Bringing the KJV Bible to the public, cost many lives. They were captured and burned publically at the stake for this crime. Remember those that paid the ultimate cost.

For some, their Bibles are in a closet gathering dust; some Bibles are taken to goodwill with other old books. Or they sit on a spotless side table for show; not being read daily.

King James paid dearly for this atrocity against "the Church". Bible smuggling was huge at that time in History. Our Lord Jesus commanded us, GO YE into all the World... and ordinary monks and people did that! Praise God.

The King James Bible has less errors than any other version of the Bible. It's an original: not interpreted, simplified or paraphrased. I'm not saying all other Bibles are not correct to use. No way.

What IS important, is the Bible that is INSIDE OF YOU. How MUCH Bible have you ingested into your mind, heart and immortal soul. It cant grow up big unless you feed (read) it every day.

I read big chunks every day because I love to follow the stories; the progress of events. Yes it means I have to turn off the tv so I can concentrate. Less tv qualifies as a FAST unto the Lord. It's as hard to fast from food, as it is to silence the tv. Proclaim the fast and make it count. Set phones to vibrate only.

We all have to know that Satan doesn't want us to actually read our Bibles. That's why I often read Bible OUT LOUD, so Satan and his creepy demons have to listen too. Jesus fasted 40 days and nights and when Satan tempted him, Jesus said: IT IS WRITTEN: and He put the right scripture for that particular temptation. He was showing us, that is HOW we are to do it. Now I'm not sure if all Israel and the prophets and priests knew that all the sacrifices and works in the old tabernacle was pointing to Christ but i believe John the baptist knew, that's what his baptism was about and it was for the Jews, he prepared the way for Christ.

And maybe Abraham, he dwelt in tents looking for a city whose maker was God.

I believe their veil we being taken away is what we see in Hebrews 11:8 when God says he will write his laws in their hearts, "not stoney tablets" for ALL shall know me, That's the work of the Holyspirit, "spirit of truth" Jesus told the disciples to wait on the Holyspirit before they go on with there mission.

So the promise was not to be completed under the old covenant because it could not be complete without the new heart.

Hi Victor! You are blessed. You have discovered the first of many Godhead scriptures in the Bible.

This is proof of the 3 persons consulting with each other, concerning mankind.

The Father purposes

The Word (Jesus) speaks. ( John 1:1)

The Spirit (Holy Spirit) executes the spoken word. Action.

Together, they created everything that we see, know, feel, and are still discovering every day. Through Jesus's cross, we can speak/pray/praise them with the words of our mouth, the meditations of our hearts, and our souls; which came from God. That in scripture He says ALL souls belong to me.

For me personally, there is no better feeling or knowing, that I belong to God. He is mine and I am His. (Song of Solomon). All we must do is to possess that love with all of our strength. If strength is weakened by daily sin, we have only to call upon God for cleansing, rescue and restoration; salvation. If God is for us, who can be against us?

Talking to Him is the greatest pleasure I have ever known! With the finished work of the Cross of Christ: I can walk with God as Adam once did in the garden.

Satan's lies no longer have POWER to distract and destroy our relationship with God. If sin occurs, we have only to confess it and turn away from it. Gods strength is made perfect in our weakness.

Doubts that God doesn't love or forgive us, are mind bombs from the Devil and his workers of iniquity. Resist it and run straight to the Cross.

Grace is for the here and now. To get us by as we come into the full knowledge of His Truth. Grace is not so we can do as we think to do without any discipline from the Almighty. What is your opinion regarding the term "legion" as specified in this chapter. I have looked up the term and it states that a legion at the time was 5 to 6 thousand. I read here that 2 thousand swine perished in the sea. I have noticed this as many times as I have read this chapter that I firmly after reading it again, this poor man had at least 2000 demons in him. While that may seem impossible to some, why would so many have perished in the sea if the demons had not taken them there?
