, He became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey Him;

2 Timothy 2:10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

Have a wonderful Blessed day Lauren.

Although scripture does not explicity state, I believe the father of Judas Iscariot was named Simon BUT NOT Simon Peter.

Iscariot is actually an epithet given to Judas to distinguish him from others named Judas. Scholars have debated exactly how Iscariot was meant - ranging from 'a man from kerioth' to 'liar' to 'dagger man' to 'assassin'.

Hi Sacha, I hope you and your family are well, you may be right about the Ark, I don't know if anyone knows for sure if the Ark of the Covenant was in the Holy of Holies at that time or where it is today, but you know those guys would not have let the people know if it were missing. The veil was so large and thick, it is said it was as thick as the palm of a man's hand and at least 30 feet wide. It is also said it took 100's of priests to manipulate it. I don't think the earthquake did it I believe it was an angel or the finger of God, just my thoughts. Have a wonderful afternoon, Ron

This goes much deeper than marriage and divorce. These people have no fruit. They have no commitment or love. They make promises, they can't keep. They hate GODs plan and are wanderers like Cain. They were given up on by GOD himself. What an awful thing? No mercy at all. Selfish and self absorbed. If it doesn't benefit them then there's no benefit. A doctor may diagnose them as a narcissist but GOD simply calls them wicked or unrighteousness.

    Hi Eric,

They keep turning back to what they came out of,

to what was natural to them.

They were being commanded to turn from their natural, sinful, fallen nature, but they couldn't, just like we can't.

The heart of man is incurable.

But keep reading, There's help on the way!!!

  • Lauren - In Reply on 1 Corinthians 13 - 4 years ago
Thank you for leading me to this passage again. Lately I had been looking at myself too much, sad that I have seemed

to accomplish so little for the Lord, I am no great evangelist, not even a good one, I live a very ordinary life, nothing

really spiritual or religious at all about it. I have a job that pays very little comparatively speaking, but I love it, I work

with kids in the public school, help them get through "the system." Last year I had the opportunity to teach, but it proved too much for me. I went back to being a helper. But so often, I wish I could be a better witness

for Christ...... The discrepancy inside me breaks my heart in two sometimes, how strong is his love inside, but how little I have to show for it. Then I read 1 Corinthians 13, and am reminded, it is not about all that I DO for God, it is about His love abiding in my heart, just being with Him, and loving him, and being near Him. Wow, that really helped me today. Thank you.
  • Lauren - In Reply on Matthew 12:2 - 4 years ago
Romans 5:7-9 came to mind for me. It doesn't answer your question directly, but indirectly....

that a "good" man will not know the Lord's salvation if his goodness is his own. It is knowledge of our

sins and our sinful nature that opens us to call out for Jesus Christ and his salvation. Otherwise we remain dead in our "good" works, though to the world we may appear important, powerful or saintly.

7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
  • Lauren - In Reply on Leviticus 13 - 4 years ago
That is amazing, that a tiny word can change a whole meaning. Thank you so much, your work and research

has handed me a gem today. What searchless riches are ours in the WORD. And yet, "seek and ye shall find"

even greater riches! May the Lord bless you today for your efforts..... I feel such joy at His Kingdom expanding!
  • Sach - In Reply on 2 Chronicles 24:16 - 4 years ago
Oh Eric ! You have hit the nail on the head ! The desire to have power over others is a very dangerous trait that many of us have at one time or another in our lives ,in my congregation we are not permitted to be police officers ,prison officers ,debt collectors ,military personel or in volved in politics at any level ,power corrupts and we are all susceptable to sin so we must be aware of our own weekness and keep out of situations that might encourage our sinfull nature to get the better of us ,Jesus had sooo much power but he was always gentle ,always thinking of his followers safety ,i believe that was one of the reasons he would tell people he had healed not to go around broadcasting it ,he was afraid the Jewish elders would target those who he had healed and he was right ! The Jewish PRIESTS priests ! Wanted to kill Lazarus ! We need to know our own faults and weeknesses in order to keep out of situations in life where we might succumb to them .

Dan, I wonder whether you're thinking of 1 Peter 4:18. And there is also 1 Corinthians 3:15 but this speaks about a believer's (dead) works are burned up though he himself is saved.
  • Sally on 1 Corinthians 13 - 4 years ago
read every day 1 Cor 13

since the greatest commandment and the second commandment is telling us to love.
