Proverbs 31
I Timothy 2: 9-15
I Timothy 3: 11-12
I Timothy 5
Titus 2
To add to the details Adam stated for you. I was going to just make a post about this but as I see your question I am replying to you.
I must speak from the heart. This is no joke. I just watched a man filled with the Holy Ghost preach for over 5 hours. A lot of what he stated I already knew. Though he shed light on numerous things. Here is just one thing in Scripture I believe should be known. Not just for you but all my brothers and sisters in Christ and anyone that may see this.
Revelation 18:23-24. And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy "sorceries" were all nations deceived.
24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.
In this verse the word "sorceries" is the Greek word "pharmakeia". Which we get the English word pharmacy from. Meaning the use or administering of drugs, poisoning, or sorcery. And there is known to be the cells of aborted fetuses in the "vaccine" which links to verse 24.
That being just one parallel I was led to. As I said before I would never tell anyone to get this "shot". Keep your faith, and trust, in the Lord with all your heart.
As I said I will not condemn someone if they got the shot. Though I am not the one who is on the Throne in Heaven whom people will have to stand before.
I'm not going to seem all wise and say I know this is the mark. Though what if it really is? Would you jeopardize your soul? To be accepted by the world? Or would you rather be accepted by the Lord.
I will apologize beforehand as I don't want controversy. I know we must all make our own decisions. Though I feel I must post these things.
Over 700 million people have been vaccinated and over 15 million people a day are receiving the shot. And the rate is going up.
God Bless.
Context Summary
Jude 1:5-16 describes the nature, errors, and fate of false teachers plaguing the Christian church. Jude's readers seem to have been acquainted with Israel's history. This passage references Old Testament events to help explain the apostates' sins, the danger they pose, and how the Lord will punish them. Jude references the unbelief of Israel after the Lord delivered them from slavery in Egypt, rebellious angels, the ungodly people of Sodom and Gomorrah, and the dangers of allowing such people to mingle with other believers.
Chapter Context
Jude's brief letter describes men at their worst and God at His best. Believers are already on the victorious side! Those who mock God's truth and who follow their own desires all while claiming to be Christians, are the most dangerous kind of unbelievers. These persons pose a danger to themselves and to any Christians they might influence. In response, Christians need to focus on understanding the truth of God's written Word and submitting to His will.
None of this fits in with Michael the Archangel.
You're right in the point that Moses was already buried, and Michael was sent to guard the burial place. The point being that Satan wanted to use the body for idol worship or another reason? Here's part of the commentary on that:
" The key point here is that Michael, despite being a powerful being himself, refused to slander the Devil. This proves the arrogance of the apostates Jude is discussing. They are so conceited that they're doing what even an archangel won't!
Moses, Israel's leader during the exodus from Egypt, was buried by the Lord in an unknown place ( Deuteronomy 34:1-6). According to the traditional account, Michael and the Devil had engaged in a dispute about the burial of Moses' body, but Michael would not slander the Devil. Instead, he yielded to God's authority by trusting Him to rebuke the Devil. We do not know the details of the dispute, but God may have assigned Michael with the task of guarding Moses' grave, and the Devil may have wanted to steal Moses' body to make it an object of worship."
Evidently it would be better to Google the History of Jude 1, and see what New Testament conflict he was having with the locals. I'll get back to you.
And thanks so much for bringing this to my split attention. Today my electric company swears I cancelled my service after the ice storm, a month ago. I didn't. They Couldn't resolve that they made an error; so I had to tell them I was going elsewhere to get service, which I did. Sounds similar to Michael & Satan, lol.
In Matthew Chapter 3, right before John baptized Jesus, Jesus said in Matthew 3:15, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
So Jesus answered and said to John, allow it to be for now, for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness. Then he suffered or allowed him. Notice it says becomes "us" to fulfill all righteousness. It is the fulfillment of Exodus 29:4, to fulfill all righteousness! And there are three things that are very interesting about Jesus' coming.
At 30 years of age, that is the age of the priesthood according to Numbers 4:30. The priest had to go through a MIKVEH, a baptism. They had to be baptized from head to toe. The washing or the MIKVEH of the priesthood is in Exodus 29:4.
But, Moses was supposed to do the baptizing! That is interesting because here is John the baptizer standing there and Jesus says this is for "us" to fulfill all righteousness. And so John is stepping in the place of Moses and baptizing Jesus for the priesthood. The anointing of the priesthood is found in Exodus 29:7. They were anointed with oil.
So Jesus was 30 years of age. And in order for Him to officially, according to the law, enter into His priesthood according to the Jews, He would have to be baptized.
I personally don't think it's the mark of the beast, but that doesn't mean I'm ok with taking it. I don't see the need to take an experimental injection for a virus that only 7% of the US population got in more than a year. 93% have not gotten it. But even if you're within the unlucky 7% that get it, it's 99.9% survivable. Only those with other health risks, obesity, etc are at higher risk. So, why should I rush to take an experimental injection that 90% have said gave them side effects, change their DNA, and a % have died from. So, I risk death to protect against death? Meanwhile there is already a very cheap medicine that's been around 60+ years that has shown 100% positive results in hundreds of studies involing tens of thousands of people across the world with no downside. So, there's already a medicine that hugely speeds recovery, but because some bad players released fake news about it and got the evil media to back their lie, people got afraid and ruled it out. What a twisted world we live in where satan deceives everyone with so many lies. It takes a lot of research to figure out what the truth is and when you do, you still will have people claiming you don't have the truth, that what they saw on TV is instead the 'truth'. God help us.
Here are three examples: Isaiah 42:8; Jeremiah 16:21 and 33:2.
You may like to look at the following Psalms that have some messianic content: 2, 8, 16, 22, 34, 35, 40, 41, 45, 68, 69, 109, 110 & 118. There would be a verse, or several verses, which by prophetical inspiration make application to the Lord Jesus.
Every Christian is called to do the work of an evangelist. Men and women & teens.
Why not read up on ideas other street ministries are doing. Just Google that. It can be done in your own neighborhoods. Now I like Chick Tracts; they're like little comic books but with a hefty message. There is the sinners prayer on every one of them that can help someone pray to become a Christian.
Everyone teach and learn John chapter 3. Practice quoting a verse to each other. Memorize.
Always evangelize on city property right of way for the public. Parks, or door to door on their streets, skateboard parks or on a sidewalk near a door. People love those comic books. :D
Put the tract in the persons hand, and in a friendly manner ask if you can read it to them; or ask if they have a need you can pray with them for. The prayer of agreement is between
2-3 people, asking God to come alongside and answer that request.
Write your church name and phone number on the back page of the tract.
Most people will keep that comic book in their home. Ask the Lord of the Harvest to cause them to look at it often.
There is a Crown in Heaven, called "The Crown of Rejoicing", awaiting all those who lead unbelievers into a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. They are given out at the Bema Seat of Jesus Christ in Heaven's rewards ceremony.
This is honorable ministry work. Special offerings to buy more tracts should be taken as the need arises. Or pocket sized New Testament give away Bibles.
Leave them on bus stop benches, park benches by the monkey bars, on the ground outside a goodwill store, skate board parks. Safe places.
Kids should work in pairs or 3's, as did the disciples in the Bible. To be a friend of Christ, one must be friendly.
Always have a moment of prayer before leaving the church to go evangelize.
Yes Yahweh is God.
So if James didn't write it, who did? To begin with, there's no single author. One individual-Richard Bancroft, the archbishop of Canterbury-was notable for having the role of overseer of the project, something akin to a modern editor of a collection of short stories. The actual translating (writing) of the KJV was done by a committee of 47 scholars and clergymen over the course of many years. So we cannot say for certain which individual wrote a given passage.
By way of Google
Acts 2:24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
How can anyone have been resurrected or overcome death before Jesus? Thanks Ron
